Bought this shield for pert-time use. Used it for 4 days, and not a single fog up in hot/humid weather. Very comfortable. Though mine does not have side vents, it stays off of your face quite a bit, so there is plenty of breathing room. Would buy again.

Bought this for my brother for his first time playing paintball.At the price point you're getting this mask at, the fact that it's a dual-pane thermal lens is a real game changer. It's pretty much like buying a clear vent lens from Empire but getting a completely functional mask thrown in.If you are new to paintball, I can't stress enough how much having an effective anti-fog lens can determine whether or not you enjoy yourself.If you are getting into the sport and are simply looking for an entry level mask, the Helix may be slightly more expensive than other entry level masks ($15-$20) but the lens itself is worth the price. Not only is it one of the better lenses on the market, but it is compatible with empire's upper tier masks such as the E-Vent and the E-Flex, so if you stick with the sport and decide to upgrade your mask to either of those models, you'll already have a spare/back up lens.

I was going to give this a 4 star rating because it was a bit tight and thus uncomfortable on my head. However, it does it's job, it is very durable, and it fits my brothers head. Also doesn't fog. Foam could be better too.

First off I just want to say that these came in TWO business days after I ordered it even though I chose standard speed(Usually 3-5). I'm not sure were it sent from but I live in lower New York so if you live in that area it should come pretty quickly. Now onto the product itself. I just wanted to say I am a new paintball player so I don't have much to compare this to but overall this is a great budget baller mask.Pros:1) This can fit almost every head size; I'm only twelve and this fit perfectly, and my parents were able to wear this to when they tried paintball.2) Detachable visor that is included3) Dual lens almost completely eliminates fog4) Very comfortable padding around the eyes5) Peripheral vision is decentCons:1) Taking it apart can be complicated and when I tried taking the visor off for the first time, part of the rubber ripped apart.2) The area around the nose were the plastic raises is kind of annoying when playing.3) Around the ears there is no padding4) It is very hard which protects you well but it won't get you any bouncesOverall, for the price of this mask I think it was a great deal and is probably what I would suggest if you're going to get into paintball.

Its very good for the low price point. The only complaint is that its not exactly the most comfortable while playing for long periods of time.

I like it, just not gonna say "5 star, I love it!". Any ways I use it mainly for lawn work as I gets down and stirty with my work for xtreme beauty results.

Does't fog up at all which is amazing. Only cons are that it doesn't make a perfect seal against my nose and the strap wants to come loose around the back. The visor also isn't as easy to remove as it says.

This is a great inexpensive mask for people who are starting to play. clear lens very clear also it does not fog at all i have played many games has never fogged on me. only problem is a little uncomfortable. but i would recommend this product for any beginners.

Great mask! Does a far better job staying fog free than my previous mask. Decent vision to help maintain SA. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that the comfort level is simply average for a paint ball mask. "Average for a paint ball mask" means that you *can* wear it all day, but you will definitely welcome those breaks between rounds.

First I'd like to start with how fast this mask was delivered. Same day shipping (thank you prime) and it was there before 8pm.If you are a baller on a budget, I HIGHLY recommend this mask not only because it's cheap but because it is a thermal lens as well. A whole day out in the woods in 70 degree weather and it did not fog up at all. Note I'm a pretty big guy and speedball gets me breathing super heavy after the break. I sweat a lot as well. But not once did it fog up.Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a budget friendly mask that will offer the same thing as a higher end one, the Helix is perfect. But if you have the money to spend on a more expensive mask then go right ahead. To each their own. Happy balling!

Doesn't fog! Played a full day tournament in woods ball and high humidity and this didn't fog at all. My friend bought an Anti-Fog mask at 3x the price and he fogged up constantly. The padding can be a little uncomfortable over time since it is a bit thin, but worth it to be able to see..

Its a great mask and i recommend it for beginners to paintball. Does not fog up and i play woodsball, paint comes right off, only problem is that it is mildly uncomfortable. But other than that it is great.

Bought two. Worked well. Somehow one did not fog up during a 3 hour outing and the other fogged up after 30 minutes. Comfortable overall.

Just got it and it seems like a good mask but it didn't come with the visor.

for the price its ok my son uses it when he comes with me to play. It hasn't fogged up on him yet. When i where it is uncomfortable but for the price its ok.

I thought the foam was a little too hard. That is my only complaint. Vision is terrific and I did not fog.

I'm a relatively new player to the game, and when I started out I needed a mask. Unfortunately for me: I have a pretty big head width-wise, and a low-hanging jaw. Naturally, this mask just wasn't for me. I feel like it was designed for a more average/athletic demographic. While the mask does it's job pretty well in a head-on assault, I can't trust my peripherals in the fire-lane. First day I went out with these, I got nailed smack dab on the jaw.Another issue I had with the mask is that the amount of pressure on my skull felt like my head was put into a vice-grip set to a slow-moving motor. The compression just kills after a certain point.I think I'll go with a VForce mask next time, as I hear they should fit my size head a bit better.Would I recommend this mask? Maybe to a teenager or someone with a more average-sized head. It is an okay budget mask. Nothing realy special about it. If you can afford better, go for it. You're better off with a cheap, reliable mechanical gun and a high-end mask, than a cheap mask and an intermediate/pro level gun.

Did the job

Product does not match description which states comes with visor. Visor is also shown in picture. Customer service told me that they haven't made a visor for this product in some time and there is nothing they can do other than accept a return. They also said that it is not their fault the description is inaccurate. I did not have time to order new ones before my event, so I kept them. They worked fine, but I really dislike misleading information and find this company untrustworthy.

Same as the 12-14 mask. Does have better padding around the eyes and chin strap but not worth 30 bucks to me. Better off buying used name brand stuff on ebay for same price or a little more. Nothing to get to excited over but it is just a mask.

Dont buy. Rubbee in mask hurts eye. Falls off easily
