Great buy ! March 25, 2017 Looks amazing . Feels amazing . Arrived before specified time . Adjustable size . Cheap . Great quality . Black . Need i say more ? Basically if youre in need of a mask for Paintballing and other such activites , this is the mask for you . Get it . you wont be disappointed . Great mask overall. March 1, 2017 Bought this mask specifically for the lense. I've had the same mask for 7 years, since I've cut it to change the look of it, painted it, added fans, a battery pack, and put a 3rd eyeball on the forehead just for looks. The lense was scratched up and I finally found the mask. I've always liked the mask. It does fog some without fans but I have yet to find one that doesn't ever fog. Definitely a beginners mask but with some modifications it can be a really sweet mask! Would highly recommend. Fantastic paintball mask for price December 11, 2015 Great facemask for the price. Unlike others I did not find it to be unattractive. The lens worked great for over 5 hours of play on a humid day. A definite upgrade versus rentals which always have smeary residue on the lenses. Lightweight and comfortable.Note that the back is opened so I would wear a backwards cap to protect your head. Also, the visor which snaps in at three places to the helmet does make it moderately narrower than without, I ended up only snapping it in the middle to make the mask more comfortable. Will depend on your head size / face shape. WOW! just wow! August 25, 2011 ok so i havent used a paintball gun in ages but im getting back into the sport. so y was ransackin trough the house looking for my old paintball gear and i wen i found my old equipment i said.. i need to get myself better 5#!+. so browsing through amazon(yes this is gonna be one of these long stories so get comfortable) lookin for sumthin worth my buck. so not only does it arrive on time, which is surprising cause we just had a hurricane 4 days ago and packages tend to get delayed for a few more days, but there wasnt no rocket science wen opening the package. now for the real review. i honestly believe this is as good as it gets. y spend $50+ on a mask wen you can get a really dependable mask for $20. this mask didnt fog up wen blowin on the lens even though its very humid today. i wont say it doesnt fog up at all cause the possibility is still there and wen i shot myself point blank in the mouth area and well... it did its job greatly. ima really test it out in a few. gonna run a few miles in it see how it works wen running and heavy breathing. | 79% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 18% Good beginners mask July 1, 2016 This is a good mask for beginners. I purchased for my first time paintball trip with friends. It was a little too tight on the sides of my face. But it stayed on well while running and bending.I didn't take any balls to the face ;-) so I can't speak on the effectiveness. It worked well enough but I will be upgrading soon. Don't waste money on a more expensive mask unless you've tried paintballing. Good mask April 8, 2014 Arrived a day before going to the fields and thank god it did because this small investment does wonders compared to s***ty rental masks. It's easy to clean and easy to wear and fits comfortably on the face. The eye area is padded so that doesn't cause you pain during a match.First time out I took one in the lens and one in the mouth and it held up fine and was easy to clean. It also helped as I didn't notice any fog during the whole day of about 10 hours on the fields. Good backup in a fix. February 25, 2013 I put that as my title, but this is my primary mask as of right now. It offers a good range of coverage around my head, and when worn along with whatever you would ordinarily use to protect the back of your head and neck (such as a shemag or baseball cap) it works well enough. MY only gripe is that it doesn't fit very well for someone who has to wear glasses 100% of his/her waking hours. I suppose if I had the money, I could get a sports glasses of some sort with my prescription, but until then this is my head protector for paintballing. This IS a good mask, but if someone happens to know where I could find something that fits well for four-eyed peoples, I would appreciate a point in the right direction. Great for the price December 11, 2011 For $20 you really can't complain with this mask. It is quite comfortable, has solid construction, and lives up to the anti-fog claim, for the most part. It only started to fog on me towards the end of the day when my head started to get really sweaty. I was playing in freezing weather and for the most part fogging wasn't a problem. For those of you who wear glasses, you really need to cut out the foam in the areas where your glasses temples go for it to be more comfortable. The only complaint I have with this mask is that the visor is non-removable once it is in which makes cleaning the lens a pain in the ass. The instructions that you should remove the lens to clean it but it is pretty much stuck in there so you won't be able to clean it perfectly but using q-tips and some paper towel and your fingers will get rid of most of the paint and debris after playing.Overall I am very happy with this mask and would definitely recommend it to someone who doesn't want to pay a lot of money for a mask. Good Beginner Mask November 26, 2011 This mask is very good in terms of price and comfort. It is the most comfortable mask for the price range. Having said that, I've since bought a better more expensive mask because I am playing more often. If you buy this mask, you should be a player that doesn't play too often. If you play often, invest in a better more comfortable mask such as a V Force Profiler, a V Force Grills, a Dye i4, an Empire E-Vents, or a Sly Profit. All of the mentioned masks are 3-4 times the price of the Rage Xray, but it is well worth the investment. If you have already bought it like I have, it is a good mask to have around when you have friends or family that want to try the sport out. I let them use it rather than them using the disgusting ones offered at the field. | 10% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 8% Does the Job, (Kinda) December 28, 2015 3 Stars Because it Does its Job, just not amazingly.Cons:Fogs Very EasyTight Around NoseShifts EasilyPro:Blocks to Where you can't feel anything Great mask to let others borrow or to purchase if ... March 21, 2015 Great mask to let others borrow or to purchase if you are not sure you want to play paintball or not. I recommend this mask if you plan to try paintball instead of renting a mask from the fields. Great mask for the price. March 18, 2015 This mask does the job well and is fairly comfortable. It's not REALLY comfortable, just fairly comfortable. The foam had some fitment issues with my face but I'm also not spending 80-150 for a mask. Its good but has some problems December 2, 2014 So its realy good at not fogging up when your out side or in a cold room but inside a smaller air temp room it fogs up pretty easy. You also run into the problem of it being bulky. I for one am not able to aim down a red dot on a m4 cqb with this mask. It has the ability to put a camera mount on it even when its not desined for it. I got bored of the plain black so it had a new paint job. All in all its a good mask, Ii like it, and im going to get a new one but its definatly my back up. Didn't provide as much cover on my chin and ears as I would have liked (again, big head) October 28, 2014 The foam on the nose is a bit thick and intrusive. Had to cut it down a bit. Also not compatible with glasses (at least not with my big head). I had to remove the arms from a spare pair I had and hot glue them onto the mask lens. Bit pf work but it's easier than buying contacts or going in blind. Didn't provide as much cover on my chin and ears as I would have liked (again, big head). I'd probably suggest buying a mask at a shop just so you can try it on and make sure it's good. If you're going for bare minimum, this is for you. | 5% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 7% One of the most foggy masks I have used and bad mouth protection January 27, 2017 Fogs up Way too easy and shots to the mouth stop the ball but not the paint. Impact of the ball and its frag busted my lip open and covered my lips in paint. Hurt like hell. Needs better mouth protection Dissatisfied December 2, 2016 The lenses stayed fog free for the first hour of game play. After taking a breaking and letting my mask air dry. The second game they started to fog within about a minute of putting it on and remained this way throughout the rest of the day. Other than that, the mask fit great and was comfortable. Good starter mask. September 2, 2014 Hard plastic lower, decent padding. Goggles fog up pretty easy. Hard plastic mask causes it to sit weird on my head, but I've got a big melon head. Does it's job adequately. I knew it was just a budget mask, needed it to get me started back in. You get what you pay for July 3, 2013 This mask is good for people who are maybe trying paintball for the first time and don't want to use a rental mask. It will do its job and protect your face. And it doesn't look half bad. But, it is a little uncomfortable. It was VERY tight on the bridge of my nose. If you are going to wear this thing all day or even for a couple hours it needs to be comfortable and you don't want to be thinking about it while on the field. Also, I wear glasses and this did not work with them. Fortunately, I tried it on at home and wore it for a few minutes just to see how it worked moving around. It was no bueno. I had difficulty adjusting the goggle strap to work with the added room taken up by my glasses and it wasn't happening. I ended up returning it before I even used it.Pros: Cheap, looks good, ligh, best for casual players maybe playing for the first timeCons: Uncomfortable, Not for use with glasses Stay away if you have a larger head May 16, 2013 Pros: cheap and didn't fogCons: didn't fitFirst of all let me say I have a large head. Well onto the review wore this mask in about 90 degree weather and had no problems with fogging despite my heavy breathing, However within ten minutes I felt some pain above my eyes where the mask was pushing on my head. Despite my attempt to loosen the strap (to the point where the mask no longer stayed in plays as I walked) I could never get this particular mask to fit comfortably and ended the day with a headache. Protects your face i guess... October 18, 2012 This mask fogs up SO easily. i live in memphis, which is a fairly humid area, and after about five minutes this thing will fog up s much that I CAN'T EVEN SEE. the only good thing i wold say about it is the price, but you could get a helix mask for around the same price. | 3% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 4% Goggle vent shoots paint directly into eye, horrible design. June 10, 2017 Worked perfectly for a while until I found out there is a vent right under the eye what when shot sprays paint directly into your eye at 250 FPS. My right eye is still blurry burns. Dear God May 28, 2013 Granted this is a cheap mask. The one I ordered came with a broken chin strap, the overall construction is just terrible. I bought it to be used as a loaner, but threw it away instrantly. Even if the chinstrap hadn't been broken, I wouldn't feel comfortable loaning it out to ANYONE for fear they would get injured. You can easily get a much better mask in this price range. I would stay clear from this mask. not a anti fog! January 13, 2013 This mask was a christmas present for my son who loves paintballing. We where kind of skeptical because of the price but we figured we would try it anyway. Well he went paintballing For the first time with his new equipment yesterday and when I picked him up the first thing he said when he got in the car was my mask fogs up! I felt so bad! This is the second mask that was suppose to be a anti fog and was not. THIS IS NOT AN ANTI FOG MASK! The size June 19, 2012 Was not expecting this mask to be ultra large, not a good product. I have never seen one this big before. THIS MASK SUCKS!! March 5, 2012 I just recently purchased this mask and the reviews that i saw made me very comfortable and excited about my purchase. However, This mask sucks!! this mask started to fog before we began our first game. It's uncomfortable to wear. Very disapointed with this product. I could not play with this mask on! Bottom of the line Mask February 7, 2011 I ordered this and i tried it on and it was very uncomfortable, plus broken on the chinstrap. It was flimsy and uncomfortable, also very big and bulky. The fact that it was broken may have been due to the fact that it ships through zephyr and ive had bad experiences ordering from them in the past. Overall, I guess it would be decent for a beginner/ backyard player. But theres many better masks for very close to the price.I guess you get what you pay for.Would not recommend this mask. | 3% There are no reviews yet |
