Perfect Nursing Cover!
July 20, 2017
Perfect nursing cover. Covers everything (which is important because I don't want anything showing, including my stomach!) and is still light and pretty airy.I looove the way it comes out on top so I can see my baby while I'm nursing - I can make sure he latches correctly and maintain the bonding. Plus I simply love the inner pockets because I stash my nursing pads in them while nursing and they stay clean and at hand, and the pockets being made of a terry cloth material has come in handy when I forget to pack burp cloths or my supply means extra drips!
I love this cover
July 13, 2017
I love this cover!!!! It's my second cover and it kicked the first ones butt. Baby is comfortable, I can see her, and she has plenty of room. The cloth corners are so helpful too! Worth every penny.
Best nursing cover so far!❤️
July 4, 2017
You can tell this was created by a mother who thought of everything that a nursing cover needs in order to make it easier on a nursing mama.I love how big it is and how I can see my son while nursing and the sewed in terry cloths to wipe his mouth after feeds was a great idea.Love love love my nursing cover
Great but go with Muslin material if in warm climate!
June 12, 2017
Sort of light weight but tried a friends made of the Muslin material and it was so much cooler in a warm climate!!! So if summer or spring, I'd recommend the Muslin one. This one is nicely made and good quality! I love that you can see baby with D ring opening! That's a major plus!
Great Cover!
March 15, 2016
Love this cover better than some other brands as it has more coverage and has these awesome bottom corners that have a little pocket made from towel like material. It's perfect if you forget a burp cloth or just need a quick wipe. Love the little pocket too as its just big enough for a pacifier or a nipple shield in a case so you can be discreet about things if desired. This cover folds up easily and compactly. Found the opening at the top to be better than others and allowed great viewing access of babg
Breathable and stylish nursing cover
July 21, 2015
My daughter introduced me to the Bebe au Lait Nursing Cover, so I bought this for a very good friend of mine, who just had a baby and she loves it! They both agree that it is very light and when the baby is covered there is a nice gap on top so mom and baby can look at each other and baby can easily breath. I would highly recommend this to nursing mothers!

A must have for the pumping mom
August 2, 2017
I don't know why I let this sit around for a few weeks before finally trying it out. It's so great! Very adjustable with the extra panels to grow/shrink with you and adjust to your particular girth. Takes a bit of trial and error to figure out how to get it on and get your funnels adjusted, but once you get the hang of it it's awesome. My funnels detach, so I tend to put it on, zip it halfway, place the funnels then poke them through the holes in front and attached the bottles. It's a little more awkward trying to go the other way, but doable. Pretty sure this will work with any type of pump/funnel/bottle combination. I use it at work so I can do emails and such and not worry about sitting there holding the funnels up to me. Huzzah for hands-free pumping!
Buy this bra!
May 5, 2017
If you are going to pump at all, do yourself a favor and BUY THIS BRA! I wish I had one before I went to the hospital to give birth to my first son. I wasn't expecting to pump as much as I did. It's easy to use and keeps the pump in place well. It's a bit annoying to adjust the size, but I only had to do it once and it's been fine since. Washing is easy, I let air dry so I bought a second bra so I could use one while the other was being washed and dried. I've recommended to other new moms too.
Would fit a variety of sizes, extra center panel increases versatility - wonderful bra!
April 30, 2017
Love this bra. I've used it for about a week, every day for pumping at work. Like a dodo I tried to fasten the velcro behind my back the first few days (leaving it zipped) then realized it'd be much easier to leave the velcro fastened at the appropriate tightness and zip it up after putting it on. haha.I was skeptical about how well the flanges would stay attached to my breast with only a thin silky material holding them on, but it really works very well. The overlapping openings - one vertical, one horizontal - hold the flange in place. The extra front panel is wonderful too - makes this bra able to fit a variety of women. I'm thin with smaller breasts (pre-pregnancy a 32B, currently I'd guess a 34C) but my breasts are set wide apart - so I'm glad I purchased this bra instead of competitors precisely because of the extra center panel - no way I could use it without it, the way my breasts are built. No issues yet! Highly recommended.
MUST HAVE item for any breastfeeding Mama
July 19, 2015
I actually purchased this bra two years ago after having my son, and pulled it out of storage last week when I gave birth to my new daughter. I LOVE this product. My little girl is in the NICU so I'm pumping. A lot. The ability to be hands free while pumping is absolutely priceless. When I'm in the NICU, I am able to easily sit (or stand) while I pump comfortably, and have my hands free to grab a drink of water, hold a book, etc. I've used this at home too. The velcro adjustable back on this bra allows me to adjust and readjust as many times as I need to get the perfect fit. It allows the flanges to fit firmly against my breasts to keep the suction I need to pump effectively, but not so tight that it hurts. At first I thought the front zipper would be annoying or uncomfortable but that is not the case- the zipper allows for a quick put-on and take-off process. I've never used the included straps as I've not felt I have needed them. This bra stays on and keeps the flanges in place while I've tended to my two year old at the same time- I've changed diapers, read books & colored with my two year old while the pump keeps going. I was originally hesitant to spend the money on this item as I thought I'd only be pumping with any frequency during my child's NICU stay, but those early days that sometimes feel like months when I used/am using this product making pumping more tolerable and easier and that's been worth every penny. I can attest that mine has now held up through two kids and is still going strong.
Crucial for back to work pumping
April 18, 2014
I literally could not pump as quickly or easily as I do at work without this bra. I have one that I keep in my pumping bag and just wash every weekend and return on Sunday night for the week.

A couple things to know/keep in mind:

1. For those who don't realize- everyone I know who has this does not wear it as a stand alone bra. I wear my nursing bra every day. Then when I need to pump at work I put this on over my nursing bra with the 'flaps' of the nursing bra positioned down. Once done pumping I take it off.

2. Sizing- it may seem weird that it can fit so many sizes but it is accurate. Between the extra zippered piece and the extenders this really fits all sizes.

3. Effectiveness- I pump three times a day Monday-Friday while I'm at work. It allows me to use the double pump and is really hands free. I typically hold the pump to me for the first few seconds of suction and then let go. Then I have both hands free to do whatever- including checking email, making phone calls, etc.

4. Longevity- this is well made, no question. It is not thin material but instead nice quality material that you can tell will continue to hold up well.

5. Coupon code- as one reviewer pointed out. Yes, when you receive the product there is a request for reviews on Amazon and if you do they will give you a few dollars off a second one. Here's the thing- it's a great product and I know lots of moms who use this product every day who love it and none of us have ever bought a second one using a coupon code or given reviews because of pressure due to a coupon code.

6. Compatibility- this will work with any breast pump that has flanges that can be placed in the bra- whether double, single, electric or hand. I have an Ameda Purely Yours double electric but I know several others who have Madela's and everything fits.

7. One gotcha- when using this make sure that you center the flange on yourself and that you feel the suction. I would recommend first pumping WITHOUT the bra to see how it feels. Then put the bra on and pump. The reason I say this is because if you don't have it centered and in securely the pump itself can break suction resulting is a loss of effective pumping. It also gives you an idea of exactly how large you need the bra and where the openings should be on you in order to hold your pump.

8. Number needed- I have one. I use it five days a week and don't feel the need to have numerous ones. Since it isn't worn for as long as a normal bra or in the same way by no means do I feel the need to have multiple. I know it's not the cheapest product considering you probably just bought nursing bras, breast pads, a pump, and everything else your baby needs but don't feel like you need multiple to get the benefit.

Overall this should be in every mom's pumping bag as it makes pumping as easy as it could possible be. I highly recommend this product!

I love this nursing pillow! After trying other pillows this is far superior! I actually gave away a few others that were gifted to me and purchased two of these. What I really enjoyed that was not possible with other pillows was being able to use the "football hold" to BF. B/C of my body shape and other factors It was the only position I could nurse in and it just isnt possible with the others. Of course you can also "cradle hold" easily with this pillow as well. I love the clip and it was always easy to tighten to hold my LO in place. I always stored my phone in the pocket so that I could keep track of time on each side. Many times I have flown with it as my carry on and stored in the overhead bin without any complaints from airlines.
The Best Nursing Pillow!
May 16, 2017
Purchased this nursing pillow for myself several years ago and now I repurchase for every baby shower I attend. I owe my breastfeeding relationship to this pillow. I tried forever to make the "alternate brand of nursing pillow" work, but it did not support enough or bring the baby up high enough.Thank goodness for this pillow. I hope it helps every mother I gift these to as breastfeeding is so important!
Mother & baby approved.
March 10, 2017
My wife swears by these things. If you are a nursing mother, just get one, they are really good, she has tried a bunch of different options & some are better than others, but this one is the current best for a newborn baby. As the child gets older it will no longer be needed but for little babies, this is excellent & stress reducing.I have never been compensated for a review - good or bad, and never received any products for free, except for one unsolicited (and unwanted) item that I contacted the vendor for an RMA - they told me to donate it, so I did. This means that my reviews are my own genuine feedback & no one has biased them.
Best nursing pillow around!
October 8, 2016
I purchased this nursing pillow after using it at a lactation center with my first daughter. I was hesitant to spend the money when I had my 1st LO, since I had been given 3 Boppy nursing pillows....what a fool I was! When I got pregnant with my 2nd LO I knew I needed this pillow for my breastfeeding journey. The back support is amazing, the pillow is firm and keeps your LO's head high enough to reach, feels very secure when wearing with the belted clip and the fabric pouch is perfect for nipple cream. I actually remember to use my nipple cream consistently, since it's attached with my pillow. Also, it's easy to carry around through your arm once it's buckled. Can't stress enough, yes this pillow isn't as cute (fabric selections) and seems dorky belting on you, but get over it....it'll be such a blessing in breastfeeding.
Great design!
August 5, 2016
I really do love this nursing pillow. There's a lot to like about it.Pros:* I love that I can clip it around my waist, and then move around, without needing to awkwardly put it back on while while holding my baby.* It's adjustable* Comfortable* Very cute patterns* Great Design* The pocket it really handy* I mean, the name, who doesn't love it?Cons:* My baby grew very fast, he was very tall, so he was hanging his legs off the sides by the time he was 6 months old.* It is just a little pricey, but not too bad.All things considered, I love this pillow, and I'll be using it for our daughter when she gets here in November!:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::I hope you found this information useful. My Breastfeeding Staple Item
January 13, 2016
As a new nursing mom, this pillow is very much appreciated. It is sturdier and stays in place better than a boppy. I like the way it snaps around you to hold the pillow against your body so that you can completely relax the muscles that you sometimes strain when you can't quite find the right position with other pillows. The pocket on the side is genius because I always get thirsty when I'm breastfeeding and my lips are always dry for some reason, so I keep a bottle of water and lip balm in the pocket, that way they are always within reach. It's a hassle when you don't have someone helping to get you things and you start feeding the baby and your things are out of reach. Who has time to get yourself situated when you have a screaming baby? I would definitely recommend this pillow, as I have gotten more than my money's worth out of it.

I like this product a lot
August 28, 2017
I like this product a lot, easy to see the baby and the fabric is cotton so not too hot for me or the baby. The coverage is perfect, and I am a larger person (5' 9", 160 lbs) so it's nice and wide. Only downside is the neck is itchy so I had to wash it a few times, I think it's the stitching. Fine now though.
She really likes it
May 8, 2017
I purchased this as a gift for my niece she was so happy with it likes the color and shape. Won't be using it until our baby gets here.
Makes Breastfeeding in public much easier
February 1, 2017
I love this nursing cover. The wire at the top is a must so that i can make eye contact with my son and make sure everything is going smoothly. Breastfeeding in public is already stressful and this alleviates so much of that for us. Only downside is the price.
Definitely is great to have
September 3, 2016
Definitely is great to have. If it's positioned correctly, you can see your little one perfectly and watch them as you nurse. Sometimes, it's hard to position the opening to view the baby, but otherwise is great!

April 20, 2015
Love it. Tried a Nuroo scarf and this one was way more functional (and prettier). Only downside is it adds warmth soon the baby has to be undressed a little. Also, the fabric pens to collapse, so you may have to readjust the fabric constantly while nursing.
Great Rounded Neck for Viewing
November 10, 2014
I like the width of the cover and neckline. It is pricey for what you get but it looks cute and does its job. I've had several different brands but I like this rounded neckline the best.

Keeps Everything In Place
August 5, 2017
Works great and I love the adjustability of it - my other bra, while more comfortable and easier to put on, stretched out fairly quickly. The only thing is this one tends to be slightly uncomfortable, slides down a bit (like any strapless bra - I will mention though that it comes with straps, but I never put mine together) and can be a pain to adjust to the right size. But otherwise, it's pretty good and gets the job done while keeping everything snug in place!
I could not have been a working, pumping mom ...
July 13, 2017
I could not have been a working, pumping mom without this hands-free pumping bra. However, after 13 months of pumping, it has some wear and tear. The velcro on the back isn't sticking as well as it used to, and it scratches me while wearing it. For my next one, I will probably try a different pumping bra.
The design with the adjustable back is nice and so are the optional straps
June 18, 2017
The design with the adjustable back is nice and so are the optional straps. Also black is way better because white bras show yellowish milk stains that never come out make the bra look dingy. It's feels like higher quality materials that will hold up after many washes. The issue I have with it is that it's really hard to get the the flange/shield into the nipple holes especially if you have damaged or sensitive nipples. The thick material also makes it hard to massage the milk ducts if your the type that needs to empty the breast like me.
Great, but watch the Velcro...
April 15, 2017
This is perfect for working mother who needs a hands free holder to pump while at work. It's very adjustable too with Velcro to custom to your needed width, which is great since sometimes your can be a bit full and need more room. Only reason I didn't give it 5 starts it's that the Velcro can snag your nice work clothes and pull the fabric. I've ruined two shirts already. My advice is to take your shirt off completely, unless you are wearing something that doesn't snag on Velcro.
Agree with another reviewer- there appear to be different vendors selling this.
September 7, 2016
I've purchased two of these. One I got back in January of this year before the baby was born {edited to add- this first one came from Amazon directly}. It worked well for me- I liked the ease of adjustment with the Velcro panel, and my nursing systems fit easily with this. It was also easy care in the wash. Didn't have a single complaint Edited to correct my prior review: my second purchase of what I expected to be the same product appears to be a counterfeit - an inferior zipper, strange smelling fabric, and label does not say Simple Wishes. It came from neither Amazon, nor Simple Wishes, I didnt realize until recently when I re-reviewed the order. Please be sure to check who you are buying before adding the purchase to your cart! The actual Simple Wishes bra is a great item that will be your workhorse pumping help.I have verified on my Amazon account that both purchases were for the same product listing- but the second one came from a different seller- was neither Amazon, nor Simple Wishes. Next time I'll be more aware of who is selling the item.
Useful to have no doubt
June 28, 2016
Useful to have no doubt, but not a whole lot different for me than cutting holes in a sports bra. I still have to take off my shirt and put this on, although cool that the 1 piece flanges fit in them (that didn't work in my home made system). To Velcro the back alone and get it tight enough isn't a breeze, but if you Velcro before putting it on and try to zip it up it's also kind of difficult. Overall, if you're pumping, I'd say this is a useful purchase.

Compared to a boppy, which one to get
August 9, 2017
I give this 4 stars because I like it, don't love it, but I'm happy I have it and use it daily. I bought this to be used instead of my boppy because it wraps around offering more support, which it does. Sadly, the thing that makes it different than a boppy and something I use daily, is also something that frustrates me. When my baby is fussy and wants to eat, wrapping this around my waist and snapping it closed takes a bit of maneuvering and can get frustrating. Does it take long, not at all. Is it easy to do, absolutely. Am I being not picky, of course. But sometimes the baby and I are in positions that I wish the boppy were closer so I don't have to wrap it around, so I simply grab a pillow or suck it up and move my body. So that's my only negative and it's nothing against the product really, just an observation. Oh and unlike a boppy, its not as convienent to place the baby in the opening to sit, but thats ok. Things that make me come back to using it daily: One, when I know I'm going to feed my baby, I snap it on and I simply walk around like I have a pool floaty around my waist while holding the baby, changing him, or walking around getting my zone ready. Two, I like how firm (yet soft) it is. The baby has fallen asleep on it (while wrapped around me). Three, love that it wraps around and gives me back and arm support. With the boppy, I was leaning forward too much I found. Sadly, this could be a minor negative too if you want to lean back with it. Some minor maneuvering and it's all good. Four, love the pocket for my phone, remote, and pacifier. Easy to find and won't fall on the floor. Overall I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to friends. I'd probably still say get a boppy for all the things you can do with that.
So much better than boppy!
June 18, 2017
After hearing from many others online about this nursing pillow, I had it on my baby registry for my first baby. Of course someone purchased me a boppy pillow, but I hadn't received this. As soon as we got home from the hospital I got on amazon to order it and am so glad I did. It offers so much more support to both baby and me. I love that it sits the baby up much higher so I'm not slouched over while I feed him. I can spa nurse him without needing to hold him up, so I can eat or do other things with my hands while nursing. The only con I give this is that my cover, after a few washes and air drying, isn't holding up well and will have to be replaced soon. Otherwise it is super comfortable and I would highly recommend this to any new mom!
and that's worked pretty well against the seepage
June 10, 2017
This made nursing my newborn tons easier...but it is a limited time span you'll use it for. My only real hesitation with buying one again is that it's a fabric slipcover over a foam insert. Nothing to prevent milk leakage / baby spit up from soaking into the foam and sitting there. I ended up wrapping mine in plastic wrap, and that's worked pretty well against the seepage...but I get paranoid about baby's positioning! THere is a waterproof slip cover, but I didn't discover that until my baby was done using this.
This nursing pillow was great when baby was a newborn
April 12, 2017
This nursing pillow was great when baby was a newborn. I found that it held her up and supported her much better than the traditional boppy pillow. Nursing was a bit easier with this pillow. However, as she has gotten older, we have started using the boppy more. The one downside is that the cover is not waterproof. I would like to see My Brest Friend make a waterproof sleeve for it much like the boppy has that can be placed under the cover. You can purchase the waterproof cover but it's vinyl and isn't very soft.
Works well but not necessarily better than a crescent pillow
March 1, 2017
I have been using both My Brest Friend and a crescent shaped nursing pillow and both have their pros & cons. The biggest con of my Brest friend is that it kinda takes 2 hands to get on which is silly since one of my arms usually has a baby in it! That being said, the back support element is very nice so you don't need any extra pillows behind you. For that reason it's my go to travel pillow. It also gets a laugh if you dance around while wearing it - looks hilarious!
Your best friend for learning to breast feeding
February 3, 2017
I bought this pillow because the last time I breast fed, it was very unsuccessful for many reasons. Part of the reason was that it was hard trying to encourage my baby to latch with my hands while managing a regular boppy pilllow. With my second born, I wanted to succeed very much and after reading about this pillow, I knew it was what I was looking for.I brought it to the hospital when she was born and having that pillow helped a lot! it was firm so I didn't feel like she was sinking down lower while trying to encourage her to latch. The adjustable straps let me have her closer to me and not have to feel like an acrobate using my arms to hold her while using my hands to adjust her.My husband also enjoys using this pillow when he has the chance to bottle feed or even just hold her while hands free on the couch. If you are a beginning breastfeeder or have difficulties with a newborn, I would recommend this pillow! The only down side is that cover has been used for only 2months and is already ripping.

Better quality in the store

It does the job and looks nice, but the material isn't as thick as my last cover that I purchased at Babies R Us. Not really sure as to why because they are the same brand.

Decent cover for nursing in public.
May 1, 2016
Decent cover for nursing in public. However my little one hates to be under here so I mostly feed her in the car parked in a secluded spot
Clingy - not worth it.
February 25, 2014
This product has great reviews, but I'd rather use a wrap that has multiple uses than something that looks like an apron. I tried it on and it was clingy and annoying. Even putting it on one-handed seemed like a hassle because I had to adjust it anyway. Washing it may have solved this problem, but I didn't think this was necessary after all.
very bulky
October 24, 2011
the cover is too bulky, so to say. too much material, and it does not cover the sides, just the front. it is also very hot to use in summer, my baby would get really sweaty under this cover. the ring that goes around your neck is not "hard" enough and does not stay open for you to see the baby as you nurse. it keeps falling in

I really loved this better than cutting holes in a bra to ...
September 16, 2017
I really loved this better than cutting holes in a bra to use to pump like I did with my first child until after about a week after use where the velcro no longer stuck. I wish there were hooks or something to hold it in place (which i probably will just see on. Otherwise it is comfortable to wear, just wish they put a decent piece for the velcro to stick and not wear right away.
The fabric needs to be thicker
August 30, 2017
I have to wash/dry this after almost every use because the material stretches making it hard to get a good suction.I also have to squeeze/massage while pumping and the fabric is very thin, so very quickly the fabric started ripping and now I am left with holes on the top part of both of my bras. The ability to adjust the bra with vecro is great, but the flaps have started to twist a little on mine making the velcro rub against my skin.I was also hoping when I bought this that I could at least wear it around the house as a normal bra, but the flaps don't stay closed.Overall this bra works in that it gives me the ability to pump hands-free, but I think for the price it should be a much better quality fabric.
Almost the best thing ever
April 27, 2017
This bra was everything I ever wanted in a pumping bra until Day 3 when the velcro started coming unsewn and poking me in the back.As a mother of 3 who has pumped for 28 months with the first two kids using a medulla hands free bra, I'd still recommend this one over that one 100%!!
Made well but wasn't for me
August 6, 2016
Item supplied thru Amazon. The bra fit me well. However, it was a somewhat uncomfortable to wear because when my bottles would begin to get full and it would pull. Also, since the bra had to be firmly tight above the flaps in order to hold the bottles, sometimes the tightness would hinder my milk flow. The flaps were a good fit for my flanges. The bra itself is sturdy and hides everything well. I used it for a few days but once my bottles hit ~5 oz it didn't hold very well enough for me. I also had to change into this bra because I couldn't wear it all day. The point for this was for me to go straight into pumping without whipping my boobs out. But I'd have to go to the bathroom and change then pump then go back to the bathroom to change into a more supportive bra. Not ideal for a teacher with limited time during the day. Since changing into it became a little annoying for me, I ended up just using my regular nursing bras and leaning up against my desk for support if I needed to be hands free.
Good for hands-free pumping at home but not work
October 6, 2015
Simple Wishes Hands-Free Breastpump Bra, Pink, XS-LI bought this bra because I thought it would enable me to (i) keep my 34DD breasts in place comfortably under my formal business work clothes, (ii) quickly hook up to my breastpump, and (iii) pump while simultaneously continuing to type away at my work desk. The bra met goals (ii) and (iii) well but didn't meet goal (i). Although I could, as the bra advertised, adjust the band size on a whim, I didn't feel much support unless the bra was cinched very tight -- in effect, I felt like I was walking around with a unaboob in a compression style bandeau sports bra. Also, the openings for the breastpump flanges kept puckering such that you could see them under my blouses. After trying for a week to make it work, I eventually relegated this bra to home use, where it works okay and I don't worry that anyone can see the outlines of the bra under my clothes. As for work, I bought a nursing bra from Soma that, through sheer happenstance, allows me to pump hands-free (albeit it a bit precariously) because the cup fabric is stiff enough when folded half-way down to hold up the flanges/bottles.
Back and cup size is one thing, but better information is needed for the shield locations

This bra does provide the support that is needed to pump, but read on for why I am not giving 5 stars.I previously purchased the D*Lite version (which is slightly cheaper) without understanding the difference between this one and the D*Lite. I only figured it out (truly) based on a comment from Simple Wishes on someone's review.I am giving them 3 stars due to the sizing issues. According to their own packaging, I should be able to use the Dlite version with room to spare before needing the XL+ size. Same is also true for this version. The difference between the Dlite and this is that this version comes with an additional center panel (2" i believe). Their sizing is not accurate in my opinion. In order for me to use either of these, I need to have the velcro moved ALL the way out to the last point I can on the back, and then this doesn't even take into consideration where the holes are for the pumps shields. Without the center panel provided (aka the DLite), your nipples would be only 4 1/2 inches apart from each other. This doesn't lead to very comfortable pumping if you basically need to put a push up bra type concept into your pumping bra in order to get into the right position. If you are only pumping one side, it isn't as big of a deal. They do sell the center panel separately - not on amazon, but on their website - which was not easy to find the 1st time. Then the price of the shipping is the same as the center panel.

Nice concept, but...
September 21, 2017
The pillow is well made with firm foam and I like the side pocket very much, but I guess it's just not for me. The pillow provides relief to the arms but at the same time less flexible in other ways. I'd have to go fetch the pillow, put it on, then go grab the baby, trying not to knock over things along the way. It's one extra step in the preparation and with every minute wasted the LO cries a little harder, which makes it harder to latch on. The pillow is also too bulky for my armchairs so it limits where I can sit. When lying on the pillow the baby is a little too flat , which doesn't help the reflux problem. If I prop up her head then she would be too high relative to my breasts... In the end I just let my baby sit on my lap and hold her head in my arm. Perhaps I'll reconsider the pillow when she gets heavier.
Better than boppy but...
March 20, 2017
I definitely like the "serving tray" design of this pillow. It keeps my LO from rolling away from me so we can stay tummy to tummy. My biggest complaint is the "pillows" on it. Why are they there? Where they're located, it pushes my LO's head downward and he ends up pulling downward on my nipple as he's feeding. I fixed this problem by using it upside down, which works much better.
Received damaged cover
March 13, 2017
The cover had a rip in it that looked like someone half heartedly tried to repair. I contacted Amazon and they refunded 30% of the purchase price. A little annoying, but doesn't affect the functionality of the pillow. Overall, it's helpful to support baby while breastfeeding- but given that it's just a piece of foam with a very flimsy cover, I think it's overpriced.
Convenient but my LO doesn't seem to care for it
January 13, 2017
The jury is still out on this pillow for me. We also have a Boppy and I occasionally nurse on just a normal firm pillow as well. My chiropractor recommended the MBF, noting that it encourages better posture--which I certainly agree it does--I don't lean over while wearing it and my shoulders hurt less. BUT. That's not particularly helpful if my LO won't even feed on the pillow and for whatever reason, he seems a bit more resistant and fussy with this pillow. It is an amazing pillow if your child actually likes it though! Since it buckles to your torso, you can move the pillow around to aid with different holds so that you can do both football hold and cross cradle, which is really nice. Also nice because (assuming you're holding on to your baby carefully!) you can stand up while still wearing it.
Needs to be washable.
December 3, 2016
To be fair, the my brest friend is the best thing to ever happen to nursing. The buckle to hold it in place, the support. This is a MUST have for the first 2-3 months. However it has serious flaws. It is not washable! The fabric cover is so thin that it actually shredded in the wash. How can you have something for breast feeding that cannot be washed??? The foam inside is nothing more than a sponge. It will reek of spoiled milk and spit up. Not pleasant. I was not able to find a review that said to take the cover off and put it back in the original plastic with the fabric cover over. I was able to buy the better cover and that one was washable. It crinkled like a plastic bag, but it was cleanable. If they started making a breathable fabric cover that was waterproof and washable, this would easily be a 5 star item.
Great product, but fits awkwardly on XL mom.
June 27, 2016
I really like this product. The 3 star rating is because there aren't different sizing options. It says it is adjustable, but only to a point. The strap barely closes for me, and I am an XL. Also, for my size, the back support does not support my back at all, and is actually quite awkward. If it came in different sizes, and I ordered one for someone my size, this would be a solid 5 star product.I like that it straps around my waist - other pillows will drift away, especially when she falls asleep right after eating and I don't want to move her.The green paisley print is pretty, and the cover is very easy to remove wash.

Toasty Baby!
August 2, 2017
Very easy to use and maneuver with good coverage, however the material isn't very breathable! My baby gets overheated and sweaty very quick while under it. I find myself just taking it off more often than not because of how hot she gets.
It doesn't wash very well and I don't like how my back is exposed
December 7, 2016
Not a fan. It doesn't wash very well and I don't like how my back is exposed. The best thing about it is the stiff collar so I can have a constant view of my baby. I ended up purchasing a cover that goes all the way around me and is made of a softer fabric
Colors and opening are "off"
October 20, 2016
There was nothing really wrong with this cover, but the colors were not true to the picture, and the opening at the top did NOT stay open as it appears it will in the picture. I returned this.
Not for warm weather
May 27, 2016
I live in Hawaii and find this cover too warm to nurse in. The biggest issue though is that the material clings and I have a really hard time latching my baby, also have a hard time seeing baby despite the top curve.
Okay
October 26, 2015
Small. Great for a newborn, but as your baby gets older you will need more coverage. This cover is not quite long enough for a larger baby, especially when they start kicking and pulling at the cover.
Slightly Disappointed
August 24, 2011
I have to say that I am slightly disappointed. While I can se down through the open top of the cover, the material collapses between the top of the cover and my babies' face so I really cannot see him. I wish the material was either more stiff to prevent the collapse if material or boning is added vertically to prevent such collapse. I think I will try and make my own

It was pretty easy. They sent my replacement item before I ...
September 1, 2017
The first time I ordered one, the Velcro ripped away on the backing VERY quickly--within using it less than two weeks. HOWEVER, I filed for a return (ended up doing an exchange). It was pretty easy. They sent my replacement item before I sent out the damaged one. I don't know if this second one is made better, or if I am just more careful. Either way, it has not ripped and has made my life A LOT easier. What I like about this is the way the space where the flanges come out to connect with the bottles has a double layer, so it holds the bottle better than say- a sports bra with holes cut in. I like that it includes an extra front panel to zip in for wider chests. I wish the design was a regular hook-and-eye in the back, so I was less worried about it coming open/eventually ripping the Velcro. However, it is specifically designed this way so that it fits MANY different people (very adjustable). I am an exclusive pumper, so I spend over two hours a day in this thing! It does its job- just be careful with the Velcro.UPDATE- I had the same type of Velcro issue. When you’re pumping milk (aka liquid gold) you don’t want to be wearing something where you have to be careful not to turn the wrong way. If your milk apparatus falls, you lose the milk. This product just is not worth it to me. It is a bummer. If you’re going to spend money, I got the Medela bustier, which works wonders. I liked it so much I ordered a second to keep at work.

August 12, 2017
Great concept but it's too much of a hassle to put on that its almost not worth the convenience of hands free pumping. Especially coz I don't want it to touch my nipples in the process as they are very sore and I would like to keep them clean. I do not find myself reaching for them at all.
Not ideal for small breasts!
July 7, 2017
I loved the idea of pumping hands free but unfortunately this strapless bra isn't ideal for petite women who are small chested. The pump fit perfectly through the holes but I still had to hold them up to keep them in place and to me that defeats the purpose of this bra. It was a total waste of money to me. Even though it didn't work for me, perhaps it will work better for women who have larger breasts. For reference, I am 5'2", 120 lbs, 34A. The most I went up to was a 34B because I was breastfeeding and it still didn't help.

June 7, 2017
If you have a medela pump it's easy to place it but I have the avent and I can't put the pump through the holes. Also it presses the breasts towards the center and it's very uncomfortable!! I'm still trying to find a hands free pump bra.
I'm feeling pretty frustrated with this product
May 23, 2017
I'm feeling pretty frustrated with this product. I've been using this bra for less than seven weeks and the stitching on the back of the bra where the velcro attaches has already started to fall apart. I can still use the bra, however, it means that the hard plastic of the velcro backing stabs me in the back while I'm pumping. I was surprised, as a friend of mine had given me hers to use after she was done pumping, (the same bra), and it has held up fine. My friend's bra was manufactured a few years ago, so perhaps something changed in the manufacturing of this product since then? For the price, I was hoping it would at least get me through six months.
velcro wore off after 3 months of use
February 20, 2017
I really liked this pumping bra until recently. I have been using it for just 3-4 months, and only 2 of those months at work using it many times a day (first month only used it 1-2 times a day), and the velcro is completely useless. i just had to order a new one with a tie instead so the problem doesn't happen again. I like how supportive this bra is for pumping, but that support means nothing without the velcro working! I have adjusted it around, etc, to access other parts of the velcro strap, but i'm at the point where i have to sit back and not move or the bra completely falls off while i'm pumping. i thought this would last me longer...

Not for me...
September 10, 2017
I didn't care for this nursing pillow for a couple reasons. First the back support was really uncomfortable. If the support went higher on the back it may be more comfortable. Also, my zipper burst open in a spot and wouldn't zip back. There are two bumps on the pillow thatI think are designed to help elevate the baby's head. Great idea, but the bumps just didn't line up right for me. I had to twist the pillow around and then the "back support" was really out of place. Heh :/
Stick with the boppy
August 17, 2017
I decided to try this instead of the boppy. It's not for me. It's bulky and a pain to get off and on. The baby doesn't quite seem to fit on it right - like it's going to pitch her off the other side. It's also not versatile like the boppy for use with baby in the floor for tummy time, etc. And it's so bulky with the latch, etc that it just is an annoyance to travel around with.
Looks good but doesn't function well
June 1, 2017
I was really excited about this pillow but design is seriously flawed. I have been using this for six weeks now and the "back support" causes back aches for me. I thought I was sitting wrong or had it positioned wrong but after six weeks enough is enough, my back hurts too much and I have stopped using it. Additionally the buckle is a pain as you can't hold your baby and attach it so I have to put my son down to get the pillow buckled everytime I want to use it, which my baby does not approve of. Finally the flat design and back support back it impossible to angle the support for a baby with acid reflux. I gave it two stars because the quality appears well and perhaps others wouldn't find this design as impossible to use as I do. I am going back to using the boppy that I used with my first baby.
Not for me
April 25, 2017
I thought this was really uncomfortable. It barely fit around me and the "lumbar" support was just uncomfortable. It wasn't able to hold my baby up high enough feed, so it was completely useless to me and I sent it back for a refund. I can see how others would like this product, but it just isn't for me
Perfect design, low quality materials
March 28, 2017
Design gets five stars, execution/materials get one star. I love the shape and alignment that this pillow gives through all ages of nursing. I used newborn to 6 months and would consider longer if I didn't have to keep replacing it. I also wish they had a fully organic option (pillow and cover), for a more environmentally friendly and higher quality nursing pillow. The cover is thin and cheap, with a very worn look after just one washing and wrinkles badly. I can testify to different colors/patterns being the same type of cheap thin cotton fabric, although I can't speak for the delux cover. As for the cushion, I had to throw it away after six months. The cushion was soiled and unsanitary from soaking up spitup and two bouts of vomiting. It's literally a sponge like foam with no barrier between it and the thin cotton cover, impossible to spot clean after a dirty mess because it's absorbed into the pillow. I feel this is an essential design/material flaw, as babies spitup, leak pee, have blow outs, etc. that will simply be soaked up by the cushion.I tried the travel pillow, because I love the design so much and thought it would solve the "sponge" problem, which it did. The inflatable travel insert was great, just wiped it clean, but it got a hole in the seam with normal use in just three weeks, so I had to return it. The "patch kit" that comes with it was essentially scotch tape and didn't stick well or repair the hole.Pros: design and alignment for breastfeeding is unparalleled, good back support, improved my postureCons: low quality material, sponge like cushion with no waterproof barrier (should be a part of the design, not a separate waterproof cover for purchase), thin cheap cotton cover, cover doesn't wash well, doesn't last unless you want to keep something that's unsanitary
Not worth the hype.
May 23, 2016
I made the mistake of wasting money on this when I already had a great pillow. Other moms I know who've tried it have had similar problems I found with this, mostly it's uncomfortable! The pillow is not very thick, I was never able to use it without being hunched over badly. The back support piece is a nice idea, but I didn't benefit from it while having to lean over so much. Overall I've tried to use it a few times and it's ultimately lived the rest of its life stored away, unused.I recommend the Babe Au Lait nursing pillow instead!

Keep looking...
March 6, 2017
I found this breastfeeding cover to be more hassle than help. It has way too much fabric and I felt like it was overwhelming on my 5'9" 130# frame--it was extremely long. It was also a huge distraction to my 5 month old, who would pull at it and push it off to the side which left me exposed. The fabric was fine, not as thin as some reviewers mentioned. Also, not a ton of muted patterns or colors that I was hoping for--what about plain black or gray?? You could use a cooking apron, which is basically what this is. Not impressed. I'm still trying to find something to make nursing in public easy.
Not as described!
March 11, 2016
I would give this 0 stars if it were an option. Not at all as described. Was just a simple thin piece of cotton fabric and nothing else!
Not for petite
March 10, 2015
Returned this and bought another kind instead. I found this to be too big to be practical and it's easy to see through the sides.
Safety hazard
January 27, 2014
I used this cover for about 10 months, but not frequently (about 1-2 times per month). I cannot use it any longer because I had discovered that the wire that makes the semi-circle under the neck is sticking out of the cloth. Scary, thinking it could have poked somebody's eye out.
Nursing Cover in Chateau Silver
March 20, 2013
Pretty looking nursing cover. Does what it needs too. Not breathable at all. Also the plastic piece in the viewing area kept poking out on the side and cutting the fabric and scratching my skin.

I did not like this pumping bra at all
July 30, 2017
I did not like this pumping bra at all. First, the fit was terrible. Second, the material was so stiff and very uncomfortale to wear. Lastly, there was zero support. If you are a larger breasted woman, this is not the bra for you.
Broke within a week of receiving it
April 10, 2017
I liked the bra but the Velcro on one side unraveled within a week of using it. I paid extra for this bra for the quality and am very disappointed. I'd appreciate a replacement if possible.Edited to add: the Velcro unraveled on the replacement as well after 2 months. Not sure how this product gets such great reviews
Waste of money! Poor quality!
December 4, 2016
Poor quality! Zipper doesn't stay up and the holes stretch out too much to hold the Falange! Truer to return but sellernot responsive waste of money!
Poorly made, waste of time
September 19, 2016
VERY poorly made. This took a month to ship to me and then the zipper broke in less than a week.It does do the job, but the stitching looked like it was going to rip on the first wear. If you do end up buying, save the packaging. When the flimsy, poorly-made piece of garbage breaks, they will ask for a picture of the product next to the packaging when you ask for your money back. However, I sent them a photo and they still have not responded. It's probably better to just spend a few extra bucks at Motherhood Maternity.
NOT LONG LASTING
August 3, 2015
This is great for about two months of use until the velcro wears out. I got the Rumina cross over bra that works much better. That one I wear all day. This one didn't stay up easily and now is useless. I would not waste your money on this unless you hardly ever pump and then if that is the case this would work.
Waste of money
March 8, 2015
I used this item once and that was quite enough for my liking. It's so difficult to put this thing on in such a way that it doesn't slide off or crush your breasts. And then one it's on you have to still put the pump on. If you put the pump through the holes first and then try to put this bra on its next to impossible to find your nipples while wrestling the bra shut. Add to this that it's a fairly long bra so if you're sitting it rides up and if you're not leaning forward a bit the pumps will most likely leak instead of filling out those bottles. Waste of my money.

Really poor quality
October 10, 2017
I bought this to replace a much used, much loved nursing pillow from the local lactation consultant's shop. Unfortunately, this product is inferior in every way and is going back. The fabric cover is terrible. Scratchy, rough, and terrible quality, it irritates my skin, not to mention the baby's. The shape is unnatural and the back support just gets in the way. I knew within 10 seconds of trying it that it was not for me.
Buckle Broke - asked manufacturer for help but didn't get any yet.
July 19, 2017
Within 1 week of owning the Brest Friend Pillow, the white buckle broke so I cannot attach it around myself when breastfeeding. That makes it essentially worthless. I reached out by calling and emailing Zenoff for a replacement buckle part (probably worth like 50 cents) and have received no reply. If they can help me out, I'm happy to update my review. I've been waiting about 2 weeks. In terms of use, the pillow really provided me with value by helping me position my baby for easy breastfeeding.
Horrible product -- lowest quality. Falls apart immediately.
June 25, 2017
This product is of the lowest quality -- do not bother. I followed the wash before use instructions exactly as they were printed and the casing fell apart immediately and the zipper ruptured. I wasn't even able to use it once. I would like to ask for a full refund.
I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this item
April 8, 2017
I was initially so excited for this product but really regret buying it now. The pillow is very cheaply made. The foam interior is such a low quality. The cover is scratchy, it barely fits over the foam, and after one wash on the gentle cycle it is already coming apart at the seams! I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this item! I could have made a better version of this for half the money and trip to the craft store. Don't waste your money on this.
Odd
February 6, 2017
Thought I would have loved this pillow because of its design, fabric pattern and back cushion, but I hated it when I received it. First of all the fabric is rough, it feels like a 50 or less thread count fabric. Secondly, the curve is off, it doesn't have an even curve, you would have to twist your body to the left for the curve to align around your stomach. You would only be able to breastfeed from your left breast that also my trusting your abdomen to the left.
Stiff and awkward!
July 24, 2016
I already owned one and really liked it. So, I bought another one through Amazon. But this one is really different! It's smaller, stiffer, and feels awkward. I don't know if I got a defect, but I'm REALLY disappointed! I wanted to return it but couldn't because we brought it with us when we went on a family trip and didn't really have an alternative.
