Five Star Reviews: | 50% It's a great way to keep all of your cables in one ... May 12, 2017 It's a great way to keep all of your cables in one spot, and you can just add more of these hubs by plugging them into this hub. It works great and for me it was a very simple solution to keeping everything together. No more following a cable to see where it is plugged into. Remarkable product that delivers like a work horse. January 28, 2017 All 13 ports, switch and light work well on this hub. Plugged it into my laptop's USB port and it was instantly recognized. Plugged all of my memory sticks, mouse dongle, web camera, etc, into trying to overload it. The hub performed like a champ. A reall great usb port plug for your computer. November 12, 2016 This is a wonderful 13 port plug. Great for multi devisies that require a usb plug. A must for everyone who has either Ipods, Ipads, Iphones or other devises that have connection wire that convert from wall chargers to use chargers. USB Hub Solves Problems September 25, 2016 This multi-port USB Hub has changed my life. My irritation level is reduced, and my productivity has increased. Using Windows 10, there seems to be no difference in recognition when I plug something in, or want to unplug something. While I don't run these things simultaneously, I have 2 printers, a camera, a web cam, a vinyl cutting machine, and an external hard drive plugged in at all times. I haven't had any problems. I like that it has an on/off switch on the hub. Needs Power Cord-That's IT November 27, 2015 I wasn't sure to rate this device 4 or 5 stars. 4 stars because it offers the ability to plug in a cable to an outlet so your hub doesn't have to rely on your computer's battery, or 5 stars because I get 13 Ports for around $10-15. For the benefit of the doubt, I decided to rate it 5 stars. The USB splitter has no issues whatsoever. While the device is much smaller than I expected, I cannot believe it works as great as it does for $15! I would highly suggest this device to anyone, but keep in mind (Tech Insight) that because your USB port on your computer has to split power into 13 ways, you will not get a lot of power per port. This is where that open slot (for power) can be really helpful...except for the fact that it is not INCLUDED! Well, I paid $15 for this, and I am very happy with this device!Great job guys!Need UNBIASED Review? Contact me at yourhonestanswers@gmail.com Am a happy customer. September 15, 2014 Used this to replace a series of hubs all connecting with one another and hanging willy-nilly from the back of my computer. I got the accessory power supply suggested to go with it, just in case I'd need it for some attachment --- less than $6 and gives me peace of mind. Currently have a couple of usb keys and printer, scanner, camera, broadband connection, mouse and a few other accessories plugged into it, and they all seem to work without a problem. Doubt I'll ever use the on-off switch, since there is no occasion to need to turn off all the plug-ins while the computer is still turned on. Have room now, to expand with another 5 or 6 items. Am a happy customer. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% This was a great deal! The ports are a bit tight March 13, 2016 This was a great deal! The ports are a bit tight, which can bee good if you don't want things to fall out, but a little frustrating when trying to move tiny dongles back and forth between computers. Otherwise, it woks wonderfully with my Raspberry Pi, and I don't even need to use the power cord I bought for this USB Hub unless I'm using most of the ports. Worked for over a year, would have been nice if it had worked longer November 19, 2015 It lasted 1 year and 3 months. Then half the ports died competely and the data rate dropped to 500KBS (very very slow)Given that I got a year out of it for 11$ that is not that bad, but it did break so it's a mixed bag. It Works! February 23, 2015 This is the my second Hub. The first one I received did not work. It was clearly a defective unit. I called Amazon about the issue and asked if the could replace the product and they immediately sent out a replacement. When I received the replacement product, I plugged it in and it worked with no problem. I currently have six items plugged in and so far no issues. I have not had a chance to plug in my Kindle to see if it will charge, I will do that later and update my review with the results. For the moment, the unit is working as described and I am very happy with the product. Also, I love the bright blue power light.Update:This device will charge a kindle HDX, however it charges at a much slower speed then the original charger. When you plug it in, you will get a message on your Kindle informing you of this, and that it may not charge if the Kindle is in use or in sleep mode. I always charge my Kindle with the original charger, so this is not an issue for me. I would only use this device as a back up to charge my Kindle. Not for charging! Great for general USB data connections... October 2, 2014 Separate power button on the hub is nice. These are low power USB ports though as far as I can tell because at the very best they keep my cell phone at it's current power level, but it doesn't seem to charge when plugged into this. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 5% Three Stars February 14, 2017 I hooked it up and it does not work. The blue light is on and that is it. Sketchy functionality December 20, 2016 I've been using this hub for almost 2 years now, and while it does the job I want it to, it only does so after excessive fiddling. It randomly drops connection at times (thus disconnecting everything plugged in to it), and this sometimes forces me to fiddle with the port in order to get it to function again. There have been times where I've had to completely restart my computer in order to get it working again, and as you can imagine, this is very bothersome. However I can't be too picky, considering the price, and it's not a total dud. I still use it to this day, after all. If working with a better budget, I'd recommend a more stable unit though. Dead on arrival, fixed with some re-soldering. January 1, 2015 I'm very disappointed, but I guess it's just bad luck for me since everyone else said it worked well. It's got a great design, very light, includes slots in the back to mount it with screws, and the cord is nice (22in, not 30).Here are my main problems with it:-The AC adapter port is not 3.5 mm or the cord that a reviewer suggested isn't, I haven't determined which it is.- I have an AC adapter that fits it, but it will not go in the way.- Like most of the reviews say, the light is pretty bright.- Finally it was dead on arrival. I managed to fix this by re-soldering the power switch. It was attached very loosely and it's still debatable whether or not it's a reliable connection. For any regular customer, it may have been hard to fix. But so far most of the reviews are positive, so I guess I just hit bad luck. it's awesome. Slick December 18, 2014 It just doesn't work every time. When it does, it's awesome. Slick, easy to use. There's a bright blue light, so watch out if you sleep in the same room. USB cord is NOT 30"- mine measured 22 3/4" August 23, 2014 HDE 13-port USB 2.0 hub with on/off switch p/n X000LVW0GV: I just got this and installed it this morning, replacing a 7-port hub. I bought it along with the recommended power pack and so far the combination seems to be working fine though I have not tested every port nor tried any demanding tests of it. My mouse is plugged into it and it seems to be working fine so, so far, so good. My main complaint is that one reason I bought this unit was the claim that it had a "USB Cable Length: 30 in (76 cm)". I measured the one I received and it was 22 3/4" long! I see someone above reported a length of about 27 or 28". Do they shrink in the rain? I considered 30" too short so I'm very disappointed with a cable less than 23". My desktop computer is about 19" deep so allowing for the fact that the cable doesn't run geometrically straight, 30" would be just barely enough length to position the unit somewhere convenient. 23" is not enough!Although not a problem, I have to wonder what someone was thinking to put an on/off switch on this device. It doesn't turn the external power supply off. It may disconnect it from attached devices but it will still be consuming some power from the wall. And who would ever want to turn all 13 devices off at the same time? I could use such a switch if it controlled only some of the ports. Even if I did want to use it, the switch will probably be on the end of the device away from me (since the cord will probably be running straight to the back of my computer) and the switch will then be obscured by the cords plugged in to the hub in front of it. This makes it difficult to use at best.On the bottom of the device are a couple of screw hole/slots that appear to provide some sort of mounting capability. This would be much more useful if the device included, say, a plastic bracket that would engage those holes and provide some means to securely fasten said bracket to something else. Otherwise I find them near useless. The blue light on the unit is quite bright but as it is hidden halfway back of my computer and facing away from me (due to the short cord) it isn't a problem for me.The ports are nicely spaced and manufacturing quality generally seems to be about average. As I said earlier, it seems to be working ok so far. If my concerns are not relevant to your needs, then you'll probably be happy with this device. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

One Star Reviews: | 26% Did not work with my Desktop or labtop - I ... August 1, 2017 Did not work with my Desktop or labtop - I have several external hard drives and it would not read them Doesnt charge slow or fast, just kinda holds the current charge the device has. April 19, 2017 Doesn't do the job. Very very slow charging, even with just one item plugged into it. I can't return it b/c I already engraved my name into it (bought it for my class to use at school) I'll just have to take the loss. it will kill your drives June 22, 2015 it is very very bad quality hub. I ordered 1 and it was bad, then I was sent a replacement and it is just as bad. I dont trust this company. drives keep ejecting. killed 2 of my drives already. Avoid using this product and save your valuable drives with valuable information. Used To Work June 19, 2015 This used to work just fine. I could plug anything I wanted into it and it'll work and be recognised. But now if I plug my wireless internet adapter into it then sometimes it just stops working all of a sudden and I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work. This is especially annoying when I'm playing games with friends on skype and in the middle of an intense match, I'm disconnected. It also messes up flash drives. I bought a brand new flash drive, used it for a little in this hub, and then later it says I have to format the flash drive or on other occasions there would be "no space" left on the drive even though I only put one thing on it and it's a 16GB flash drive. Another notification that pops up is "this device can perform faster if it's plugged into a USB 2.0 port" which leads me to believe the USB ports on this aren't even USB 2.0. Also the blue LED light that's on whenever the usb hub is on is kind of bright and would keep me up at night. I would get into bed and I woudl forget to turn it off before so I would have to get up and turn it off. I wish it didn't have an on/off switch. I fixed this by putting tape over it though.I would not recommend this product. Find another one somewhere else. Nearly fried my computer November 8, 2014 Saw this item recommended as a cheap way to get more ports, and since my 4-port hub was maxed out, I bought it along with the recommended power supply to support extra peripherals. Upon plugging it into the back of my computer, my computer immediately powered off. I don't have a no-name cheap computer, but rather a high-end gaming machine which has an internal surge protector. After running diagnostics and verifying no issues, I tried it with a different power cable (the one from my 4-port which was the same specifications). Same result - immediate power down.Since there's no point in a 13-port USB that doesn't have enough power for anything that relies on it to draw from the USB, I returned it. Out of box failure August 19, 2014 Could not get this hub to function at all, even with a power adapter. Tried all kinds of reboots, swapping main usb ports, you name - it simply never worked. Returned hub and power supply. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
