Gorgeous piece! Amazing sound, and a great conversation starter.
VERY COOL!!!!
December 31, 2014
I have been thinking about getting this system for at least 4 months. Finally decided to take the plunge and I have to tell you....I love it!!! It's pretty big so you need o make sure you have plenty of space especially the height. So far so good!!! If you are into steam punk you will love it. Really cool set up. Took me about 20 minutes to get everything setup.
Happy consumer with Amazon and Product
July 24, 2014
Perfect. Sound is great for what the device is being used for in the home, smaller room. Everything works great. The horn holes needed adjustment, but thank god for my husband. . Plays CDs, and records great, plus the radio is very nice.Have not tried the other features (tape deck, aux jack hook-up, and computer hook-up); but those are only bonuses for us. We bought the product based on the look, the radio, and the turn table for our child to learn.Excited to use the aux jack / docking for Samsung phone.Top notch quality, and definitely would suggest this purchase to others buying from Amazon.
Beautiful
June 24, 2014
I love the vintage look on this item! I had ordered a previous product similar to this one and it arrived defective. I was so disappointed and after talking with an Amazon rep she suggested this one. I was reluctant to order this. I am happy to say that I love it. It is actually better than the other one I ordered and even nicer looking. The horn is not bright gold as it seems to show in the picture. Bonus for me because I was concerned that the gold color would be too much. It is just a regular brass color. The sound is good and everything else seems to work just fine.
Phonograph
February 1, 2014
Great vintage phonograph, brings back memories, and able to play LP's, 45's and record cassettes and CD's. Quality and material exceeds expectations. Shipped promptly without any defects and wasn't damaged during shipment.

Big Fan!
July 7, 2017
I have several Pyle speakers. Big fan. Im replacing a crosley suit case thats has turn table issues. In its defense it was pretty old. This one took up the same space. I only get 2 stations on the radio ...antenna might not be very strong or user error :). But over all great sound. Super deal.
She loved the design
February 2, 2017
It was a gift for our daughter. She loved the design. Was easy to set up and we were listening to a nice sounding unit within minutes.
Love it!
December 28, 2016
Bought this as a Christmas gift for a loved one. They loved it! Yes, everything is all plastic and the speakers aren't that great, but you have the option to plug better speakers into the back and the music is amazing! You can also plug in an Aux cord to play music from your phone through the speakers. Just remember to remove the Aux cord when you're ready to play a record again, otherwise the turntable won't move. ;0)
What a GREAT turntable!
December 19, 2016
This turntable is awesome. It has many capabilities beyond just playing vinyl! We love it. We also love the way it looks - exactly as pictured.
Great for Transferring 78 rpm Records Direct to USB Flash Drive
December 30, 2014
I got this unit to transfer 78 rpm records direct to USB jump/thumb drives. Following the simple instructions, all went perfectly right out of the box transferring a 12" 78 rpm record straight to our attached 16 Gig flash drive with ease. The speakers sound Very Small, but what do you expect (?) We connected an inexpensive pair of portable stereo speakers and it vastly improves the sound.
Nicer than expected
July 17, 2014
This record player is great retro fun. Every single person that has come into our house has commented on it and checked it out. It was a little nicer than I expected which is always nice. Sounds great. A lot of fun to listen to all those old albums.

I love it...the record player is pretty low but that's ok.its hard to read the gold nobbs. the radio comes in nice and clear.i have not used the CD player yet or the tape player yet.it play my records with out scratching so far...and it looks great.
I have had this for nearly a year and it looks good. It has inspired many comments
November 13, 2014
Here's the whole truth. I have had this for nearly a year and it looks good. It has inspired many comments. And people who don't know better think it's real. The good news: The turntable has been reliable. The radio is superb. I live in a rural area with a lot of trees and I can pick up channels from the nearest big cities other fine radios could not. I have not tried the cassette player. The bad news: the disk player has never worked particularly well. If you're into looks, have a lot of records, and listen to a lot of radio, it's great. If you're buy it for the cd or mp3 disk, it's not worth a damn.
Very nice
May 7, 2014
Love it, very decorative, decent sound. Good workmanship. Easy to assemble. Looks good in any room. Great for family room
Almost five starts
October 11, 2013
This plays beautifully I would give it five stars if the screws all had fit perfectly. And the horn when putting it together actually met up with its attachments correctly. I ended up having to bend a few things just to get it in the correct positions.
Its a keeper
April 22, 2013
Okay first I bought the Pyle-Home PTCDS3UIP which I like a great deal, and due to my strangely acquired gramophone mania I ended up buying this model later also.Let me say first that personally I feel this one is a slightly cheaper 'budgeted' version of the 3UIP in many respects: the cabinet is decent and solid with a nice finish, but this unit only has 2 extra speakers, whereas the other model has 3 with a nice little enclosed bass box giving it more kick. The horn on the other model is slightly more expensive, and the UIP has remote control, a larger turntable, a slightly better quality LCD indicator and a USB player I use a lot. However this model is not without its benefits- the more ordinary looking phono arm has an auto stop and auto drop feature which the UIP does not have, a much superior radio tuner (gets about 1/3 more stations) and it has some usb-to-computer capability and software that I've never used. The vinyl record player is as I said easier to use and has more features. The CD player is rather cheaper and I didn't like the sound quality the UIP I thought was better and louder. However the radio strange enough is fine. CDs just would just only play so loud, and no louder. The appearance is that they made this model later, improved the radio, added more features to the phono player and then looked around for little ways to cut costs everywhere else. All in all I can say the stuff that matters to me more is better on the 3UIP, but I suppose they're both of equal value in total, perhaps the UIP wins the edge and is worth a little more overall. However, this radio grows on you, and I just couldn't bring myself to return it. Both models are pretty cool looking. If you're looking for vintage charm and not so picky about sound, want to get pick up a lot of stations and maybe listen to the ball game or play some old 33s, or definitely old time radio dramas, audiobooks.... this will do the job just fine and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Looks nice, sound is average
July 18, 2012
This is a modern looking version of an old phonograph, but the sound quality sounds old-fashioned. The horn looks a little more cheap than I thought it would, but overall it fits nicely in our living room. We have a 12x12 room and the sound literally FILLS the room! It definitely comes out of the horn and it is hard to control the level of volume. The install went well and it ended up being a very unique and useful gift--officially got my boyfriend into record collecting now!

Turntable looks good and sounds great.
July 28, 2016
Purchased this for our family room. Perfect size and sound for our needs.
Great product, bad speakers.
February 1, 2016
It's great I love the vinyl sound. I've listened to vinyl records my whole life and this product met my expectations. Only downside is my speakers when trying to listen to the radio don't work well at all. It was great for about four months and then one day it no longer worked. Overall great product, definitely worth the money!
Great looking, functional record player.
September 29, 2015
The player looks great and worked OK. It sounded as vintage as it looked, if the speakers were better it wouldn't have that tinny nostalgic sound. The material seemed a little flimsy, but in good condition. The display lights are really cool and authentic looking. Not something a serious vinyl collector would be looking for.

Great Value: Rediscover Your Old Vinyl
January 1, 2015
I received this record player for Christmas and it has met and exceeded my expectations. It is a great value and with care should last many years. The joy of rediscovering my records and introducing my kids to some old 78's that I have was wonderful. The speakers aren't bad or you can plug it into some modern speakers to improve the sound.
Great.

Great player at a great price. Just missing a CD player. Totally recommend it to serious listeners and beginners alike.

It does the job
September 25, 2015
Very hard to assemble, needed power tools, not the small screwdriver that they provided. Sound quality is OK, metal of the horn is a bit lightweight.

July 5, 2015
Upon receiving the player, my 33 Vinyls would not play without skipping and the table itself had a horrible wobble. I had to disassemble the face plate so that I could access the turntable wiring/harness. I then added a wedge to the plastic frame, and put two screws in the top of the player to tighten the turntable down. After doing this and purchasing a better needle, all of my Vinyls will now play. IF you want to spend extra time fixing this unit, go for it; it is worth the effort. If you want a plug and play, look elsewhere.Apart for the horn being a more Antique Brass, opposed to Bright Brass, the unit was exactly as pictured.
Stylish, little instructions for using all it's features.
October 2, 2014
Stylish. Looks decent. It came with some sort of computer minidisk I can't get to do anything with.It also has a digital port the likes ofwhich I've never seen before. The radio is a dial, so there are nopresets.
I am frustrated with the BAD. Here they are
July 12, 2014
James is totally correct with "THE BAD". I am copying here as well because he is right. I had the hardest time assembling the horn together because the damn 2 sets of screws weren't lining up. Never did and I bent the horn. I don't know how I'm going to get it to work. It's frustrating. However, the Phonograph does play the records well. And that is what I wanted. Still though, I am frustrated with the BAD. Here they are...and thank you James Webster. I agree with you wholeheartedly. The Bad:1) There were 2 sets of pre-drilled holes for the speaker horn, only one set of which would have resulted in the horn sitting straight and perpendicular to the cabinet once mounted. Align the fitting first and choose which set works.2) The screws used to attach the horn brace to the cabinet at cheap cheap cheap. Twisted the head off of one of them as I assembled it Christmas Eve. There's no excuse for this and my guess is that the factory in China did a switcheroo between the screws that were specified and the screws the factory actually bought.3) The workmanship on the brace piece was pretty awful, a piece of flat, gold-colored aluminum bar bent to approximately the shape it needed to be. I know it sounds like I'm harping on the brace, but it was so poorly done that Pyle should probably look at replacing either the design engineer or the factory that produced it.4) The instruction sheet was essentially unreadable. Tiny diagram, tiny print (like 6-7 point) and clearly Google translated. There's not a huge amount of documentation needed, but what documentation there is should be useable.5) The turntable, tone arm, switches and tone arm lift and switches are cheap. Again, you don't expect a pro-grade turntable when you're making a purchase like this. And for the occasional user, the record player will likely be just fine.I have not tried the USB-to-PC recording. But you should know that it's a somewhat complex process involving your PC and loading a recording application on your computer. I have not run the CD that's included, but it reads simply "Driver" so I don't know if it includes the recording software. And know also that ripping vinyl is not for the faint of heart. This isn't a criticism of the record player, it's just a warning that this record player doesn't have the ease of use and drag-n-drop we've come to expect.

Ordered this unit for the Bright Brass horn. Received an antique dull horn. My wife is far less than happy.
Radio does not work
January 16, 2013
The radio does not work on this item. The record player and CD works fine but I don't really want to go through the process of fixing the radio so I'll let it go for now. The sound is pretty good. More of a novelty than anything. My wife was surprised and likes it so that's good.

Cool look. radio doesn't work well at all. All we can get is the local station. sound is alright.
decent turntable, below average speakers.
January 31, 2015
I ordered this because my Sony stopped working, luckily I got it for eighty dollars as a amazon warehouse deal. It has a nice retro look and is very light which makes it portable but it doesn't seem very durable. The biggest draw back is the below average sound, the treble is to high and the bass is way too low. I connected it to my stereo receiver and the sound improved a little but it's still not great. As for the MP3 encoding it works great, just plug in a USB stick drive and press record you can separate the tracks with the remote, but again your recordings are going to have too much treble and not enough bass. I'm going to keep this turntable as a nice portable second player but I've already ordered a audio technica to be my main unit. All in all I give it a 3.5, it's a decent, portable turntable with a cool retro look, but I wouldn't pay full price for it, 70 - 80 dollars is all it's worth.

Looks cute and okay sound
April 20, 2013
This is a nice looking turntable but the sound is just okay, not especially rich in tone. Everything can be played, so it is better than the system I had that was broken. But the sound reminds me (I'm a baby boomer) of a little phonograph I had in junior high to play my 45s on. I will be looking to upgrade as soon as I can, to something that does my extensive collection of well-loved vinyl records justice.

The look was great, but it was uneven and caused my records to skip. The wood was cheap as well. The gold horn wasn't gold, more so a dark rusted looking color.
doesnt play vinyl well.

The needle is too light to play vinyl records. It skips like crazy. I had to put two nickels on top of needle wrapped with elastic bands as weight. Doesn't look old fashioned. Looks like a fake wood and plastic replica

Defective unit
April 28, 2012
I really wanted this to work because its a beautiful piece and awesome idea to have an all in one. I bought it for my husband for our anniversary and unfortunately had to send it back (full refund!). Putting the pieces together was a pain. The screws and screw holes of the horn and horn arm support didnt line up to the unit so we couldnt fully set it up. The turntable didnt look completely attached and we tried to play a vinyl record but it was definitely broken. The arm is made of plastic and isnt heavy enough. The CD player didnt work and emitted a high pitch ringing sound which was a little annoying. The only part of the unit that worked was the radio and it seemed to have great sound. Wish it all worked out :-\ it truly is gorgeous. If you do decide to buy this I hope it all works for you. At least amazon and amazon sellers have great return policies. Double check that before you buy. And just a heads up, you may want to measure the horn size because it was pretty big in person.

Totally fake! I don't recommend!
December 10, 2013
Don't trust on the image: there is NO CD compartment! USB entrance does not recognize iphone/ipad, it's probably only for flash drives. Also the sound quality is awful, totally recommended to buy external speakers. On my opinion, too expensive for only a turntable, considering that the other features are almost useless. I don't recommend.
Lid Won't Open Far Enough
July 30, 2013
This is the second player I've tried to buy from Amazon. The first was a Jensen that didn't turn fast enough. This one did, however the lid wouldn't open far enough to let the record sit flat on the turntable, meaning the far end of the record sits on the lip of the lid, partially off the the table. This messes up the sound, and worse, could scratch records. I was pretty certain I had taken off all packaging materials, so I don't believe there was anything there keeping it the way it was. When I pushed the lid back more, the sound itself was good, the way it should've been, but the lid wasn't staying that way. Also, I put a 45 on to test sound and it stopped with about 30 seconds left of the song. Not sure what the problem was there, but this will now be the second record player I've had to send back.

February 27, 2016
I bought this record player which did not work, returned it and recieved a new one that did not work.. both record players skipped horribly and had a very faulty base and arm. This is a defective product and I would not recommend buying it.
Cheap product, not worth your money.
January 20, 2015
Cheaply made. Do not purchase it!The horn is dark plastic and looks nothing like the advertisement. It is not brass (although it is described as one). I called Pyle and ask them specifically if it brass or not, they said that it is not. The sound quality is mediocre. I would not recommend it.
I wasn't really satisfied with the sound quality
January 12, 2015
Unfortunately, after assembling the record player, it didn't work. The turntable was somehow not level, so the record would wobble as it played, causing it to skip. After speaking with the manufacturer, I was told that the item must have arrived broken, and to send it back. I personally opted to return vs. exchange because aside from the malfunctioning turntable, I wasn't really satisfied with the sound quality, either. It sounded very tinny, and overall I just wasn't impressed. Despite arriving broken, the record player itself looked really nice, and in that regard it was as I expected, but because of the sound not being great, I just ended up returning the malfunctioning piece instead of exchanging it.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
May 14, 2014
I chose this as a one star because when I received the package today, it didn't have of the accessories needed for assembly ie. the screws. I was fine with that because there were extra screws in the house, but the main reason I give this one star is when I plugged it in, there was no power. I get it that this was a used and an open box purchase but you would think that this company would check to make sure this product worked before sending it out.
Pretty much for looks.
June 25, 2013
I was so excited to get this turntable because it looked stunning and played all three speeds of vinyl. Now, I wish I hadn't even discovered it. When I installed the horn, I found that the holes were too small and out of alignment. We had to bend the support bracket and drill bigger holes into the arm. The horn, I found, sits too low and in the way. The turnable itself was lose and didn't sit right in the cabinet. As for playing records, forget it. The arm is not heavy enough and skips over the record unless you hold it. The CD player's only function was opening the tray, which is flimsy and cheap. Couldn't get a CD to play, and I didn't even dare try the cassette player. Didn't want it to eat a tape. Only two of the three speakers worked and the radio seemed to be the only working function on the machine. I didn't even bother with USB recording. Line-In for iPod worked fine. Also, the horn is not shiny and brass colored, but rather dark with an antique finish, like the other Horn Turntable Pyle offers. I preferred the antique finish, but just a warning. It's an all around piece of crap, and I'm getting a refund and through the thing in the trash.

Two weeks later, no record player.I'm filing a complaint on the Pyle Audio Company. I wish I had read all the reviews about the slowness. This thing has cost me over $175 and we don't even have our non-functional unit back! They are a "Pyle" for sure.

What a disappointment!
January 2, 2015
This unit worked well on a handful of vinyl tunes but then, when playing both LPs and 45s over the course of an afternoon, the rpm started fluctuating. It would slow down, return to the correct speed, slow down some more, again return to the correct speed, slow down, etc., etc. All these speed variations can really ruin a record-listening experience. Also, the turntable stopped more than once before reaching the end of the record, for no apparent reason. It didn't matter whether I had the turntable set on "auto stop" or not.I've returned this item for a refund and plan on shopping for a better-quality record player.
