The fish go absolutely crazy over this food. They love it. From now on, we won't be buying anything else. And I love this big bag--what a bargain. Only downside is the zipper broke pretty quickly, but no harm done. It's just a zipper. The quality of food and the bargain is what we appreciate most.

Bought as a Prime Day deal. My koi absolutely love this food the best. And you can feed this in spring and fall if you live in colder areas, too. I've tried other foods, which they will eat, but if you want to see a feeding frenzy, feed this, om nom nom.

This was a great deal as a supplement to and sometimes the main meal for my sister's Koi. She has a little pond with about 8 Koi in it, and I ordered this to see how they would like it. It turns out that this economical package of Koi food lasted a very long time and the Koi love it.

Oh my! We got 28 goldfish in our 450 gallon tank pond and they turn into little piggies when we feed them with these sticks. I've read some other reviews that say this food will tint your white fish a bit yellow. I can say that yes some of my fish to get a yellowish tint, while some do not. I am using less and mixing with other foods to reduce the yellowing. Although I don't really mind and neither do the fish.

Our fish are thriving. We switch between this and the fall winter blend since our fish are outdoors. They are goldfish, not koi, but I figured that they are close enough and there's no reason our goldfish shouldn't also get Vibrance! LOL

Tetra Pond Koi Vibrance Floating Pond Sticks is the only food that I have used for my koi for the past 5 years. There is little waste produced from the food and my koi love it. This particular bag that I recently ordered is an awesome value. It is the largest bag that I have received and the price was very reasonable.The pond sticks are light and float on the surface. They become softer in the water which makes this a great food for even smaller koi. Our koi were about 4 inches in length when we first got them and are now close to a foot and a half long. The colors of our koi are very vibrant from this food mixture. This variety is meant for feeding during the warm months. There is a spring/fall blend for opening and closing of season.

Have used this food for all five years that I've had a goldfish pond. The fish LOVE it and are so pretty. And are as old as the pond! 🐠😍

Good resealable packaging and air tight slider. Food is definitely not as dense as some of the Hikari feeds and the smaller fish have an easier time "chewing" it. Gets soft in about a minute and the smallest fish, 2" can pick at it. My Koi REALLY don't like it, but goldfish seem content. I fed Cobalt sinking Spiralina and Brine Shrimp pellets before and now the koi just stare at me in judgement when I feed them this. It really looks like small cheetos with the same consistency and color. Wouldn't buy again unless I get a larger setup to supplement other feeds, but not going to trash it. My koi are just spoiled. 4 star just because these really have an artificial color like cheetos.

I have been using this product for 3 years. My fish love it, it floats. My only complaint is on the packaging of the 16.5 lbs.... I would like for it to not be packaged in an unidentifiable plain blue plastic bag (looks like a baby blue colored trash bag)... there are NO markings! And, it's pretty thin... not like an industrial strength bag. I find this misleading, but I still buy the product, each year hoping they will improve the packaging, but the bulk price makes it worth this inconvenience/dislike.

Great food, the koi love it, only minus would be they are too big for the auto fish feeder that I have.

My fish like this food. They have been eating it for 4 years and not one of my fish has gotten sick or died. Thus, it must have the right nutrition for large adult KOI and I appreciate it that I can buy this really large container at a discount so I only have to buy fish food about once every 2 months. Good product. As for it enhancing their color, I have not noticed anything yet. (2 months and counting)

I've used this food almost exclusively for my outdoor goldfish pond. The fish are healthy and always growing!

Excellent bulk pricing for this item. I thought I would change up the koi food thinking it would add vibrance as the maker states. I cant see any difference so i'm going back to the regular food.

I have a 1200 gallon pond and 6 koi. one is a 2.5 ft butterfly koi and everyone else is around 14 - 18 inches or so. they Loved this food. I am no longer a fan.it took a few months of feeding but it has started to turn my beautiful white koi Yellow/orange. looking through the reviews I realized that this is a common thing. also, it turned out beautifully bright yellow koi a very "goldfish" kind of orange. even though I still have a fair amount of this food left, I won't be feeding it anymore. I hope their colors go back to normal after we stop...

It's my fault for ordering the wrong product. I wanted a discount on bulk food for my small gold fish.

My rating and concern is for any product that floats.I learned the HARD WAY that Koi must eat their food under the surface. I had purchased this product twice because of the reviews plus it was so enjoyable to watch them eat on the surface. They really put on an pleasurable show of it. Looking back, I realized I overfed them too. All the Koi in my pond couldn't get enough. Good for our (somewhat selfish) enjoyment with the thinking they are HAPPY when, in fact, detrimental. My Koi loved this product as if it were a candy to people with a sweet tooth.Recently, my favorite Koi died a slow probably very uncomfortable death. For the past four days, I tried to nurse him back by placing in a separate tank, propped him up and on and on. I researched the web and books that I already had as well as consulting with an expert in person. The diagnoses by all accounts are "Swim Bladder Failure". The result of surface eating, as well as too much. Live and learn from my mistake. Won't bring the being back but may help others.More than anything I'm critical of myself as opposed to the product. I think the product is very good; it's just the method of using it the consumer should know. The best expert advice I have found (and that's a lot) is if you want to use this product, soak it first then squeeze prior to putting in your pond. This will allow it to sink. This is the best and expert recommended method. Or, better yet purchase food that will sink on its own. Also, as tempting as it may be, try not to overfeed.Another fact I learned is that this illness affects the larger fish first (normally that is). Now I'm using a recommended food that will sink. The Koi have a robust sense of smell and WILL find it just fine. Also various books on Koi will say the same.Hopefully, this will help someone (or better yet many) in preventing to what occurred to my favorite Koi.

Our Koi do well on this food, so I ordered several 5 pound bags to get us through the summer. However, the actual bags have changed from last year. Whereas before they were easy to zip open and closed, and had a handle built in, now they do not have either of those features. In fact, the bag is practically impossible to seal between feedings. And it is very bulky and awkward to carry out to the pond now that there is no handle built in to the bag. I don't understand why the company would change these two features, it doesn't make any sense. I am going to have to find a suitable container now, to pour 5 pounds of fish food in to, that will have a handle and that I can close properly in between Koi feedings. Very disappointed.

This food makes a mess. Its very light and starts to fall apart as soon as it hits the water. My water was cloudy within a week of using it.

Received box with fish food and lounger that I ordered. Unknown to me the fish food broke open and was loose inside the box...that wasn't the worse part-fine dust from the fish food leaked out of the box and was all over the lounger box as well as my kitchen counter and floor. The size of fish food was priced well compared to that available in this area, however, I don't think the clean up made it worth it.

Package was impossible to open without tearing it up. Food looked like and supposedly was the same formula as the color sticks but my fish got sick and threw up the food after 2 days of eating it. One fish did not recover. Spend the extra money and buy the color sticks.

My fish won't eat this shipment of food! I have used this brand for 2-3 years and they usually love it. It has always arrived packaged as seen on its Amazon page. This time it arrived in two, plain plastic bags In a brown cardboard box with a Tetra-Pond label on the outside. There was no way to reseal once opened and I had to purchase a suitable container. The normal Tetra-Pond bag has a resealing mechanism. Since these two plain bags are obviously not factory packaged, I am now unsure of its freshness as the fish will not eat it. Big $$ waste.

This very expensive bag of fish food had mold and clumps of mold together in the bag. It obviously had water damage.

The bag arrived broken open and the zipper closer doesn't work. It was a waist of money. I need the bag replaced.

This food hasn't done anything for the color of my fish, and I waited for a while before making this comment asto give it as much time as possible to work and not be told that I commented too soon.I will say that the fish do seem to like eating it...
