| Great price for Five Star qualityAugust 15, 2017 This was a very good deal on Five Star notebooks. I learned a long time ago to NEVER get the cheap spirals for my kids...they will not last and then you just end up spending more money replacing them. Spending a little more upfront for quality is a better value. We have always been a fan of the Five Star products, and these spirals last much longer than any other brand we have ever tried. This was a great deal, better than what I can find in a brick and mortar store. Plus, so easy to buy online! They shipped well with no damage. And when I say sturdy, I mean I have a teenage middle school boy who lugs them around in his book bag everyday and digs past them constantly while looking for his phone. I feel guilty admitting I abused these notebooks, but they held up with covers, spiral spine, and pockets intact (Though, I did preemptively tape the sides and bottoms of the pockets with basic office tape).Only downside was the last section of paper in the back has noticeably more paper than the previous two sections, instead of even distribution. The package came shrink-wrapped, so its nothing I could have done myself. The pages are perforated and can be torn off very easily.
