A Keeper!
May 27, 2017
This little thing is AWESOME!!! It downloaded my pictures a lot faster than the camera does! This is definitely one of my better investments. All I did was plug it into my computer, hit the transfer button, and it was done in less than 5 seconds. I only had 50 pics on the card, but still, it went amazingly fast. It does require a separate cord, that IS NOT included, but I happened to have one on hand.
EVERY COMPUTER NUT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST TWO OF THESE HIGH SPEED USB CARD READERS, HELL, GET THREE, YOU WON'T REGRET THIS.
March 5, 2017
I ORDERED THIS SMALL CARD READER BECAUSE I USED TO OWN A DELL MONITOR WITH A BUILT IN CARD READER THAT DIED WHEN THE MONITOR DIED.THIS MULTI CARD READER IS THE BEE'S KNEES, IT READS ALL MY WEIRD LITTLE CARDS AS WELL AS MY COMPACT FLASH AND COMPACT FLASH II CARDS THAT I HAVE COLLECTED OVER THE YEARS.GO OUT AND BUY ONE OR EVEN TWO OF THESE READERS, THEY WON'T LET YOU DOWN AND YOU WILL HAVE SLOTS FOR ALL YOUR CARDS.
Works Great.

Over the years I've had several cameras and so naturally I have several kinds of cards. This is so easy to use and downloads the pictures as well as if I searched all over my house and found the right cord for the right camera and downloaded directly from the camera. I was hoping this would eliminate me having to find all the right stuff for each camera and card I have and I was right. Works great at a great price. Better than having to try to buy the cords I was missing.
nifty little gadget for a good price
January 4, 2015
So far so good. This little gadget is a good product. I have tried multiple cards of various brand and class on it and the device recognized all of them. Most of the electronics I own use sd and micro sd so those are the only types I have tested. I read some older reviews that it's not compatible with 32gb cards (I believe it mentioned in the specs aswell) but it recognized and formated a brand new out of the package 32gb class 10 transcend SD card I just received. It's alot smaller then I expected but that's a plus if anything. This is just my opinion as well but I like the plastic housing on it, it's a smooth rubbery type plastic and looks cool. It's a great value in my opinion, and if it fails down the road on me I'm not going to sweat it as its only a few bucks.
This card reader can handle more sizes than others.
April 25, 2012
My brother had an old camera memory card that had photos of work projects. Unfortunately, the thing was too big to fit into a newer computer. I tried a couple of other card readers, but despite their claims the card didn't fit. Then I tried this one and voila! I was able to read the card. The computer recognized the reader and allowed me to access the data with no trouble. For the price, this product can't be beaten.
Great Buy

I bought this USB card reader because I do a lot of photography and it's very easy to use and also very fast in transferring files and video to the computer.

Yes this is exactly what I needed. It has a dedicated micro SD slot and an Olympus XD slot. Both not found in all similar products. It doesn't show up in My Computer as a drive. (Win 7). But when plugged into the USB port with a card installed, a window opens asking if I want to view the contents of the card. Remember this is all for around $10.00. It also comes with a short USB cord.
Quick and affordable solution.

Does what it's supposed to. You need to be careful pluggin in anything with pins, since it's so easy to bend them, but it seems to be a flaw of the design rather than the product. Got it to replace the built in drive that'd failed since I can't be bothered right now to crack the case on my machine to replace it there. Next computer I buy, I'll be skipping the internal and just stick with an external like this, for when I need it.

I plugged this item into my computer minutes after it arrived and it works great! After reading the other reviews about the short cord I never even took the tie wrap off of the one that came with the reader, I just pulled a longer spare out of my junk drawer, stuck some Velcro tape to the bottom of the reader and a piece on the top of my desk, plugged it in and whamo, I now have a multi digital card reader conveniently at hand! :)
This one is really great
March 25, 2013
Everyone knows that the card readers on the computer will, if not mostly, decide to quit functioning, even though the hardware is fine. Drivers have a way of getting turned off when you need them the most. You will not go wrong with this little item. It gives so many options and is still very compact in size. Photographers, such as myself, just cannot go without them.I especially like this one as you can also use the micro cards, the ones that fit into a larger card, but this unit will accept the micro card without the larger adapter. You just can't have enough options with this one. It covers almost every card out there.
Works Great - Can't Beat the Price
August 26, 2012
Got it 2 days ago, pulled photos off four 10-yr. old smart cards with no problem. My Olympus D-40 bought in 2002 had quit talking to my laptop which basically rendered the D-40 useless - if I couldn't get the pictures off it was no good to me. Got this little device and my D-40 is back in business. I like that it's small, very light-weight and the cable is short (so many of my devices have USB cables that are really long when they don't need to be and they just get in the way).I know it's early days yet and if I ever have any problems with this little gadget I'll update my review.
Much more than expected.
February 23, 2012
I must say I was skeptical when I ordered this, mainly because it was so cheap. I mean, how could it possibly read my older SmartMedia cards. But, low & behold, it did a great job and I will recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks for another great Amazon purchase.

Small and tidy case for your memory cards , easily stored with my flash drives and its nice and cheap too.
Great buy for 2.00
July 18, 2016
So far this is a great case for little over 2.00 dollars. Color is true it's small but I like that.all my cards seem to fit well. I will do a update if this dose not hold up well. I would recommend this 100%.hope u like my review.
Soooo Good
July 6, 2016
It is small but it is very easy to use and you can carry in your purse or bag pants, is very convenient and gets you out of trouble when you do not know where to keep the microsSD or adapter.
Guess you could enter them in a computer list if that works better for you
June 5, 2016
A handy way to keep your cards in order. There's a lot of these cases out there and quality is variable. This seller provides a well-made product for a very reasonable price. Shipping was also problem free. I find that numbering the windows (or the cards) and keying them to a short description of what's on each Sd card is helpful. I use an index card folded in half for the info and just keep it in the case. Guess you could enter them in a computer list if that works better for you.

September 4, 2015
Does just fine. Sure, 4 of 8 pages are sized for (2) Compact Flash (0.1 x 1.7 x 1.4 inches) cards (= 8), and the inner 4 pages are sized for (3) SD (0.8 x 1.3 x 0.9 inches) cards (= 12, see pics) ... so what?! ... *Maybe*... you've got more than ONE type of camera... or,... slip the SD's in SIDEways (d'oh!). Single-stitching is a little worrisome, but, ... meh..... And, if/when the plastic pockets rip, that's what they make packaging tape for (so-to-speak). ... (Dear Manufacturer, -Would like to see about 12 pages, and double-stitching, pls?). Cards are together & where I know they are, & I'm not a pro photo/videographer, so I probably won't fill one case, but will get another couple cases just for stock. thnx
EXCEPTIONALLY Well Constructed and an EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD Buy!
June 25, 2015
Very nice case! It is well built from very good material and workmanship and holds a metric kim-chee load of cards. I was exceptionally happy to note that it even has four slots for Compact Flash cards; especially since one of my cameras use that format! I didn't count all the spaces for SD and smaller cards, but I daresay it is more than enough for me to keep enough media to shoot several day's worth of work. The zipper is a fairly heavy duty type and the material is higher grade as well. I am indeed happy with this item and I likewise recommend it! I believe it an excellent buy at an excellent price!!!

Was worried as to whether it would work with an xd m+ card (I could only find in description that it support m cards). But we were in a hurry to have this for a trip. Took a couple of pics and inserted card, and it read those pictures fine. Nice that it supposedly reads multiple types of cards. Have only tried the xd. So only downside so far is that description could be better and it would be nice if it had usb built right into card reader w/o having to keep track of a cord. Cord is supplied with card reader.
Ordering On Line Difficulties
April 21, 2017
This was not exactly what I was looking for but is better than a previous product I ordered that would not work because of the location of the location of the SD card slot. More pictures showing how the product works would help. None of the pictures included the detachable cord which is the part of the product I would have liked to avoid.
Seems cheap but for now it gets the job done
October 14, 2016
This product is a cheap alternative to overpriced big box store card readers. I do understand many previous raters' claims of the CF reader being fragile (this is why I bought it primarily) but if you follow the directions on the actual product and insert the card carefully, it shouldnt be an issue. I am very pleased with theach product overall but am slightly worried about the CF slot pins after inserting it a few times.
It doesn't quite mix the old and the new
October 7, 2016
The eSecure card reader worked for my Micro SD card in its adapter and even without its adapter. However, I bought this to read my 128 Mb Sony Memory Sticks that I use in my Handycam IP55, since my new computer's memory card slot won’t fit and read those. When I insert my Sony Memory Stick into this eSecure unit and plug it into my computer’s USB 2.0 port, I get no response. When I further open my File Explorer and hunt for the drive, I can see the eSecure unit, but I still can’t get any reading from my Memory Stick. When I right-click the icon for the eSecure device, I get a pop-up menu that shows:Browse FilesCreate ShortcutRemove DeviceTroubleshootPropertiesWhen I hover over Browse Files, I see the F: drive, but clicking on it does nothing. When I click Troubleshoot, my computer runs through Detecting Problems for several seconds, and then I get: USB Mass Storage Device is an older USB device and might not work with USB 3.0 Plug the device into an available USB 2.0 port, and click Next. Otherwise, click Cancel.I have found no way to get my computer with one 3.0 USB port and two 2.0 USB ports to read my Memory Sticks. Also, I don’t understand why my computer tells me to plug the device into an available USB 2.0 port when it’s already there. I’ve tried testing this in both my available USB 2.0 ports.I’ll keep trying to find a way to get my computer to read the files from my Memory Sticks, since that’s the only way I can easily get my pictures transferred directly onto my computer. Without a reader that can plug directly into my computer, I have to read my Memory Stick on my wife’s computer and then either transfer the files to an SD card or thumb drive or send them by e-mail and load them onto my hard drive from the e-mails. These techniques lose my date stamps on the pictures, so that’s not nice, either. And, now, because I didn’t understand the Remove Device function on the menu, I have deleted the 2.0 USB port driver where I was trying to read my Memory Stick. I’ll also have to find a way to reinstall that.It says eSecure All in 1, but it fell short where I needed it. Maybe it should say “All but 1.” I’ll give this four stars, since it does read the SD and micro SD, even though my computer can already read SD cards.I know that the eSecure is not the real cause of my problems. If I were rich, I'd probably already have a new digital SLR camera. That might be my ultimate final option.
Basic card reader, supports lots of formats
November 6, 2015
Good card reader. On occasion I come across a memory card that I don't otherwise have a way to read, and this works great. Only reason for 4 stars - After one or two uses, I had a couple pins get bent inside the CompactFlash port. I just took the thing apart and straightened them with a tweezers. I decided to leave it out of the case, so I can make sure any other CF cards go in properly without bending the pins. You can see the couple I had to straighten in the attached photo. It still works great!
Great for low-volume use
October 24, 2013
My old desktop computer had slots for various memory cads, and I found it MUCH easier to pop the memory card out of my Canon Powershot than to connect the cable. My laptop ha no such facility, and I've misplaced the cord for the camera....This reader connects with a short mini-USB to regular USB cable, which is included. You can't use the cable from your cellphone - that's a micro-USB, not a mini-uSB They are similar enough in size and shape, that I'msure people are ruining devices trying to mash the wrong cable into the jack. My advice is to never remove the cable from the card readerMy camera has a mechanism to hold the memory card in securely. This device doesn't have that. It takes a little practice to be able get the card in the proper orientation in the correct slot, but the computer lets you know when it's right. i don't know if it's safer, but I insert the card, then plug the cable into the computer. As it is,I might use the reader once every couple of weeks, and I am glad I didn't spend any more than this on a card reader, nor buy a new cable for the camera. I wondered if I a going to egret this purchase, but it turned out to be EACTLY what I needed.

September 19, 2016
The product arrived timely new in blister pack; Package contained two parts; the reader and its cable. All I did was attach the cable to the appropriate devices and place a SD card into the appropriate slot of the reader and I was able to easily view and manage my card's stored files. The one draw back is only one card can be read by the reader at a time, but it its also fair to say about all other card readers. If there is one on the market that can read and display multiple cards at one time I would like to know about. Otherwise, this is a very good product and I recommend it.
worked for me
June 12, 2016
at first I thought it was not working but then I tried another micro sd card, turns out my sd card was bad ( Beware buying any from Wish dot com) works fine for me
Great!
March 5, 2013
Works very well. I like how well it read my camera's memory card and how easy it was to get pictures downloaded from the card to my computer. The only real negative I have is that none of the slots are labeled really. They're really right on top of each other and it took me a bit to figure out where to put a regular size SD card. It didn't have it's own slot.Still, it worked rather well and I'll probably use it again in the future. I recently purchased a computer that came with an SD card reader built in. Still, I can used this with my laptop so it wasn't a waste of money.
Just what I needed
January 9, 2013
I have several older cards for my older camera and digital voice recorder, the recorder isabout 8-9 years old but still works fine, I use it to record minutes of meetings so I can transcribe them later, most card readers and laptops don't have a slot that will reader the older meaader cards and I didn't want to just toss the recorder, it was a couple of hundred dollars when I bought it and like I said it still works fine, so this was a good option for my laptops. It gives enough flexability to read most of the older and newer media devices.
Does what it says just fine!
June 4, 2012
This product does what is says just fine. It simply plugged into my MacBook Pro and worked no issues, nothing to install. The only downside to this product (and the reason for one star fewer than 5) is that there are no directions! You are left to figure out how to use it on your own. Here are what I would say in terms of directions:Note on the top of the product it lists in 2 pairs the types of cards the device supports. The letters on the left of each pair indicate what the top slot on each side accepts. The lettering on the right of each pair of words indicate which cards the bottom slots on each side accept. Slightly deceiving however as the pattern does not continue within the slot. For example in the SM/XD marking it is the XM card that gets pushed into the left of the slot (bottom slot left side and left side of that slot). Also deceiving is that the cards (at least the XD one as that is all I used the device for) go in upside down not face side up as the image on this Amazon page indicates. Also not that the cards are a snug fit and go in so far into the device that only a sliver of the card is left sticking out for you to grab onto with your nail and pull it out. That said great product. Fast download - much faster than when done from my camera itself. Definitely will keep this cheap little thing handily.Hope my directions helped...
Cheap and gave me a laugh
May 16, 2012
If you are a current owner please turn your reader over and read #2 on the back. Quite funny. This card reader is cheap and it feels cheap. It does the job though. I do not like however in the item photo it shows all the various cards but fails to mention or show that you will need adapters. One of the cards shown is the memory stick pro duo, which is what my camera uses. It does read it, with it slipped inside an adapter and then inside the reader. That's fine it just should be something they inform people of prior to buying.

February 8, 2016
Product is okay for price. Keeps those small cards in one place in a small footprint case. Wish it had some sort of loop to connect it to cases - it's size and color makes it easy to lose in a bag or purse. It would have 5 stars if there were a way to keep it organized in a bag.

January 8, 2016
I use this for all of my SD cards and it organizes them perfectly while taking up minimal space. My only disappointment with this product is that it only has two slots for compact flash memory cards and the rest of the slots are for SD cards. If you are using this for a point and shoot or like a Canon T3i, you'll be set for organization, however, if you use primarily CF cards, you'll probably need to get a different product with more CF pouches.
Offers protection but just for the memory cards.
September 19, 2015
I've acquired quite a few memory cards over the years and needed something larger to keep them all in one place. The smaller Case Logic I initially purchased from amazon no longer does the job. Hence, I made this purchase. It arrived exactly as described and pictured on the amazon site. The case is a nylon and the plastic pages will do the job of holding 22 memory cards.Only con I see to this is that it only holds memory cards, not the plastic cases some memory cards come in.Overall, it was a worthwhile purchase for me and I highly recommend it to keep all your memory cards in one place while offering protection.

April 29, 2015
The case is great and compact and easy to cary around. There is ample room to fill the slots with ease. Make sure to check the delivery on this item as it is not a quick ship turn around like most amazon items. It took a very long time to receive. So if you order it as a gift or need it by a certain date... be aware that it does take some time to receive.
SLOW WALLET FROM CHINA
March 15, 2015
This is a fairly nice wallet, especially for the money I paid ($3.00 plus free shipping) considering the wallets I priced at photo stores cost in the neighborhood of $20. The wallet holds 22 cards, 18 slots for SD cards and 4 larger slots for CF cards or SD cards in their cases. The wallet has a nice zipper and is very necessary in protecting my valuable photos from loss.I got the free shipping, however, I had to wait 44 days for it to arrive. It came direct from Fuzhou, China (by air, no less).I was happy with my purchase but almost forgot it was still on order.

August 19, 2016
So far I like it and it solved the problem I was having as my camera would not connect to my computer anymore. But the larger CF Flash might be a problem. I read in other reviews that it was a problem for some people and I was REALLY careful inserting it but I could not insert it. So I looked and sure enough one of the pins was bent which was causing the problem but I was able to straighten the bent pin and then everything was fine. Don't know whether there will be problems in the future or not but so far its ok.

Use Caution - Inspect Before Using
December 22, 2015
I had a dozen or so old Sony Memorysticks laying around as well as some older CompactFlash cards from older cameras and I no longer had a PC capable of reading them, so I thought an inexpensive memory card reader could be handy to transfer files off of the old cards before sending them off the "e-graveyard" (which in my case is a plastic box in the bottom of a drawer). The eSecure reader is compact and easily hooks to any USB port, but I found a few issues upon initial inspection. First, there is a sticker on the bottom that cautions you to insert CompactFlash cards upside down (label facing down). I found it odd they would need such a label as most devices that use those cards only allow the cards to be inserted in one direction, but upon closer inspection it appears you could accidentally insert the card upside down which would probably result in some bent pins or possibly even damage to the card reader. If you're careful it shouldn't pose an issue, but if you forget about the orientation it could be the end of the CF slot.To make matters worse when I checked the pins for the CF slot I found several were bent. Had I tried to insert a CF card not only would it not have worked, but it would have likely bent the pins further resulting in permanent damage. With the card reader disconnected I was able to bend the pins back to where they should be, but I caution anyone purchasing this card reader to check all of the pins prior to using it.The other issue I had was when I tried to insert a SD card it didn't fit properly. I examined the slot and found a random bit of plastic from the interior shell had broken off and was wedged in the back which in turn prevented the card from seating properly in the slot. I was able to remove the plastic with a small razor knife but it makes me question the connection between the card and slot since the slot is now slightly larger than it shoul be. As my laptop has a dedicated SD card slot I likely won't use the reader for that card type, but it was disappointing nonetheless.Another negative in my view is that none of the slots are actually labeled. The top of the reader lists the various types of cards with their respective logos, but the slots themselves have no such indicators. Therefore it is a bit of trial and error to find the proper slot and determine proper orientation which could be trouble for someone with poor eyesight - and if you have small children you'll want to ensure this is kept away as it wouldn't be difficult to insert a card into the wrong slot resulting in damage. All things considered I can't recommend this reader as it feels poorly made and I don't have confidence it will last. The unit I received should never have made it beyond a quality control inspection which suggests no such inspections are performed. Therefore one unit might be just fine while another (my example) could exhibit numerous defects. If it weren't so inexpensive I likely would have returned it, but frankly it isn't worth the time and hassle of sending it back!Let's just hope I don't have any trouble reading from or writing to memory cards. In that department it has worked thus far so my assessment is that it will do the job provided you are careful with the insertion of the cards.
Don't believe the picture
January 17, 2014
Pros* Inexpensive* Will read just about any card out thereCons* Mine did not ship with a USB connection cable* Blue power light lights-up when the reader is connected to a computer, NOT when a card is recognized or accessed* To get all of the readers to fit in the small case, some are mounted upside down. For Example, the CF reader and Memory Stick slots are upside down, so you have to put the memory card in upside down. Don't believe the picture that shows the cards upright. However, the SD card goes in right-side up.* Some of the reader slots (like the CF) aren't manufactured to an exact tolerance, so it's hard to get the memory card in. Then you have to mess with trying to remember if it's a slot with the card upright or upside down. (Yes, I did bend a pin in this reader too.)Final Opinion: worth if for the cheap price and overall convenience if you have lots of different cards to deal with, and don't mind messing around with some poor fittings.

A little difficult
November 24, 2015
Difficult. Of course the manufacturer believes that the product is self-explanatory, but it is not. The memory card for my model (this is stated on the package, but not very obviously) has to be inserted upside down; my old server has a very hard time recognizing the device and the operations are limited. For example, even though the card was formatted, when I plug the device into my PC, it says the media has to be formatted, but then I am not allowed. For the price it will do the job so I think it is ok, I just think it should be more beginner friendly.
I like the streamlined
May 22, 2015
I like the streamlined, modern look of it, and it's smaller than other multi units I've used. My one crit is that it came with no manufacturer's info or instructions, despite being shipped by Amazon fulfillment. It lit up when plugged in and inserted with a micro SD card, but my computer would not recognize it. I suspect it might be that my computer is just old, but as far as I could tell from online searching it's supposed to be plug & play. I ended up returning it. I think if it came with some kind of instructions or product info, I may have been able to figure it out better.
Great deal I thought
March 26, 2014
The seller was right on task with the fast delivery. The ad said I saved over $1,158.04 on this item. I paid, $11.95 with free shipping. Great deal I thought! Opened it up and it's made of cheap plastic and metal. DEFINATELY NOT worth over $1,100! But if it works, great. The problem I had was it came with no instructions. I had to look up YouTube to see how to use it. I am having problems with it, when I plugged it in, it's suppose to show an icon on my computer and it doesn't. Don't know if I"M doing something wrong or if something is wrong with the item. I'm getting a IT person here to help me first before I send it back. It's exactly what I needed, now to see if it works! Keeping my fingers crossed, it's just something on my part!! :)
Renumbered my digital files
November 29, 2013
I found that I had to insert my media card in upside down to get it to work. The device downloaded the images as promised, however, it renumbered all of the images to start over with 1, which created quite a bit of havoc with my digital photo filing system. Had it left the number of the file the same as the camera had numbered them, there wouldn't have been a problem.
Was better than expected, but eventually failed.
August 2, 2013
I bought this product in April 2012 mainly because it worked with CF cards. I used it once a month for the first year and during the last few months, almost daily. As far as speed goes and the amount of items it works with, I give it an A. I was caution when inserting the CF card because there isn't a lot space to hold the card in. The pens eventually bent, one by one and now it will not take CF cards. I haven't used it for any other cards, so I can't say how it works for those. For the price and convenience, it is well worth it and I would probably buy it again to have for a backup. In the meantime, I still have have and will hopefully find another card to use it with.
USB cable defective
September 14, 2011
Pluged the device in with no results. Fortunatly I had another USB cable and the device worked fine. Apparently a defective USB cable. The way I see it, what does one expect for $10 bucks. I purchased it for one reason, to read an old smartcard with pictures on it. Retrieved the pics and I'm happy...

They work as intended
July 5, 2016
Ive bought three of these cases, and they work okay for storage, but i'm trying to find a better storage solution.
Suits the need.
December 15, 2015
It took almost a month to receive. Just keep that in mind. Quality-wise it seems like it will hold up for my needs. I don't exchange my SD cards frequently so I won't be getting into the case that often.
It was cheap
November 21, 2015
This only holds the small SD cards and the slots are small and it is tight getting them into the pocket. It was cheap and better than leaving them loose, but if I'd had my choice, I would choose a holder easier to access the cards
Good unit, Small size.
October 25, 2015
Beware the size. This holder is super little. Take a close look at the pic. It's only the size of two cards. Not disappointed though.
Can't beat it for the price!
October 23, 2015
Nice, cheap little holder for your memory cards. If you are like me and have tons laying around, this is a very good solution. Quality of build is just ok, about what you would expect for how much this costs. Quite frankly, I wasn't needing anything awesome, just something to adequately hold my memory cards (which this does well).
22 slot wallet is ok. Not great, but ok.
August 10, 2015
It's ok. Definitely better than nothing at all but not great. The biggest issue is that your cards slide in to the clear plastic pockets but there's nothing to keep them from falling out. So if you've got a few smaller cards like MicroSD's and you hold the wallet open at a weird angle or turn the page too fast, they'll just slide out. On a lesser note, it could use a D-ring or something so you can secure it to your camera bag or whatever. Right not it just has the hole in the zipper handle to use.

It works fine if you replace the garbage USB cable it came with. Mine kept disconnecting and I discovered it was due to the low quality cable.
thanks to their good return policy
December 31, 2016
I purchases the eSecure All-in-1 Card Reader thinking it would open my Sony 64Mb Camera Memory Stick. It would not. I tried it on two different computers. The Memory Stick worked on my older computer with a card slot labeled MS/PRO/ DUO PRO. My new computer had only 1 card reader and my Memory Stick would not fit. I purchased a PNY Card Reader with 4 slots which worked perfectly, for less than $10.00. I returned the eSecure to Amazon, thanks to their good return policy.
Cable didn't work. Had to purchase my own.
August 6, 2016
I use multiple cameras and I have various media cards that I use along with them. I was looking for an item that would allow me to easily transport the footage onto my computer. I purchased this item and arrived on time. However for an entire day was frustrated with it because when I plugged it in along with my smartcard plugged into it my computer could not read any of the files. I came back here and asked some questions and apparently other people have had this challenge as well. Someone suggested that I switch out the cable that it came with. Thankfully I did have another similar cable here at home. When I did use my cable it worked. I don't know what the problem is with their cable but it's not worked to this day And so I had to throw it away. I'm glad that this finally works but if you don't have an alternate cable to plug it in you may have to run out and buy one.
This device doesn't work.
March 23, 2016
Unfortunately I didn't get around to using this product till now (3/23/2016), though I purchased it over a few months ago. If I would have used this product then, I would have sent it back.I am giving this product 2 stars, because of the Idea behind the way it is made. But that is as far as it goes. This product just doesn't work. I tried it on 3 different systems (1 PC, and 2 Laptops). Anytime I would slide a SD, Micro SD, Mini SD< or any other SD card into this device, the computer would not read that something was plugged in. Disappointing. At least it only cost me $7.
the device would be useless to me
October 30, 2015
I was very excited about this item, but after receiving it, I had a lot of trouble getting it to work. My computer would not recognize that I had a device connected. I updated all drivers, and tried again with no luck. Finally, I switched out the mini USB cord that came with my card reader with a mini USB cord that I already had and the computer finally recognized that it was connected. This is very disappointing. It was just coincidence that I had a similar cord. If I hadn't, the device would be useless to me. I am hoping they will send me a replacement cord.
Terrible connections
July 23, 2015
I want to love it, but after only a week of using it, it's flaking out. I use it for reading my CF cards, and as other reviewers have posted, it worked great the first few times (maybe three times) but now it disconnects constantly and won't stay connected. I don't know if it's a cord problem or a reader problem, but it seems like a good idea. When the connection stays connected, it's great, but to hold the card in and the reader steady with one hand, and use the mouse with the other.... well, not efficient. I wanted to quickly get all of my pictures downloaded, so I had my husband hold the shift key while I selected all of my pictures and copied them off. Fortunately, I have a backup reader (designated for CF cards only) that's been awesome so far.I almost give it a three star rating only because when it does work, it's a really great product, but the craftsmanship is so flaky I just couldn't.

Not real happy with this. It turned out to be slow in reading my chips. Definitely not as good as the similar IOGear product.
Doesn't work for my microdrive
August 10, 2015
I have a Hitachi Microdrive that doesn't fit in this card reader. Although it seems to have a slot with the right amount of pins, the opening is too slim to fit the Microdrive.

December 8, 2014
I bought this to use with CF memory cards. It's the right size for my card, but the card won't insert easily. It seems to want to go in on one side, but I'm not going to force the other side, at the risk of ruining my card. It's a business purchase, so I'm keeping it. We might be able to use it, if a customer brings in a card that can be used with one of the other access areas. Inexpensive enough to not justify the return shipping, anyway. I can't recommend purchasing it, just because I don't know if this is a fluke, or a manufacturing flaw.
D O A
February 24, 2014
I tried this device on several computers. They all recognized that a USB device was there, but none of them could read the card. The quality/strength of such a cheap device is about what you would expect. The difficulty of inserting a card correlates directly with card size... the larger, the more difficult. Based upon the device not working, I cannot recommend this device
Card reader -- revised rating
November 24, 2012
This is a good device but the symbols that show which card goes where are too small for me to read. Since IDo have 1 camera that uses dd cards I needed it for both dd and sd cards. The xd cards are a bit hard for me to insert.OuizeePS: Since I first rated this item, I've had a problem with it not reading my cards now. Have not used it since we got home from our snowbird trip out west, which was where it stopped working. In fact, it caused my computer to freeze up upon boot up. Had to use the one on the computer in the house we were renting, instead.

Memory cards fall out & you can lose them easily
April 12, 2017
A Very inexpensive product, but the problem I had is that when you insert your memory cards in the plastic "pockets" they just fall out. There should be a flap to hold them the memory cards in or some sort of a better system. I am using this product, but buyer beware most likely your memory cards will fall out of these pockets.
You get what you pay for
February 22, 2017
You get what you pay for, in this case what you are paying for is a cheap, not well designed few pieces of plastic that can be zipped closed. It will hold your cards but I recommend trying to find something that will hold them well.
Does it's job.
February 12, 2017
I bought this as a gift for someone and it worked alright to keep the memory cards all safe and in one spot. The case itself has a cheap plastic and flimsy feel to it.
Cheap Zipper and Cheap Fabric
August 10, 2016
We purchased two brands of these cases to test them out, and this one had an inferior zipper. It failed almost right out of the gate. I was able to guide it back on and it's worked since. The fabric on this one seems way cheaper that the other one we tried.
Spacious but lacks quality
April 14, 2016
It's good storage space, but the quality just isn't there. I'm afraid the pouches will tear or the zipper will break every time I use it, but it's to be expected for the price. Only buy if you're desperate for a way not to lose those pesky memory cards of yours.
kinda CHEAP
January 28, 2016
Nice that it has 22 pockets for sd cards, but the quality of the cover and zipper are cheap, lightweight. Zippers bound to break off

Garbage.
January 29, 2017
Spend a bit more money and get something that actually works. On mine the connection from the cable into the card reader is really loose and while my computer recognizes that the device is there, it doesn't show up as an available drive in My Computer and I can't actually look at anything on the card. Had the same issue on a PC and a Mac, and when trying multiple cords. The problem is definitely the reader.
Seems to be Hit or Miss, and my unit is all Miss
June 20, 2016
I wasted more than $7 worth of my time on trying to get this product to function. I could not find any legitimate drivers online provided by the manufacturer(sidenote: don't install random drivers that claim to fix this, as other reviewers have stated that they got viruses from questionable driver sources). If you get this product and it doesn't work, which seems to happen to at least half of the people who have bought it, I'd strongly recommend you go straight to either 1)Amazon's refund page or 2)your local electronics recycling center.
Worthless! Ripoff!
March 9, 2016
Worthless piece of junk! The only reason it got one star was because it would not let me enter zero starts. I was lured in by the versatility of this product and the price. Well, this time the old saying hits a home run...."you get what you pay for". Card readers are pretty self explanatory but how bout some trouble shooting information in the box or at least a phone number, web site...anything to contact the manufacturers when this piece of plastic waste does not work. There is one stuck on label on the back that states: "Note: when insert CF card please tune the back side upward as shown". I've tried multiple computers, even tried different cables and this piece of junk is dead, a worthless piece of plastic intended to rip people off. You guys know that people won't send it back because the return shipping costs more than the item is worth. You are a disgrace to all those honest people trying to make a living online.
Suffers from Quality Control
September 25, 2015
I received this card reader promptly. It works as advertized but I had to supply my own cable because the one included would not work. As soon as I swapped cables, it worked properly.Update 11-26-2015: I mainly purchased this reader to be able to use it with my CF card. Well, so much for that, one of the pins came off and another one bent. Yet I don't have a problem with the pins attached to the CF socket in my camera. I can pull out the CF card and re-insert it in my camera without any pins bending or coming off. So I must presume the material and stiffness of the pins in this card reader are subpar. So be extra careful manipulating a CF card into place with this card reader.Based on the two issues I've had with this reader, I must update the rating and change it to 1 star.
Looks good but don't buy it.
September 23, 2015
Looks like a good deal, worked intermittently then totally broke, malfunctioned. You'd think you were getting a bargain, seems like a Swiss Army knife of readers, but it often does not work. We've had it for a while and it only worked about 10% of the time, now does not work at all. Tried different USB ports, spent time trying to get it working with different chips. Win keeps telling me that the reader has malfunctioned. I am a former Unix admin, etc so it is not a tech problem, another made in China piece of garbage. Gonna order something else, not this. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, buy something else.
Don't buy if you need a Compact Flash reader!
April 2, 2015
This is the first time I have not been completely satisfied purchasing off Amazon.. and I do a lot of purchasing here. After reading through the reviews, and deciding that the price for prime members was amazing compared to the normal price, I decided to purchase it. I needed a CF reader for my Canon EOS Rebel. It worked like a charm the first three times using it, with two different cards, an EDGE 128MB card and a Kingston 8GB card. After about a week I went to use it again, and got the message from Windows (running 8.1 on a Microsoft Surface Pro) stating that there was a problem with the device and windows does not recognize it. After trying to re-install drivers, disabling/enabling the driver, I decided to try on my Mac Book, that would not recognize it at all, and the desktop running Windows 7, that could not install the driver at all (kept getting a fail error). I took a peek at the pins to realize two were bent despite being careful when inserting and taking out the card. Since it reads more than just a CF card, I guess it is not completely useless (although I dont need it for another card as of right now), so I guess for now I just throw it in the computer accessories drawer and try it again if I ever need a different reader than a CF reader.

You get what you pay for...
September 10, 2017
Thing looked cool but it is CHEAPLY made! Mine literally fell apart inside when I tried to insert an SD card - I mean inside the SD card slot on the unit. Plastic broke off in pieces and now it won't work anymore for an SD card (of course that is the most used card that I have)! My advice: Pay a little more and get something that doesn't fall apart when you try to use it!
This doesn't work. I tried to insert the card and it won't go in.
August 31, 2017
From the beginning, you can tell it's a cheap gadget. It's light as a feather and made of cheap plastic. But then I realized, not only is it cheap material, but it doesn't even work. I tried to insert the card and it won't even go in.
Very disappointed. Down loaded their driver
June 7, 2017
REVISED: Very disappointed. Down loaded their driver. Computer said driver installed successfuly. Does not show up in my computer. OS: Win7/Ultimate. Does show up in computer as a disk drive. Still does not recognize my memory card. Contacted Customer Service twice. My problem with their product ignored. Do not purchase this product.
Ah well.
April 25, 2017
I bought this specifically for the CF slot so was unhappy when it, first, mine did not fit (4GB UDMA6 CF500X Delkin Devices). The reader had two little guides for the card's side channel so I tried filing them down. Once I got it into the reader it failed to recognize the card, which I verified as working by prior use and plugging the camera itself into my computer. I also tried an SD and micro SD card; not working. I didn't spend a lot so I'm not that fussed, just stating the facts, Ma'am. Maybe this is a dud because the other reviews I read seemed mostly happy with its performance.
This card reader CAN DAMAGE YOUR MEMORY CARDS PERMANENTLY!
April 2, 2016
Do NOT buy this card reader. It ruined 2 of my Compact Flash cards. The problem is that it has a really short insert path for the card so it's easy for the card to go in improperly aligned. You think, no big, just pull it out and try again. WRONG!I've had this card reader for 2-3 months and used it a dozen times or so without a problemBUT then this week, somehow, I bent one of the pins on the card reader and when I tried re-inserting, that bent pin somehow damaged my card. When I couldn't get my memory card into the reader, I loaded the card into my Canon camera and used it to off load the photos on the card. When I cleared the memory on my 2GB memory card, my photo count showed 24 when normally it is 108 (RAW & jpg) photos. I tested to be sure. I shot off 24 photos and sure enough, the card full warning came on. I cleared the card and tried again, still only 24 photo capacity. I checked my 4GB memory card, it now only holds 13 photos. At that point, I thought GAME OVER!The reduced photo file count signals to me that some parts of the memory card are damaged, soooooo, I can't trust those cards with my photos. NO WAY! So I dropped the card readers and memory cards in the trash. Time to buy new cards and a better card reader that won't ruin my new memory cards. Anyone have any suggestions?BUYER BEWARE!
this is not a good product..
