| I absolutely love this multi-toolJanuary 5, 2017 I ordered this for my dad for a late Christmas present. It came way before expected. At first handling it you notice it has a very nice weight to it and is very sleek and eye pleasing with a nice, vibrant color. The belt loop case it comes in is also very impressive and durable. My dad pulled out and checked all the tools and was impressed with the quality. The only concern we had was over the spring in the head of the pliers...I don't expect it to last very long.Great product for a great price! buy it! Perfect !December 17, 2016 As I cable tech , There's a few tools that I use constantly , screwdrivers , pliers and knife . This little multitool have all of those and more . I use it to remove wall plates , loosen up connectors , cut rg-6 cable and many other small tasks that I encounter on a daily basis . Very good multitool that I will recommend and it looks awesome . No reason to spend $90+ on a brand name. Case is form fitting and nice to have. All tools easy to open, but don't lock. However, if you open a tool and then re-fold the pliers, you have a good handle that will prevent the tool from closing during use. HINT: I like to apply a thin coat of 3-in-1 oil to tools and hinges for a little protection and smooth opening. Would buy again. It is very functional with pliers, wire cutters, screw drivers, ruler, file. It seems pretty durable, but since they have lifetime guarantee I don't suppose there is much to worry about. I did have a reason to contact customer service which had nothing to do with the quality of the knife itself. I found them to be very helpful. The case seems sturdy and high quality. This isn't a cheapy nor is it a Leatherman, but it is a mid-level multi-tool which gets the job done. I'm a plumber by trade and have already used it, and found it to be a great tool. We got hit by storm when tent camping and had used it as extra layer to keep items day. These helped us warm in cold Yosemite housekeeping camp as well. We used as curtain to block wind from opening and it also worked to reflect heat from Mr. Buddy in the tent! My kid wanted to use to warm water with sunlight but we didn't try.. I went ahead and bought a bunch of these to be able to hand them out to family and friends to put in their hiking/backpacking survival kits. A much better deal than trying to by at REI or somewhere else. Tough and work pretty well.March 31, 2016 My kids and I tested these out over several days. I gave one to my four year old to pack around. It still is holding up several weeks later.. he has put that thing through the ringer! We set up our tent and tested it both with out and with it lined with the blanket. It was noticeably warmer. During winter temperatures, we closed a bedroom door, closed the heating vent and opened the window some. It definitely got cold in the room. We, then, used this lined under a thin blanket for the night.. a bit crinkly but it worked pretty well. I am sure the original space blankets are ideal, but I am pleased with these for the price. These things saved my kitty!December 16, 2014 I have to admit, I didn't buy these for me. My husband and I have been taking care of our neighbor's abandoned cat for close to a year now. We used to keep him in our apartment (despite a no-pets clause in our lease) but when he got fleas, we decided it was time to stop bringing him in. It's getting cold now, so I built him a shelter out of a plastic storage bin, insulating foam cut to fit around each side of the bin (including top and bottom), some straw and one of our blankets that he loves. I was worried that plain insulating foam might not keep out the cold Philadelphia winter, so I ordered these blankets and wrapped one around each piece of the foam so that the entire bin was insulated. A few weeks ago we had a cold snap and the cat was hanging out in the shelter. While he was in there, I stuck my arm in to get his food bowl to refill it and even though it was barely 30 degrees outside, I swear it was at least 70 degrees in the shelter - the Mylar blankets retained so much of the little guy's body heat that it was downright comfortable, even with the opening we cut into the box to let him come and go. I'm not worried about him freezing to death anymore. If they work for that, I'm sure they're great in an emergency. | | | |

| Almost perfectApril 8, 2017 Excellent multi-tool but a bit too wide to fit in my 40 ounce steel, wide mouth water bottle (for storage). Nevertheless, a terrific tool that no one shold be without Snip a twig of wild grapes, open a box, saw a branch, open your beer in sturdy fashion. I would have given 5 stars but think it could have been slimmed down a bit. It is also heavier than many multi-function tools. Good value and useful tool.November 22, 2016 This tool is more of a back up for my GERBER Bear Grylls multi-tool. It is a great value but not the same quality product of my Gerber or Leatherman. The sheath feels like very good quality and the tool is certainly useful. I plan to keep this in my vehicle for simple tasks that I don't need a tool box full of tools for. This is made in China but I'm not disappointed, it seems well worth the price I paid. Good value and useful tool. Worth about what I paid for itNovember 17, 2016 It's a decent tool, worth about what I paid for it. The spring-back pliers are nice, though I wouldn't want to tackle anything too difficult with them. If you need this as a fishing tool, it's probably going to work out great for you. I bought to keep in my "get home" bag, and I think it's just fine for that. If you need to use this every day for serious stuff, you should probably invest in a higher end multitool. The tools are of good quality and not flimsy. Knife is quite sharp. The only component of questionable quality is the spring that assists in the opening of the pliers. | | Thin, small, tears easilyApril 6, 2015 These might be usable for an emergency situation that was not exactly life threatening. I personally would not want to depend on these if backpacking in the backwoods and needed to stay warm. My experience was that the foil was so thin, that it ripped while opening/unfolding and was near uncontrollable in a very light breeze. I couldn't imagine any stronger wind than 5 mph! It would rip the thing apart. And yes, I concur with other reviews, these are just way to small to cover your WHOLE body. Perhaps if you have patience to tape them together, like one customer mentioned... but... I would rather just open it up and use it. All in all, I will keep this bunch, but NOT for backpacking. I'm crafty, so maybe I will figure something out. Like... (sigh) taping them together. I wouldn't suggest coating a space shuttle with this stuff, though. :) | | | |

| Bad product designJuly 29, 2017 I bought this based on the high ratings from other customers. Total disappointment.It has its pros: This tool is really beautiful and sturdy, comes with a good bag, and has a good grip on hand.However, it has a very bad design. Several of the folded tools were placed on positions that cannot be used when unfolded. For example, it's praticaly impossible to open a can using the can-opener, because it was installed on a position that it is blocked by the tool handle when you try to use it. You'll die for starvation if you need this to open a can.Also, it's kinda too heavy if you plan to take on a hike I really like this multi tool when I first got itFebruary 19, 2017 I really like this multi tool when I first got it.
