Very soothing and tasty

My husband is a Diabetic and he has to have one of these every night as he goes to bed to help keep his throat moist.

The cough drops are not individually wrapped, but they're still tasty, sugar free, and they work!

I like the fact that you don't have to mess with a paper wrapper.

I loved the size and taste of the drop.The container is a nice fit, not too big or too small. The price is also very good.

Nice size and packaging.Save a lot of time not having to unwrap them find a place to dispose of wrappers.Very good taste but they open your head.

I'm "allergic" to flower pollen, smoke, perfume and a number of other things. And I am the musician in a Catholic Church, with flowers, incense, people who wear perfume . . . . you name it! Though I take two medications, I still often have a post-nasal drip when in that environment for hours. These Halls Sugar-Free Cough Drops control that drip and enable me to continue to sing. They work for me better than anything I have found to keep sinuses clear and control the cough.

This is my favorite product from Halls. The mint flavor is not overpowering and the citrus is delicious, but not too sour to burn my stomach, so if I have allergies and I need to pop these often, I do not have a bad side effect as I do with other cough drops.

I've an esophagus issue, and rely upon HALLs to maintain a soothing, healthy feeling within my throat, dissipate early signs of soreness, and control coughs before they gain an "anchor", especially as we often sing at karaoke and piano bar venues. To find this flavor in a super quantity purchase size was an added bonus.

This flavor of Hall's had been hard to find lately at our supermarket and CVS. It's nice to have a large bag that lasts us a few weeks. It's also cheaper than buying 7 bags of 25 cough drops (which would contain 175 cough drops).

I use this product because I have dry mouth and I want a sugarless cough drop so I don't get cavities in my teeth. It is the best product I have ever found to correct dry mouth. I have never used it for a cough. Incidentally, it tastes good too.

I've used Hall's Honey Lemon Mentholyptus cough drops for years. When I bought these I didn't realize I was buying the sugar free. At first I was concerned because of the side effect the sugar alcohols can have on the digestive tract. However, I've experienced no such problems and the drops work exactly the same as the sugared variety.

good product at a good price

I love this container for my headboard and desk. Its much more convenient than unwrapping the drops and throwing away the little scraps. I have had no problems with sticking or clumping.

These cough drops are good tasting. I am also happy that they are sugar free. I have a dry mouth & they help my mouth not be so very dry. A great value for the price.

Nice size

I use a CPap machine at night. Sometimes I get a dry mouth, so I put a Halls sugar-free cough drop between my tongue and the roof of my mouth and it takes care of the problem.

Very good at relieving cough or sore throat, but read the caution in small letters on back of bag about laxative effect if you use too many!

Awesome huge bag. I have such a hard time finding anything but the small bags of these at any of the local stores. I was in awe at the size of this bag when it arrived. I sleep with a CPAP and suffer from a dry mouth due to medications. I use several of these every night.

i have purchased this item locally for several years.. They are typically found in Super Markets and Drugstores. Unfortunately, they disappear from the shelves very fast. Buying through Amazon.com is not a way to save money, but in my case has been ableto find them and ship them to me in boxes of 12 bags. Not cost effective, but it works.

Not what I expected. Not wrapped so can't put in pants pocket. Update: I have grown to like the very much. With my year around allergies they come in very handy for that tickle in my throat that leads to a cough. I put a couple in my pocket for quick use. Pocket is not the problem I expected.

Good, but like the lemon-mint flavor (Ricola) better

Strong, mediciney taste - the honey and lemon do not come through, but they work, so that's the point, right?

These taste good but they don't have a lot of menthol in them and don't work very well.

Just another cough drop

Rather over priced brand. Generic brands are also expensive...not as much as Halls. Amazon should offer both options. The drops are A LOT SMALLER in size? Which is strange as they are sugar-free & awfully expensive.

Drops are smaller than I expected...pretty pricey for what you get.

These are smaller that the ones in the bags. I was surprised and disappointed about that. I won't be ordering more.

I tried these as soon as they got here. I've been using the cherry halls you can find at pretty much every store and thought I'd try a different flavor with no sugar for fewer calories. They tasted great, not only in the sweetness department but also in the flavor department, so I ate about ten of them. BAD IDEA. I've been squirting brow goopy water from the wrong hole all day long and I've gone to the bathroom at least ten times today. It's the gummy bears all over again..If you eat Halls like they're candy then their sugar-free version DEFINITELY isn't for you unless you want to go to the bathroom every half hour. You'll probably be fine if you eat 1-3 every hour or more, but if you eat half an ordinary-sized bag a day of these then you're going to have a bad time.

I prefer buying the value package with ~70 drops per bag.........

I was excited to see that I could get sugar free Halls drops on Amazon. The cost was, in my mind fair. However, when I got to shop with a friend of mine at BJ's, I saw the same product for 1/2 the price it was on Amazon! Needless to say, it's a wrap. $6.99 at BJ's, and Costco.

Not worth the price

These do not taste like lemon, or honey.

Ugh! Whatever it is, it's NOT the original Halls. Totally different taste; totally horrible aftertaste. AVOID!

BE WARNED! Whatever they are using as a sugar substitute causes a wicked case of gas/diarrhea. As if a really persistent cough isn't bad enough! Imagine every single cough stands between you and $&!#-ing in your pants. The FEAR alone is how this product is designed to suppress your coughing. Pass on the sugar-free version, my friends.

Make sure you are sick enough that you don't plan on leaving your house if you are going to use these. I ate 5 or 6 in an hour hoping that they would eventually help my sore throat. Not only did they offer practically no relief for my sore throat but they also left me with a case of explosive diarrhea so powerful that the toilet was unable to contain the splashing feces filled water. I had not eaten breakfast yet so I know that this was not a food born illness. I threw out the rest. Never again.

I have an tough stomach and never have issues with artificial sweeteners, food allergies or otherwise but these completely tore up my tummy. They work great as a cough suppressant but should have a big warning label (rather than the tiny 'may have laxative effect') that severe gas and general gastro rumbling, pain and digestion issues may result from mild use. I took about 5 over the course of the 1st day I bought them and then thought my cold must be turning into a flu that impacts the belly. Next day I took a couple more over the course of a few hours and was in misery. The smell and frequency of the gas was horrible, and it felt like there was a thunderstorm in my belly. I did an Internet search suspecting it might be these cough drops since it was the only change I had made in my diet and, sure enough, others have the same complaint. It absolutely isn't worth the cough relief to deal with the stomach issues. I threw out the rest of the bag. I mentioned to a friend and she had the same experience and will never buy these again either. (They really should be sold as a gag gift for making people fart.)
