Five Star Reviews: | 66% I bought these for my wife. They arrived quickly ... June 6, 2015 I bought these for my wife. They arrived quickly and were exactly what we expected. She likes the quality and that they are organic. We will definitely but more when she runs out. As a vegetarian, it is sometimes difficult to find ... May 16, 2015 As a vegetarian, it is sometimes difficult to find products made without gelatin. This product has quality ingredients and is made gelatin free. They haven't upset my stomache and I have pretty good energy levels all day May 8, 2015 I've been taking these prenatal vitamins for three weeks and I don't have any complaints. They haven't upset my stomache and I have pretty good energy levels all day. quality product. May 8, 2015 Other prenatal vitamins i have taken have made me feel sick, these don't. I will definitely repurchase. Five Stars April 24, 2015 Love these......great prenatal vitamins. Easy to digest and great absorbtion Awesome prenatal vitamins March 23, 2015 Awesome prenatal vitamins! I actually feel energized. Glad I made this great choice. Shipment was right on time and your concerns are very important to them. Great customer service skills! | 70% Good for prenatal health, postnatal and nursing mamas June 8, 2017 I've been on these prenatals for what seems like years due to nursing my second child for a year and continuing to take after, as well as with a subsequent pregnancy. I have noted that these can not be taken on an empty stomach or else I'll feel nasueased when my body begins to process the vitamin. The vitamin for me isn't too big and doesn't take much to get down. Overall great buy and will purchase again when needed. Best quality prenatal for the price February 1, 2017 When I became pregnant I did a ton of research about what prenatals to take and what should be in them. In my first trimester, I was taking Garden of Life Raw prenatals but I had to take three a day and it was difficult for me to keep track of, so I began looking for a one a day prenatal after reading that there really was not a difference in taking a vitamin 1x a day vs 3x a day. I'm so glad I found these vitamins-Here's what sold me: -They meet all the criteria for prenatal vitamins (according to What to Expect When You're Expecting/Mayo Clinic/WebMd)- very cost effective. Amazon by far has the best prices I have seen- only have to take 1x a day- digest easily/ no nausea from taking these-USP certified(tests for body's ability to actually absorb vitamins)I also take Nature's Bounty Fish oil ( contains DHA) in addition to these prenatals Great vitamin October 4, 2016 I took these my entire pregnancy, and am now taking them as a nursing mother.... they have never once made me sick and I think they help a lot. I was losing a lot of hair postpartum, and then I got more of these to take and it stopped! So that's awesome! Great supplements! June 6, 2016 I've been taking these prenatals since I found out I was pregnant, 16 months ago. I am now the happy mother to a beautiful 7-month-old little girl and will continue to take the prenatals until we're done nursing. They have caused me no trouble and if they are partially responsible for my daughters' prenatal and postnatal health, as well as our success in breastfeeding, then I couldn't thank these vitamins enough for their help! Energizing November 2, 2015 My OBGYN recommended I start taking prenatals vitamins b/c we're planning on "trying" next year. She said it didn't really matter if we went cheap or expensive; they're generally all the same ingredients. So I researched a bunch of them and settled on these. I can't speak to any pregnancy-related benefits, as we're not there yet, but I have a ton of energy! I've been taking them for about 5-6 weeks now, and I've also stopped drinking coffee, but I feel very healthy and energetic. No bad side effects that I've noticed. Best Prenatal Around April 30, 2014 I am a pharmacist (BA in chemistry and Doctorate in pharmacy) and I spent a TON of time researching prenatals. I mean a TON. I was on drug databases that I have access to at work, read through forums on baby websites and this prenatal is the best that I could come across. This prenatal vitamin (PNV) was the only brand that I could find that was USP certified- thus meaning, it passes a dissolution test which proves that the vitamins contained within the PNV will be available for your body to absorb and utilize for your potential or growing baby! The tablets are not too large where they are tough to swallow and they do not have an odor associated with them.I decided to get the formulation without the DHA because that product is not USP certified. I buy a separate liquid DHA/EPA supplement.I am a pharmacist for Walgreens and even with my employee discount these vitamins are cheaper on Amazon! Great product and I recommend to my patients when they are looking for a suggestion on a PNV. PNV can even be taken as a daily multi-vitamin. You do not have to be pregnant or trying to get pregnant! |
Four Star Reviews: | 8% Not good to have another seller to copy the product. November 21, 2015 I ordered the first bottle, i like it a lot then when it is empty.l reordered again. I know it the 2 nd bottle is very different from the 1st even when i open it. The tablet is very big difference.,the 2nd order got pimple in my back.l stop taking it and throw it away. This product has definitely changed October 16, 2015 I've ordered these twice now, the first bottle I got had the pink vitamins, which I liked. They were easy to swallow and didn't leave that weird after taste. My most recent bottle is not pink, they look more organic, but leave the typical powdery after taste that they didn't have before. I was using Rainbow Light prior to these and was breaking out like crazy. Since switching to these my skin is clearer than ever and I've had a lot more energy. I would definitely recommend them. I only docked a star because I actually preferred them when they were coated, like my first bottle. | 13% I just happen to like what they did for my hair and nails July 31, 2017 Used throughout pregnancy and ordered even more afterwards. I just happen to like what they did for my hair and nails. Multi Vitamin for Growing Hair and Nails and Baby!! July 12, 2017 They are prenatal vitamins for planning to become or pregnant already. They do work as I notice my hair and nails growing really fast. If you just want a multi vitamin these do the trick. Four Stars April 10, 2017 I liked this brand when I was pregnant. I found amazon to have the best deal. Not pregnant, but low in vitamins and minerals, ... February 8, 2017 Not pregnant, but low in vitamins and minerals, so I use these on a daily basis. No aftertaste, not horse pills. I can tell a different when I forget to take them for a few days, so they seem to be doing something. Daily vitamins with an extra boost.... February 3, 2017 I ended up having to purchase these in store since they weren't available from amazon. With that being said, I prefer these over basic women's vitamins as they offer extra nutrients that young women should have access to before getting pregnant. Prenatal starts with being physically able to carry a healthy baby to term. Getting the vitamins and nutrients that a woman's body needs is a huge help in having a baby. Believe it or not my beautician recommended this product because of my recent hair loss March 20, 2015 Believe it or not my beautician recommended this product because of my recenthair loss. It seems to be working! |
Three Star Reviews: | 5% Love the vitamins September 18, 2015 Love the vitamins. The only down side is this batch does not have a coating covering the vitamin which makes it slightly harder to swallow vs the first batch I recieved. Artificial Dyes June 8, 2015 I really don't like that these are bright pink. I was looking for other customer photos but did not see any. I would not have bothered to purchase these had I known they use artificial dyes. I try to eat as little food that has been artificially dyed as possible. Especially with some of the research that has found links between food dyes and hyperactivity in children and the bans on artificial food dyes in Europe. Dyes are not something I want in my daily vitamins and definitely not something I want my baby ingesting prenatally.I believe overall these vitamins are okay as long as you don't care that your vitamins are not organic. I thought I saw the "USDA Organic" logo on the bottle but I looked back over the order when I received the vitamins and realized it was the "Made in USA" logo. So that was my bad, I should have looked closer. Though, I don't understand why a company called "Potent Organics" does not offer organic prenatal vitamins. | 7% These taste terrible. They leave a dirty-grass type taste on my ... June 21, 2017 These taste terrible. They leave a dirty-grass type taste on my tongue that remains long after I swallow the pill. Breackout no glow..lol May 20, 2017 For a pre natal its about the same as any other ive had compared with ingredients. The pill iyself broke my skin out horribly. Im that person who never had bad skin before so i was surprised to see breakouts all over my body (back and legs). I switched back to my norm prenatals and a month later it cleared up. Gelcaps easier to swallow than these huge ones, wife said April 17, 2016 These are hard pills and pretty large too. My wife liked the gel liquid caps better but she said she will use them anyway. Does not have iodine; Causes sick stomach for me. March 23, 2016 Took this prenatal until my midwife required I add iodine to my diet to improve my thyroid condition. Nature Made did not have iodine, so I switched to Rainbowlite. This also made my stomach somewhat sick. Good January 3, 2016 They make me really thirsty at night and the flavor is not very good. My last pregnancy I used the soft gel ones and I like them so much better Note there's no DHA supplement in these March 25, 2015 As prenatal vitamins these have been fine and haven't bothering my stomach when taken with food. However when I asked my OB/GYN to look and see if she liked what was in them, she noted that they lack recommended DHA supplement and I had to buy that separately. I believe this same brand sells a version with a DHA supplement in it-I'd buy that instead so you can just take one tablet to cover you! |
Two Star Reviews: | 5% Threw in the trash. February 13, 2017 Not happy with this purchase after doing more research on pregnancy vitamins. Folic acid is the cheapest form and not as healthy for mom and nbaby as higher quality form known as folate. Also overall not as many vitamins and minerals as should be in a prenatal multi. Price was good but I feel I get more value from my new prenatal Garden of Life Raw Prenatal. I threw this one in the trash. I hate that they had pink dye / some sort of ... October 15, 2015 I purchased this back in 2014 when I was looking for organic prenatal vitamin to get baby all vitamins he needed. Unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage. This product was ok, I had no issues swallowing them although they were on the larger side. I hate that they had pink dye / some sort of coloring. this product is not 100% organic. I recently switched over to rainbow light organics. hopefully my body will absorb those vitamins better than it did with these. the packaging also looked tacky, old and cheap. I did not finish the second month on these because I hated them. may work for you but never did for me. | 4% Unsure November 10, 2017 I began taking this item and used it for approximately 4 days then switched to another prenatal that catered more to my needs.PROS:1) Small in comparison to others I have taken2) It didn't make me feel sick or nauseated3) You take 1 per dayCONS:1) Contains soy. This is a no no for persons with fibroids and ovarian cysts or prone to it. This is mainly why I stopped usage. Before I began pregnancy I had no ovarian cysts and in my second appt a large cyst was observed. Upon doing my research I recognised soy is a contributive factor.2) It contains folic acid instead of folates3) The dosage of iron was a bit too much for my liking4) The label on the bottle is completely different from what is posted on amazon. A bit misleading I think. The cons outweigh the pros, hence I won't be purchasing again. this prenatal multi vitamin is not the best choice if already pregnant August 3, 2017 my doctor suggest me change to the one with DHA, bcz helpful with brain develop. this prenatal multi vitamin is not the best choice if already pregnant. No DHA February 18, 2017 This is partly my fault. I didnt completely read bottle. What kind of prenatal doesnt have DHA?! Made me sick. December 12, 2016 I don't love these vitamins. They make me nauseous whenever I use them, and I take them with food. Everyday I just felt sick, and this was before I was pregnant so once I started getting morning sickness it just made it worse. I've tried other prenatals that don't make me sick so this particular brand just didn't work for me. Stopped taking these after the huge nature's made recall last ... July 5, 2016 Stopped taking these after the huge nature's made recall last month. I don't trust the safety of this company anymore. |
One Star Reviews: | 16% I ordered these and they arrived but super late. And delivered by a random guy in ... June 9, 2016 I ordered these and they arrived but super late. And delivered by a random guy in a normal car not in uniform. I thought that was strange. Then I opened them and they were very large pills/beige in color. I saw a pic someone posted and they were pink not beige. Did they change the formula I'm not sure. The expiration date was on bottom but very unclear like it was rubbed partially off. Anyone else have this experience? I'm very Leary to take these. All in all I will not be ordering these again. Not 100% Natural November 22, 2015 I'm super disappointed in this product. It is labeled as 100% Natural by Potent Organics (R), but the vitamins themselves are bright pink. They are colored by pink by: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol/macrogol, talc, erythrosine aluminum lake. I don't see why this is necessary or "natural". It could have been something else, but after taking them for 3 days, I developed a rash. Luckily, the company gave me a full refund, so they at least stand by their product and 100% money guarantee. False Advertisement November 21, 2015 This product is misleading. You only get one bottle. The most expensive bottle of prenatals I've ever purchased. Pink coating on "organic" vitamins? October 29, 2015 These vitamins have a pink artificial coating on them. If you are looking for something natural I'd suggest you order something else. Same packaging but different pills inside..... September 1, 2015 I ordered these at the beginning of my pregnancy. They were just fine and didn't hurt my stomach. The pills themselves were bright pink with a smooth exterior. When I finished the first bottle, I ordered a second. I went through my amazon prime order history and ordered from the exact same listing (this one). When they arrived the packaging was the exact same. Everything looked the same. Until I opened the bottle. The pills were larger, shaped differently and beige with a rough exterior. They even smelled differently! (and do NOT question my sense of smell right now- it is totally on point). At first I figured- well they could have been manufactured at different times / places and that would explain the differences. So I took them anyways. After a few days I noticed decreased fetal movement. I was racking my brain thinking I must be eating something different, not drinking enough water, maybe I am being more active, maybe the movement is the same and its all in my head? Then I realized that the only thing I was doing differently was that the vitamins were different. So I stopped taking them. Fetal movement has increased dramatically. I don't know if the pills have anything to do with it. It could be that my child just had a few lazy days. But either way, it freaked me out! | 6% Will not be able to use these. August 19, 2017 I bought this back in June, but haven't opened it until now. When I took the plastic off the cap and then opened it, the seal was broken underneath. I will not be able to use these and can no longer return them. From now on I will open things like this immediately to make sure everything is intact. Formulation has changed not for the better August 15, 2017 The formulation has changed, contains iodine, vitamin k and soy, all of which I need to avoid and were not in their product that I had purchased in the past. Very disappointed and cannot return because I missed the return window. Another warning August 13, 2017 The product now contains 50 micrograms of Vitamin K, which interferes with (slows) blood-clotting time (INR) of people like me on Warfarin. Same labels, different product altogether. Get the soft gels instead, IMO. February 28, 2017 I have been taking Nature Made Prenatal Multi + DHA soft gels. I have been very happy with it, and they were easy to take. Unfortunately they are rather pricey, so I was looking for an alternative and found Nature Made Prenatal Multi in the tablet form, which is this product that I'm reviewing. you would think that the products would be the same except for the DHA and that the product is now a tablet instead of a soft gel. This is NOT the case. They are NOTHING ALIKE even thought the label is almost identical!!!! For example, Soft gel: Vit A 50%, tablet 32%; B6 soft gel 104%, tablet 76%; Zinc soft gel 167%, tablet 73%. Basically, these products have a nearly identical label but they are NOTHING alike, not at all. I'm very surprised. Laxative, beware February 16, 2017 Terrible, one of the ingredients is a laxative, so only take if you want terrible stomach pain hard on stomach November 18, 2014 Not good for sensitive stomachs. Took a couple weeks worth and threw the rest out, these vitamins made me sick to my stomach and vomit even when taken with a meal. |
