It is very easy to use and my daughter and I love it. Recommend for everyone!
Good Quality!

I do not use a blender often, but when I do this is probably the very best for the money!
A good choice

Good quality and well powered.
Works good!
July 26, 2016
My daughter has stomach issues and we started blending and preparing her formula for the next day, the night before. This blender has worked great for us. She hasn't been spitting up as much. I haven't used all of the settings yet, but compared to my last blender, I am impressed. It also comes with different recipes you can make with it so that is cool also. I'm satisfied.
Getting more than you pay for
October 20, 2013
I know what you're expecting from this blender, given the price. Don't be too quick to judge! While this blender is not one of those several-hundred-dollar, fancy-shmancy, pulverize your keys and silverware blenders, it can make some amazing things for you at home! There are two different pulse settings, making chopping more evenly a breeze. The milkshake button makes a smooth shake! Ice crushing is no challenge. No burning motor smells.Super easy clean-up with a self-cleaning button! For the price, this blender really has it all!I love it!
Love It!

So far I've made frozen white russians, milk shakes, frappacinos, lasagna sauce and mole sauce. This blender performs GREAT with everything. Chops ice, blends, purees, I really don't know what else anyone wants from a blender. It is not loud, my old blender was at least three times louder. It has plenty of power. It is a beautiful appliance to the eye as well. The only thing I had trouble with was the lid. I had a problem taking the lid off the first few times I used it, but it loosened up slightly with use and is now easier to take off. I guess it's a good thing to have a snug fitting lid on a blender anyway. Yeah, I think this blender is well worth the $30 I paid.

Good product so far
April 30, 2017
Good product so far. I've had it for around 6 months. No complaints. I mainly bought it for making smoothies and shakes and the wide bottom works great for ice and ice cream.
Makes a great smoothie!
January 15, 2017
This blender is one of the best bargains out there. Crushes ice, frozen fruit, frozen kale/spinach into a smooth and delicious drink. No ice chunks to ruin your day as you're sipping your smoothie through your straw. Yes, you should keep a spoon close by to mix your frozen stuff so the blades can get ahold of them (turn the blender off before you do this!). It's no Vitamix, but at less than a 1/10th the price, it's a huge bargain. Oh, and the carafe and lid are dishwasher safe!

For the price this is a fantastic blender. It blends everything very fine (if you let it run long enough) but can leave it chunky if that's what you're going for. I've made sauces, hummus, smoothies, and dips with it. The only complaint I have is that, like many blenders I've used, it can have trouble initially getting everything to go down and mix. And there aren't holes in the lid large enough to fit a spoon to push things down, so I often have to take off the lid to push things down (which can be dangerously messy). One it gets going though, it has no trouble blending.

Everyman's blender at a great price point - don't expect nothing too fancy from it. It does it's job, and it does it just fine. The buttons are a bit wobbly, but that's not a major concern, as they work just fine. I use the device every now and then to make smoothies and crush ice, but the blender does not function that well as an ice crusher (probably due to the design of the blades).
works well enough
February 9, 2014
not nearly as powerful as I'd hoped, but does the job. My last ancient blender managed to crush up the tiny seeds in blackberries, but this one can't and I guess I've gotten a little spoiled. Use it mostly for morning smoothies with ice, and greens like kale or spinach and frozen fruit. Found I need to quick-blanch the kale to make the blender more user friendly. Hope it holds up because it's gonna get a lot of work
Great for Green Smoothies & More
November 26, 2013
I wanted to eat healthier and lose some weight...doesn't everybody? I wanted to try green smoothies. I read hundreds of reviews and worried if this one would not do the greens. I bought it. It got decent reviews and was in my price range. I made a Peach Green Smoothie using frozen peaches and spinach. Worked Great. The only thing it didn't do well with was raspberries & blueberries. They tended to get stuck in the bottom. So you need to stir them up to the top. No biggie!I bought some fresh kale and collards to add variety to the smoothies. I added them at the end and it took them a while to blend into the smoothie. I will not drink anything that isn't well blended but the kale passed the test. It failed the taste test. Too green and sharp tasting. Maybe a different kind of kale? I would recommend it.

Lasted 10 months
September 28, 2017
Has worked great for 10 months there are no replacement parts available for this item. The collar at the base of the jar is the weak spot and cannot be replaced. I hate to replace the whole blender because of a $2 replacement part.
It's okay
April 22, 2017
Works okay for some stuff, but isn't what I would call a great blender.
Loved it till.....
September 27, 2016
Loved this blender! Worked so well for smoothies I ordered two. One for me and one for my daughter. Now, after only a few months of very light use, the bottom of the glass container is chipped. I'm scared to use it but the warranty says no coverage on glass. I guess you do get what you pay for. Really worked well, except for the chipped glass.
Not a "Quality" Blender
April 1, 2016
To be fair, I gave it 3 stars because It does actually work. However don't expect it to work quickly or without extra prep. I bought this blender to replace my 10 year old blender (maybe even older than that since it was my mother-in-law's blender). Anyway, with my old blender (R.I.P) I could toss in cubes of fruit/veggies, ice, yogurt all at the same time and get a smooth blend in less than 2 minutes, every time! This Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher...? It will not blend at all UNLESS you cut the fruit/veggies very VERY small. And even after that, you have to keep stopping the blender and stiring the fruit to make sure its getting its chance in the chooper. It takes like 10 minites to finally get a smooth "sound" of blending. And even after all that hard work, you're still left with pieces of fruit in your smoothie! So EXHAUSTING!! Next time, I will kick out the extra bucks and buy a more expensive blender because CLEARLY, there is a difference.
Good
February 3, 2016
It's fine but from the reviews I thought it would be better than the Proctor Silex I already had but was leaking a little. It's about the same for making smoothies and noise level. Ice cubes and big frozen strawberries are a little bit of a challenge for it just like my old one. But at least it was cheap and it's not leaking and is prettier. :) Good for a basic blender. The lid is not an issue as other reviewers stated. The size is nice.
Decent for the price
February 14, 2014
I bought this hoping it would be a step above the cheap big-box store blender which finally died after a few years. Turns out it's pretty much the same. The base feels like cheap plastic. The "stainless steel" elements are cheaply applied and the area behind the buttons is just a sticker. The buttons rattle and there is no dedicated "off" button, both of the pulse buttons function as off buttons. Aesthetics and interface aside, it works about as well as other cheap blenders. I'm not convinced of the "wave-action system", as it seems that any mixture that is even slightly too thick will just develop a pocket of air at the blades which will just spin freely.

Nice blender, while it worked
June 19, 2017
Nice blender, while it worked, but collar broke (the bottom plastic piece of the jar that fits into the blender) and there is no replacement part available, in fact it looks like they don't make this blender anymore. I should have stuck with Oster for my appliances.

January 27, 2017
Does not blend/crush ice as well as you would expect it to, and it really doesnt blend chilies or peppers well so I cant really make salsa. I have to take the extra step in cutting each chili or pepper into small bits but then it still gets a little stuck and chunky. I would suggest getting a Food Processor if you want to make Margaritas or Salsa.
Its good just a simple solid blender
May 28, 2015
Update:Well, my sister pretty much killed it by not making sure the pitcher was fully seated before pressing blend. The plastic teeth on the blender motor (part that connects to blade gear on bottom of pitcher) is almost completely worn (teeth are worn).Still sorta " works".Might try and 3D print a replacement chuck for fun because the blender is so cheap 29$.......If they made that part out of metal......this thing would last forever.------------------Its good just a simple solid blender.Easy to clean, i just dump soap and water in there and let it blend / rinse itself.
Bought it to make Smoothies
March 12, 2014
Like most people, I've always had a blender. My last one I burned out trying to grind up peppers that had not re hydrated enough, but what I usually used it for was smoothies, like 99% of the time. This blender just does not do the job. Previous blenders I've owned, you just threw the ingredients in and started it up and it blended them. This blender needs to be started nd stopped so you can push the mixture down to get the blades to actually blend the ingredients. Can't comment on any other features since to date I've only used it for smoothies.
Burned out with first use
November 25, 2013
It looked great when I took it out of the box. I like that the lid locks. But it burned out and got super hot the very first time I used it. I had to replace it with a new one.

This one is a real bad blender. After 20-25 uses
July 9, 2017
This one is a real bad blender. After 20-25 uses, the jar got stuck to the blender. Every time I try to get it unlocked, it would get stuck again. Then the motor suddenly became very noisy which was unbearable. I would never buy this again and I don't recommend this to anyone to buy either. Unfortunately my return window was over and I simple had to trash it.

Doesnt blend even strawberries very unsatisfied! Weird blender. I will throw it
Great at first, but then not so much.
September 4, 2016
First few weeks were great. Blended well, no problems. We do use the blender daily for smoothies, using almond milk, fresh spinach and berries, and occasionally frozen or thawed fruit. Two months in we have whole blueberries or blackberries that never get blended. The spinach is more like roughly chopped. But come on! Whole pieces of fruit or berries not even being blended? That's ridiculous. This blender is going in the trash. Very disappointed in how quickly it went downhill.
Barely had this a month and it leaks like a sieve
July 11, 2016
Barely had this a month and it leaks like a sieve. Completely useless to me when I want to make a quick smoothie to take on the way to work when I can't just rinse out the pitcher but need to break out cleaning spray so I don't have dairy lingering on the base and my counter.
The "wave" blade shape that allows the fluids to circulate better also makes it horrible at initially blending stuff
June 3, 2015
blender does not "blend" well. The "wave" blade shape that allows the fluids to circulate better also makes it horrible at initially blending stuff. You have to push ingredients down in order to get it going. Replaced it with a Ninja. Couldn't be happier with that decision.
Worst Blender I've Ever Owned
March 23, 2015
Thought my old blender was bad... This is hands down the worst blender I've ever owned! Jar and blade mechanism don't seal, so everything leaks out. If I didn't wipe it off it would leak down into the motor. As far as actually blending the food, it performs horribly. I constantly have to take the lid off – which doesn't come off easily – and push the food down to the blades. That's what happens when you try to save money – guess I should have paid for a Ninja.
