I've used Stanley tools my whole life and I've never been disappointed with the quality and durability
June 2, 2017
I've owned Leatherman and Gerbers. I've used Stanley tools my whole life and I've never been disappointed with the quality and durability. While some may downgrade this tool in favor of the more expensive brands, what do you actually use it for other than to sub for the proper tool in doing any kind of job? I've also lost my Leathermans and Gerbers, so at this price, if I lose it, I'm only out $10. Great tool for a great price. I call 5 stars on this one.
Has everything i need and than some
March 13, 2017
I have been looking for cost friendly and efficient products for my bug out bag. I have checked out the big box stores and other online retailers for similar products. What I found was they charge double or more for the same thing. The others may hae far superior quality but this is not a tool I will use everyday. Nor will I put it thru terribly hard times. It's incase of emergency. My only issue is that the loop on the holder cannot be opened so as to attach to my molle pack. Not a necessity just a luxury.
great multi tool especially for the price
November 26, 2016
I bought one of these for my son. I actually have a Leatherman myself, but like this one almost as much. It is actually a great value. My son loves to carry it on his belt, so we end up using it a lot just because it is there and available. For the price you can't beat it. It feels pretty sturdy. Not as smooth in operation as the Leatherman Wave but just as functional so far. I bought several more for friends.
Put one in your bag, in your car, and in that drawer for "stuff" in your kitchen.
October 31, 2015
I put together emergency kits for friends and family and when I came across this item I was immediately able to take a half dozen other items out of the kit saving money and space. It is listed as a 12-in-1 multi tool but really there is so much more you can do with it. I include one of these now in all my kits and I have one in my car and the car my wife uses. A great number of tools for a great price. And with Amazon Prime it was dropped at my door just a couple days after I made the purchase. The Stanley multi tool is very well built and sturdy. I trust that these will last many, many years and I recommend that everyone have one of these in the bottom of their bag, in their car, or in the drawer of your kitchen where "stuff" is placed that you know you'll need from time to time.
Well made, can open/close and use pliers with one hand.
February 26, 2015
So far it looks and feels well made. The weight and size is convenient for pocket or belt carry. The belt pouch is set up in a way that lets the top hang out away from your body too much for my taste. So it can catch on things pretty easy, however this is something I've noticed about may belt pouches of various qualities so it's hard to blame this particular product. The pouch is well made, I didn't really expect that so as long as the belt loop doesn't rip like many I've used, it should hold up well. The small tools did require me to open the large tool first to open them up, at least the first time. Now they open just fine. They do require some grip and if someone is weak or lacking in grip, they may have trouble, at lest at first till they break it in.I can open everything and close everything with one hand if I use my leg or torso, so if you're injured while camping or something, this tool could probably still be used. Same thing if you have to hold something with your other hand. The pliers don't have a spring, but hold open well enough for one handed use.I was worried about the skeletal design, I had a pocket knife with a similar design and cut myself a few times with it just by reaching in to pull it out of my pocket. This one however has smaller holes and I can't get enough of my finger in there to get cut. I can feel the teeth of the saw blade but not enough to worry about. I probably won't carry this in my pocket often, but if I have any problems with it, I'll update this.I would buy this again and probably will by a couple more, one to keep in the car and one for my wife.
Great Beater Multitool
August 2, 2013
This multitool is a great option for use in places where you may not want to bring your $50+ dollar Leatherman Supertool. That being said, don't expect the same quality that would come with the mid level SOG, Gerber, or Leatherman offerings. This tool does excel however as an alternative for camping, the truck toolbox, or even a bug out bag. In any of these roles the Stanley 12 in 1 will do the job and the best part, if you loose it in the woods or don't use it more than a few times a year you won't kick yourself for spending a ton of money on it.The tool itself isn't anything to sneer at either the handles are ergonomic enough for most jobs, and the tool itself is stout enough that it doesn't feel like its about to bend when you put the pliers to a decent amount of use. THe tools themselves are pretty run of the mill as far as multitools go but the saw and knife are relatively sharp, as are the wire cutters. Everything else works on it as advertised. The nylon sheath isn't bad for the price either, the snap holds very securely. Hell worst case it has a Stanley life time warranty!Altogether, if you are someone who uses a multitool everyday whether it be for work or play this probably isn't the tool for you, but if you want a cheap sub for your prized multitool that you won't miss if its lost or neglected this is the best option for the price.

Compact little gem
June 10, 2017
We've always had a portable battery-powered radio to use when our area is living up to its moniker of "tornado alley," and are often sick of finding the batteries in terrible shape when it's needed. This little gem is really compact and doesn't use batteries at all. You still have good ways to keep it charged up, though, and, with the crank we should be fine regardless. And it takes the place of one of the flashlights we need there (that also would normally need batteries at inconvenient times). We sure are not techno-phobes (or even -savvy) but feel like this is just what we need!

October 27, 2016
Very nice emergency radio. Stations come in clear, the battery last for a long time and is very easy to charge with the hand crank or the solar. I just left mine out in the sun all day while I wasn't using it and the battery hasn't died since with quite a bit of radio use. The LED light is a nice addition. This is something you don't want to be without in an emergency.I'm not one of those guys that buys a bunch of gear and hides it away in a closet. I like to use my stuff no matter what it is so I've put quite a few hours on this radio. It's fallen off my desk at least twice and regularly gets thrown around the office and still works perfectly.I'm not selling this thing but for $20 there's really no excuse not to get one.
Don't get left in the dark!
June 27, 2016
YES....WOW! I have been amazed by this compact but powerful solar, hand crank combination radio, and flashlight. It has a solid feel to the crank action. and a few minutes of cranking gives you a lot of radio. Here in Tornado Alley in Kansas, having a weather radio when the sky turns green is not just a necessity but can truly save your life. Do you have power outages where you are? Could you use a light that never goes out? Camping? A great addition for the light it puts out. I like this tool. I am sure anyone ever having to deal with loss of power, trying to find your pocket knife while camping, or concerned about the weather will love this Emergency light and radio. And you can just set it in the sun to charge it up for that stormy day! It comes with all the sturdy connectors and plugs you will need. Worth more than the price.
Does the job above and beyond
March 31, 2016
When I received this, I played with it right away. I used the hand crank to charge it for a few minutes, then tested the flash light and radio. The flash light is nice and bright. It's extremely easy to tune to several of our local stations and the NOAA station, there is no static and everything is clear. I used my computer to fully charge it, then put it in a bag with the phone adapter pieces and put it in our tornado closet. It seems to be made of sturdy material. We liked it so much that we purchased a second one for my husband to use on his fishing boat, since it's also solar powered.
Little Gem
March 17, 2016
Received mine a few days ago. When I opened the package I was surprised by the sturdiness of it. My expectations were low despite the good reviews. I like the skin it has on it to help with having a better grip and the lanyard helps with accidental drops. The crank seem sturdy enough to last many cranks, but I haven't used it too much do to the solar charging. The sound is great from such a small speaker. Clear and crisp for a radio trying to pick up radio waves. It doesn't get too loud but loud enough for a small area for you and some friends while camping.Overall I'm pretty satisfied and bit surprised at the quality. This is a great buy for what you pay.
Great little emergency radio!
December 9, 2015
I bought this primarily for use when the power goes out / during severe weather events / etc. I just received the unit a few days ago, but so far I am very impressed. In particular, I am pleased of how many different ways this unit can be charged... Through USB, hand crank, and even solar. The flashlight is a nice addition, too. It is not incredibly bright, but it does the job. To be fair, though, I didn't purchase this unit for the flashlight. In my opinion, it's a bonus, and a pretty decent one at that. I haven't had a chance to use the cell phone charger aspect of the unit, but again, it's nice to have another way to get that little power boost you might need in an emergency.Overall, I am very impressed by the reception I get with this radio and the overall functionality of the unit! I am considering ordering a second for my car because it's such a great deal for the price & would be immensely useful in an emergency situation.

Great little cheap plier tool for our bugout bags.
September 24, 2017
We got these to put in all of our evacuation bags. Not as nice as a gerber for everyday use, but certainly has enough functionality to be very useful if we have to go somewhere fast. I didn't give it a 5 star primarily because of the plier design which folds the tools out of the outside of the handles (same as a leatherman). I prefer the gerber design where they fold out of the inside of the handles because it's easier on your hands when using them as pliers.
Got this for camping tool
May 8, 2017
I bought one and it's ok but the can opener is not very good, cutting part outside should be inside . Blade is sharp other tools seem ok. It has a nice carry pouch . If can opener worked better would be perfect .Stanley should do better they have good products .
Good for what it is, just a little too heavy for me
March 19, 2017
Good stuff, just not what I needed. This is the first multi-tool I've bought so I really didn't know what to expect. I returned it and they charged me for shipping so that's not cool but oh well. Its just a little to heavy for what I needed it for: ultra-light backpacking. If you don't mind the weight, its a great product for the price
Great little tool to have on hand
March 17, 2017
bought this for utility drawer to have something on hand for those hundreds of times you need that one tool on hand and so you don't have to go drag out your tools to do one little thing. Has paid for itself multiple times already. It's not the super high quality in terms of how I normally think of Stanley tools, but I bought it cheap and I'm not doing anything heavy duty so it more than serves its purpose. I'm happy with it
Great Value Multi-Tool
August 3, 2015
For $12, you shouldn't expect a Leatherman, and this is no Leatherman. But it is more than I would have expected for $12. I needed a tool for a business trip, something I could ship ahead for cheap since I couldn't carry it on the plane, and I wasn't checking bags. For $12, I could afford to lose or break it, if necessary. The build quality overall is very good. The joints are a bit loose, but the tool is well made. Opened up for using the pliers, it's comfortable in the hand. It's decent sized, so you can get some leverage. The knife is nice and sharp, as is the saw blade. The screwdriver tips are good quality as well. Closed up, things don't line up as precisely as a more expensive multi-tool, but again, for $12, who needs to complain. I don't know if it would last like some more expensive tools, but if you wanted a couple to throw in a toolbox, tackle box, truck, car, RV, etc. for quick repairs, this would do you just fine. I've had other multi tools in this price range, and many of them weren't worth the price. This one is a good value.
Not so painful if you loose or break this one.
July 15, 2015
A very good multitool for the price.I have a few around the house and in my cars/trucks and don't feel very bad if/when they get lost since they're fairly inexpensive. It's available under a few different brand names too, so I'd still recommend it if anyone happens to see this one from a different company. I used to have a few under the Winchester brand a while back, and I've seen these under some oddball Chinese names too. My guess is that they're probably made in the same factory.

A good budget emergency item.
September 21, 2017
Not super powerful but effective and a good budget choice for light emergency use, plus it is very light weight which makes it nice and portable and easy to grab quick.. I definitely feel better having it in the house and the little crank flashlight definitely works. I keep this mostly for peace of mind. Better to have a little easy back up than nothing at all. I leave it charging in an easy to grab location and check it periodically. I live in an earthquake area and it would definitely come in handy if I ever needed to get by on bar bones for a little bit. Tested the radio which was not super powerful but added a long piece of aluminum foil to the antenna and voila greatly expanded reception so should def be able to get any emergency broadcast updates if g*d forbid that is ever necessary and have a little light on hand no matter the conditions and a litte light is certainly better than no light if it ever comes to it.
Hey...it's good
April 13, 2017
Cranked for 5 minutes and got 1% of my battery charged on my phone. That's roughly 5 minutes, maybe a little more. Even after cranking to charge the phone, the power bank will need a recharge.Flashlight is bright & radio is decent.I have not tried the solar yet, but the instructions say it takes longer that way, so I'm (guessing) it's best when you are busy or you just want to hear the radio or redirect light the flashlight in into a dark area where light is sparse. Not sure.Instructions are a bit vague and should indicate that you will most likely need your phone charger cord that has a USB on one end.If you store it, take it out every 30-60 days and crank it for 3-5 minutes-especially if you keep it in a car; as cold weather will drain the battery quicker.Assuming the battery bank's holds up function-wise, it's a solid buy.Just make sure you have a clear understanding on how to maintain these type of battery banks.
Satisfied
March 17, 2017
The purchase of this product was an immediate response to a blackout of my neighborhood for 26 hours.I perused Amazon until I found whay I believed to be the perfect answer. It's smaller than I envisioned but packs a mighty punch. The first thing I tried was the flashlight. I cranked for about 30 seconds and let it rip. The light is surprisingly bright.I then plugged my android phone into the charging area and verified it was charging. There are several attachments included. My only issue which is minor is that I cannot for the life of me, get the little rubber piece to go back in after I apparently pulled too hard and it came off. I am pleased with my purchase
Good enough for what it is, though I did not do much testing of the product
December 21, 2016
I don't have a lot to say about the product. I gave it as a gift, but when I tested what I could everything seemed to work. The radio worked, the light worked (thought a little dim) It came charged (at least in part) so that might account for the dim light and it came will all the advertised parts. Its compact and if for some reason it craps out, well I'm only out $20.Good for a friends sister who has almost no preparedness items, and relies mostly on her smart phone and good luck to get by.
Money well spent! Does not require batteries and has a light too!
October 25, 2016
I purchased this to put in my "emergency" kit. Recently when hurricane Matthew came through and knocked trees down on the power lines, we were without power for 4 days and I didn't have a radio to hear what the progress was pertaining to the storm and repairs to the roads and power lines. I liked that it doesn't require batteries! I put it in my kit and I'm well prepared for next time, or I can take it to the beach or on a fishing trip and don't have to worry about keeping batteries in it. I also like that it has a light, that will come in handy too!
Just what I was looking for.
January 25, 2016
I've not used this much since receiving it, but first impressions are satisfactory. It's intended purpose was as an emergency radio for car, cabin, camping and home. The size is quite small, smaller than I expected. It has FM, AM and a weather band. I first tried it in an area known for poor radio reception. It did surprisingly well. The sound, though a bit tinny, as you'd expect of a small, cheap radio, was satisfactory. The led light feature is bright and a handy aspect. It does double duty in the survival/emergency kit. Hard to tell how well it will hold up under regular use, but I like it and think it will fit my needs nicely.

For Emergencies Only
June 3, 2017
OK. Great to put in your car for emergencies. Every day use, not so much. Attachments do not lock well in place making bigger jobs frustrating. That said, very solidly made product.
OK, but meh
March 9, 2017
As long as you realize this isn't a $100+ Leatherman or a fancy Gerber multi-tool you'll be satisfied. Useful to keep in your car or in a backpack, but this lightweight item won't be a substitute for real tools in any DYI projects at home.
If I was looking for a good multi-tool, I'd by a Leatherman
March 3, 2017
Just bought it to throw in the car. If I was looking for a good multi-tool, I'd by a Leatherman. I'm not sure where the bottle opener is though. There is can opener but no bottle opener. Someone comment if you see one in the picture. Don't get me wrong, I got my beer open with it but definitely not a dedicated bottle opener on the thing
The bad: Phillip head is too small for most applications
February 3, 2017
Stainless CR2 steel according to the stamp on the pliers. Was told that's the Chinese equivalent to 200 grade stainless steel. The bad: Phillip head is too small for most applications. There is a can opener but no bottle opener. The can opener will not open a beer bottle. The small blade is very wide agled and more of an awl blade. The wire cutters feel very blunt,, but will cut individual copper strands on romex. I was able to strip the indivisual sheeting on romex with them as well. For the price ($8 and change at the time I purchased it) it will let you do electrical wiring in a pinch.Blade main is pretty sharp from factory. Will cut boxes. Files are good enough for filing down nails. Have not tried filing metal or wood with it. Fine file on one side bastard on the other.
Pretty good, except tools are hard to deply.
June 7, 2016
For the price, I'm happy with it. I mean, this is not an expensive, high quality multi-tool. But it turns out to be better quality than I expected. The problem I have is that the tools are quite difficult to deploy. Not just stiff but inconveniently designed. You need relatively long, hard fingernails to get at them. I often have to make several attempts and have actually have chipped my nails a couple times. I told my wife that I needed a tool to get at my multi-tools! I have a few cheaper multi-tools to compare this Stanley to and it's a surprisingly poor design. So, if you are looking for an inexpensive multi-tool that you don't mind losing or breaking- this one is actually pretty good. Just make sure your finger nails are nice and strong!
If you're planning on using this more than a few times, skip them.
January 1, 2016
For the price, you get what you pay for. Fine for emergencies, but consider these one-time use. After using them for more than 15 minutes you'll wish you had a better tool. No safety locking for the tool you're using, quickly dulling knife, and sometimes sticking plier mechanism is enough for me to retire this to the spare toolbox, or the trunk of my car.Bottom line: If you're planning on using this more than a few times, skip them. If you want something to throw in a bag for emergencies, this will do just fine.

Will NOT charge modern/smart phones. Unlikely to charge ANY phones.
August 12, 2016
An okay radio, flashlight, etc. Will absolutely NOT charge a smartphone, regardless of what some reviews say! It actually may, as it did in two of my cell phones, DRAW POWER AWAY from your phone, rather than put power INTO it!Best feature: crank-ability. You can crank it for a few mins for a few mins of use.
Pass on it unless you just want a $20 radio and flashlight. Will not charge a smart phone.
July 6, 2016
The radio and hand crank flashlight work fine but this will NOT charge your smart phone. It would charge your nokia flip phone and maybe your blackberry, but you'd have to spend a lot of energy building your time machine to go back to 2005. Pass on this.
About charging cell phones
June 27, 2016
There are many things about this that I really like, for instance that with about 15 seconds of hand cranking I was able to get a local radio station in for a few seconds and the flashlight did shine, albeit somewhat weakly.HOWEVER, the cables provided for charging the cell phones are non-standard and will NOT work with any cell phone I've ever had or seen (I have a Samsung Note 5). The port and its cable are more for like charging a camera than a regular cell phone. They have a little indentation on each short side and are not set up to handle a regular cell phone charging cable. There's also some sort of mini-RCA jack, but that's so not a power cord. If I'm wrong and there's SOME way, just ANY way to charge a cell phone with the cable provided, let me know. I was an engineer at Hewlett Packard, so I'm not exactly slow on the uptake with electronics, but I'd love to be wrong. Unfortunately I do not believe I am.
It will do the job
April 18, 2016
Not bad the crank works, does good to charge the unit, the light is a little week but it will give you light. The radio plays great sound good. The charging system works good. Wish the power cord was a little longer. But I do have one from my Sony camera will work. Would be nice to have a case for it.
Five minutes feels like an eternity and created hand cramps
January 2, 2016
This product performs roughly as advertised, but it turns out that hand-cranking is unexpectedly tiring! Five minutes feels like an eternity and created hand cramps. One or two minutes of straight cranking is more physically possible, but provides just 5 minutes of radio for one very vigorous minute of cranking. During our last 30-hour power outage, the radio kept turning off.Solar function:We live in the Pacific Northwest, and this radio has thus far not charged one iota in our cloudy weather during my multiple hours-long attempts. I was hoping for SOME power from the solar rays that did reach the panel, but no dice. This product could be greatly improved, and of much more practical use, with more efficient charging capacities.
Good, if you don't count on it to charge your phone.
August 7, 2015
The radio, flashlight, crank, and solar charging work fine. The 5V charging output is limited in two important ways.First, as you would expect this device has only a tiny 300mAh 3.6V NiMH internal battery so at best it can only hold enough energy to charge your cell phone a few percent, unless you'd like to turn the crank constantly. I don't consider this a con as it only promises a few minutes of talk time. My Nexus S 4G (1600mAh battery) went from 40% to 47% before the internal battery was dead.Second and not expected is the charging adapter (2.5 mm to USB A) is so flimsy that it fell apart the first time I tried to connect it together. The force required to CAREFULLY insert the adapter into the cable broke the inside of the adapter the FIRST time it was plugged in. If you are able to safely insert the adapter into the end of the included cable, tape it up and make sure not to place any stress on it. Lucky for me I have lots of other cables around so I just cut it apart and made my own cable, so it works fine for me, but unless you can do the same don't count on the charging feature to be useful. I don't understand why they didn't just put the USB A connector right inside the unit like most USB chargers, it would be less to lose (or break) and likely cheaper for them.

I wish I didn't purchase this. The tools are very hard to pull out. To the point I haven't been able to use what I need. It feels like they dipped it in superglue. I'm keeping it in my car for emergencies, but I got an entire tool box for less the price than this.

the knife is exceptionally dull, which is arguably the most important tool of the multi tool, except maybe the pliers? but it Wouldn't even cut a steak when i was camping, which was a huge disappointment, and was struggling with an avocado skin.
Decent Tool, Loosens with Regular Use
June 8, 2016
I use the tool regularly for work as a wilderness therapy guide, making bow drill sets and such with it. I've had it for about 5 months. Nearly all of the components have become loose and it is difficult to tighten them. For the price, the components work well (i.e. the knife is sharp, the saw cuts accurately). I was hoping that it would be easier to fix. Also, contacting the company who sells the tool is not possible directly after a certain period of time. If you don't use the tool really, then it would be fine, but regular use will loosen it and its hard to tighten it up again due to its construction.
Good for a spare.
December 1, 2015
Pretty poor quality. Everything feels really loose after just a few uses, and anyone who has borrowed this has agreed that the blade on the knife is terrible. The thing can't make a clean cut through just about any material. If you're desperate to cut through something thin and don't mind being teased about how long it's taking to do so, then it works in a pinch. But if you're looking for something to use on a regular basis, this is not the tool for you.
I would not recommend this product
July 29, 2015
Some of the tools are decent, but the are flimsily joined together. Therefore none of the tools have a stable handle. Also, the screw drivers are extremely small. Overall, I would not recommend this product. If you need these tools enough to have to carry them on your belt, you won't be satisfied with the quality. However, at this low of a price it's my mistake for expecting better.

Not a power bank
September 2, 2017
I bought this with the intention of using it to salor charge or hand charge a phone in an emergency. It works as expected, except for the fact the battery in mine never held a charge. Once it died it never came back. I can crank it and leave in in sun all day and itll die as soon as i stop cranking. Its probably a faulty battery that can be replaced, they happen. Still, i give 2 stars, without that fact id give 4.
Very basic
January 19, 2017
A very basic emergency radio which will generally do what it advertises but has major limitations. Primary issue is that there is no option to use regular batteries and the rechargeable battery doesn't hold power all that long. The hand crank works ok to provide light but only if you continuously turn it and forget trying to keep the radio going through this method. Basically I would only recommend this if you are the type of person who can regularly remember to keep it charged. Otherwise, like happened to me, when the electricity goes out in the middle of the night you're out of luck.
Two out of three ain't bad (but I paid for three)
December 18, 2016
When the device arrived I gave it a quick tryout. It is very small and lightweight. The radio and light seem to work well but the USB outlet is the wrong size and they sent the wrong cable- - to plug the cable into the unit and into the phone for charging needs a cable with mini- USB plugs on both ends. Or am I missing something here?1/7/17 I have reduced my rating from 4 stars to 2 because this item is not as advertised. I cannot charge my cell phone because the the USB outlet is the wrong size and because the company included the wrong charging cable. Now I have to search for/pay for an alternate phone charger. This is not what I expect from Amazon and its sellers. I have never given this poor a review to an item purchased from Amazon and I hope I never have to again.

It works like it is suppose to work BUT I just discovered the end of the antenna was broken off and stuffed inside. I never noticed this before I guess because of the way the end was crammed inside. I just thought the antenna was short. I'm not happy that they did this...SNEAKY
Disappointed. You have to work WAY too hard to get it to run.
October 27, 2016
It was smaller than I anticipated, but that's fine. It seems to be made well and the sound and tuning is good. Flashlight works great. Update Nov 17, 2016 - After some use to try it out, I'm very disappointed in how hard it is to get it charged, so much so that I may return it. After storing it in a bright sun-room for 2 days, the solar effect resulted in no noticeable charge, and if you power it by cranking it, 100 cranks gets you 2 minutes of radio play. Radios are not a big drain, I think the battery is just far too small for this unit, even though the unit is pretty small.
Poor battery life. Inefficient solar power. Radio won't run continuously in direct sunlight.
June 3, 2016
I like the size and overall design and ergonomics of this radio, but the functionality is another thing. My main gripe is the radio won't run for more than 30 minutes before the battery is exhausted. Then it needs to be recharged. One would think this radio would run continuously if exposed to direct sunlight (like another solar radio I have of different brand), but this does not. So this is disappointing and is not much use to me.

Dangerous and infuriating
June 19, 2017
Even the slightest downward pressure on the screwdriver and the tip folds up. No locking mechanism and its petty loose. Fold out attachments are not secure, making this tool fairly dangerous and incredibly frustrating. Used it once and printed the return label after two minutes. Redicoulous
Cheap
April 11, 2017
Looks nice but the pieces are cheap. Saw blade snapped in half on first day. Knife point not strong either. Very disappointed with this product. I bought it expecting it to at least last my mow season but that's not going to happen.
It was great at first but now unsafe!
December 5, 2016
Its pretty stiff so getting the tool you want takes a bit. When using the screwdriver when I put too much pressure the tool tends to fold in. But for the price it works, just not wellUpdate: after about three months of use the bolts holding it together are super loose now to the point when using the tools (like the knife) the tool goes both directions which is unsafe when using the sharp tools. I will not recommend buying due to safety.
No bottle opener, tools don't lock, messy with grease.
August 1, 2016
Summary: tools don't lock, the pliers hinge get's grease everywhere and there is no bottle opener even though the product description here and on Stanley's website say it has one. Save your money and buy something else. It's better to have locking tools and you always need a bottle opener, right?
You get what you pay for...

Immediately started return process when it arrived. Total junk. Lesson learned. Never buy a multitool held together by PLASTIC. Buy it cheap, buy it twice. The $3 Ozark Trail multitools you get from WalMart blow this thing away. You get the idea...
Seemed like a nice tool at a great price. it is not. it is a toy among multi tools
March 19, 2016
When i received it i thought: This is a nice piece of equipment. For the price I was a little worried - I've seen cheap multi-tools that aren't worth the dollar store price. This tool is certainly worthy of the Stanley name, and competes with my Leatherman and Gerber tools. It is quality metal, heavy-duty, won't bend or break - I have every confidence this tool will do what ever it is asked to. My only negative observation is this: In Pliers mode, it is not comfortable in the hand - the handles are a little wide, and the edges too apparent. Wearing some work gloves helps a lot. The difference in price between this and the 'big names' comes down to slightly less refined design. But the engineering / execution is good. It's not going to be my everyday go-to pliers, but for the bug-out bag, this is perfect - affordable and reliable for when reliable matters a lot. When I actually used it: Okay - I tried to rely on this tool today and it did not come through. Trying to assemble so PLASTIC furniture the tip of the blade twisted and bent like it was aluminum. So poor quality metal and no locking blade means I cannot recommend this.I haven't used the Philips Head screwdriver yet- the ability to hold up without stripping itself or the screw head is a great litmus test for these tools. Once I've done that I will update this. But having opened this up and checked it out, so far I think it is a nice tool and a great value.I no longer think it is a good value. Compared to actual multi-tools this is a toy

I've never even used this device. I tried to charge it today, both by cranking it and also by attaching it to my computer. The red light went on, indicating charging, but after 6 hours it only works for a few seconds once unplugged from the charging source.

I was completely satisfied with this product until I tried to fully extend the antenna. The voltage went to zero and the unit will no longer hold a charge. Useless is the term I would use to best describe this product.
