great saw, could be a bit more powerful but for the price I cant complain. I put a wood blade on it occasionally (make sure to clean afterwards or enjoy a smokey suprise) and it works great with that as well.

This cop saw is a lot more powerful than my old Harbor Freight Tools one, and is easy to use. On thing if I could change on it is a lock on the handle, so the button to keep the saw going could be engaged. But, for the price, and power, compromise on this is alright. The blade that came with it cuts through most things great, so there is very little to complain about it.

This Chop Saw is great for the price. I cut a large amount of high-carbon spring steel and the saw never seemed to have trouble. From experience with past chop saws, I do stop every few minutes to let it cool off. The 14-inch cutoff wheel that comes with it is pretty good quality too.

Great little saw. I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked this saw, and even happier when I first used it. very nice, an orangeversion of the yellow one at half the price. mediocre blade, but they all come with lousy blades no matter what you buy. Cut a bunch of 1 1/2 inch 1/8 wall square tubing without any trouble.Looking forward o using it some more. For the money it's a steal.

I love these blades. 1 of them has lasted me almost 2 years of cutting steel, stainless and titanium regularly.

I've used this saw on several projects and it does a pretty good job cutting tube. I wanted to see how much it could handle so I put it up against some 1/4" plate and that proved to be past its limit. Other than that, I've been pleased with the saw.

Does what I bought it ,to cut metal ,it has a miter gauge to cut angle very good for the money.

saw worked very well but it had one of the rubber feet missing from the saw base.

Great for a homeowner shop. already made a few cuts in 2" angle iron with a 1/8" thickness and some 1/4" wall 2" square tube. Get some extra cutting wheels if making several cuts in thicker metal. This was a great upgrade from cutting in a vise with a reciprocating saw.

The saw works just fine, it would be better with a T handle grip and a quick release to adjust the material angle, but for being the cheapest name brand chop saw I could fine it performs adequately. It did come with a blade.

Don't over look B&D anymore! I probably wouldn't have bought this if it hadn't been for having good luck with another B&D product recently. I am not a professional and only do metalworking as a hobby, but I do use this almost everyday and haven't had any problems with it. The only negative is that the clamp is only adjustable in one direction and and each time you move it you need to un-tighten the bolt, adjust it, then re-tighten the bolt. It can get a little annoying when you have a lot of stock to cut at different angles. It would've been nice if it had something like a spring loaded quick adjustment nob or something, but overall I am very happy with this saw.P.S. The cut off blade it comes with is a little cheap and will slightly bend if you cut to fast, causing an uneven cut. I replaced it with a stiffer DeWalt blade and it works better now.

They cut well, but flex easily making cuts a little wonky at times, but that probably has a lot to do with the thickness.

Replacement for an old wheel. Haven't used it yet. Looks like the old one (most all new products are shadows of their former selves), so it's probably okay.

Just got it in and noticed one of the rubber feet for the base was missing. It's not worth sending the whole thing back, but would be nice to have a stable base that I won't have to put a shim under.

Tried to cut a 2" square piece of steel at a 45 degree angle. Took over an hour to finally cut all the way through. Not enough horse power to cut quickly. Applying a little more pressure doesn't work either, it just trips my circuit breaker. Should of spend the extra money and bought a DeWalt.

I got one with rough patch witch made it unsafe to use. Won't get this again just because QC didn't catch it.

Came warped, could not use.

After only a few cuts, it becomes useless. Creates sparks, but no cutting. A total waste of money.

This thing blew up on me. Only used a handful of times.. been using a generic brand since then, no problems.THIS COULD HAVE REALLY DONE SOME DAMAGE IF IT HIT ME
