We don't use the grill a lot, primarily just for hot dogs, but this grill mat has worked beautifully for us. I cut up the second one to use as a mat in my toaster oven. Very happy with the purchase. My husband says, "I like it a lot. Really keeps the grill clean."

These BBQ mats are fabulous! We use them all of the time. Our favorite dish is salmon. I've BBQ'd chicken, pork chops, burgers, veggies and salmon. Haven't used them for breakfast items yet. Cleanup is a little messy unless you scrap the left overs off first outside then just use soap and a sponge- ready to go for the next time. Will buy again. Thank you

The grill mat is great. I had never even heard of such a thing until I ran across it online. It keeps the grill clean, so there is minimal cleaning after grilling. It even leaves the grill marks that you would get if you put the food directly on the grill without the mat, which surprised me. It's probably best to clean the mat shortly after grilling, rather than letting it sit too long. Bottom Line: I recommend this grill mat. Do yourself a favor and get it.

I got this on a Amazon lightning deal for $5.99 and I am Happy! They work great for everything I have used them for. I originally bought these because I want the silicone baking mats, the problem with those is they don't fit the pans you buy at the store so before I spent all the money to upgrade all of my baking sheets so they would fit I wanted to try something close that wouldn't cost much if it failed. I have used these in the oven in my pans and they work good. They are too large for the pans but soft enough that they almost take the shape of the pan when pushed into it. I have baked bacon, bacon wrapped scallops / shrimp, chicken, fish, cheese sticks, etc... in temps from 350F-450F. They haven't melted or warped and no odor from the mat. I wash them with a paper towel and hot soapy water, everything comes off.I wasn't sure about using them on the grill because of some of the reviews. I make hamburgers mixed with lots of cheese and bacon which make a HUGE mess on the grill and takes some time to scrape off. I tried these and they did great. I cooked the cheeseburgers on med direct flame (gas side of grill) for 16 min (3 flips), the burgers had grill marks and were perfectly cooked to the right temp (I thought I would have to cook them longer than normal). The mat was a mess just as I expected but my grill was clean. I put the mat in hot soapy water and let it soak, came back to it after dinner, everything came off and it's still as good as new! These mats have already paid for themselves with the money I saved on not using aluminum foil.

So my daughter told me about these mats. I was skeptical to say the least. My indoor bbq has been with me since 1996 and truthfully, I hate using it because the cleanup is horrendous.......So I tried a mat with chicken breasts in the house on this Jenair bbq......OMGSH!!! They are fantastic!!! The chicken did not dry out, the marinade did not leak on my electric elements and the grill marks were the same, if not better than with the outside grill. The chicken was juicy because the elements of the bbq did not suck out all the moisture. So.....what I did was order a set for everyone in the family. Then I took an extra set I ordered for myself and cut them to fit grill pans I have for on the stove......I haven't cleaned a grill or grill pan since they came. The price is great but the product is amazing!!

I was looking for something to cook fish on my BBQ grill that would prevent it from falling through the grill.These mats do the trick, at first I was wondering if there was going to melted plastic mess on my grill, but think of it as a frying pan without the pan.It's more like a sheet of teflon, (maybe that's what is) I put 3 large salmon steaks on it, it cooked them flawlessly, just as if it where in a pan, but withthe BBQ touch. You get grill marks and your smoke flavor. Cleanup is fairly easy. It is best to wipe down the mat while it is still warm to pickup excess grease and oils. After I wipe up as much as I can, I lay the mat in the sink in some hot water and a little dish soap and let it soak so it breaks down any remaining oil. After a short soak you can scrub it with pretty much anything to clean it, rinse and dry.The only thing to keep in mind is try and use plastic/non scratch utensils. The material can be cut by metal spatulas, but they do work too.Great when using public grills in parks.And these are a GREAT value, they are pretty much half the cost as other and you get 2 sheets for $4I liked them so much, I bought 3 more!

works amazing! keep your grill somewhere between 300 and 400 degrees F and it cooks nice and even with no mess at the end. you have to get the mat off quickly so you don't drip all the juices onto your clean grill at the end but that's not a big deal.So far I've done Steaks, burgers, trout filets, and stir fry in a grill basket. all turned out amazing. this is a great product- it's holding up very well

Worked good on the grill as expected.Another use I've found it is good for is protecting the stove top when cooking something that could splatter. They are almost fire resistant and a lot easier to clean than the stove top!

I used this for the first time cooking a porterhouse steak and it was beyond belief...I don't understand the technology, but I love how it works without burning up on the grill...I highly recommend this item...they are nice big sheets and no food was lost (veggies and such)...love it...

These twisted Chef Grill mat is a very nice way to cook meat on your grill. They catch all the grease and keeps it from going in the botton burner area. After it cools off you scrap the grease off the mat and you reqdy to go again.. Will stand 600 degrees F. But will burn up if left on nigh to long.No grease in the botton and no grease fires. Cooks like a charm. Put small pieces on the mat and you won't loose them through the grill. Good prodduct and not expensive. Takes the mess out of cooking.

My only use for this mat so far was smoking a turkey on my gas grill for Christmas Eve. It was a three and a half hour job at temperatures that ranged between 300 and 450 degrees. The mat worked perfectly, even though one edge was right next to a charcoal/wood mix, occasionally with minor flare-ups, inside the grill. When done, the mat cleaned up effortlessly and the grill cleanup was reduced by 90%. Shortly after I received these mats, Twisted Chef sent me a follow-up email providing additional "how to use" hints for their product. Even though I think this information should have been included inside the product packaging, the fact that they took this step speaks well of their product support. I am confident they will stand behind this product if I have any trouble with it and am very happy I did business with them. And I found my new favorite way to cook a turkey!

These are the best!! They turn you grill into a frying pan and a bread oven. I make Naan and cook it on these sheets in the grill with the lid down and it comes out perfectly without having to heat up my house with my oven. I've also baked loves of home made bread with perfect results. I bought them to cook vegetables on my grill so they won't fall through but it's so much more versatile than that.

Gave it as a gift.

These are great for grilling chopped, smaller items that you want to have that flavor from the grill. I also use them when grilling fish. I real handy item to have to grill more items keeping the kitchen clean.

I like these grill mats very much. I purchased last year as stocking stuffers for the males in my family and kept a set for my husband to use for grilling. I like that they are reusable. I really only see one con to these, they are kind of a pain to clean for reuse. Other than that, they are great. I like having an option other than toxic aluminum foil.

Cooks food very well and leaves grill marks!I use it for grilling vegies and fish without having to worry about sticking or losing my food through the grate.Also no flares ups!Clean up is fairly straightforward - just wipe off, but careful! It's still hot!If I leave it too long and the food has dried onto the mat, I just wash it in the sink with soap warm water and a brush.

These BBQ Grill mat are amazing, my husband uses all the time everytime that we grill, it is also very easy to clean

They clean up quite easily, and keeps the grates on the grill much cleaner. Can do more variety of foods, as I don't have to worry about loosing food between the grates. When cleaning care should be utilized not to scrub them with anything with stiff bristles as it can cause unwanted holes in them. I enjoy using them!

These were a great find for certain types of grilling. I really like it for veggies as you still get grill marks but don't have to worry about it sticking to the grill for falling in as you rotate.Where it REALLY shines is for pizza on the grill!! I make the pizza on one of these then slip it onto a peel and walk it out to the grill. Makes it SUPER easy to rotate the pie on the grill and get it back onto the peel after. I can't remember the last time I used the oven for pizza after discovering this trick.Took one star off because they started to crack after a year but I went ahead and bought another set because they are so handy

Work great on charcoal grill and lower heat smoker. If you get lots of juice from the meat it runs off so a bit messy. Sausage which is sometimes burned on outside to get done was much better on this sheet than bare grill. I recommend this product.

Finally got a chance to use these mats on Labor Day as I was grilling for 15 people. I am using a 4 burner propane grill with my favorite recipe for marinated chicken. After laying the Grill Matts (2) over the grill surface, I started using my normal grilling temperature, about 3/4 full. The grill began to smoke and a considerable amount of ash was created. When I turned the temperature down to low, the smoke and ash decreased and disappeared. I am not sure if covering 90%+ of the grill surface was the problem or the heat. Bottom line, the chicken came out beautifully and the grill remained clean, although I did miss the grill marks and the charring of the meat. Also, the Grill Matts did not clean up perfectly. They still have a small amount of burnt material left on them. Still much easier than cleaning the grill after cooking with marinate.

This product really helps control spatters and flare ups on the grill. You can load it up with burgers and brats and not have a flaming inferno on your hands! Now, if they could just figure out a way to self clean! The mats are kind of a mess to clean. I find it helps to blot up some of the grease with a paper towel while the grill is still warm and toss the greasy towel into the garbage. If you wait until everything cools down, you have a greasy mess to clean up... I've used them in the oven on the lower rack with great success! They really work well to help keep your oven looking like new!Overall, great product!

The mats are excellent for fish, vegetables and any other food item that is likely to fall through the grills. The mats allow the heat of the underlying grill to penetrate the mat so as to create the grill lines generally found on grilled meats. Can by washed in the dishwasher but should be scrubbed first to loosen any grilled-on food particles. Can't attest yet to longevity of the mats but hope for the best.

We cut these up and used them as drip liners for a grill at the vacation we rent out Now that we've cleaned the BBQ several times... I'm ready to buy more and use them the way they're supposed to be used. (We only figured out how they're supposed to be used because we got a terrific email from Twisted Chef with a list of instructions and suggestion,) I may come back and add another star after we've done that.

Decent mats but not as easy to clean as led to believe.

As expected the food doesn't stick to the mat. What they don't say is if you cook greasy foods like burgers that the pooling of oils can catch fire if not careful.

One worked great the other got a hole but still did a good job

Not sure how others are getting grill marks, used a couple times now, no grill marks. Only used for chicken so far, which comes out nice but prefer the crust sear you get directly on the grill or a pan sear. They did help to reduce flare ups and chicken came out nice and moist, was just hoping for grill marks from what others said. But for the $ these are nice, much cheaper than otehrs that are basically the same and your getting two decent sized sheets. I'll try with fish next time as I think thats where this will come handy since fish even if oiled can stick to a grill.

Actually, I was surprised these mats do work. You can see grill marks on the cooking/cooked foods and they don't let small item fall between the grates as indicated. The only down fall is cleaning the mats. Since outdoors, I hose them off after cooling down (on the ground) and follow up with sink washing. Oh yea, that down side...a little more soaking and scrubbing is necessary to completely clean than I expected. I might try cooking oil next time and see if they clean up easier. Yes, I'd recommend them and probably purchase again. Seller shipped quickly and we put them to use!

These work ok, although it took my zucchini slices quite a while to grill using these mats. So I'm not sure I'll be using them when I am running short on time. However, they do double as a cutting board, so there's a bright side. :)

works alright but when I opened box there where only 2 mats not customer conducive SO NOT HAPPY!!!!!

I found them somewhat messy when it comes to clean up. My husband likes them for grilling. Saves a lot time and elbow grease cleaning the grill.

It did not occur to me that any fat from meat products would pool on the surface. It makes sense that it would but it make our turkey burgers greasy and we ended up removing the pads and finishing the burgers directly on the grill. I will try the suggestion of lining the bottom of the grill. This would probably work well for vegetables.

STILL LEARNING TO USE IT FOR DIFFERENT THINGS. DOES NOT CLEAN UP AS EASY AS YOU THINK, BUT IT SERVES A PURPOSE.

They work well

They do work as advertised. However if you are cooking items that create grease like hamburgers the grease stays on top so it is like frying them. other items cook perfectly. Not as easy to clean as advertised and still have not figured out how to put them in the dischwaher because it falls over like paper. So we just hand clean them.

After a few uses, I couldn't he the mat clean. They always felt sticky. I just ended up throwing mine away.

The wings are paper. My child was very disappointed that they weren't like the other fairy's wings. I expect that they will be broken very quickly

These aren't quite what I hoped for. They work, but they are AWFUL to clean, even in the dishwasher. They leave char everywhere in the kitchen, and it's not pleasant. I'd find another brand to buy, if I were you.

The mat got burnt, not sure why

It DOES stick on it, and you have to wash everytime really well. After 5-10 usage, you may think to throw it away. Only good part is, you keep your bbq clean, and since it is harder to take the whole grill and clean, you just get these in to kitchen sink and wash it. But im disappointed with their advertisement, i was expecting way better product..

My husband does not like the clean up process. He doesn't think they performed as well as they claimed for heat distribution.

Decided to give these a try based upon the reviews. A mistake, but they're cheap so no real financial loss. Can't understand why so many positive reviews, but then I read some and realized that the big reviews are paid reviews by the manufacturer and some people are reviewing these even though they admit they haven't tried them!!!These are very flimsy mats that will slide around your grill like wax paper. Good luck getting your spatula under the meat. Also, note that the instructions say not to put these over a flame. Do any of you have grills that don't generate a flame???!!! If your grill has flames, expect the mat to disintegrate, as per the instructions. You are also instructed to not use the metal utensils you have for your grill or they will destroy the mats, so make sure you spend about $50 to buy new plastic utensils when you order these mats. These are now in the trash: I'm not going to risk having these mats slowly embed their chemicals into my food as they degrade from flames and spatulas.I did try them - twice - and my burgers didn't cook any differently from just putting them on the bare grates. Of course, using these mats means you have something else to clean ...and you get no benefit from using them.If you want something that will assure a well-cooked piece of meat, get a good meat thermometer. These mats are for dreamers.

Love the idea but didn't work well... If you cook something with any fat, it has no where to go and builds up before it poors off. Just not really what we expected.

Unlike the Cookina Cooking sheets these are much smaller about 3"x3" in diameter. Ok if you have a small grill, but you need 2 if your cooking area is bigger........still prefer the Cookina cooking sheets.

Don't know how this item has so much positive reviews but these mats are worthless. Food sticks and it's hard to clean. I would just keep using non stick aluminum foil which works better.Trash this item..

The product was good but they were all damaged, and I could hardly use that.By the time I opened the boxes it was too late to report the damaged boxes.i realized that when i opened the boxes after the 30 days period of return to Amazon.Tried using them but the stuff being grilled was burnt.Sorry but that is my point of view, BUT I COULD NOT USE THEM.

I had high expectations, and was terrribly disappointed. This is a horrible product. The food sticks to it, and the mat slides all over the grill when trying to turn the food over. The only way I can imagine the product being more useless is if it were to melt and slide through the grates itself. I wonder if this product is the only waste of money, or if all grill mats are the same?!?

This a horrible mat. With just one use and it is already splitted in the middle and ripped and has weared out. I noticed this mat is very thin unlike other mats I have ordered from Amazon which was never a problem.This mat was not over heated but just used ONCE at normal temperature. Do order this mat. I have ordered the Gorilla Grill Mats and they are thick and awesome mat. The fabric frays and I am able to pull each of the fiber from the ends. I have never had that happen from the other mats I have ordered. Unfortunately we were not able to use this mat until now so it is over the 30 day return policy. I didnt think to test this mat out before the 30 days as I didnt have any problem like this. Do not order this mat!!!

While excited to use these as I am an avid griller, I can't help but wonder where all these positive reviews are coming from. Thus far, I have cooked Tilapia burgers twice on these. When trying to flip the burgers, they all seemed to stick. The whole grill pad moved while trying to get under it. This necessitated me trying to hold the hot grill mat in order to get the spatula under it. They did seem to clean alright, but certainly not worth it if everything sticks to it. I tried this both unheated, and also tried heating it up before putting on the grill. Will try again tonight with Salmon to see if I have any better results.

The first minutes seemed promising however after removing food off mat and placing foil wrapped bread the mat caught fire and was damaged BEWARE!

Product melted on grill..

Used this on my Weber charcoal grill. After we were done, I noticed some discoloration on the edges. At first I thought it was just dirty, but later realized the coating started coming off. Not sure why as I put the mat on well after the flames died down. Oh well, that's one down and two more to go. I'll try again and hope for better luck next time.

Great concept! Used 2 of them to cook on charcoal. No flames present when using. The Grill marks remained on the material. They became see through. Soaked them over night, neither would come completely clean. Returning them.

I used these twice and on the second use several sections of the coating fell off. I put them on just after igniting so they would heat up with the grill and during the second use I saw the coating flaking and could scrape it off with a spatula. Ripped them off the grill and the other side even stuck to my grill on lowest heat. Did not dare grill steaks with the chance the coating would stick to steaks. Junked these and would avoid this brand.

Did not last long. Only used a few times and it started to disintegrate. Would not recommend.
