Five Star Reviews: | 57% I'm happy April 25, 2015 I really like this multitool. The knife and axe were not sharp, but that's not an issue. The pouch it came with wasn't the one shown, but I like the black pouch more anyways. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend this. great pocket tool February 4, 2015 Not as big as it looks in the picture, its a bit bigger than 6" so no bigger than an everyday weiner. its definitely made well though,i dont see it breaking on you -EVER-. The axe would be more of a chipper than a splitter because of its size, but itll definitely keep you alive in a survival situation. other than that the tool is perfect. The sheath on the other hand is pure garbage, but its size grants you the ability to just stick it in your pocket so no harm done. Perfect! March 16, 2014 I have a couple of these tool sets. They are very useful, well made and sturdy. All of the blades and axe hold a sharp edge. Hammer head is large enough as is the axe. Like the way unit clips together. Pliers and wire clipper also work well. Remarkably handy for lightweight camping February 22, 2014 Bought this for its novelty value, but have grown to love this critter. It only weighs about a pound, but the heft is sufficient for hammering a tent stake and (surprisingly) chopping dead wood of around wrist-diameter. The pliers work well for removing the same stubborn tent stake that was hammered the day before. The phillips screwdriver also works as a marlinspike for untying wet knots. The knife and axe will need sharpening. All in all, a good mix of tools for camping. I no longer carry a full-sized hatchet since this tool can fulfill the same role (albeit, not quite as quickly). Master Multi Tool...at a bargain price September 18, 2013 This exact tool sells for $55.00 from its manufacturer...only difference is that one comes with a leather sheath and this one comes with a nylon one...perfect for camping or as an emergency tool in house or car. Recommended. Very handy tool for around the house and camping September 2, 2013 The first thing that struck me was the quality heavy duty steel it was made of, it was solid ahd not flimsy or thin. I can't even bend any of the accessories. I used his during camp and it came in handy from hammering the tent stakes to chopping small branches. Best of all it was very affordable from Amazon compared to other web sites. | 41% Bought as a random multi tool because i like tools lol March 1, 2017 Bought as a random multi tool because i like tools lol. got a shipping job and it has become a great combination of sleek and super useful. Knife, pliers, adjustable wrench, screwdriver, mostly 1/4 inch wide or so with a clip for belts. I moslty use the knife and pliers, but its amazingly useful to have, many co-workers have asked about it, having much bigger tools that do about the same. Smaller than I expected. January 29, 2016 Smaller than I expected but seems well made. I don't think the screw driver bits will be very functional because there is almost no clearance between the tip of the bit and the tool. I expect it would be pretty easy to scratch whatever you are working on. Would be nice if it came with an extension. The bits are too small to fit a standard bit extension. Will comment further once I have an opportunity to use them. A Well Made Pocket/Belt Tool For Small/Emergency Projects December 2, 2015 This is a slick little tool good for light work as on bicycles, tricycles, for example, but not limited to those. Well made and pocket sized or place it on your belt with the clip it comes with. There is a black pendulum button which locks it in place when not in use and the bits for the two driver sockets can be used as a conventional driver or a more powerful one having a right angle handle. Use your fingernail to push the tips out of the handle as it doesn't seem to open out. This is worth carrying on your person. Great price and quick delivery! January 4, 2015 Oh yeah baby! I couldn't believe just how well this little tool is made!...Both the pliers and the sliding jaw pliers work better then expected!..Great to carry on your belt in a pouch! Handy Little Tool November 24, 2014 The little tool is a life saver, it isn't for super heavy jobs but is perfect to keep in the car for changing fuses and such. I also like to keep this in my backpack while hiking the knife is handy. It is really built well and heavy. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 21% Clever design, can be useful, mediocre craftsmanship May 26, 2016 This is not a finely machined tool, but at this price one should not expect miracles. What it is though is a pretty solid chunk of multi-tool. I got it for camping and use as a portable hammer for staking down tents and flys. And for that it seems to be fine, there's just enough heft to give it some weight. The additional functions are just a bonus; I don't expect I'll need them much but the pliers could come in handy, and the file works fine. I don't think I'll ever use the axe...just can't think of any tiny trees I need to chop down though maybe I could use it to chop up some kindling. But with some sharpening the knife will do for light jobs in a pinch.I can't get completely away from this review without poking a little more fun at the machine work. On my device there are all sorts of uneven edges. In addition the multi-tool blades aren't perfectly straight, so the leftmost blade (with the file and a dull saw) won't close all the way because it hits the inside end of the screw holding in the decorative wood panel on the handle or hits the left side of the handle itself. It's not a major problem, you can just gently push the blade right and it will slip into its place, but if you appreciate craftsmanship, let's just say you get what you pay for here.Still useful enough for what I needed and quite inexpensive, so I'll plop down four stars and I'll hang on to it. Cool Multi-Tool! March 21, 2016 Great little multi-tool. If it came with a better axe cover, so that I wasn't always backtracking to look for it, and if it had a leather tool pouch that could slide on a belt with a flap that snapped over the axe head, it would definitely be a five star tool. It's still pretty good, as long as the axe head cover doesn't come off, while you're enthusiastically driving nails into the wall! Seems to be a good multi tool March 3, 2016 I read some of the reviews and one of them a guy tested out this multi tool camping and it worked for him. Though I haven't tested it out while camping yet, I definitely plan to. I rated this 4stars until the test. If it does well I plan to put this in my sons BOB. Just by handling it, it's got some weight to it. I can see how that will be useful when using it as a hammer or the hatchet. The hatchet does need to be sharpened before any real use as it won't even cut my thumb. I like that it comes with a plastic cover for the hatchet so it shouldn't cut things up if I throw it in a bag. but when you are out in the middle of Know-Where it is better than a rock and a stick September 21, 2015 Bought this for my SHTF pack. It feels solid and should do what is expected of it. It is NOT a full size hammer, or hatchet, or, or, or. If you need those things, buy the real thing, but when you are out in the middle of Know-Where it is better than a rock and a stick.Buy this if you need a little something to help, but don't buy this and expect it to be your everyday solution to full size jobs or problems. It wasn't designed for that. Smaller than expected. Would give it 5 stars except ... September 17, 2015 Smaller than expected. Would give it 5 stars except for the flimsy plastic cover over the very shap hatchet side. It does not stay on and makes it almost a guarantee that you will cut yourself. REALLY 3.5 STARS March 17, 2015 I like this multitool. Nice and solidly built. Dropped a star for safety reasons:1. The included carry case leaves the axe blade exposed unless you keep the plastic protective sheath it came with on the blade. The sheath doesn't appear to be for regular use, just to cover the blade for shipping purposes. If the plastic cover really was meant for regular use, if you lose the tiny piece of plastic, your screwed. I will need to buy another carry pouch.2. The edges on the handle of the tool where the additional tools come out is EXTREMELY SHARP. I would not recommend using this tool without gloves or filing down those edges, you might slice you're thumb off. If anyone has an idea on how to smooth the inside edges, I'd love to hear them. | 23% What is expecting gimmicky piece of crap but for the price I gave it a chance ... January 3, 2017 What is expecting gimmicky piece of crap but for the price I gave it a chance was very surprised they great little tools use it all the time at work. It's a multi-tool so it's definitely not going to fully replace any of things that are on it but for something that's already in your pocket great for quick fixes Cute tool at a good price. Most of it is very handy February 1, 2016 Cute tool at a good price. Most of it is very handy. Where it's bad is the black plastic holder for the screw driver tips. Almost requires another tool to pull them out. The plastic has a pair of slots as if a place to grip to swing it open, but I broke the plastic when I forced it. Now the tips simply fall out and get lost. The rest of the tool is fine so I am keeping it in my tool box and occasionally in my pocket. Multi-Tool with Adjustable Wrench and Pliers and with Knife Blade and Screwdriver Bits December 5, 2015 I have several multi-tools that have various sizes of pliers, but I bought a specific open-end wrench to carry in my camera bag for tightening the nuts on my camera's flash bracket and I bought four-inch adjustable wrenches to carry in my other bags for use with nuts or bolts of various sizes. So, I did not need this Jeep multi-tool with both pliers and an adjustable wrench, but I liked the looks of the tool, so I eventually ordered it and received it in 20 days. The tool feels solid and heavy -- it is about 5.5 ounces. The pliers open to about 0.9 inch and the wrench opens to about 0.524 inch. My Craftsman 4-inch adjustable wrench opens to 0.675 inch and my unbranded 4-inch adjustable wrench opens to 0.606 inch. However, the Jeep multi-tool's wrench and pliers were big enough to hold some small nuts that I needed to anchor some screws -- the nuts had to be held in a narrow recessed area while I used a separate screwdriver with my other hand to tighten the screws from the other end. The Jeep multi-tool worked well and I was able to anchor the screws with the nuts held in place with the pliers one time and with the wrench the second time. The knife on my Jeep multi-tool was a bit dull and needed to be sharpened. The knife blade does not lock, so, like the rest of the tool, should be used for light use.. Jeep logo multi tool September 26, 2015 I too had to wait for this longer than promised (although Amazon does give the delivery window a month or so) but it was explained that it got lost in route. This can happen with any long distance order especially for a small product. I replied to the email telling me it was lost to resend and I finally received it. It was, to me, worth the wait - it wasn't expensive but it is all metal and seems useful. I got it because of the Jeep logo on it and to keep in my Wrangler as a novelty not because I think it will save my life someday but now I see it will hold its own for MINOR tasks. 4 stars only because of the long wait. this tool seams like a great little multi tool to pair with my ... April 29, 2015 this tool seams like a great little multi tool to pair with my leatherman, but its about 10-20% smaller then i was expecting, so it isnt big enough to use as a tool for my bicycle like i planed. PROS - pocket kife sized (this is also a con), decent quality, unique design, easy to sharpen, lots of tools, if you dont like the bits you can swap them with others yoh have, strong griping belt clip, good for small jobs. CONS - knife wasnt as sharp as it could be, the magnet that holds the bit in the tip came unglued ( i reglued it with super glue no biggy) no magnet for side bit driver(only on tip driver) too small for some jobs, no lock for blade. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 12% It's okay. Design could be improved. June 28, 2016 I bought this product for camping. It seemed like a nice all in one tool. While it did definitely help out in certain times (hammering in the tent spikes and opening a can of soup when we had no can opener -- NOTE there is no specific tool for this, we just used a knife) it seems a bit poorly designed. It doesn't feel comfortable when you hold the handle and use it as a hammer. The plier function is clunky and the knife wasn't particularly sharp. It just seemed....difficult to use. Again it is space efficient and has a number of tools that can help in a pinch, but I can't imagine that there's NOT a better product out there. As an aside, I am in no way affiliated with this product or company. Just leaving an honest review in hopes that it's helpful. If you did find it helpful I'd appreciate it if you'd click that it was! Thanks. Just OK. June 21, 2016 Figured it would be a useful tool for camping. The hammer part I found to be too small to be really useful. The small hatchet is pretty useless. I found the weight of the entire thing to be heavy. The latch which keeps the pliers handle pulled in kept coming lose as I used the hammer and hatchet portions and that was annoying. Most of the weight is in the handle portion. I didn't find the handle comfortable to hold in my hand while hammering or chopping with the hatchet. I did not use the knife, saw or screwdriver pieces, so those will remain to be tested. I would probably say, take a portable tree trimming saw for cutting branches and use a rock as a hammer and get a good camping knife and all will probably work better. I wouldn't not recommend this tool for backpackers as it does add some weight. For car camping it is somewhat useful and will continue to use it for those trips. Seems decent, but the product is far too heavy September 25, 2015 So the product doesn't work for what I want. I was hoping to have a decent alternative to a leatherman (just trying to save a few bucks) and while the construction seems solid the weight is so high that I cannot justify putting it in my bag. I have a Kershaw machete that weighs less that this compact tool.No reason to return it at this price point, but it has been regulated down to my car trunk. Not as Pictured in the description April 21, 2015 Very functional product but could be better. My biggest complaint is the cover to the open hatchet blade. Mine personally came with a small flimsy piece of plastic that was ill fitting and would not stay on. It was paper thin and was obvious it was only there for packaging.A durable cover needs to be included. Something that either snaps on or is a heavier, sturdier material. It appears that the one pictured is not the same. Mine was equivalent to soft packaging plastic you may find something wrapped in, hanging on the shelf. The open blade makes carrying this difficult. I prefer a sharp blade on my tools but must keep this one dull in fear of accidental cuts.I also did not receive the soft cloth and the case that comes with it does not enclose the blade like pictured. I have included pictures of my case to show. Helpful tips for Could City 8 in 1 multi tool December 21, 2014 This is an ok tool for light usage. The best best tool is actually the hammer - it's a convenient little hammer to have.Pros:small and packs away nicelygood little hammerpocket knife bladeConsyou really cant carry this in your pocket because of the blade on the opposite the hammer end. There is cover for the blade but its not very good.many of the tools are not sturdy enough to be useful.I probably would not buy again. There are better multi tool options Novelty Item Only August 25, 2014 **This is a novelty item, not a real tool.** I purchased this thinking it was more heavy-duty than it really is. It's certainly a neat idea, and has a bunch of tools, but it can't withstand real use. One of the side panels broke within minutes of using the hammer, and the belt strap came apart after one day of being attached to a belt. I would not recommend this item for adults. It might be useful for a young scout, but doesn't stand up to real usage. | 11% not completely as pictured July 8, 2017 I loved this tool but unfortunately mine did not come with belt/hip attachment like the ones in the photo. It came with a separate carrier device that I personally never used because it was too bulky. As a result the tool was lost when it fell from of my pocket. Bits don't stay in place. March 24, 2016 Not bad for the price. My gripe is the holder for the screwdriver bits. It was very difficult to pop open, and when it did, all the bits fell out, as well as a spring. No idea where the spring came from. All the bits just fall out of their holder, so unless you put tape over them, you'll loose the bits very quickly Non-locking blade. Good metals. Acceptable construction. November 25, 2015 Knife is NOT locking. I was using it and it clamped down on my finger, digging pretty deep. Luckily the blade is smoothe and sharp so it was clean. Overall, the construction is acceptable, but there are aspects of the assembly that could be tighter. I like the design and the metals are all good. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 3% THERE WAS A SCREW MISSING FROM THE HANDLE!! ... September 29, 2017 THERE WAS A SCREW MISSING FROM THE HANDLE!!!!I gave it as a gift and it was very embarrassing when the person noticed that part of the handle was not secured.I was able to find a screw in my toolbox that fit so i didnt need to send it back and wait for a replacement. My point is BEWARE OF MISSING PARTS!! The multi-tools were pretty cheap and the knife would have a hard time ... March 28, 2016 Item was different from the description. The one I received had a regular nail removing back instead of an axe. The multi-tools were pretty cheap and the knife would have a hard time cutting butter. I wouldn't mind paying more to have a heavy duty version of this but its a decent novelty tool. lt is very nice except for the little rubber part that covers the ... October 11, 2015 lt is very nice except for the little rubber part that covers the ax part of it, once you take it off to use the ax the rubber part will no longer stay on snug, and that is dangerous if you have it on your belt, the cover should cover the whole ax head. Nice tool, but not what was advertised. September 19, 2015 The product is nice, however what we got was not exactly the same as the picture and discription of the product. What I got was a hammer with all the tools, but no axe. Ehhhh March 19, 2015 There's a few things wrong with this product. The axe head is as dull as a plastic knife. When I attached the tool to my belt in its sheath it would lean to one side due to the offset weight of the hammer and it was very annoying. It was just a burden to carry around. It didn't feel like it was made with care in the hand. It's an okay tool but I did not like this product. | 12% Not worth it. April 30, 2017 I'm saddened. It says Jeep, but it doesn't come close to the name. Open 5 minutes, bits fell out of holder. Wasn't sure how the holder really works. Should have gone Gerber or Leatherman. Guess I'll just deal with because it too much of a hassle to return it. Not the best multi-tool out there. March 28, 2017 I bought this specifically for the Jeep Logo, and the product did not deliver on that. I knew that it would be marginal as an actual multi-tool, but it was a gift for the wife for her new jeep and this did not deliver. I'm highly disappointed that the tool came without the Jeep logo when the pictures clearly show it in the ad. Does not say "Jeep"...you may be sent one without a logo December 17, 2016 Bought this as a gift for a friend who has a Jeep. This does not have the Jeep logo on it. I see in the questions above someone says theirs did. I wouldn't count on yours having it. I'll probably give it to him anyway but disappointed. So this is a 2 only because other than not being as advertised, functionally I assume it's fine. I'm disappointed. The instructions are not in English December 16, 2016 I purchased two of these. Neither have "Jeep" anywhere on the product. This was one of the main reasons I purchased it. I'm disappointed. The instructions are not in English, which makes figuring out how it works a little complicated. I have not used it (Christmas gift) so I can't give a fair evaluation of the functionality/quality of the product. I don't recommend purchasing it due to the advertisement is misleading...and makes me question what else is also misleading. NOT Jeep January 27, 2016 I bought this solely because of the Jeep branding and the one that arrived has no branding. It will still go in my Wrangler but I'm not happy. Tool is of mediocre quality. Think Harbor Freight instead of Leatherman or Gerber. It came in a white chipboard box with no sheath as described in other reviews. The smell of machine oil dripping from the latch takes me back to my days in a Chinese factory. Good times... Sometimes there's a reason something is one-of-a-kind; because it's stupid. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 7% Not sharp, almost broken April 12, 2017 My product just came, all the blades aren't sharp at all, and are almost falling off. The axe is pretty much a butter knife because of how dull the blade is not sure if its supposed to be like this..... June 21, 2016 the wire cutter looks used and it came really dirty and smelled funny like it was used and returned. Item not as advertised February 16, 2016 Very disappointed. I ordered it expecting it to look like it does in the picture above. A hammer on one side and an ax on the other. Instead I received a similar looking item with a hammer on one side and a nail puller on the other. I have several similar hammers already I was disappointed but left it at that They "got " me on this one! Quality seems ... November 25, 2015 They "got " me on this one! Quality seems very circumspect. It arrived with the wood handle detached on one side...and it has not even been used! | 13% Not what is pictured - No JEEP logos, has small rust patches, knicks, and scratches, and came covered in oil. Very disappointed August 16, 2017 In the images it shows a tool that is branded as a Jeep tool, I was specifically purchasing it because of this as something to give to my fiancee to keep in the Jeep. It is not branded with a Jeep logo anywhere, it came covered in some sort of lubricant, with scratches and a few rust spots on it. All in all this is an overwhelmingly disappointing purchase which I will be returning. Cheap, terrible tool. June 1, 2017 Cheap, terrible tool. The 2 pliers are modestly acceptable for the money, but the screwdriver bit was broken upon first opening. Even if it wasn't, the comment from another buyer is correct about the fact that the holder is horrible. The bits don't stay in place. It's too bad, because for the money, if the screw driver function had been even fair, the tool might have been worth the money. DO NOT buy this. There are other options on AMazon. One Star March 19, 2016 1. Definitely not Jeep product. 2. Very loose knife 3. Very tight spare screws, can't get them out Save Your Money December 7, 2015 Either I overlooked the description of the product or the size was not provided. This tool would be nice IF I were an elf, but it's so small that it's not functional for anything in real-life situations other than changing a screw on a watch or pair of glasses. It does have a blade too, which I suppose you could use to open a stubborn envelope. One Star September 5, 2015 The screw driver bits fall out of the handle after the first use.
