Love my scooter
July 27, 2016
Love my scooter! Lung problems was preventing nice long walks with my little fur girl. She now gets the exercise needed and I get to enjoy the ride.Side note: Not quite as easily portable as thought . Would not bother breaking it down for a short trip somewhere. For the day or longer would be worth it...

We purchased the MiniRider for my father-in-law, who's 95. It has given him a renewed sense of confidence and independence. The whole family is thrilled. We were able to refer his 99 year old friend and she and her family are just as happy. They are quite the sight as they travel down the hallway together. Thank you very much.

Works wonderfully
The battery life was good and was able go everywhere
January 27, 2016
Just took a trip to NEW Zealand. My Rider worked well. The battery life was good and was able go everywhere. My problem was the airlines they were hung up on the battery, coming home they removed the battery and it went to some place else. Took about a week to track it down. Would suggest two things, a label attached to the battery that says what it is and a swivel seat for easy in standing up.
Very easy to use
April 29, 2015
Very easy to use.The only drawback was that i ordered the model with the SLA battery. It works fine but it makes the scooter heavier to lift
It is easy for us to load and unload
November 3, 2014
This has allowed my husband the freedom to travel, restaurants, hotel motel and others. It is easy for us to load and unload. We keep it in the trunk of the car so it is always available to him no matter where we go.
Very Compact and Opens easily.
September 22, 2014
It is compact, easy to open and easy to close. It's a little heavy 70+lbs to lift up in the car with the standard batteries. I will probably get the Lithium batteries which will reduce the weight by 15 lbs or so.

Just the minimum scooter
April 28, 2017
This scooter has 1/2 the padding in the seat as the Go Go and rides much rougher. Like the tires are too hard or something. However, I do like that it has a bit more ground clearance than the Go Go and handles going up hill better than the Go Go. Overall, much cheaper built than the Pride Go Go Elite Traveler.
Nice scooter
September 28, 2016
Perfect for my needs. Turns and drives easily with a little bit of a stiff ride but good for a mini.. Long lasting charge of the battery. Easy assembly (no thanks to directions!) excited to get my scoot on.
An Excellent Product
June 17, 2015
The MiniRider I purchased for my daughter is exactly as advertised. It's sturdy, easy to use, and pretty fast (not dangerously so). It looks pretty sporty for a mobility scooter. My daughter was able to assemble it easily. Once assembled, it's easy to break down into three components - the seat, the chassis, and the battery. The heavy chassis comes with a handle in the front, making it easy to move by lifting it up and rolling it on the back wheels. The instructions state not to lift it by the plastic body; however, there is no handle in the back, so lifting it up to put it in a vehicle isn't easy. My daughter flew with it and had no problems with TSA or the airline. The product could be improved if the seat back could be adjusted to permit leaning back a little more. Overall, an excellent product.

Works nicely, but a little uncomfortable since I am almost 6 foot tall. I think it is made for shorter people. Folding and unfolding is very easy and makes it managable to put into the back of my SUV

Incredible engineering, quality parts throughout, however it is uncomfortable, especially for large people. Good for its purpose, but don't expect to lift in and out of your trunk or SUV by yourself.Warranty is for parts only?

Basically Performs as Expected & Very Compact
April 19, 2015
My elderly mom bought this thinking she could use it to get around the house and, I presume, throw it in the trunk and use it anywhere as needed. Neither is going to happen. The turning radius is not tight enough to navigate the turns in her house, necessitating the rider to get off and pull the scooter sideways to make corners, for example. The unit is heavy and I don't see an elderly person being able to lift it. Putting it in and lifting it out of the trunk is not for people with weak backs! We received the unit a little damaged--the fender above the rear wheels rubbed against one or both wheels, making a scraping noise that alerted everyone around her when she was riding it. On reading the warranty, it excludes coverage for the fenders; gotta wonder why. The fender assembly is one plastic part that spans both wheels, so it does not appear to be adjustable. However, the scraping seems to have self-corrected somehow and is not an issue at this time.We used the unit on a moderate 50-yard hill and although the scooter slowed down quite a bit, it made it to the top and battery drainage was not substantial. We used it for a mile or so total that day, and the battery charge indicator showed the charge was still in the green. We tried using it in the back yard but the wheels slipped on grass on a slight incline. I think the directions state that it should not be used off of hard surfaces, but I like adventures... We tried using it on a gravel drive and a brick sidewalk and both were very bumpy rides; the tires are (I think) hard plastic. So far, with just two miles on the scooter and other than the hardware problem with the fender (which self-corrected), we have not had any failures. I am impressed with the engineering and compactness of the unit when folded; it fits easily in the back of my compact car. Mom loves it. I'd really give it 3.5 stars at this point, but am rounding down due to the uncertainty about whether the fender scraping will return. I'll update this as she puts more miles on it.

Too Heavy
December 4, 2016
The scooter itself is great. The problem is it's too heavy for me to lift into my car. I bought it so I could have some freedom to go shopping on my own. Because of the weight I can only use it when my husband is home to go with me.

DO NOT BUY if you are disabled!!!
May 23, 2017
I am so frustrated with this purchase. When I received this item we removed it from the box, read all the instructions especially those pertaining to the assembly and disassembly as I would be traveling with this scooter. To take it apart it took two people to pull out the pin that holds the front and back together (the way to disassemble) it was very difficult. We put it back together, charged it and then took it for my first ride. It worked great! I brought it home and plugged it in for a recharge. That weekend we took off for one of the Disney resorts/parks for the day. It worked fine for almost 8 hours, but then it suddenly would not accelerate more than the turtle speed even though it was set for rabbit speed. I turned off the scooter and turned it back on, still turtle speed. I turned it off again, check to make sure that the gear knob was engaged, it was so I turned it on again; still turtle speed. I had to make it to the car so I just had to continue at the 'turtle speed' but a couple of moments later it kicked into Rabbit Speed again all by itself. I packed it back into the car. This was on a Saturday so I waited until Monday and called the manufacturer to report the issue. I was told that the motor probably just over-heated but if it happened again, take note of the flashing light patterns (that would tell them the issue). I took it for a ride around my neighborhood that night. Only about 5 minutes into the ride it starting doing the 'turtle' thing again and flashing red lights. I took note of the pattern (first it was 2 flashes followed by 3 flashes, then it was 1 flash followed by 3 flashes). I called the next morning to report this issue as I had been instructed. The technician at that point said he would have to check on the pattern and get back to me. That afternoon I did not get a callback, instead, I got an email from a person saying that I must have assembled it incorrectly and wanted me to watch a video on assembling their scooter. I watched the video and it was exactly how we had assembled the scooter. I called them back and told them we were doing just what the video had shown. I was then instructed to take pictures and a video of what I was doing. I took pictures of both sets of connectors, then a short video showing us assembling the scooter after taking it apart. Just the one of us was not able to insert the pin alone so I had to put the camera down to help put the pin in. I was then told that we must have damaged it when we put it together and they offered to repair it for only $65. I told them since the scooter was only 10 days old, I would rather return it as I felt that I could no longer rely on this scooter to get me to and from any destination. This scooter was OBVIOUSLY a 'Lemon' but the manufacturer refuses to admit that. They expected me to then pay $120 to send the scooter back to them. I am still waiting for Amazon on an A-Z Open Claim, I was advised not to send the scooter back yet. I will Update this post as I find out more
I bought a "lemon"
July 13, 2016
I purchased it 6 months ago ,but suffered a hip fracture in Feb. so did not use the scooter til late April. I began having trouble with it and worked with the manufacturer shortly after about six trips. First it was a battery problem which was easily fixed, but it re-occurred several times. Then more problems. I would be two blocks from home and it would stop. I was unable to push it home myself which was very frustrating. Working with the manufacturer again was fruitless. This unit is a "Lemon" and the seller refuses to do anything about it. I am disgusted and frustrated. The product is an EVMiniRider 4 Wheel Travel Ev Rider
Greatly Disappointed
December 29, 2015
I can whisper louder than the horn. It only turns to the left ten degrees, and only two degrees to the right. I have to stand up and pick up the front end to maneuver around corners. I fully charged the battery and it barely made it over three miles. The instructions need to be rewritten with better photos,

Very Disappointed.
May 14, 2015
I bought this scooter, because I have a bad hip and some weeks are high pain weeks to walk. Bad choice. I love that it folds up so lovely and fits in the hatchback of my Nissan Versa. That it the only good thing about this scooter, unless you only use it on hard smooth floors. I go to the theme parks almost every weekend here in Florida. The charge on it only holds for 4 hours. That is only about 3-4 miles. I have asked Top Mobility about this and they cannot do anything about it. I was told I am not slamming the battery in the compartment hard enough. Then they said the bumps in the road loosen the battery box and I would need to stop and reslam the battery box back down. Sorry, not going to stop every few feet and reslam the battery.Indoors on smooth hard floors, you will probably be able to get the full charge out of the scooter. Not so if you are going to use it on pavement, sidewalks or theme parks. Use caution when purchasing this scooter, and the company that you purchase through. Top mobility has only a 10 day return window, but the scooter must be in the original box and never used. How are you to know it if works if you cannot use it.
