Side by Side Comparison of: Very Volatile vs Coconuts by Matisse

Absolutely loved these boots! I'm usually a size 7.5 to 8 and I purchased a size 8. They fit great and they were super comfortable. I originally purchased them to just wear for a wedding/bridesmaid attire, but I loved how they looked and I plan to continue wearing them through boots season! Something to take into consideration: I usually need to get wide-calf boots, but these didn't specify. Probably because the boot doesn't go up too high into the calf area. Because I have wide calves, though, the boot did bunch up a little in the ankle area, but nothing too dramatic.

Just got these, tried them on and they are perfect! They are much better looking in person, the picture doesn't begin to do them justice. I can't comment yet on how they will hold up, I haven't worn them yet, just tried them on but love what I see

They're so cute! They do have a faux leather finish, so they will get scuffed and show obviously underneath, but its not anything that bugs me too much, as you kind of expect a little something on boots. I love how comfortable they are too!

Absolutely love them! I didn't want a pair that looked "brand new" or cheap so I've looked around in shores and online for a while but nothing was right. Impulsively I bought these because I was getting sick of not finding anything and I love them. I got a half a size bigger since boots always fit differently and are fine. They are the rustic style I was looking for and very comfortable!

I got both colors and only kept the BLACK. The brown just looked too cheap to the naked eye. I knew they would not look like "authentic" leather cowboy boots and that's Okay! I wanted fast shipping for a country concert I was attending and the black were the perfect match for my cute new dress. Yes. They're a little stiff and shiny and maybe just a tiny bit cheap looking if you are really inspecting them and you are a cowboy boot consasuer. But, I was standing in a group of people all wearing $400 boots and mine was the ONLY one that got compliments from passers by. Yee-ha!

I bought these for a couple of wedding I was in. I have found myself wearing them for a few other events. They have received compliments and are relatively comfy. The heel/sole seems to be on the cheaper side. I have not had any issues with them falling apart, even after working on a ranch. I am happy with this purchase.

Very cute boot. I have large calves, and these just did not work for me.

Purchased for a wedding to wear with bridesmaid dress. Don't wear boots normally. These are a great price point and look for what I need.

Just got these in the mail today! Haven't worn them out yet because I'm saving them for Stagecoach next weekend. They are slightly big but if I went down a size they would be too small. I planned on wearing my thick socks with them so I'm not worried. Not the best quality but I wasn't looking for super nice boots.For the price they are very cute! I can't wait to wear them next weekend!

Love, love, love these boots! I know they aren't your traditional "cowboy" boots but they're my beginner pair. I love that they are lined unlike traditional ones though. My only complaint is there is zero traction. I'm a clumsy person as it is so I will be investing in some skid resistant thingys for the bottoms so I don't go sliding across the floor!

Somewhat small in the width where the shoes point, and in the calf. I didnt realize how high they came up - higher than my other very volatiles. I also didnt realize there was blue thread, in addition to the cream, on the boots...not a big deal though. I like them. Will keep.. did expect a tad different in comparison to my other very volatiles but no huge deal.

I won't be returning them, but I don't love them. They are a bit on the cheap side.

These were SUPER CUTE I ordered a size 9 cause I generally wear that in boots.. they were huge... I was sad :( I had to return them because I needed them for an event and couldn't wear them.

Thought they were leather, as I had bought some suede ones previously in the same style. That was my fault though. Nice price for western boots, my daughter wears them out!

These are SOOO cute. The only reason I gave them a lower star review is due to the material. The stitching started coming out also.Obviously the price for boots is way higher then what this brand is charging, I wish they would make a more expensive boot that looks exactly like this with real leather and higher quality stitching. So if you're in a bind or just need them for a concert, this will work. Just make sure no one is stepping on your toes or the material on the tip will come off.Once again, these are absolutely adorable.Shipping was as expected.PS: The inside of these boots are soft and cheetah print!!!

These are cute "faux"or "intro" cowboy boots, which is really all I needed. The is a little big, which is great for adding an insole or wearing thick socks. I've gotten compliments on them, but they definitely won't be turning any heads at a rodeo. The finish is a little cheap looking, but if you are looking for a cute pair of cowboy boots and don;t want to drop an insane amount of $$, these will work. I would recommend scuffing the heel some before you go hit the dance floor or you will find yourself on your a$$. I fell twice while walking through my office the first time I wore them... they are super slick,

I had these boots for two days and the heel completely broke. All I did was wear them for a few hours and there's giant holes in the heel part of the boot. They are great boots and they are so cute but so not worth the money paid for them. I'm so disappointed.

I was disappointed in the quality. They even smelled cheap and plastic-y. However, I returned for a full refund without any issues. Otherwise, they fit as expected and weren't uncomfortable.

The boots were beautiful. But, unfortunately they were extremely uncomfortable. I wore them to a country concert, and by the end of the concert I was in agonizing pain. I have blisters on my toes and on the ball of my foot. They were just poorly made. Sucks, because they are absolutely gorgeous.

These are cute boots and were perfect for a country concert I attended, but after just one full day of wearing, the heel busted out. As you can see it is very cheaply made, the heel is hollow. I must have stepped on something and it punctured right on through. I'm pretty bummed these were so short lived :-(

Boots looked great, but the toe turned up way more than in the pictures. It felt like I couldn't stand flat footed which was not comfortable. I ended up returning them, and they were great about issuing a refund.

I'm between a 7 and 7.5, so I started with the 7.5 and they were way too big. I exchanged them for a 7, which wasn't any better. I wouldn't be able to go any smaller because the toe area would be too small, but my heel slipped when I tried to walk. So much so that I don't think an insert wouldn't have helped. The boots seemed like they were made very well, the color (tan) was nice, and they looked great, but the ankle area was just too large. Very disappointing, especially because none of the other reviews I read seemed to have this problem.

One boot feels bigger than the other and there is a major defect to the material of the boot. I wore them once for a wedding and they are splotchy and disclosed. Can I get a refund or some type or amazon coupon? Thank you so much.

HORRIBLE quality. The heal is falling apart on day 30 and they can't be returned. Do NOT buy these boots!!!

Ok - I bought these for my daughter as she loves her cowboy boots. They look great - but right after the 30 days the heels BOTH had holes in them and are essentially unwearable. Amazon says they would exchange them even though it was after the 30 days when I contacted them - however - it's not really worth the money to ship them back. She got more wear out of a pair of $30 boots from Target than these $80 boots.

My daughter had these for one month and the toes are wore down already. Way over priced for the quality.

My daughter and a friend both ordered these boots. They both wore approximately 3 or 4 times. The heals on both girls pairs broke off. They weren't the most expensive boot out there but I would of expected them to last longer than that.
