Five Star Reviews: | 61% Stay put and don't irritate skin March 1, 2017 My daughter loves these Band-Aids but they are hard to find in the stores. We were glad to find these on Amazon. They stick well and stay on for a long time. Just What I Needed for my Big Toe!! August 27, 2016 I lost the nail on my big toe, and these bandages were perfect for protecting my toe until the nail could grow back. Just put on Neosporin and one of these bandages every day until the wound healed. They fit perfectly and are very durable and adhere really well. I ordered more just to keep on hand. great bandages July 19, 2016 I tend to go cheap on band aids, but these were available through Prime Pantry at a good price, so I decided to give them a try. I'm not ever going back to generic band aids again! They really are comfortable to wear and stay on, which is key to a good band aid. The material is kind of fabric like and wraps around your skin very well without the stiffness of other brands.I like the assortment of this box as well. They have the standard size ones, and then some smaller ones too, perfect for a small scratch. Lifesaver. May 18, 2016 Had bought these as the sort of thing that you have in the medicine cabinet just in case. I didn't use them until my sister brought me a pair of shoes I bought on sale years back a size too small and ended up with blisters on both heals, these bandages are of a strange material but actually stick and are excellent for popped blisters, covering somewhat better than the natural skin covering of the blister itself. As I didn't have an Neosporin or anything I just used the straight bandage and it actually helped relieve the pain so I could walk semi-normally. Good improvement April 7, 2016 I normally use liquid skin, but coudn't find it before bed and decided to use this. This is a great bandaid that stays put and is comfortable without being restrictive. Great improvement to traditional band aids, and stays put a lot longer than liquid skin.FYI if you have a bad one I'd recommend surgical adhesive (like liquid band aid but stays put for about a week instead of a day) Great for wound healing December 19, 2012 One problem I've always had with regular bandaids is that they were occlusive dressings which may absorb drainage but also caused the wound to become raw from enzymes in the drainage. These bandaids are open on the sides so they absorb drainage but also allow the wound to breath, which promotes healing faster. I have a skin condition that requires lots of bandaids, and these are the best ones I've found to promote healing and decrease pain. | 81% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 13% Bandages that stick.... February 3, 2017 These bandages do stick to the skin quite well, even when the skin or wound is wet. In fact, they stick so well that sometimes it's how to remove them. Even though they are quite thin, they are strong and do not tear. If you like thin bandages, these are for you. Decent band-aids January 14, 2017 These work in a pinch to help small cuts, but I wouldn't trust them for extended periods of time. They are so thin that they are liable to breaking or pulling apart. A few problems but they do stick well and are flexible,. July 25, 2016 The stick well and it is a good assortment. The problem is that they are so thin that when I pull them off, the tape rips and has to come off my skin in pieces about 1/2 the time. Being thin they are comfortable and having good sticking power they stay anywhere. The surface is a bit rough so if you rub against them a lot, you can tear or rub a hole in them. They don't leave a red mark on me like so many adhesive wound covering strips do. I try not to use these, but have them just in case. October 31, 2015 I don't actually remember the last time I have used this product. As a matter of fact, it is my ambition to never use this product. I do my utmost to avoid chopping my finger in the kitchen, scraping my knee outside, or getting a paper cut while paying the bills! (I use online billpay for just about everything now. Except for the gardner. I mail him a check.) Despite all of that, it is my general impression that these get the job done as well as could be expected. It's a Band-Aid, but does the Band-Aid need a Band-Aid? July 21, 2015 I really do like these band-aids. I like the thinness of them, and their flexibility. Unfortunately, I have had a few that when I go to pull the white tabs off to expose the adhesive, the whole side rips right off! It just seems like they must have a slight issue with the thin aspect. I don't know, but this should be fixed. Maybe I got a bad box, but I have never had other bandages rip the whole adhesive part off when you are taking the covering off.Overall, I like the product, but only 4/5 stars due to the issue I mentioned. | 10% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% Ok, but prefer cloth September 19, 2016 Not a big fan of the sheer bandaids, but they were the cheapest I could find for my school Supply needs. I would prefer the cloth ones because they stick on better. I suppose it would be better for kiddos tho, but they might use more of these. Ok not super water resistant July 15, 2016 My husband is a machinist and is always cutting his hands and fingers. he goes through a lot of bandages. I usually buy them from dollar store but, because of the lubricants they never stay on so, we tried these. He said they stay on a bit longer than the cheap ones but not enough to justify the costs. Needless to say we will be searching for a better bandage. I think these would be great for kids cuts or wounds that won't come into contact with water though. Comfy and great for low-friction use, but not great for more active use May 2, 2016 Stretchy and soft, it is pretty comfortable, that is true. Definitely more comfortable and more breathable than the plasticky kinds. Works well if you're just doing light work or there's limited contact with the bandaid. The problem is that it tears pretty easily if you are doing something manual or use any force on the area. I was using these on my fingers and palms to protect cracked skin in the winter. The bandaids all ripped and fell apart during aerial classes from gripping the poles/hoops and supporting my weight with my hands. The plasticky kinds lasted longer and stayed in better condition for my workouts.I'll use them for low-contact spots, but I'll stick with the more durable ones for high-contact spots. Sticky but not durable. February 27, 2016 I am not very amazed with the product but then again not all together disappointed. I like that it sticks very well and sustains water usage for a few limited hours. But like most reviews it does sometimes stick to each other right when you open it and then all you can do is throw it. But for me that happened very rarely so cant comment much on that. All in all compared to the ones that I have been using from the Band Aid line itself...the stickiness is all that I wanted and a little longevity which I got so I am not all that disappointed. It definitely cannot sustain a good hot water bath. So everytime that happens you can be assured that it would just come off right after your bath. Love the fact that it has a few sizes in ... December 2, 2014 These are a mixed bag, literally and figuratively. Love the fact that it has a few sizes in one box. Love the idea of sheer and breatheable strips. Love the price on Amazon. But....they're like sheer stockings. You pay for the "barely there" look and feel with compromised durability. They tear. Soon. Sooner than regular band-aids for sure. And they're not as sticky, which can be a good thing but is somehow too much of a good thing with these....Great concept, just wish they were better implemented! | 1% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% Not durable. June 15, 2016 Adhesive material very fragile.... tears away from the bandage part much too easily. I'll buy Band-Aid brand again, just not these. Bought these to stock up our first aid kit but ... April 22, 2016 Bought these to stock up our first aid kit but the soft pad falls off if you apply them with any form of anti-bacterial ointment. The sticky side lasts for ever but the pad will even fall out if you try to shower with it on. Didn't Stay Put Long. December 14, 2015 I really didn't like these band-aid brand bandaids for me. As I could not get them to stay on especially if I ways doing a repetitive task that caused me not only bend my knuckles but to put pressure on them as well. For me that is pushing in my wheelchair or using my walker. My grandmother had issues with them also not sticking for very long if she placed it on a joint. Other places it did ok for a few hours before coming off. Will be looking for better. Never Again August 4, 2015 These band-aids rip away from the gauze part (that goes over the injured skin) the minute you try to take them off and dangerously adhere to skin. They are almost cloth-like but they are not cloth. Okay for tougher skin areas, but would not use on kid's skin or sensitive skin. The sizes were nice. If you hate to rip a bandage off all at once... you'll love these. June 2, 2015 It's not possible to remove these in one piece. While they're on they're comfortable. But I don't like having to pick off little glue-y pieces of bandage stuck to my finger. band-aids going down hill July 6, 2012 This updated version of the extra large band-aid is a big disappointment. The newer non-stick surface is rough on sensitive skin areas, particular if any pressure is applied such as on a foot. The older version of this band-aid was perfect with a non-stick surface that was smooth. Sometimes newer is not better. I have switched to other brands of band-aids that work better on sensitive skin (Curad, Nexcare). | 2% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 13% Glue on band-aid melted my skin. March 18, 2017 I'm not sure why, but these band-aids made my skin react in a terrible way. I've worn band-aid brand before, but not this one in particular and my skin literally started to blister up and fall off. I now have a scar in the shape of the band-aid on my upper thigh. Maybe it was just a fluke, or maybe it was the particular glue used on these but I'll never wear them again. I'll purchase one of their other varieties instead. WRONG ONES! GRRRR........ March 7, 2017 I ordered these because they were purported to be "Comfort Sheer" band-aids. When they arrived, they were just plain "Sheer." Not what I ordered. Grrrr.... Not that great January 10, 2017 Yeah, they're cheap but won't stay on for long.Even without getting them wet, they would lose grip and fall. I used them on my hands and fingers. They stick well only to themselves. Total disappointment. Band Aid is supposed to be a good brand. Wrong Item Shipped January 3, 2017 I love Band-Aid brand, they just seem to work better than store brands. But I'm rather aggravated that I went out of my way to order the "Comfort Sheer" style and got normal "Sheer Strips" instead. The names are similar, but the strips themselves are fairly different. Sure, it's a minor quibble, but it irks me when I go out of my way to order a specific item and get sent something inferior. Terrible Quality!!! Completely different from the normal band-aids. December 12, 2016 They must have changed how they make these because these are not the same band-aids I normally receive. The adhesive strip is harder than it use to be and they don't stick at all. I purchased these back in Sept and since I'm just now finding out that these are completely different and the quality is terrible I can't return them. Total waste of money!! NOT COMFORT SHEER June 23, 2016 Product listed is COMFORT SHEER, yet SHEER STRIPS were sent. Second time this has happened. So, if you're looking for COMFORT SHEER bandaids, DON'T buy these. You will be sent SHEER STRIPS and there is a clear difference between the two. | 6% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
