Better than average raised toilet seat
March 30, 2016
This hard molded plastic raised toilet seat has convenient indentations for personal wiping. The shape is relatively comfortable, plus easy to clean. There are glued on grippers on the bottom to help it stay firmly put on the toilet rim while the original toilet seat is raised. The directions say the holding weight is 275 pounds; I wish that important information had been listed by the seller in its Amazon blurb. This seems like a better than average raised toilet seat, and is helpful for those with a bum knee or recent surgery. It does not have handles. Recommended.
Great for the price, simple and easy to use. Very pleased!
April 20, 2015
Worked great for me after my TKR surgery. I have a comfort height toilet and this on the bowl raised it nicely for me to use. I am 5' 7" and it was just right/a tad high. If you come home from knee surgery you don't want to "surprise" yourself with a drop onto the seat where you might be tempted to catch yourself with your bad leg! So for me this was just perfect. If you are very short you probably don't want to use this with a toilet that is already comfort height, but it probably would be fine for those folks on a regular height toilet. No assembly, either, just open the box, set it on the toilet bowl with the seat and cover raised, and you are good to go.Would like to mention I am pretty hefty, over 300# and this held up fine.It did move sometimes, but as long as you are aware that occasionally it might shift, it's fine. It cannot fly off the bowl, just move a bit. This is good as far as I'm concerned because it was easy to take on and off if you had other family members using the bathroom. I kind of assume it's like this because it is trying to fit different shaped elongated bowls.Great price and made getting through the recovery period that much easier. I was able to remove and store it away (for my other knee!) at three weeks. Very pleased with this.
A Great Purchase!!
January 11, 2015
This was a really great purchase for me and I would highly recommend this to anyone with a (standard) (old-fashioned low toilet seat) that I don't understand why anyone would have in their homes today with the new ones available that are generally so much more comfortable. I had a knee replaced and had to move to a temporary house with a very low toilet seat. It was causing me sooo much pain to lower myself to this short toilet seat and stand up again each time. (Being female is unfortunate if a low toilet seat is all there is).My other house had a seat that was so much more comfortable. I went to Home Depot and looked at the toilet seats available today and 90% of them were a much higher height. These used to be considered (all handicap heights but I think these are now the standard heights used in most homes and public spaces). The shorter toilet seat was cheaper so maybe that is the reason some people might want to buy it but if you have knee, back or any kind of orthopedic trouble- This might help you a lot as it did for me).It is very well constructed, comfortable to sit on and stable. It does not tip off when you sit on it. It has indentations on either side of the seat to assist you in lifting it off to clean or remove. There are no screws or attachments to mess with.It is simple, comfortable and sturdy. The package says the seat is 5 inches. Everyone's body is different so it might not work for everyone but if you stand next to a toilet and the seat is level with your knee joint then this can be used as a guide to see if the seat will be the right height for you or not.It basically boils down to this. A seat should have you not squatting to get up and down from it and your feet should be just comfortably touching the floor in front of you. If the seat or toilet is too low, then you have to pull or hike yourself up and off the seat and that is not comfortable or safe. Or if it is too high than that is not helpful either. My knee is bothering me a lot less now that I have this at home. I would highly recommend it. I had purchased a soft seat before but when I sat on it it squished and lost it's height. So that did not work. This can be quickly removed if you have company or for cleaning. I cleaned it with warm water and mild house cleaner that I use.A great product if you can't change the toilet itself.
Excellent product!
November 15, 2014
I ordered this after having back surgery and I couldn't be happier with this raised seat. It does not slip or slide on my elongated bowl. I have it installed with the main toilet seat in the upright position. It is easy to place and easy to remove. Simply place it on the toilet bowl. My husband takes it off when he uses the toilet, he finds it more comfortable without it. He puts it right back on after he's done. My only problem is short legs so I slide the bathroom scale under my feet for support. The value for the price you pay is excellent! Shipping was super fast. I give this an A+ rating!
Just what I needed...
January 8, 2014
At 69 I am a very busy woman - up and down ladders, painting, plumbing you name it and I will fix it, when you live in the boonies it is easier to do the work yourself since you can have it done before anyone will come out if they even show up...Had a hip replaced 11 years ago, best thing I ever did for myself and I have never had an issue in all this time but last Saturdaywhile squatting to replace the dryer vent it slipped out and let me say that when you dislocate your hip it is horrid.Luck on my side they put it back in and of course I now need to be careful we don't want a repeat of this EVER. It made sense to buy a riser for my toilet. I have used many over the years with aged parents so I was familiar with the pros and cons of these seats.I wanted one that I could use without removing the toilet lid, I did not want plastic screws to fool around with so when I saw this Yunga I grabbed, got it in two days, dropped it on the toilet and it looks like it was made for the toilet. It sits right on top and it does not wiggle around so it feels solid and safe. There is a lip that sits inside the toilet so any liquid goes into the toilet and not onto the toilet rim.It raises the seat about 4 1.2 inches, I am 5' 91/2" tall so it's perfect; my toilet is 16 1/2 inches high from the floor to the top of toilet bowl rim; my feet just hit the ground so I do not need to worry about having my knee close to a right angle or the need to slide my leg out to sit with the possible chance of slipping.Bottom line this is a great product with attention to detail, it has cut outs for hands to clean yourself, extremely sturdy seat that wipes clean in a breeze. Also it is a super value.
Yunga Tart Raised Toilet Seat
December 31, 2013
Hmmm. There were no instructions that came with the seat. I guess it's supposed to be fairly idiot-proof. Count on me to find a new way to use it....I ordered this seat because I had been told to get one prior to a hip resection. I, of course, wait to the last minute to order the thing and end up sweatin' and worrying, "Is it going to get here in time?!?" Because the dealer was soooo on the ball, happily I received it (or should I say my hubby did?) by D-Day (or should I say S-Day, for surgery?). Instead of waiting weeks, we got it within DAYS.When I got home, I plunked it down on the toilet seat (not the lid). I, being short of legs (5 ft 7in, but built like a Dachsund) had some fretting trying to get the angle right, and w/some small slippage of the seat, side to side (like it's a "one size fits all" toilets, right?!) because of the rounding of the regular toilet seat it was on. It took my beloved, taking it off to do his thang, to accidentally put it back on the regular toilet with the seat UP. (Men, gotta love 'em; can't leave 'em.) Of course, I go bumping around in the dark, sit down, and VOILA!!!...no slippage, it fit perfectly!...no more shimmy in the seat, and, what I suspect is what the original designers had in mind for it's use... a nice flat toilet base. How much new can you say about toilet seat risers? For those who need more specifics, it has a smooth, yet nubby texture because it's plastic. There is the front and back cutouts for ease of personal hygiene. There is also a soft, rounded tapering of the seat itself, probably for your derriere's comfort, and also possibly for drainage of accidental drippage of any kind. It's about 4 3/4" tall at it's sides; at the back, about 4" because of the curving of the seat, and about 3 1/4" at the front because of the front cutout. (I have to say "about" because my laptop doesn't have a tilde, and I don't want anybody gettin' mad or suing because of my astigmatism.)If you flip it over, there are 4 black, rubbery/nubby pads on the under sides of the seat (10:30, 1:30, 4, and 6 o'clock positions, (if looking at the underside, point up) which keep the plastic from sliding on the enamel of your toilet. There are also two indentations (about 1 1/2" wide x 5" long, 1 1/4" deep) at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions for the ease of getting your hands under the Yunga seat to lift/clean it and the toilet. The egg-shaped hole in the center is 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide (internal diameter). there is the ring that extends down from it (into the toilet) that is 1" deep. The external diameter of this ring (more crucial because it has to fit into your toilet) is 11 1/4" long x 9 1/4" wide. (I suspect that this may fit everything in the US, except maybe disaster bucket-type loos. This will hopefully give you more info than I found on the dealer's site.) It is marked, "Made in USA," AND has a recycling HDPE #2 plastics logo, so it's recyclable as well!It is fairly easily cleaned with Comet--forget to rinse or you'll have a green, shiny hiney!P. S. If you have a hip resection, they WILL FORGET to advise you that if you wear ladies panties or men's briefs (Hey, I ain't pointin' fingers at NO-body!), the elastic will 'cut' at your incision line--get a pair of boxers! (Again, hey, you're on Amazon; it's easy to order!)(...And "NO," I don't work for them, any boxer sellers, or even Tunga.) Best of Luck in your toileting futures!!!

Great price, quality and delivery!
August 20, 2017
Had to get one of these, said I never would! Using two canes was just too dangerous... almost fell in a restaurant... that convinced me. I had it in a couple "work days". easy to assemble and adjust to height. I'm 350#s and it works fine for me when we go out. I also got the "skis" for it.
Great value
July 2, 2017
Excellent walker for the price. I used this walker after a lower body surgery and it worked great. I really put it through it's paces, also. The folding hinges are a nice feature if you need to travel by car, train or airplane.
Worked great for my wife
April 22, 2017
Wife used this for her total knee replacement.Worked great. Local medical equipment supplier was like $170 for a similar product. Awesome product for the money.
Dad liked this tray
April 17, 2017
Dad loved using this tray when he had to use the walker in his home. We found two mugs that fit the hole perfectly so that nothing spilled. The only thing, which was reported by others was the angle was a bit off when it's snapped in. It would tilt down a bit more than expected. Overall a nice tray
Well made easy to use and transport
March 29, 2017
Sturdy, easy to adjust, nice handles. Easy for my elder dad to handle. He is 135lbs, not a big guy, but also not strong. He is able to move around well after some practice with his PT. Easy to fold up for putting in the car. A good price for a well made product.
Here's My Experience with the Drive Medical Deluxe Two Button Walker - Pros & Cons with my own pictures
October 19, 2016
Here’s my personal experience setting up and using the Drive Medical deluxe two button folding walker that I just got from Amazon. And I’ve included my own pictures too, to show you what I’m talking about.First, I liked that this Drive Medical folding walker came in flat box that was only 4” deep, which made it really easy to lift, carry up steps and into the house. It was also easy to open the box and slide out the walker. The walker is folded flat, out of the box, and the front wheels and back leg extensions are separated into plastic bags.Putting the legs on this Drive Medical walker was much easier than I thought. And I really love that I put the whole walker together without any tools! You just slide on the front legs (with wheels), and back legs, onto the existing walker legs. And you can adjust this walkers height by aligning the holes in the leg extensions with the locking button on each of the existing walker legs.Really, it was very easy to attach all 4 legs and adjust it to my height. As you can see, I’m pretty short, so I set my walker legs to the #2 position. Now, I gotta say, I was worried about how this walker would fit through my doorways & hallways. A few of my hallways are narrow and I was worried that this walker would be just too wide. BUT, here’s a very helpful solution I really want to share because I think it can help a lot of people: when I was reading reviews of different walkers, I found a great tip on [...] that showed me how to reduce the width of my walker by just switching the wheels! It’s a really EASY fix: just take the front left & right legs, with wheels, and reverse them. And you’ll see that your wheels are now sitting inside the frame of the walker. Not on the outside. By switching the position of the front wheels, I cut down my walker width by almost 4”! And now my hallways are not a problem. I found this easy fix on [...]I tried out the push button release, at the top of the walker, to unfold the two sides. I was happy to see that the red release button was easy to press down. I have a little neuropathy (numbness) in my fingers, so I have to avoid buttons or levers that are hard to press down. But I didn’t have any problems using the red release button on this walker to fold & unfold it.This Drive Medical Walker is light, but it still feels very sturdy to me. The 5” wheels roll smoothly and I don’t see that the wheels have made any marks on my floors. (That’s important to me.)The hand grips on this walker are cushioned and I think anyone would like the way they feel. I’m going to try this walker for a while, and if the neuropathy in my fingers flares up, I can just get inexpensive, even more cushy walker handgrips covers to help. All in all, I really love this foldable walker and I would recommend it to any friend of mine. I guess, the only thing that I think could be improved would be to clearly mark the legs with wheels to show that they should be put on the front of the walker. When I first put on all the legs, I put the wheels on the back. Wrong. It was my mistake, I know, and I could easily fix it, but I think the directions/packaging could have been a little bit clearer. All in all, I think this walker is a winner. In my opinion, it’s a great mix of quality & price.

Safe grip
October 29, 2017
Purchased this to help me stand up in shower and beside toilet. Had foot surgery and will be non weight bearing for 12 weeks and didn’t want to permanently drill holes in the wall for a bar. This was easy to install Ns easy to test for secure hold, have been using it for 3 days now and it hasn’t moved or lost its suction on the wall of the bathroom or the wall of the shower highly recommend for temporary help in getting up
Great for pregnancy too!
July 13, 2017
I have just started my third trimester. As my stomach has grown I can definitely tell my sense of balance is off. Having a suction bath mat in the floor of my shower did not help much because the floor is slightly textured so the mat won't stay suctioned for long. After rinsing off suds, my walk in shower feels like I'm standing on banana peels soaked in oil lol. I bought two of these, one for the actual shower wall (like a re-bath material) and one across from it on the glass enclosure. They have a great grip! I still move slowly and take my time, but these really help make me feel safer as I turn around in the shower.
Very nice: Works with trapped air "suction" a little air ...
May 20, 2017
Very nice: Works with trapped air "suction" a little air will come out over time. I have found if you release the lock lever about every 10 days or so, then press the locking lever down again locking in a fresh batch of air the unit will work just great. The air issue is not a defect, it is something that happens to all locking devices. It works great on sliding glass doors. the kind that can pinch a finger. 5 Stars pric and value work out well, make are a good buy.
This is a great product, and really a good value
January 9, 2017
This is a great product, and really a good value. I saw a similar grip bar at a Marriott, and thought it would work great in our shower. No holes to drill in tile, or metal bars to rust. This attaches with 2 suction cups, and really locks on the tile.I put two in the shower in our master bath, on opposite walls, and feel safe when getting in and out of the shower. I will buy several more for other tubs in the house.Fully recommend this product and seller.
Great grip
October 2, 2016
My elderly mother lives with me and it's been getting harder for her to get in and out of the shower. I bought her a shower stool as well as this grip bar so she can take a shower safely. This grip bar is great. It very easily suctions on to the shower wall and once it's there it stays put until you move it. Very easy to use, just flip the tabs to get it to suction on or to release the suction. This has really made a difference for my mother and I wish I had bought this long ago. This would also be awesome for little kids for getting them in to, and out of a bath!
Gives great support as long as you have large tiles.
August 13, 2016
Used this after ankle surgery for my shower. My wife made sure I knew I wouldn't be drilling any holes in the wall for support, so this was my answer. Must have room for it to fit in the middle of a tile (can not span across grout, or it won't stick). It has a disclaimer sticker that says it's just for balancing and do not put your full weight on it. Well I've pulled myself up using it several times, no problem, and feels 100% stable. I'm almost 300 pounds, so I think that's a pretty good test of the performance.

Don't put it on the toilet seat!
June 21, 2017
It's stable on the toilet bowl but unstable on the toilet seat. It's a good height for me and my old knees - I'm 5 ft 6 inches, and my feet aren't flat on the floor when I'm sitting on it. 'Nice to be able to get on and off the seat easily!
Good for someone who needs a temporary raised toilet
March 23, 2017
After ankle surgery, the physical therapist at the hospital recommended a raised toilet seat to make going to the bathroom easier while I had a hard cast and crutches. Of course my insurance would not pay for it, so I had to find something low cost, that would fit my elongated toilet, and was an easy temporary installation. Look no further! After using the toilet for a few days before this seat arrived, I thought maybe I didn't actually need it. Once I used it, I couldn't believe how I went without. Definetly makes it easier to sit down and get up. It's pretty light, my husband easily takes it off when he needs the toilet. Its fairly sturdy, although when you first sit it can move a bit which is why I knocked off a star, but its not enough to slide off the toilet or anything like that. If you're I highly reccomend!
convenient and sits secure
January 16, 2017
needed this after foot surgery and non weight bearing for 7 weeks... was pleasantly surprised it just sits on the commode and rarely moved at all... really did what was needed at the time... :)
Best for you
October 15, 2015
The seat was just what I needed after a recent hip replacement surgery. It does fit and elongated toilet, and probably would fit a round bowl too. This was great, except for the fact that it is so high, that it was just a bit too high for me. It has some appliqués on the bottom that help it to stabilize on the toilet rim. I very much appreciated having the height of this seat without the arms of a regular handicapped toilet seat.Just be certain to know that your health insurance will not pay for this kind of toilet seat. It doesn't make sense to me, this is much less expensive than the other seats that they will pay for.
Huge Help!
June 10, 2014
The hospital sent me home with a potty chair that fit over the commode but it had arms that could not be adjusted. It scraped the staples from my incision and was extremely uncomfortable. I chose to purchase the Yunga Tart Raised toilet seat because it was a simple design with no arms. I was concerned that it would slip but I've used this for the last two weeks and it hasn't slipped once. Since I will have to use a raised seat for several months, I like the idea that I can take this with me when I travel and know that I can protect my new hip.
Good Purchase for me
May 2, 2014
I bought two raised toilet seats. The Yunga Tart and the Invacare. I like both well enough. The both fit on the bowl rim. The Yunga one seems to fit a little snugger and therefore more steady. But the thing I like most about the Yunga is that it has cut outs in the front and rear of it for easier access in wiping.

Perfect for getting around
July 1, 2017
Lightweight. Perfect for getting around. A little noisy but no big deal.
Excellent concept
May 28, 2017
Plus of the product is that it does not block the entire opening of the walker so the user can stand correctly within the walking space of the walker. Minus of the product is that the tray does not lie completely level when in use....at least we have not been able to get it to do so even using walker by same manufacturer.
great for a small woman like me
March 4, 2017
Not for a large person but wow, great for a small woman like me! And 70$ LESS than the one we got at the medical supply store. It also fits through the doors around my (very old) house a lot better. I got one for my car too!
Very pleased
March 2, 2017
Great product, and easy to put together. The only problem is that for some reason, it's not perfectly level, but we managed to figure out a work around (an extra cap on the problem leg). It's very sturdy and has been a great help.
Things that make you go HUM!
June 22, 2016
Bought for husband for hip surgery has worked out great. Reversing the wheels was a must for us or he could not get through doors in our house. As for the seller and shipping????? Surgery was moved up so I contacted seller assured me it would be there like that day I got reply. Got it the day after. Shipped from a totaly different place. Things that make you go HUM! Shipped Fed Ex came with the box totaly wide open. I mean flapping in the wind open! Just held my breath to see if all parts were there. No instructions! Lucky I guess they were cuz I got it together. We were down to the wire with needing it so...Counting my blessings.
Sturdy, light weight walker
September 25, 2015
Such a sturdy and light weight walker. I've used this for a month now. It is easy for me to fold it up, put in the car myself and get into the car. The only challenge was when I bought skis and tennis balls to put on the bottom after seeing it recommended on Amazon to buy this together. This is so it glides along better. I couldn't get the bottoms off. A few people said they had to cut them off, sounds like a bad idea. Or they took it apart and pushed a rod through the hole and pushed it out. This is why I gave it 4 stars. It shouldn't be this difficult. Especially since I bought the recommended Drive products to go with this.

Great foot rest for shaving legs
July 3, 2017
Worked well for my purpose - a place to prop my foot while shaving my legs. I used this on a cruise because I heard the showers were small with no place to prop your foot. I tried it at home first and it took a couple attempts before I got a good lock and it would support my leg weight. Worked fine on the ship. I'm not sure I would use this as a primary support if I needed help getting in and out of the shower daily, but it could work if someone checked it frequently.
Firm Grip
March 26, 2017
After several tries I got the placement correct and it's firmly attached. The only issue is that it's just a tad too short to fit exactly within a 4 inch tile. It has been in place for several weeks now and feels as firmly placed as when I first installed it. I think it's important to wipe the tile with alcohol to remove any soap or scum, and the tiles need to be smooth, not textured.
Temporary
December 8, 2016
I recently had surgery and needed to be able to "grab" something to help me lift up or down. This has been a tremendous help. I have a solid shower material and the bar has been great. In the commode area my walls couldn't hold the suction grip I needed. I used the flat surface of the back of the door which worked for me. For my short term needs this was great as long as I don't rely 100% for lift and balance. If you are looking for someone elderly or needs to rely on the bars to steady I would go for professionally installed bars to be 100% safe. Tem
Strong, sturdy grip to flat surfaces; easy to use levers.
April 24, 2014
I already owned one of these (MHI brand) shower handles and needed a second one to install in another spot. As long as you're applying the suction cups to a flat surface, this baby will mount well. What makes the suction cups grip better (than other "locking" cups) is the built-in compression spring trapped between the topside of each cup and (hidden from view) underside of the each mouth at the ends of the handle. Rotating the levers downward compresses the springs, increasing the normal (orthogonal) load on each cup, pushing out the air underneath them, creating a better partial vacuum which in turn gives the cups better suction.
Glad I did not return it.....make sure to wet it first!
May 9, 2013
The handle fell a few times after placing it in different areas of the bathroom, even on smooth large tiles. I was ready to return it when I decided to read most of the reviews and noticed one where the reviewer made the suggestion of wetting it at the corners. I am so glad I did not return it! I wetted it lightly all around the edges of the cups and have had it up for over 2 weeks now and it is so firm that I feel very secured when I get in and out of the tub. I have it placed in the bathtub which is made of fiberglass and not exactly 100% smooth, it is barely noticeable but it has a slight corrugated design. You almost need a magnifier to notice it; I mention it only as reference.Update two months later. The handle fell and I had some problems keeping it in place. I was wetting only the outer part of the round portion. I wetted the entire inner part of the cups and so far the handle has been holding firm for the last 4 days.
Good in the correct context
November 4, 2009
I am an occupational therapist who does home health with geriatric patients. I am constantly searching for certain adaptive equipment to make my patients' bathrooms safer. As unfortunate as it is, many people are unwilling to give up aesthetics for safety! That means they won't install real grab bars into their tiled showers because it will mess up their tile. That's where this product comes in handy. I looked at several different brands before purchasing this one for my patients. I have since tried it on many different surfaces and it works with varying results depending on where you position it.I've tried it on walls - it sticks...for about 1/2 hour. Don't do it. You'll end up hurting yourself! Even if your wall isn't textured it will come off.If you're using it as a handle on the edge of your bathtub to get in/out, it'll work great! That sucker will not come off no matter how hard you tug on it. Plus, it's not high enough to catch your legs when you're trying to get your legs over the edge (thinking more of geriatric patients who have hip and knee range of motion problems). In the actual shower area, your results again are varied. Your best bet is a shower that has a smooth surface, like laminate or faux tile. However, I've had fairly good results with tiled showers too. Just make sure that at least one of the suction cups is exclusively over a tiled area and not a grout area. Sometimes the grout lines don't provide the surface area that the cup needs to get a tight suction. So the long and short of it is make sure you are putting this on a surface that can get a good seal. Let the grab bar sit un-used for about 4-5 hours. If it would fall off, it will on its own during this time. After that, if it's still on, you're probably good to go. But I'd tug on it a few times to make sure. The first time I bought it, I did a few test runs on surfaces in my own home. I decided that I'd hold onto the box and all packaging and not hesitate to return it if it didn't work out. So far I've placed 4 of them in patients' homes and that says a lot because I'm the one on the line if they don't work out.Update 3/13: Fast forward a few years...I was making this recommendation to a few patients back then but only with the advice that people use it for stability only. I am now withholding even that advice. I've had a lot more experience with them now and even the brands that I was "recommending" at the time are now off my list. They can not be fully trusted and it is better to be safe than sorry, to be cliche. I hate to go back on what I said but I've seen personally even a few weeks later of a good tight seal, coming off in a person's hands. This is not good. If you live in a rental and your manager won't let you install real bars, then you may not have any other option but I would tug and check these bars daily and especially before you intend to hold it. Even in these circumstances, there are tension bars and tub clamps that may give more stability than suction cup grabbars. That's my new take.

This seat is 2 inches to high!
June 26, 2017
I thought this seat would be great by the reviews. Here's the skinny- It is too high!On a shorter toilet and the newer ones. I have one of each.Your feet do NOT touch the floor. For someone ill and shaky on their feet this is not good.Better have long legs.So I would not recommend.
Arrived missing a foam pad - otherwise, seems ok.
May 14, 2017
I am having surgery in three days and ordered this to help with recovery. I was excited to receive it and set it up so I could start preparing. And while it looks like it will work just fine, it arrived missing one of the four foam pads on the back. I want to give this product more stars but was just annoyed by the missing pad. Eh, I am sure it's not critical, but it was disappointing. Any thoughts on what I can replace it with to prevent the seat from slipping? I will update the review once I've had some post-surgery experience with the product.
Probably Good For Most People, As Long As You Are Physically Stable
May 13, 2017
It's ok. It seemed to work best with the seat raised, i.e placed on the bowl rim. As light as this seat is (it's completely hollow), and even with the grippers on the bottom, for me it was a challenge to use as I was very unstable (physically) coming out of the hospital. The seat has a tendency to shift if you don't plant yourself straight down on it. I even flipped it several times, causing me to loose my balance (my legs were very weak and unstable after spinal cord surgery). Again, my situation may be unique. Once on the "throne," it was quite comfortable and cleaning myself (I am a male) was not a challenge. I don't believe it's for everyone. You need to be physically stable. Ultimately I went to a bedside commode with excellent results.
Solid product for a small to medium size person.
December 15, 2016
Needed this after hip replacement surgery. Served its purpose. Solidly built. Stayed secure on the toilet w/o and wobble or shifting. It held my weight easily (6'8" 340 lbs) but the opening is very small making use of this by a large person very difficult. The best day of my recovery was when I no longer needed this! Would do well for a small to average size person.
My toilet is more of the round type so this fit nicely. It would have been 5 stars
September 13, 2016
I brought this for my mother who is 87 and was in the hospital/ rehab for 3 months. When she got home she was too weak to get up on her own when on the toilet. I purchased this raised toilet seat so she can be more independent. My toilet is more of the round type so this fit nicely. It would have been 5 stars, but something happened. The bathroom toilet is used by others in the family so the raised seat had to be on the side sometimes. One morning when my mom went to pick up the raised seat she fell down on the bathroom floor. My mom said the seat was too bulky to hold with one hand so she had to grab it with both. That's when she lost her balance and fell down.I improve the seat by by drilling a hole and putting a nylon strap to the front side of the seat. Now she can grab the seat with 1 hand to put it on or to bring it to the tub to clean it. The seat cleans very easy
did the job, wobbly on our oval toilet
March 6, 2014
Easy to install (just lift lid and seat and place on) which is what I wanted post surgery. However, wobbly on our oval toilet so not good long term solution for our home but good, easy short term solution.

Good walker as long as you don't have any 24 inch doors in your house or apartment.
September 24, 2017
The walker is 20 inches wide at the top and without the wheels attached; when you mount the wheels the walker exceeds 24-25 inches. This makes the walker unable to be guided through a standard 24 inch door. Many houses have 24 inch doors leading to a bathroom toilet.Measure all your doors that the user will need to transverse. Any door 24 inches or less.....you are out of luck with this walker! Finally, I contacted customer service to inquire if the wheels could be removed and reinstalled on the interior instead of the exterior---the answer was NO. Last, I suggested that they design a walker that would not exceed 20-22 inches with the wheels installed.
good and bad features
September 1, 2017
It is light which I like but too light for outdoors on brick or cracked pavement. Hard to control then. Easily put into back seat of car. It is narrow so not suitable of a man or large woman. Better for indoor use and the narrowness makes it easy to maneuver and move through doors and into closets and bathrooms.
Rather have gotten different type that rested flat and could be more easily removed and put back on
May 25, 2017
Hard to put on. Tends to rest at an angle so things slide off. Rather have gotten different type that rested flat and could be more easily removed and put back on. If folded down and left on for transport walker does not fold and store well and tray occasionally comes loose.
and have been very satisfied. This Driver walker is wobbly
March 3, 2017
I've had 3 Drive rollators - one for indoors, a smaller and a larger for outdoor uses, and have been very satisfied. This Driver walker is wobbly, squeaky, unsteady and rather frightening
OK...BUT...
October 4, 2016
OK...BUT...did not last. Not sure how long a walker should last but one side of the top push button mechanism broke after 2 months and that makes it very awkward to put into the car. I have been so busy with my Mother that had a stroke that I did not have a chance to return it or contact customer service so I can't say if the company would have made good on it or not. If not for the broken mechanism I would give it 5 stars.
Seems it may be easy for the tray to slip out of the locking ...
July 5, 2016
Doesn't fit my sister's Drive walker very well. Side pieces that clamp on are not as wide as walker so they bend out. The locking mechanism for the tray seems a bit light weight. Seems it may be easy for the tray to slip out of the locking slot on the sides, which would cause it to flip and spill it's contents. Overall not the best made product, but I think it will work for a while.

Good Product, But Hard To Know If It Will Work In Your House
August 26, 2017
This is a good quality product, and their advertising is honest about it's limitations, but it doesn't hold on our tile (so is useless to us), and until you get one to try it, you really won't know. It wasn't worth the hassle to return so we'll give it away.
Wrong color.
June 24, 2017
The product works well and shipment was prompt, but there is one big problem. The picture shows a grip that appears to be gray and white, yet what we received as a grip that is purple! Or lilac! This is not a color that works in our bathroom or anywhere else in our house. Why I have one in this color, and why the picture on the site does not show it as such, is beyond me!
WORKS BUT CHECK TO SEE IF IT FITS YOUR TILES IN YOUR SHOWER
July 28, 2016
Changing Lifestyles Safe-er-Grip 11.5" Balance Assist BarTHIS WORKS BUT NOT FOR MY TUB AND SHOWER, YOU NEED TO FIRST MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE TILES ON YOUR SHOWER OR NOT A FLAT SURFACE TO CHECK IF THE SUCTION CUPS WILL LINE UP PERFECT IF NOT ITS NOT GOING TO STAY. ITS KINDA HARD TO DO THAT WITHOUT BUY IT FIRST. I REALLY WANTED IT FOR THE TUB FOR MY BABY TO HOLD ON TO. BUT ITS TOO BIG FOR THE TOP OF TUB AND UNLESS YOU HAVE A PERFECTLY SQUARE TUB IT WON'T WORK FOR THE SIDE EITHER. SEEMS WELL CONSTRUCTED AND WILL WORK IF YOU HAVE FLAT SURFACE BUT MOST PEOPLE I KNOW DON'T. IF MY REVIEW AND PICTURES WERE HELPFUL PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS!

March 20, 2016
Doesn't fit on the tile in my bathroom. The tiles are about 3 5/8" square. I don't know if this is odd or what. I'll probably use it as another reviewer showed, with just one suction cup mounted. I got it to rest my foot on in the shower and it should suffice for that. Would be nice if the product said what size tile it was intended for; I couldn't find any mention.Update: Do NOT try to use this thing if only one suction cup will grip. I put my foot up on it and it popped off the wall and I nearly broke my neck.
Walls can get damaged
September 12, 2015
Well it does stick to tile...and apparently to some walls. One side would not stick to the wall. The other side? It stuck and YES is can damage the wall. Left a suction circle and Took the paint right off...see photo. Use in tub area only...no where near grout lines
Not what I expected.
May 31, 2014
It's a great looking handle, well constructed. I only gave it three stars because it does not stay in place. It gives you a false sense of security. If you are about to fall, it is not going to stop you... It will come down with you. It slides down the wall, or across the bath tub if you are trying to use it to help you get up from a bath, or raise from the toilet. This handle is only good to steady somebody that is not so sure on their balance. If you are buying this for an elderly loved one or yourself, I recommend that you buy something you can screw into the wall. That's what I ended up doing.

No room for wiping.
Needs improvement
June 28, 2017
It works but opening is on the small size. After about ten days of use after hip surgery it is starting to collapse on the top and both sides. Do not feel it will give out all at once. I weigh 175lb.Shipped fast and had no problems with tipping or extreme movement.
Close, but no cigar
May 26, 2017
Big problems with this product, if you happen to be MALE. There just isn't enough clearance in the toilet opening to jam your penis through to comfortably urinate. Probably fine for women, should be marketed them exclusively. I've struggled to use this for two weeks. Finally I ordered a different product, elongated with open front.
NOT for elongated toilets!
April 16, 2017
If you are not sure what kind of toilet you have, make sure. The hole is SMALL. NO room for maneuvering with toilet paper! At first it feels secure, but if you wiggle around to reach for toilet paper, or to TRY to get your hand through the tiny hole, you will feel it suddenly slip. This can be panic-inducing when you are elderly or recovering from surgery or an injury. I doubt if it is much better on the smaller, round toilet bowls.
Read before buying!
August 25, 2016
It is a solid lift toilet seat. It says it fits regular and extended toilets which is true, however on a regular toilet it does slide around quite a bit. That bothers me! I recently had a hip replacement and sitting on something stable is important! It also shows evidence that you have went to the restroom really easy! I really don't want to clean it everyday! The good is the dip in the front and the back for access to clean yourself. It is sturdy and if I had an elongated toilet I would be happier with it! Price is great!
I am disappointed in this seat
February 25, 2015
I am disappointed in this seat,i have purchased a few and all have fit my toilets but this one is wider and slips around,i will try what one customer suggested and use it with the toilet seat down.It was pretty cheap so i will try to make it work. Also on the wrapper it say's weight limit 275,i did not see anything about that when i bought it.I would return it but there is no packing slip with it.

Stinky Walker
December 27, 2016
The hand grips on this walker emit an unpleasant odor making in necessary to store the device in the garage until the odor dissipates; not what we wanted when a family member needs help walking.
disappointed
May 16, 2014
I was so looking forward to having the independence this tray would offer. How disappointed I was to find that, the oneI received did not work. It did not lie flat, when the tray was put in the up position. It was so tilted that without the rim, onthe tray, everything would slide off. Since there did not seem to be anyway to fix it, I had to send it back. I did like the ideaof the metal grips, that hold the tray onto the walker, and perhaps I just got a bad one. I was trying to us it on a Drive walker, just like the one in the illustration.

Not dependable
September 1, 2017
I have 2 of these and neither one will stay stuck for long. I have followed the directions about applying it to a clean, dry surface. I also tried moistening the suction cups slightly. Neither one work for long. I use this on a desk top to assist me when I need to rise from my chair so it's not like I am depending on it 100%. Please be careful if you are planning on installing it somewhere that it cannot be tested each and every time it must be used.
Not really white and odd size
June 1, 2017
Color is not really "white". Looks lavender against actual white tile. Also a really odd length, can sometimes get it to stick like glue even with a hair of grout line covered, other times I wouldn't trust it to last a minute. I will be returning these as I don't like the weird color and don't believe I trust the grip, even as only a steadying guide not meant to weight bearing like a permanent mount. There is a better option that is actually white and properly spaced for standard and common 4" bathroom tile from Vive in a 16" length.
Dangerous devise. Keeps coming off the shower wall.
April 4, 2017
We have a fiberglass shower. We prepped the wall, remove soap residue etc., before installing. It stays on the wall for about 1-2 weeks before it comes loose when getting in or out of the shower. This is not a safe situation. Wife is recovering from hip surgery and this coming loose almost caused her to fall. Lost all confidence in the devise.
Lasts about 3 months
December 2, 2016
Lasted less than 3 months. Gave one to a friend , as well, who needed the extra support after surgery.Started out very wonderful. Began to count on it.Removed it from the shower wall to clean. Trying to reattach, it sprung apart. Unable to reuse. Nearly the same thing happened to my friend's, also.I am big. She was about 130pounds.
Didn't meet my needs
March 5, 2016
This is a well made grip, and it has a tight grip if you secure it correctly. However, it didn't meet my needs. It loses its grip after a while so you have to secure it before each use. I bought two hoping it would help me get out of the bathtub. It just didn't work for me. I didn't trust it to handle my full body weight. For certain situations, it may be fine, just not for my needs. No problem returning through Amazon.
Grip Lossens Up After Use
March 5, 2014
The Safer Grip is constructed well and has a nice feel to the handle/grip and is very easy to attach to bathroom tiling. I don't recommend this product to be used on any vertical walls/tiling in your bathroom. It attaches firmly when first applied to the tile - but can loosen up as time goes by after a while and becomes unsafe for someone who thinks it is still firmly attached to the tiling. You can reach for it as a hand hold, and can potentially wind up falling/slipping if the grip slides off the wall. I wouldn't recommend this product.

DANGER!!! Unstable!!!
August 23, 2017
Dangerously unstable! This simply sets on top of the toilet seat. When I tried sitting on it, I nearly fell. The entire thing flew off of the toilet. There is absolutely no way to sit down on this. The risk of injury is much too high to ever recommend it to anyone who may need this.
Wasted money for handicapped people
April 28, 2017
This raised toilet seat was way too high for my husband. It is NOT mentioned anywhere on Amazon (or by Yunga Tart) that it is UNRETURNABLE> nor was I given the option of choosing a less elevated seat. Bummer! Wasted money for handicapped people.

September 6, 2014
like a big blobby doughnut with a small hole in the center, if you are unsteady or transferring from the side, have no one or want no one to seat you every time you use it you it , don't get this. can't be comfortable because shape of seat top is so poor, unstable because it doesn't lock, if you don't sit straight down from the top it moves, a scary situation, the center hole is too small so the toilet seat would require very frequent cleaning, the 1 and 2 star reviews of this item tell the real story. oh, BTW it is NOT light weight.

Buyer Beware
July 14, 2017
This product is apparently not eligible for return. Be aware that not all walkers are the same width and measure first. I'm now stuck with a useless tray. I guess I'll donate this one and order another one for my wife.
Tray made by Drive for its own walker Does Not Fit!
July 5, 2017
The tray model number 10125 does NOT fit on the walker, model number 10228G. This is despite the tray being advertised on the Drive Co website and on the box containing the tray. That is, both items are made by Drive, are supposed to fit each other and do not! Adding insult to inconvenience and expense, Amazon refuses to accept returns on this item. So I am stuck without a tray while my wife needs during recovery from hip replacement surgery, am out $25, and have no clear way getting a tray that will work. Drive and Amazon are both at fault in this. NOT FAIR, NOT HONEST, NOT COMPETENT!
DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU KNOW ABSOLUTELY THAT IT WILL FIT YOUR WALKER - AMAZON WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS
June 26, 2017
if you don't know that it will fit the walker you have DO NOT ORDER - as Amazon will accept returns. So now we have a tray that will not fit her walker. It was never used and now it's useless. No where on the description did it state that I could not return this if it did not fit.
Does not fit on specified walker without modifications
April 15, 2017
Had to be modified to fit the DRIVE WALKER even though it was designed for that specific walker. Without modifications, the tray DIDNOT FIT SNUGLY to the walker.
Dissatisfied purchase of walker tray.
December 21, 2016
This is the worst purchase I have ever bought from amazon. I purchased this for my 85 year old mother. It is dangerous as it puts too much weight on the front of the walker and tries to tip it over when it is in the folded down position. Would love to return it. Used it for a couple of hours and put it right back in the box it came in.
Poor Workmanship
January 20, 2016
Hard to install clips to walker legs. The screw, which allows the tray to fold, kept backing out, making it very unstable. Would like to have a few more square inches added to the tray surface. A decent concept but poor workmanship. It is being returned even as we speak.

Will Not Stay Attached
September 21, 2017
Not worth your trouble. No matter how hard I tried to get these to stay attached to the shower wall, nothing worked. I took suggestions from other reviews, but no go. When one went crashing down in the middle of the night, I threw it into the garbage.
NOT
August 17, 2017
The round suction pieces extend outward further than ll.5 inches. I have 4" tiles in my shower and this overlaps grout lines and should fit well within the grout lines so it's a useless and dangerous "SAFETY" grip.
Save your money
June 10, 2017
Suction doesn't hold. Glad I wasn't taking a shower when it let loose and fell off. Very disappointed! I need something reliable as I just had knee surgery. My walls are totally flat with no ridges. It should have stayed put for MONTHS! Live and learn!
Only work for smooth surfaces
June 3, 2017
I purchased two of these due to pending surgery. Only after they fell off the walls, did I read on the box (not on Amazon) that they require a smooth surface to adhere. So they might be helpful if your shower, bath, or walls are smooth but don't waste your money if you have raised surfaces as I do. I know have handles I can't use.
Doesn't work!
February 15, 2017
Regardless of the amount of cleaning and polishing on ceramic tiles these things wouldn't stay in place. Not safe!
WARNING: This fell off my wall within an hour - Tried 3 x and it fell 3 times on its own.
October 26, 2016
Followed directions and at first it appeared to hold tightly. Within an hour, I heard a loud bang and it was the handle falling off the wall. Tried it several more times, even moved it. Still, within an hour, it would completely lose its hold. I applied to smooth, non-porous and dry wall. Will try to return.
