Five Star Reviews: | 57% Five Stars Plus! November 24, 2016 This nursing scarf is the best! There is full coverage for mommas who prefer it and I love how it securely wraps around both baby and myself.I live in a cold climate and like how it keeps me warm while not overheating. It is really soft too!My favorite feature is that I can wear a cute scarf and not have to worry about lugging around a nursing cover on top of all the other necessary baby items.I am also happy that it was designed well - I will definitely be able to wear it for many years after nursing is over! Great nursing cover and fashion accessory! September 9, 2015 I offered it as a gift to my sister-in-law and she loves it! The material is soft and the colors are just as depicted. She wears it as a fashion accessory and finds it very useful for nursing at a friend's house or in public. Love it!!! August 10, 2015 I had a hard time with other covers in feeling comfortable using them in public but this one is large enough to cover both sides and its light in material for the baby to not get too hot. I love how convenient and modest it is to use. I would definitely buy more for friends. Stylish and effective. June 29, 2015 I bought this for my wife. The fabric is light and breathable and the baby doesn't seem to mind it. It's a far more stylish and convenient option for nursing in public, and works way better than the "neck apron" nursing covers she had tried. Stylish and Convenient June 27, 2015 I love this product! It makes needing a nursing cover for public both stylish and convenient! After receiving this scarf and trying it out with my very picky son (he does not like to have his head covered) I want to purchase it in more colors! It is lightweight and is easily transformed from stylish scarf to useful nursing cover. I would highly recommend this product to any during mamas out there! I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to all ... December 5, 2014 I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to all new moms. It was such a great help to make me feel more comfortable nursing in public when my little one and I still weren't perfect at it. The fabric is light and it's big enough to give us the privacy I was seeking. Once we had the whole thing figured out I stoppped using it. However I still carry it with me in my purse at all times just in case I end up nursing in a place where I feel the urge to cover up. | 73% Perfect Nursing Cover! July 20, 2017 Perfect nursing cover. Covers everything (which is important because I don't want anything showing, including my stomach!) and is still light and pretty airy.I looove the way it comes out on top so I can see my baby while I'm nursing - I can make sure he latches correctly and maintain the bonding. Plus I simply love the inner pockets because I stash my nursing pads in them while nursing and they stay clean and at hand, and the pockets being made of a terry cloth material has come in handy when I forget to pack burp cloths or my supply means extra drips! I love this cover July 13, 2017 I love this cover!!!! It's my second cover and it kicked the first ones butt. Baby is comfortable, I can see her, and she has plenty of room. The cloth corners are so helpful too! Worth every penny. Best nursing cover so far!❤️ July 4, 2017 You can tell this was created by a mother who thought of everything that a nursing cover needs in order to make it easier on a nursing mama.I love how big it is and how I can see my son while nursing and the sewed in terry cloths to wipe his mouth after feeds was a great idea.Love love love my nursing cover Great but go with Muslin material if in warm climate! June 12, 2017 Sort of light weight but tried a friends made of the Muslin material and it was so much cooler in a warm climate!!! So if summer or spring, I'd recommend the Muslin one. This one is nicely made and good quality! I love that you can see baby with D ring opening! That's a major plus! Great Cover! March 15, 2016 Love this cover better than some other brands as it has more coverage and has these awesome bottom corners that have a little pocket made from towel like material. It's perfect if you forget a burp cloth or just need a quick wipe. Love the little pocket too as its just big enough for a pacifier or a nipple shield in a case so you can be discreet about things if desired. This cover folds up easily and compactly. Found the opening at the top to be better than others and allowed great viewing access of babg Breathable and stylish nursing cover July 21, 2015 My daughter introduced me to the Bebe au Lait Nursing Cover, so I bought this for a very good friend of mine, who just had a baby and she loves it! They both agree that it is very light and when the baby is covered there is a nice gap on top so mom and baby can look at each other and baby can easily breath. I would highly recommend this to nursing mothers! |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% It's good for the price June 16, 2016 I ordered this nursing scarf to use when breastfeeding my newborn (obviously...). I think the design is cute and the material is nice. The material is not stretchy and the design is only printed on one side of the material, however. I feel that this will make it less likely for me to wear it as a scarf in the fall/winter. It is easy to use and covers what I need it to cover with a lot of space for my baby to still move and breath under. I think for the price in comparison to other nursing scarves I looked at, this one does the job it is supposed to do. However, if you don't have a limit to your budget, I would splurge on something a little more quality for more money. Overall, I like the product. Love this cover April 23, 2015 Love this cover, it's thin and breathable and washes well. It is something I could definitely made myself though, so I won't be buying more. If you don't have time to make your own, though it is great. Great Gift April 15, 2015 Wonderful gift for any expecting (breastfeeding) mother. Fabic covers everything, and is thin enough for spring/summer babies. But not too thin to be see thru. Overall, nice product with a couple of drawbacks February 22, 2015 This nursing scarf is fashionable and lightweight. It provides excellent coverage, falling well below my waist comfortably on both sides when nursing. Overall, I would recommend the product. However, it is not quite as easy to fold into an infinity scarf as the youtube video would have you believe. It takes a lot of getting used to. Additionally, it can be quite difficult to maneuver baby to nurse under the scarf; my son has a tongue tie, so I have to reposition him a lot, and it is a little difficult with the scarf. Finally, although the scarf fabric is lightweight, it is probably not a good option during hot months. I live in New Orleans, and we've had a warm winter; I've been fine wearing the scarf during the winter months, but I doubt I could nurse with this during the summer here. Love the product - here are my pros and cons December 11, 2014 Pros and cons for the hold me close nursing scarf -Pro: I love the fabric, thin but not sheer, soft, and color is as shown in picture. It also covers your back while using as a nursing cover, huge deal for me since some shirts just won't stay down in the back. I feel covered but not hot.Cons: only one con for me- it may take some practice getting baby in and out of cover without exposing yourself. I find this part to be a little more difficult than traditional covers.I haven't used mine as a scarf yet but I have tried it on and it is cute and not bulky! I found it really easy to use October 30, 2014 Cloth was soft and lightweight. I found it really easy to use. I've breastfed using this numerous times and have been comfortable using it. Covers me up well. I can easily look at my baby when I want to using this as a cover. I've used other covers with my first child but this is my favorite so far. The other covers somehow felt awkward. This did not feel awkward, was very easy to use even with just one hand. My newborn is only 4 weeks old but he is pretty big. Only thing I cannot answer is if it will hold up well over time. I have used it and washed it several times and so far, it has held up well. | 16% I like this product a lot August 28, 2017 I like this product a lot, easy to see the baby and the fabric is cotton so not too hot for me or the baby. The coverage is perfect, and I am a larger person (5' 9", 160 lbs) so it's nice and wide. Only downside is the neck is itchy so I had to wash it a few times, I think it's the stitching. Fine now though. She really likes it May 8, 2017 I purchased this as a gift for my niece she was so happy with it likes the color and shape. Won't be using it until our baby gets here. Makes Breastfeeding in public much easier February 1, 2017 I love this nursing cover. The wire at the top is a must so that i can make eye contact with my son and make sure everything is going smoothly. Breastfeeding in public is already stressful and this alleviates so much of that for us. Only downside is the price. Definitely is great to have September 3, 2016 Definitely is great to have. If it's positioned correctly, you can see your little one perfectly and watch them as you nurse. Sometimes, it's hard to position the opening to view the baby, but otherwise is great! Love it. Tried a Nuroo scarf and this one ... April 20, 2015 Love it. Tried a Nuroo scarf and this one was way more functional (and prettier). Only downside is it adds warmth soon the baby has to be undressed a little. Also, the fabric pens to collapse, so you may have to readjust the fabric constantly while nursing. Great Rounded Neck for Viewing November 10, 2014 I like the width of the cover and neckline. It is pricey for what you get but it looks cute and does its job. I've had several different brands but I like this rounded neckline the best. |
Three Star Reviews: | 15% It's harder to nurse in than it looks like in the pictures December 15, 2015 It's harder to nurse in than it looks like in the pictures. I end up pulling the whole thing around the baby and over my head to get him latched on and then pulling it down so it's just covering him. But now that he's older, he always pushes it aside so he can see. So I might as well not use any cover at all. The traditional nursing cover design with the flexible neck hole work better. They don't cover your back, but I'm fine with that as long as I'm wearing a nursing tank. I felt like I was still exposing myself when trying to finagle ... December 14, 2015 It was difficult to use. I felt like I was still exposing myself when trying to finagle a baby and keep everything covered. The smock/bib type covers were much easier for me to use. Its okay August 17, 2015 Kind of a thicker material, too hot for summerHard to see when you are getting the baby latched. But I dont think anyone else saw either, so it works Not worth the price. But a nice gift for new mom July 6, 2015 It's just a giant lightweight rectangle sewed in half. After receiving it I realized I could have sewed one for much less. However, I do like the concept of it and will probably make a bunch at home to have on hand for multiple outfits. Simple make sure you are this size June 17, 2015 Nothing fancy. I do feel it is a little more shear then I would like it to be. I think if I were to reorder this I would just get a black one. Also don't get this size unless you are plus size. I wear XL in regular clothes and this is way too big on me, and won't stay up during feeding. Works great as a coverup but not very functional as a ... October 4, 2014 Works great as a coverup but not very functional as a scarf. I felt like it was choking me when wearing as a scarf. Material is very light so was great on these hot days | 6% Used item January 19, 2017 I thought it was great until I noticed it was stained and some of the string was off. Really disappointed Better quality in the store August 29, 2016 It does the job and looks nice, but the material isn't as thick as my last cover that I purchased at Babies R Us. Not really sure as to why because they are the same brand. Decent cover for nursing in public. May 1, 2016 Decent cover for nursing in public. However my little one hates to be under here so I mostly feed her in the car parked in a secluded spot Clingy - not worth it. February 25, 2014 This product has great reviews, but I'd rather use a wrap that has multiple uses than something that looks like an apron. I tried it on and it was clingy and annoying. Even putting it on one-handed seemed like a hassle because I had to adjust it anyway. Washing it may have solved this problem, but I didn't think this was necessary after all. very bulky October 24, 2011 the cover is too bulky, so to say. too much material, and it does not cover the sides, just the front. it is also very hot to use in summer, my baby would get really sweaty under this cover. the ring that goes around your neck is not "hard" enough and does not stay open for you to see the baby as you nurse. it keeps falling in |
Two Star Reviews: | 11% Would recommend a thin blanket versus this scarf September 21, 2015 Received on time and well packaged. When I opened it, it smelled like a fish market. I literally started gagging. I have no clue why it smelled like that, but it went straight into the wash. The design I ordered was the gray colored one. This nursing scarf is not one blanket like piece. This scarf is an infinity scarf and although my baby hasn't arrived, I'm not a first time mom and I foresee the baby fighting me. A large muslin type blanket would have been more practical. Hopefully this baby won't mind, but no baby likes something so thick and restricting, which this is. Like the Idea Just Wish it was Bigger January 23, 2015 I bought this nursing with the sole purpose of nursing my daughter. Its just not big enough for me to put my newborn in as well as myself. I would make it bigger so that there is room for myself and the baby. I wear a size 14 and my baby was about 7 lbs. Wanted to like it. January 18, 2015 I was really looking forward to using this as it seemed fashionable and lighter than other covers. I'm not sure why but the scarf I received wasn't nearly as big as the one pictured. I wasn't able to nurse comfortably under it as my girl didn't fit well. It works great as an infinity scarf but not so well as a nursing cover for me. Disappointed December 28, 2014 I can't believe I spent $25 on this. It's a loop of unfinished fabric. This can easily be made with little skill and a sewing machine for about $5. For $25 I expect a clean hemmed edge and double sided, not just quickly serged edge that's single sided. Two stars is being generous. Not for $25... November 17, 2014 The material is fine, the print is cute, but for $25 I could not justify this purchase. The edges aren't finished (disclaimer: once the product is washed, the knit rolls on the edges to give it a "finished" appearance). It's a one-sided material, too, so if the backside shows when wearing it as a scarf, it looks cheap. I returned this product and bought fabric at Joann's for $10 and made a double sided scarf on my own...and I am by no means a seamstress, but I could do the same quality (or better) on my own. Not what it seems.... November 8, 2014 This is my 5th baby and I have experience nursing. This cover was NOT easy to use. It appears to be much larger than it is. It doesn't cover you the way the picture has shown. It didn't work out at all for me and I returned it after trying to use it a few times.... Definitely not for nursing a newborn in public because you cannot see your baby at all..... | 3% Toasty Baby! August 2, 2017 Very easy to use and maneuver with good coverage, however the material isn't very breathable! My baby gets overheated and sweaty very quick while under it. I find myself just taking it off more often than not because of how hot she gets. It doesn't wash very well and I don't like how my back is exposed December 7, 2016 Not a fan. It doesn't wash very well and I don't like how my back is exposed. The best thing about it is the stiff collar so I can have a constant view of my baby. I ended up purchasing a cover that goes all the way around me and is made of a softer fabric Colors and opening are "off" October 20, 2016 There was nothing really wrong with this cover, but the colors were not true to the picture, and the opening at the top did NOT stay open as it appears it will in the picture. I returned this. Not for warm weather May 27, 2016 I live in Hawaii and find this cover too warm to nurse in. The biggest issue though is that the material clings and I have a really hard time latching my baby, also have a hard time seeing baby despite the top curve. Okay October 26, 2015 Small. Great for a newborn, but as your baby gets older you will need more coverage. This cover is not quite long enough for a larger baby, especially when they start kicking and pulling at the cover. Slightly Disappointed August 24, 2011 I have to say that I am slightly disappointed. While I can se down through the open top of the cover, the material collapses between the top of the cover and my babies' face so I really cannot see him. I wish the material was either more stiff to prevent the collapse if material or boning is added vertically to prevent such collapse. I think I will try and make my own |
One Star Reviews: | 5% Very inconvenient. When both hands are needed to nurse ... March 19, 2016 Very inconvenient. When both hands are needed to nurse, there's no way to stay covered and be able to see what you and your baby are doing. Will only be wearing this as a scarf. Ordered a basic nursing cover. One that you can look down at your baby and still use both hands to nurse. It's just a piece of fabric - seems like it's way over priced October 19, 2015 It's just a piece of fabric - seems like it's way over priced. I ended up returning it. What actually worked a lot better was me using a long skirt with the waist band at the top. I bought this item, opened it up and quickly ... January 31, 2015 I bought this item, opened it up and quickly decided to return. Do not spend your money on this product. Buy a piece of fabric, cut it into a rectangle measuring about 5 or six feet in length and about 2 or 3 feet in width and then sew it together to make an infinity scarf. That's what you're getting. Although the prints of the fabrics seem cute, it's really not worth it. surprised at how poor quality it was. January 4, 2015 I was actually sad upon opening the box. I could have made this myself out of a yard of fabric. It is cheaply cut and not hemmed at all so it will not withstand washing well at all. I expected a bit better quality. This is going back :( Not worth price October 15, 2014 Would be cheaper and nicer to buy fabric and sew a straight line. Nothing fancy and I really wanted to love it. | 2% Keep looking... March 6, 2017 I found this breastfeeding cover to be more hassle than help. It has way too much fabric and I felt like it was overwhelming on my 5'9" 130# frame--it was extremely long. It was also a huge distraction to my 5 month old, who would pull at it and push it off to the side which left me exposed. The fabric was fine, not as thin as some reviewers mentioned. Also, not a ton of muted patterns or colors that I was hoping for--what about plain black or gray?? You could use a cooking apron, which is basically what this is. Not impressed. I'm still trying to find something to make nursing in public easy. Not as described! March 11, 2016 I would give this 0 stars if it were an option. Not at all as described. Was just a simple thin piece of cotton fabric and nothing else! Not for petite March 10, 2015 Returned this and bought another kind instead. I found this to be too big to be practical and it's easy to see through the sides. Safety hazard January 27, 2014 I used this cover for about 10 months, but not frequently (about 1-2 times per month). I cannot use it any longer because I had discovered that the wire that makes the semi-circle under the neck is sticking out of the cloth. Scary, thinking it could have poked somebody's eye out. Nursing Cover in Chateau Silver March 20, 2013 Pretty looking nursing cover. Does what it needs too. Not breathable at all. Also the plastic piece in the viewing area kept poking out on the side and cutting the fabric and scratching my skin. the cloth is thin and not good quality. not worth the money January 27, 2013 the cloth is thin and not good quality. not worth the money. i was hoping something much better with this price |
