Halls is one of the most effective cough drops and buying them by the bag of 200 individually wrapped drops is an exceptional buy not only for the price but for the cough drop itself.This is a suppressant and not just a cough drop. help stop tickles in the throat, a sudden coughing spell out of nowhere (always at an inopportune time). The Halls helps with sore and dry throats also. I have friends and family with asthma and emphysema and always keep these on hand for them, and in my purse just in case. The Mentho-lyptus helps clear the nasal passages. As it says on the package you can give it to children over five but check with doctor for kids under five.As always good prices here on amazon and always speedy shipping.

Halls cherry cough drops are my favorite. I keep them on hand in the freezer so I do not run out. They work for sore throats as well as a tickle in your throat which prompts a coughing spell.

Can't beat a 200 count quantity and the Cherry menthol taste is quite nice. Most importantly these do provide a very satisfactory temporary relief of throat roughness, soarness and coughing. An excellent price point as well for this quantity packaging.

I have allergies and along with the sniffles comes a tickley throat. These lightly cherry flavored drops taste good and removes the tickle. I should stash a few in different places so I have them when needed.It gives you a slight cherry breath but that's not bad.The big bad is resealable.Good item...

This cough medicine is the best was concern about the taste after reading other reviews, but I was surprise the taste didn't bother me.Had a bout of bronchitis and symptoms of asthma and with out going on a codeine cough med this relieved my cough.I really don't like taking codeine it gives me a wicked headache.

It is SHOCKING how good this stuff works; and how fast. I wasn't expecting much when I bought it but it works Way better than cheritussin & other prescription syrups for me.One thing however, the effects due wearoff right around the 4 hour mark.

Been using Creomulsion for years. Have yet to find a better cough suppressant.My wife says it tastes like kerosene (don't know where she is drinking kerosene) and smells like tar but uses it as the only syrup she has found that will suppress her coughs.

t's hard to say that you "love" a cough syrup, but I guess I do. For a scratchy cough it's the most soothing thing I've ever tried. And I'm over 50, so you can trust me on this one. And it doesn't taste bad. older formulas might have, but this doesn't. It quiets my cough, and lets my wife sleep. That's a good thing. It doesn't taste bad. (Robitussin cf is absolutely horrible) And it works great! I'm glad Amazon carries it. If I have a cough due to mucus, I'll take a Kirkland mucus relief chest pill. (Less than $12.00 for 200 pills on Amazon instead of Mucinex. same pill, same number, color etc.) But if it's fir any other cough, then Creomulsion is my goto thing. Soooo soooothing... Aaahhhh... Relief!

I've had a nagging, dry cough for a week. Tried Mucinex, Robitussin, and Nyquil & nothing would make a dent in this cough (which was keeping me up all night). Bought this off of Amazon because of the reviews. This stuff works wonders. I would say it reduced my coughing by 90%. It did not cause drowsiness so you can take it during the daytime. The biggest drawback is the smell & taste. Yes, it tastes awful, but it gets the job done! I will always have this stocked in my medicine cabinet as I am prone to getting bronchitis a couple of times a year.

I rarely get sick - but then got a cold with cough and had no cough medicine in the house. Went to the internet to find 'the best cough medicine' I found Creomulsion - ranked #1. Never heard of it. Before buying this product, I read many of the reviews here with great amusement. Seriously? Tastes like demon spit? Well... just had to try it.Taste: Yep, tastes like medicine and not the candy-fied stuff either.Smell: Do not smell it first. Not helpful. Just toss back the dose and get the results.Effectiveness: Yep. IT WORKS and works much better than anything you can buy off the shelf at your local pharmacy. If your baseline health is quite poor, it might not serve you as well. But then neither will anything else you can get without a prescription.Here is a suggestion for those who find it hard to get past the taste. The instructions say the adult dose is three teaspoons. Well, that is one tablespoon. Toss it back as one tablespoon, not three teaspoons. And helps to remember this: Philippians 4:13I especially like the fact that it contains no alcohol.

these are wonderful cough suppressants. i have found the flavor to be inconstant with some i have purchased in the past, some having a very nice cherry flavor, and some having no flavor at all. i contacted the manufacturer and they offered to reimburse me in coupons or check.overall great product and great customer service from manufacturer.

If the answer to this question is yes, than this is probably a smart purchase. They are as advertised, my order came in the advertised time, and the product themselves are of the expected quality.

It tastes just like the original old school product. But the effectiveness to get rid of my cough was not there.

Purchased this and some expensive cough drops on Amazon and it got rid of my husbands persistent cough he had for about 3 weeks. Good find. Will keep it in the medicine cabinet for unexpected illnesses.

tastes awful - but you do get used to it, kind of. It does help though! Have had a harsh cough for a while now as a side effect of blood pressure medication and this stuff worked better than anything else that I tried.

Tastes just like it did when I was a kid.... nice to be able to find it online, but wish I could order it in single bottles instead of three at a time. I'll never use this much cough syrup in three years before it expires. So I decided to give the extra bottles away as gifts for Christmas!! LOL This is the BEST cough syrup ever made!!!

This stuff tastes so bad that you might never cough again. You might not breath again, either. Good luck, but keep your finger on speed dial 911 just in case.

I order Creomulsion every year because it works. I am unable to find it in any local store, but Amazon has a great price and fast delivery. I often say, the reason it works is because it taste so bad you are afraid you may have to take another dose! But, it really dose stop the cough and ease the scratchy throat. Hold your nose and swallow this thick emulsion down. You will feel better. Looses one star be ause of taste.

I think lemon honey halls is better this.

They easily melt with the heat of the car. Can't take them in the car unless you put them in a plastic bag.

It works about as well as other brands, but taste is not good at all. Swallow it as fast as you can.ugh!

The product does work but I just couldn't stand the taste and had to get rid of most of it. I can stand the taste of most things, I can take straight vinegar, I love cabbage and Brussels sprouts, but this, this tasted like the liquid version of smoky burnt cinders. I had to wash my mouth out with minty mouthwash and I was still gagging from the taste. If you can stand the taste it does work.

I had to order this online as I couldn't find it in any of the stores where I live. I had used this in the past and had given the child formula to our daughter, now in her mid 40s, for her coughs and always loved its calming affect and help in loosening up her chesty cough. However, after I received this I took it and noticed my cough was only somewhat relieved. Upon contacting my pharmacist to check on any interactions with an otc allergy medicine I was going to take and asked why we couldn't get it at the store anymore. He said that the formula had been changed slightly and was not as strong as before and people didn't use it as much since then and the store quit stocking it. I believe that is true as none of the stores in our areas have it. I use this for my cough and still get only moderate relief and will use it as needed until gone but in the future I will most likely buy an otc cough syrup. The pharmacist recommended another product if I didn't want to use creomulsion and I did purchase it to compare and the one he suggests does work better in controlling my cough but it is only for a cough. Creomulsion still breaks up the chesty cough even with this new formula so I will use it. Really disappointed in finding it didn't work quite good as in the past.

Ok I was looking for a cough medicine that did not have alcohol as it was for a young person. He was coughing his head off and managed to get this down but said it tasted nasty. It did work but next time may try to play with the flavor, you know a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down, as Mary Poppins would say!

A good cough drop at a somewhat decent price, but I'm not too much of a fan of the flavor. It works to clear my throat so, but I prefer more of the flavor of the weaker but tastier Ricola. I've tried the other flavor but I've gotten sick of them pretty quickly.If you like the flavor, this is a good purchase for you. But halls... none of them cater to my liking.

One star = I hated it. This is not emotional love or hate, the question being is the product effective or does it work. I did not expect a miracle cure like the ones I have read about in the reviews. I did expect a reduction in coughing over a reasonable period of time. Neither happened. For me a resounding NO. I read the wonderful reviews for this product prior to ordering and have to wonder who writes these and why such wonderful results. I have read many times now of falsified recommendations being posted by firms that are contracted to do such a thing. Is this the case, I do not know and can not speculate but in fact know the product was totally ineffective for me. The taste nor the smell was that bad and it sure did not curtail coughing. I now have added it to the other over the counter worthless products that clog my medicine cabinet. Recommend do not purchase.

just ok , little or no relief from the cough , save your money

I was prepared to deal with the nasty taste-- if this stuff outperformed several of the others I've tried. Sadly, it did not. It's like drinking coal tar. However, in my Ashe shipment I rec'd Robitussin Long-acting gel caps. Same ingredient, encapsulated, no taste and I think they perform better. 'Nuff said.
