It's a great learning book for my nine-year-old. All aspects of reading music and hand placement, etc. are covered. Two page spread has left side for drums and right side for "bells". Easy to read and understand. I'm thinking about getting another...one for school & one for home.

Perfect as described

My son uses this book during his percussions class in school. The children are not allowed to bring the book home and I wanted him to practice. I was able to purchase the book and now he practices daily.

I paid less for this set of three than I would pay for one at my local hardware store. I would say I'd buy these again but I don't anticipate needing more rubber mallets any time soon.These were fantastic for tapping in the dowels on several pieces of ikea furniture. I use wood glue to help hold the dowels in so I usually need a hammer to pop them in - these were great because I didn't have to worry about marking up the furniture if I missed. The rubber is somewhat soft; I'd be a bit wary and test it before going to town on a very light colored piece of furniture or wood.One note, if you hit a dowel pin too close to the edge of the mallet it does chew it up a bit. Didn't affect functionality on my end, and it wasn't an issue once I made sure to strike with the center of the mallet but realistically if you kept doing it you could probably ruin the mallet.

Great value! The small one fits in my tent bag and is great for pounding in tent stakes. The medium one is the perfect size. Some workers borrowed the large one and used it all day - stood up to pretty hard usage with minimal damage (a few marks/chips). These three were the same price as just one at the local store. I would buy them again. Please note - when you first open them, they do have a strong rubber odor. I put them in the garage, it dissipated over time.

Wow are these things handy!!! I purchased this set from Amazon with the holiday spend $50 get $15 off of Tekton products. I've since used all three at different points of assembling furniture. They work great and do not mar the surface, however they will leave a little bit of a "skid" mark. If you're going to be using them on finished materials, I'd put a cloth or rag between the item and surface to avoid the rubber marks. I've had no indentations or scratches on the surfaces while using these. The handles are solid and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Used these to pound retaining wall block to be level. Really hammered on them and they didn't break, well worth the price to have rubber mallets around.

Great price on these. This set costs $3 more than a single 16 oz. mallet. Nice to have a variety of different weights and sizes. They all come in handy for all type of jobs.

This book was just what my son needed for his first band class in middle school.

I love these and use them at work very often. Feel like they won't hold up but as hard as I am on tools they have proved me wrong! Great price for 3 assorted hammers.

Seems like a good deal, three Tekton rubber mallets for under $10, figured why not? They seem fine for lighter duty use, handles seem a bit light or weak when compared to my old mallet but I think it will certainly do the trick for my needs. I cannot vouch how good they will handle use in a full time shop or for the long term, but for light duty use they seem to hold up fine. I'm ok with that.. especially for about $10.

I needed some rubber mallets to replace the ones in my workshop that had become brittle over time. These had a great price. The 3 different sizes come in handy for smaller or larger projects. My only complaint is the finish on the handles. They're finished to so smooth it is kinda hard to hold on to them. I'll fix that with a little sand paper or maybe some tape. No other complaints. They're hammers...they work like any other hammer. LOL.

Easy to make dents on the rubber mallet resulting in small flaking pieces.

I understand that these are very inexpensive, but I would, at least, expect the handles to smooth. They feel like they need to be sanded down. I'll probably take some 200 grit paper to them. Aside from that, the mallets are as described.

The product works great but it came with a greasy film on it, and a moldy bad smell, I don't know why so you will need to keep it in the bag that is covering it or wash it off with mild soap and water.

As many other reviewers mentioned these mallets SMELL when they come out of the package. Didn't bother me too much, but I didn't love the oily feeling on the rubber mallet. The small mallet is rather pointless. They're good for the price.

Good to use on paint cans regular hammer was denting the whole can, cans are being made cheaper just like everything else

I bought these 5 months ago. Though the heaviest one has worked fine, today I attempted to use the smallest one. I was only tapping a wire rack together so I went with the small one. I was tapping the shelves into place, I was not banging on the shelves, and it snapped off at the head.The largest ones I have used several times and it seems to be sturdy. I haven't used the middle one yet. Maybe it was just defective.

Three months later and this thing still is off gassing.

Was using the big mallet to lay some pavers and the wood broke right off. They are pretty new, so not impressed.

If you want a mallet for woodworking don't buy this set as it leaves black marks all over your woodworking. It also marks all other surface types that I tried it on.

I used it camping and on the first swing, the head flew off and we were without a mallet the next 4 days. UNBELIEVABLE

3 swings and the weakrubber mallet had huge chunk come out. who would of thought weak metal shelving would break a mallet so easy
