Side by Side Comparison of: Pomelo vs ORROUS & CO Legacy Collection

Took a while to receive this product, but I knew that going in. The price is beyond good. Had a note included with the item that requested a review, and said that the company that makes it is more or less some young man in China. Anyways I guess the question with this kind of item coming that distance is primarily one of quality.
Does it look the same as in the picture? Yes. It's a pretty good size. I'd say the bigger ball is about the diameter of a nickel, roughly.
Does it look like some cheap hack job? No. It looks to be as well made as any non-precious gem stone jewelry I've purchased.
So that means its decent quality? Yes I would say so. It's the real deal.
Did it arrive quickly? No. But I knew that going in. You're going to be waiting a while to receive it but honestly at this price a increased wait time seems well worth it.
Anything else? I mean it's kind of an unusual style of earring in my opinion. If you like the style then definitely go for it if purchasing for yourself. As a gift, you might be taking a risk but that's really true of any jewelry purchase to some extent. One of those things where either you get a weird look because they don't like it, or they think its trendy, creative, and not boring and you knock it out of the park. Either way its so damn cheap it's hard not to give it a shot.

Arrived on a good timeline before it said it was going to get here. They are very nice not to heavy for how big they are. Still wish they were a little bit smaller on the backside tho. If you have your ears pierced twice it may make it hard to see the Second earring. Over all I do really like it.

wow is all i can say. they are big and awesome on the ears. what a sparkle they have and the background is white . they are so comfortable too not heavy ... everyone looked and stared on how they work on the ear. great new way to wear earrings.

They look amazing! Although I can't get one back to stay on tight. And I also use the clear rubber backs to just wear the front earring to! It's great that you can also wear them 2 ways! So sparkly and shipping was fast! Love them

These are great! Although I thought they would be screw in type they are not they just kinda pop into place. That's the only concern that they will get caught on a shirt and I will loose one. They do feel secure though in my ear. You cannot see the ball behind my ear of your looking from the front. Maybe I have weird ears!

These earrings are prettier in person than shown online, they are so well made, looks like the real thing. sparkles so much~Fit easy on the ear, I do have to wear another back with them for they want to flop over just a tad~I am very happy with this purchase, I think you will be too! They have a smooth surface, not ruff as some earrings can be! I have received many compliments on these!

Even though I received these a few days ago, I waited to do this review for a specific reason. When I have bought plated/cubic earrings in the past , I hate hate hate that if I wore them in the shower a couple times, they would eventually get all cloudy and dirty looking. I don't always take off my earrings but once I saw they no longer looked shiny, I would take them off and clean them. Granted you should be cleaning your ears as well but for times I slept with them then woke up and showered and headed out the door, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has gone a few days wearing the same earrings. Well I wanted to see what these would do and I must say several showers later they're still not cloudy! Nor are they turning my ear green. I will clean these earrings eventually, more out of habit not cause they need it yet but this made me very happy. I also love that they came with 2 sets of backs as shown in photo. Delivery was fast, the size of these is perfect. They will definitely be my every day earrings to wear to work. I'm thinking of getting another pair just in case I lose them since I'm notorious for that.

 These 18k White Gold Plated Cubic Zirconia Cushion Shape Halo Stud Earrings (1.90 carats) by ORROUS & CO are STUNNING. They come in an elegant black velvet box and include flat back backings – so helpful if you lose the backs! The photos on Amazon do not show the tiara-like detail on the back of the earrings, so I have included a photo to show you. Honestly, these do not look like twenty dollar earrings – they look MUCH nicer than that. I received a small discount off these earrings in pursuance of my review. I love anything sparkly and these feminine earrings are perfect to dress up any outfit. They aren’t too glitzy and don’t look like costume jewelry at all. I really was shocked when I opened the box! I love them.

It's officially 10 days since I got these earrings and I haven't taken them off! They're really pretty and the perfect size. I haven't had any problems with them falling off by accident like other stud earrings, these are pretty sturdy. Quality is good so far, the picture is a size comparison to the earphones and my face. The earrings are not too small but not too big

Love these! I'll admit the quality is not incredibly amazing but for what you pay they really are worth it. They sparkle beautifully and will definitely be worn for dress up occasions. They are a tiny bit heavy, but not too bad.

The larger balls are smaller than all of the other tribal style studs. They're very sparkly and pretty though!

These earrings are fairly large and quite brilliant! I do like my bling! My only criticism is that they're quite heavy and I have to use some disc earring backs to keep them sitting on my ear lobes correctly. As they're only gold plated, not white gold, I won't be wearing them everyday (but I teach students with Special Needs, so I wouldn't wear them to school anyway)! They will be the perfect accessory for a dress-up evening!

Orrous and Co Legacy did not disappoint on this one. This is one beautiful stud earrings. I got it for my Mom in white gold and aquamarine stone since that's her birthday month. To be honest, I had it on before giving to her. And since my original plan was to give it to her anyway. Lol!Anyway, I'm giving it 4 stars based on my Mom's feedback. She said she would prefer it to be in gold. I told her white gold looks more elegant that yellow gold. But I guess, her preference is more on the yellow gold. But she still loves the earrings regardless. I will post pics once she wakes up from her nap. Don't wanna get on her bad side. I purchased two pair of these earrings - one with a clear center stone (which I gave as a gift), the other in yellow (which I kept). I am VERY pleased with both pair; they are a nice size with a LOT of sparkle, but not so much as to make them seem fake.the setting I chose was the white gold PLATED; it looks very nice, and has yet to fade, peel, or chip. I don't wear them everyday, but I have worn them quite a few times, and have not had ANY problems with them turning dull, nor has sensitivity been an issue. the posts are of a generous length, which is nice for someone like me who has hypertrophic scars around their piercings. the back of the setting is very nice; a very pretty open lattice or flower pattern which allows light to shine through the earrings, making them more reflective and sparkly.the yellow center stone is a TRUE yellow, as the picture shows - a "lemony, sunshine" yellow. if you were looking for something more honey or amber colored, these are not the ones for you. the clear center stone is perfectly clear; no greyness or "frosted" appearance that is characteristic of low-quality CZs. both are faceted in such a way that they catch the light without being too ambitious or flashy, even in low light, and they pass my "fluorescent light test" - most low-quality CZs have a tendency to "wash out" in fluorescent lighting and lose ALL semblance of sparkle, but these do not; the clear sparkled more than the yellow, but both still look nice.I also like the fact that these come with TWO pair or earring backs - one butterfly, one bullet - which is VERY nice if you should happen to lose one. they were also presented in a nice, black "velvet" box; VERY nice for gift-giving, and a welcome change from the usual paper box with a cheap little ribbon, (or even worse, a plastic baggie) in which most earrings at this price point are presented.my ONLY cons are the fact that the posts are not centered on these earrings; they are positioned on the top corner, which means they have to be worn in a "diamond" configuration (the "points" going up and down), rather than a square - admittedly, a minor detail. second, the supplied butterfly backs are VERY small; something you'd expect to see on a child's earrings. I switched them out with larger ones that I bought separately in bulk (I lose earring backs ALL the time!), and they worked out fine.overall, these are very nice earrings, considering the price. the fact that they are available in multiple colors makes it nice for those looking to match their earrings to a certain outfit (IF ONLY PURPLE OR AMETHYST WERE AN AVAILABLE OPTION...). though they are costume, they are nicely appointed so as to give a more genuine appearance. I highly recommend these earrings, and am going to purchase another pair of the clear for myself!

LOVE THEM!!!!! Immediately ordered another pair as a gift...and will get another as a backup!!! Look SO real!!!! My daughter wears good stuff....and was blown away. I don't wear any because I won't compromise. But THESE???? Superb!!!!

These are a nice quality and against the black box they come in they sparkle as soon as you open them. The size is not too large and not too small, they look believable. 4 stars because I don't like how the center stone isn't flush with the halo. It sticks out a tad, I wanted it flat with the halo so I did return.

--- This is a review of the 18k White Gold Plated Cubic Zirconia stud earrings. *I was offered a free pair for an honest review*I'll be honest, when I first agreed to review Orrous's Legacy Collection I wasn't really expecting much. I was convinced that the price alone (which rivals those of accessory stores found in malls) was an obvious tell of their quality. I was wrong. In fact, I was not only happy with this beautiful pair of earnings I found waiting for me on my doorstep one day (in a pretty black jewelry box) I was impressed with them.First, lets talk about size. They are 1.9 carats which in layman's terms means they are roughly a quarter of an inch in diameter. Yes, I know...that sounds small when you put it that way, but I assure you...these puppies aren't tiny. I have what I like to refer to as giganto-lobes and this pair of earrings adequately covers them. (I've attached a picture so you can get a better feel for the size.)The cut of the stone is especially nice (though I couldn't tell you what it is called to save my life...go figure) what I CAN tell you? It allows maximum sparkle. Which, incidentally, draws everyone's eye. I have had more compliments on this one pair of earring than ANY other pair I have ever purchased. (Even the ones I've thrown down some serious dough for.) They are just that pretty.The only real flaw I found was with the backs. They come with a pair of friction backs (aka: the little metal backs found on 70% of posts.) Normally, I don't have an issue with them (despite the fact that they aren't my favorite) but the pair of backs I received REFUSED to hold. (Even after pinching them a little) I went so far as to speculate that it was just my abnormally large earlobes causing the problem, but nope...the posts themselves are plenty long. The fact of the matter was, they were just plain crap. (I lost both in the first week.) BUT...never you fear...I took a pair of rubber backers (my personal favorite) off of another pair of Orrous earring I received and the problem was solved. (I stimulating game of ring-a-round the backers never hurt anyone right? Right!)At the end of the day, I love these earrings. They are a great size, lightweight, sparkly and eye catching. Just what a pair of earrings should be.

I absolutely love these earrings.. I get so many compliments on them, however this is my 3rd pair.. they keep breaking. The front ball comes off the post.

They were smaller then I thought they would be, but overall its okay because I need small for the type of job I do.

Receive them today....they are extremely small, NOT what I was expecting at all. They look way bigger in the pics. But hey, you get what you pay for. Also, the 925 stamp is on the earring bar just in case you are searching for it.

Pretty earrings but the bottoms are way too huge. It's really unessecary for these earrings to cost all that money when the bottoms are super huge which makes it look unflattering.

Take time to read the reviews and many reviewers posted photos wearing them. Mine took about a month to arrive. They are very sparkly and I don't see any imperfections. The earring portion considered the back is probably 8x larger than the front. I made the mistake and didn't realize this when purchasing. The photos posted from the seller are not accurate on the girl, they are much much larger. Although as long as you can insert the stem from the back in, you could wear it the other way around. I may look and see if I have two regular type earring backings that will fit the smaller crystal stem and not use the very large ball.

Nice but way too big. Bought for my teen daughter. Thought they would be smaller. It's ok, guess she can grow into them before getting the real thing. They are pretty.

I ordered these a month ago and not only did they take forever to get here, but when I found out it was going to be more than a week I couldn't cancel the order, even though they hadn't shipped yet. They look fine, but the 2nd pair of earring backs (which I was happy to see) didn't fit the earrings and I thought I was bending the stud trying to get them in. I don't feel like they're worth the price when you could get a similar pair from any department store for cheaper, but since they're here finally, I'm honestly too lazy to return them lol

This very beautiful, believable earrings..... Disappointed on how they set on the ear the weight is off for me personally they keep tilting down. I'm thinking one of the round clear disc backings might counterbalance them

These are nice to just wear with a pair of jeans. I thought they would look too flashy but these are very discreet. I like the size because its not overwhelming like i thought it would be. Great color and design.

I was looking for Art-Deco style pair of earrings. Although they may appear square on some photos, they are round and therefore don't look as vintage as I was expecting. They came in a nice box but somehow did not come with backings. They are sparkly and I discovered that 1.9 carat was just too big for my taste.

Looked really pretty and from top view it actually looked real comparing it with my cushion cut diamond engagement ring. With that being said, the con of this product is that it is quite big and heavy and if you look at the side and see the setting that is where it gives everyone an idea that it is just fancy jewelry because it was made too chunky. I have this product for 5 months now and it has not tarnished yet, although I am not using this everyday.

Really pretty... But missing 4 stones on arrival. Then when i opened them 2 more fell off in my hands. Poor quality.

They're pretty. But right out of the bag, 3 diamonds had already fallen off and they keep going. Both earrings are also bent as well. Cheap product. But that's what you get for the money!

much smaller than anticipated

These are bigger than expected, but very pretty. I only received one pair out of the two I ordered. I have also sent two messages that have gone unanswered.

These earrings are too heavy. The rhinestone finish on them is uneven. I don't like the way they sit on the ear.

These earrings are actually ALOT larger that they appear in this picture they are not small classic studs you can wear. The front ball piece is about the size of a mint ball and the back is the size of a eraser.

These are beautiful but after wearing them twice the entire post just fell off on my ear. So disappointed.

Good size, pretty package, very sparkley , looks expensive BUT, took 16 days for delivery, will cut some slack due to it was ordered Prime day. Does turn skin that grey/green color this is annoying (may try clear nail polish to prevent, we will see).For price they are they are comfortable, good size and pretty, go with everything

These have a beautiful shine but the problem is they are bulky and hang very low on the lobe as if you don't have a back on them.

They are beautiful but they hurt my ears. I was hoping they were good quality because of the price but they feel like way cheap earrings. I can't wear them for long. I don't consider myself to be sensitive either so if you have sensitive ears do not buy these

Loved everything about these until they started to turn green. It took about a month to notice the green color. I thought since they were coated with the white gold it would not turn colors on me. I loved the look of these and would have gave 5 stars if they hadn't turned green. Maybe if you don't wear them much they will last a lot longer.

Beautiful looking but post broke off after 4 x wearing . So sad , loved the earrings. They were 8.00$ so I guess you get what you pay for.

They looked exactly as pictured me came on time I however just thought the back of it was slightly to big and ddnt like them and ended up giving them away

Extremely disappointed in this product.These earrings, although extremely cute, unique and "affordable," are made of such poor quality that they broke just after wearing them a few times. My advice - invest in a higher quality earring that will last you longer than a week.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Product came in bent and the backing was dried clay. I couldn't even remove the earrings!!! But I guess you get what you pay for...well I did at least.

I specifically searched for nickel free earrings and these were shown on the results and both of my ears are swollen due to an allergic reaction from them being made out of nickel. I'm disappointed :(

nice earrings. good size and so pretty. unfortunately, my ears had a terrible reaction to this product, and i had to send them back. i do recommend them, but if you have sensitive skin like i do, just beware. good company to buy from. and as always, amazon is amazing.
