Since Vicks quit making Vapo-Cream, this is a great alternative. I like it because it isn't greasy like the ointments like VapoRub. Spread a little on your sinus area and/or chest and get into a warm shower for instant relief with cough and cold symptoms.

I finally found it! My replacement for the old Vick's greaseless vapor rub! Other reviews state the same, which is why I bought this product and I couldn't be happier!I have tried other products since Vick's stopped making their greaseless formula, but Dr. Sheffield's is the best! Finally after many years of searching I have found the HOLY GRAIL to the next best thing to "Vick's Vaporub Greaseless Cream." Can I say, I LOVE YOU AMAZON! There is no difference. I still had my old bottle of Vick's and compared the two. They are exactly the same. Nothing works quite like this. Sorry Proctor & Gamble, you just lost out. A shame really. Oh well, My suffering in silence days while sick are officially over. Thank You.

I'd give this 10 stars if I had the choice. I found this when I was looking for Vicks cream. I found out Vicks no longer makes theirs. I love this much better! Only on thing, the tubes are small. So happy I found this product!

These are very similar to the "Vicks" brand and that company quit making the lotion. I searched and searched for them and when I found these I gave them a try and they are the exact same product. Thank you for offering these. Highly recommended.

I was so unhappy to hear that Vicks did away with the cream, that has been all I used, probably like most when I get a cold I rub the stuff all over and snuggle down into my blanket. The cream would absorb into your skin and you would never get that greasy feeling. I remember the old days rubbing down and turning into a grease ball with clothes sticking and getting greasy hair. Ick. So my search was on for a replacement that I thought was not there, till I found Dr. Sheffields greaseless vapor, Just like vicks, exactly, I can't tell the difference, smaller tube where vicks was bigger, but looked and found 4 tubes for a little over $10 for 4 oz. I think I paid $6 for my last vicks tube. Yes a bit pricy but if you bath in it like I do, worth every penny.

It's not Vicks but since Vicks greaseless is no longer available this will do and I'm glad to have it. Active ingredients are the same.

Good product for the price. Does the job! Just happen to like the smell of Vicks a bit better.

The scent is close to Vicks Vapo Cream. My only issue with this product is it doesn't rub on clear. It leaves blotches of white spots on my chest even when using a small amount. I love it other than that.

Although I do like this product, it's not as potent as Vick's brand cream was. I also don't think the effects last as long as Vick's did. But since that isn't available anymore, this is a pretty good substitute.

I've been hoping against hope that Vick's would bring their VapoRub Greaseless Cream back on the market. I finally got tired of waiting and looked around for a viable alternative. The price for the 4 pack of Dr Sheffield's is great. I feel as if there's less menthol vs the Vick's, or perhaps the formulation overall just isn't as strong as the VapoRub. For the price and ease of application, it's still a great product, and a really good alternative to Vick's former product.

this is the only and closest to the old Vicks cream, don't need it much but when you do it is a blessing. It is not as strong as the vicks was thus the 4 instead of 5 and it wears off quicker but still would never be without it
