I bought this for some lights I had during Christmas. It fit perfectly and the change in voltage allows me to use it on other electronics like an older tv I bought for outdoors. Great product

The power cord for my external hardrive was lost during a move. It was so convenient to have all the possible connectors attached to the cord to prevent loss. The key allowed for ease in changing the voltage. Worked Great.

I bought the Artificial Mini Fish Led "MINI" (4.8 x 3.5 x 9 INCHES))Aquarium with 3 pcs fish swimming in bubble tank last March from Amazon. I was using the aquarium in our motor home while camping. I decided to bring the aquarium to work. It was nice on my desk but went through a set of batteries every shift. The Seven Star variable power supply makes it possible to enjoy swimming fish everyday.

I bought a weather radio on sale. It is solar or hand-cranked. But directions indicated that one could get an AC power source to charge the battery. Ten cranks don't last very long. Volts, mA and the other info had me going in circles trying to decipher what I needed for AC charging. So I contacted the seller who pointed me to this converter.I use the adaptor closes to the cord. It works fine. I love my NOAA radio. And now I know that it's charged without having to break an arm turning the crank. The crank, obviously, is nice to have as back-up. As is the solar, but it must be direct solar, not through a window. Don't know why the radio didn't come with this gizmo.PS. NOAA radios are great. Mine gives general present conditions, general predictions, as well as very specific projections for my area. Wonderful to have living in a rural area.

Worked perfect for my grandma for christmas light up bells. She has had them for many years and lost the power cord. christmas saver.

This thing is huge. Easily takes up the good majority of your power outlet. Fortunately this thing makes no noise, stays cool (even after 24 hours of continuous use), and all the voltage settings are true. I bought it for the Led light on my fishtank after going through an unreasonable amount of AAA's.

I needed a 1.5 v adapter for my myzone tv headphones, One review said same thing but said he used 4v setting, I tried 1.5 v first and it works fine. Will save a lot of money instead of buying batteries.

I have a little consignment shop and need to test stuff fast when it comes in. This little beauty has worked for every thing I've needed it for thus far! GREAT buy!

Came in real handy being able to use an old portable tape player.

I got this adapter to go with a portable CD player, but the 3V did not work with the CD player. Was disappointed, but I refused to send it back because it has so many combinations of outlet that I feel sure I will find some use for it soon.

Compact unit, love the voltage options, not to happy with the "key" needed to change things ( a small screwdriver will work too). So I used some sticky Velcro and hopefully it all stays together.

I needed a 4.5 volt adapter, with the polarity that had the + in the center of the plug, and the - on the outside. This adapter allows you to set several voltages, as well as reverse the polarity, with the included key-shaped tool. I actually like that it uses a tool, as you don't have to worry about accidentally changing your setting. If you ever lose the tool, a small flat bladed screwdriver will work. I really don't know what to do with all the extra plugs, as they are all 'hot', you simply plug in the one you need. If it came either with some sort of cover, to protect the exposed plugs, or perhaps several adapters, so that you only used the plug you need, I would give 5 stars. As it is, it works just fine, but care must be taken to not let anything conductive touch the exposed plugs, and short it out. A minor quibble, but something I thought worth mentioning.

Item arrived on time. Item worked with two of our decorations but not with a third item. Am not sure why? I am happy that two decorations now do not require batteries.

Works well. I don't know why "SONY" is in the title, it's not s SONY product. -1 star, as it doesn't have a 9v adapter, and only 500mA output. Otherwise works perfectly for many small devices.

It arrived fairly quickly within the time frame given. Worked great. Had a cd player that didn't have a cord. I like having the different choices so I can use it for multiple things if needed. Needed to play with it a little to get it to the right setting for me.

A bit clunky, but does the job. The good: Works great. Provides the right combination of power and adapter size. The notsogood: The voltage adjustments are not exact. I used a voltmeter to ensure I had the right voltage needed. All in all, it's working and doing what I need it to do.

You have to insert the plug then pull it out a fraction to get a good connection and make it charge but with care it works for hard to fit electronics.

Unfortanatly this charger didn't work for my needs, however thst doesn't make it a bad charger for other items. I was able to return and get a refund to get the replacement charger that actually worked.

It look handsome, the only problem is....that voltage my tester show are very high and can burn any battery under charging. I just make some modification to work with.

Working nicely on my elliptical trainer. All the plugs and voltage output you need. However the voltages tend to be off, so you should measure them with a meter before hooking it up. I have had no problem with over heating, as some of the other reviewers have mention. I have had this plugged into my elliptical for about 2 months, and it seems to be working great.

I just received this yesterday. The bottom line is that the unit works.I found the marking on the unit for the polarity setting was a little confusing. I initially set it backward. When I used a volt meter to check the output, I found the voltage was about 2x what the setting indicated. In other words, I set it for 9v and got about 18v out. 9v tunred out to be at the 4.5v setting. Be careful with that. One other thing to note is this seems to be a really old unit. The screws holding it together have rust on them. The description on the package refers to replacing the batteries in your walkman.

Okay I like it but it gives off a funny smell when in use.

Arrived early but it didn't produce enough power for the unit I was planning on using it for. And that was a nebulizer which doesn't draw a lot of power.

Voltage is fine, needs higher amperage output.

I'm sure it works well with other products but it did not work or fit well with mine, and for that reason I'm giving it a 3 stars

I knew it was a long shot to get an ACDC adaptor for such an old cassette player. Surprisingly, the one sent did supply power to the machine butnot enough to support the audio aspect. Thanks! Reminds me of the problem with Voyager. ed thompson

The firs one burned after the firs use-I bought a second one which is still working.Its trial and error with this one!

I received this item yesterday I plugged in the adapter that fitted my device, the only thing that happens was the entire plug got so hot I unplug it . This is not what I wanted rather then risk the possibility of ruining my DVD player I am returning this item to you. I did not get an invoice or instructions on how to return the item like other sellers do.

Cheaply made universal power supply from China. Voltage regulation doesn't appear to be working. Unit runs like a conventional power supply. I needed 1.5v and when i measure it with my meter it was 4 volts.

It could have been user error, but I could not get it to work consistently. The good thing it did have adapters for every device I own. Ok maybe not every because nothing for iPhone, but you understand.

I used a volt-ohm meter to test the output of this device. I tested 1.5 VDC, 3.0 VDC, and 4.5 VDC. In all cases, the measured voltage was about DOUBLE what the setting said. This product is NOT safe to use. Ireturned it.

I purchased 2 of these and the one did not work and I plugged the other one into a Halloween figurine and the adapter became so hot and smelled as if it was burning. I immediately unplugged it and both are being returned.

This is a little confusing. The plugs are different than most of them, two little plugs that fit into two holes. I found the video misleading because he didn't show us how different this was.

Not sufficient power for my Casio keyboard for which I ordered it.

Adapter was purchased to run a small desktop fountain that requires 3v. The water pump barely runs on 1.5v, but runs far too fast on 3v. This adapter is not well calibrated to put out the exact voltage needed. Probably due to cheap resistors. Would be better to just have a dial for voltage so I could pick something in between.

Voltage doesn't match selections on charger, much higher than listed and amperage listed as 500mA in ad does not match packaging 1000mA, so in my ignorance, I wrecked my batteries,

Defective product (wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing). I would be wary of the QC on these. The only bright aspect is Amazon's easy return policies.

The current flow polarity is reversed as marked on the unit. The voltages are different than the indication marks, I read 14.3 volts at one setting. Avoid this I'll be returning it.

Either the adapter is defective or very poorly manufactured. None of the voltages are correct and the settings indicator is way off. Never got 1.5vdc (read 4vdc) and all the other settings are way too high except for the 12vdc point read 13.5vdc I'm glad I put a meter on it before destroying any devices. It isn't worth my time to return but I have requested a refund from the seller.

This item did what I needed it to do which was produce a 9 volt signal to power my dart board. However, now it is starting to melt. Yes the cover is literally turning to gel even though it does not seem to be over heating. At first I thought it was just that the dog had peed on it. However when I went to try to clean it up, not the case. The front cover is all warped. Had it for a month. Proceed with caution.

Does not produce accurate voltages at all. Returned one defective unit that produced nearly 0 volts on any setting. When the replacement came, it was consistently producing double the voltages on each setting!Don't waste your time or money on this junk!!!

I was in need of an adapter that would produce 1.5V output. When I received this product, I was immediately a little leery since the voltage selector dial didn't have definite stops at each voltage, only an almost imperceptible click. When I turned the dial (with a small screwdriver), it was hard to be certain that I was at the 1.5V setting. It was easy to set the dial a little to either side without knowing it. So I thought I'd better measure the output voltage. No matter which voltage I selected, the output was usually about 10-12 volts higher than it was supposed to be. At the 1.5V setting, I got about 12V out. At the 12 V setting, I got about 22V out. This is a recipe for burning out whatever you're trying to power. I'm sending this back.

I should have known better after reading the reviews. It gives 20VDC no matter where the voltage switch is placed. Just glad I checked its output before using it. I'll stay with my 1.5 VDC battery pack.

I should've inspected it before sending it off as part of a gift set. My recipient found that it was damaged. Have to find a replacement.

Burnt out within an hour on the first use. Would consider trying to return it but would cost close to the purchase price in postage.

I'm not sure why I even bothered trying this; I give myself 1 star as well for being gullible. Anyone who loves their electronics knows it's not a good idea to buy cheap electronics accessories. The minute I plugged this into it's intended target I smelled something bad and hear a disturbing low frequency humming. Scary, not good... waste of 8 bucks.

Voltages are horribly inaccurate. I hooked this up to one of my baby's vibrating bouncy chairs, and noticed it was vibrating much too fast. I pulled out my Fluke multimeter and checked the voltages at all settings. Absolutely terrible product. Saying this was cheaply made would be an understatement.Output voltages do not match the selection. If I changed the voltage selection, the output did not change immediately, but over the course of 2-3 min (this means that somewhere in the circuit, there's a capacitor charging/discharging). I measured voltages of up to 22 V and currents of up to 1.6 A! This could have easily ruined the equipment I was planning to use it on.
