very good for the money. I wish I had known how often I would use the product, and would have bought the one with the larger reservoir.

I had another brand that worked for about 6 months and was more expensive. The design of this model is more durable and has a better "Cap" that allows you to pour the water in. The one I had before had issues with the cap that you remove to pour in water. It had to cool down before you could open the cap which is a good safety feature but when it wouldnt release after 2 days I ended up throwing it out. There was no way to unscrew the cap.

My husband and I used to own a pawn shop and had a commercial steam cleaner. I missed it so much I thought I'd invest in this because I have so much jewelry. Works great just like a commercial steamer!!

Extremely satisfied-my jewelry now looks wonderful. Easy to use, and al the accessories included are a big help! I find myself cleaning jewelry more often because the results are so good.

I bought this unit for my dental office to steam small items. Works well, consistent result. Good price, small footprint.

Wow. First time I tried using a cleaning solution with my ultrasonic cleaner. It made my gold, diamond and gemstone jewelry sparkle. I used to work in the jewelry biz years ago, so I take very good care of my jewelry and keep them clean. I've tried all the tricks I knew and somehow I could never get my diamond and gemstone jewelry to sparkle. 3 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner, some water with a capful of this cleaner was all it took. Again, WOW! The water actually turned slightly gray and there were teeny black bits floating around. Seriously, I keep my jewelry very clean, so I was thoroughly impressed. Makes gold jewelry shine, as well. 2 bottle price is awesome. This will last a really long time. Thanks!

Works really well in my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, keeps my wife's valuables cleaner longer, and gets them cleaner to begin with (instead of just using water). We use it with different colors of gold, and silver, and some stainless/faux with great success.

I bought a cleaning machine and the Blitz cleaner and this cleaner really works. You really don't have to use much. Maybe a cap full.

I used this with the Magnasonic jewelry cleaner and it worked like a charm! My wife has older diamond jewelry that just looked cloudy and dull. She believed thats how it was for years (since she got it for a bargain many years ago). I told her lets get the maganasonic and blitz just to try. Well, after 5 minutes of cleaning, a rinse and dry, the diamonds have some serious bling restored. They look amazing! I am very happy with the results on jewelry that basically has never been cleaned. I didn't think the magnasonic and blitz combo would actually do anything. I was wrong and very happy about it.

I use this in my little ultrasonic jewelry cleaner...best stuff ever!! Smells a little strange, but boy does it make your jewelry shine!! Definitely would purchase again. The best part is, you barely have to use any! A little bit goes a long way!

This is a great tool for cleaning my jewelry with my Gemoro steam cleaner. My steam cleaner came with some rather difficult to use tweezer type utensil but it doesn't hold my rings with the same security that this Steamostat holds them. I NEVER feel as if I am going to drop my rings when I am using the Steamostat. The rubber tips hold my rings securely and I can hold my rings (or other jewelry) far enough from the steamer so I don't get burned by the steam. I am sure this is the same type tool jewelers use to clean jewelry with their own steam cleaners. This makes it so easy and there is no worry of dropping your jewelry! Love it, wish I had found this sooner! (the price is awesome as well!!)

I bought these to go with my Gem Ora electronic jewelry steamer. It holds the jewelry perfectly and the rubber tips keep the jewelry secure without scratching the surface. It locks into place and is very secure. This is the best I have found at any price. I would not trust my precious jewelry to anything else!

I wonder how I ever used the tweezer style tongs to steam clean my jewelry when these were available! Fantastic. Very firm hold on any piece which makes it easy to blast the hot steam from every angle. Worth the price.

Works better than another machine I have that cleans jewelry. Still have to scrub a little to get things perfectly clean

Better than expected

I like this purchase. It's far less expensive than professional steam cleaners for jewelry. The negatives are that it's a bit clunky and you won't want to keep it out on your counter, and, you have to fiddle with it whenever you start it up. HOWEVER, I recommend it because you will be satisfied with the result. Otherwise, you can't get your jewelry this free of debris unless you go to a professional.

I have always loved how my diamond and gold wedding set looked after getting it cleaned and checked at the jewelery store. Now with a decent polishing cloth to shine up the gold, and my new jewelry steamer, I can get the same results at home. I soak the rings with some dish detergent and warm water, brush with a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) and then steam clean.The only reason that I can't give this product 5 stars is due to the sub-standard useless locking tweezers that are shipped with it. They don't hold rings well, the substance that covers the metal tips in order to protect your jewelry from scratches started coming off right away, and they are just flimsy and cheap. I ended up purchasing some (non-locking but who cares?) nice heavy 10-inch long tweezers with pvc coating to protect my jewelry and they work great.

My jewelry is cleaner than it has been with any other cleaner. It is easy to use. The down side is that it uses up the water in the well fairly quickly. Ok it you aren't cleaning a lot at one time. You also need the space for it. I would have liked a smaller unit.

It worked well and for about 12 months, which is the warranty length. I sent it back to get it replaced and Armando at ADFA helped get this done. I am happy with the product and the service; however, I did expect it to work longer than 12 months with occasional use. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer. If they did not replace it, I would have given them 1-star as opposed to 4-stars. Customer Service means everything in this type situation

I used this cleaner with my new Magnasonic ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. It worked pretty well cleaning jewelry, coins and silverware, noticeably better than water alone.

I use this cleaner with my Magnasonic Professional Ultrasonic Jewelry cleaning machine and it seems to do very well cleaning all of my jewelry.

Used today on lightly soiled rings and bracelets in my ultrasonic cleaner. Some white gold, some sterling silver, some diamonds, some CZ. Everything sparkled, and light tarnish was removed. Did need to do a final buff with tarnish remover cloth to bring the silver to its best, but if I was in a hurry, this would have sufficed. Don't know how it would work on heavily tarnished items.

Have gone through 2 bottles in past few months. Cleaning about a pound of silver jewelry which was some kind of dirty! I like the mix to be strong as my sonic cleaner is a bit on the weak side and times out at 8 minutes. I try not to overload the basket. When water is dirty, I will change with new solution and clean water and repeat for whatever still needs it. In steel shot in a tumbler it works quite well. I will add that sometimes - with both methods, I may add a drop of Blue Dawn detergent. Overkill maybe, but it works for me.

I bought these because I didn't realize that the cleaner I had bought did not come with solution. The shipper sent them right away, I had them in 2 days and used them that night. My wedding ring sparkled like I had taken it in and had it professionally cleaned. My silver also had years of grime and tarnish just stripped away. I really like this cleaner and I am glad that I stocked up on it since I will be making sure my jewels sparkle often!

I used it with the Sonic Wave CD-2800 Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. Works like detergent should. I followed the amounts suggested for a dirty watch, then mixed the solution lighter, using 3 cap fills instead of 4 for cleaning a pair of eye glasses.

The product itself is great. The only reason I'm taking one star is because I thought what I was ordering was TWO - as you can see in the photo, there are TWO tools, not one - and they are each different - one shows the locking mechanism and the other does not. Previous reviews also mentioned the 2nd "tweezer-type" item. I only received the locking steamostat. Perhaps I was supposed to receive both, but the item I was in need of was what arrived. Nothing in the listing mentions the 2nd item - only the photo - so I figured the mistake was mine for not clarifying before I ordered. 4 stars, overall.

Good product just not enough PSI for my ring to get clean. Ring has semi-closed backing and I needed more steam pressure to clean hard to get to places. I ordered the next model up from this one and it works really well.

It makes a bit of a mess with the steam, which condenses and leaves water everywhere. I also don't notice my jewelry any cleaner than what I can get with my ultrasonic cleaner, even if I use the ultrasonic first. Be sure to put something absorbent underneath it to absorb the water.

The Wife didn't really find it very useful for cleaning her rings, but it does produce steam to an acceptable level.

I would not recommend it, unless you like to clean your jewelry before you clean your jewelry. It is also taks up lots of space.

Not a deep cleaner, but gets the job done quickly if jewelry needs surface cleaning in ten seconds or less.

The cleanser is fine. The bottle shipped with no cap though. It was only the safety seal that kept it from leaking out.

It didn't really get my wife's jewelry too clean. It also seemed to be leaking from the top and the steam squirting everywhere got water all over the place. Too much work involved for something that costs $99

Oh, that's right, it's my new Gemoro Brilliant Spa, not quite doing what it's supposed to be doing.Yes, I watched the instructional video at you tube [...]Yes, I read all the instructions.Yes, I did NOT overfill the reservior, as I carefully measured the water with the included measuring cup.Yes, I let it heat up sufficiently, even waiting an extra 10 minutes after the Green go-ahead-and-steam light came on.Yes, I steamed in 1-2 second bursts.Did any of that matter? Not really. This poor steamer tried to steam, but it just sputtered water with a little steam attached. If you barely press on the steam button for a second, it does steam a little before the sputter. If you pressed the steam button all the way down to really get the 40 psi power of steam, it immediately sputters.Gee, why did it look like you could get full power in the you tube video?

My wife had this steamer on her Christmas list this year. After much anticipation we opened up..set it up...tried to clean her rings and was quickly dissapointed. What a let down. We tried for quite a while..The steam runs out quickly. It just doesn't get under the stone and clean very well. She was not impressed and plans to return the cleaner. Bummer.

Doesn't seem to clean any better than dish liquid, but even that doesn't really clean my platinum jewelry very well at all.

Save your money, i learned from a diamond dealer that the best thing to use is windex.I have used this cleaner in my ultra sonic cleaner it was just ok, but my diamond shines a lot more when cleaned with Windex.I place my ring in windex, i use a toothbrush for a little bit on all the sides then turn the ultrasonic cleaner on.I do 2 cycles and the ring comes out sparkling.

Got my diamonds pretty but it didn't get my other Stones clean

I used as directed in my ultrasonic cleaner - 4 capfuls diluted with water in the basket. Left it on for 5 minutes - nothing. I doubled the concentration and tried it again for 5 minutes - nothing. The earrings were silver, tarnished, but not badly. Blitz did not work on them. I finally got out the Tarn-X and it worked. Can't recommend Blitz..

I got these Stemostats for the purpose of being able to grab on securely to the top of a toenail spur as I attempted to extract an ingrown piece of nail. Disappointed that the tips of the Stemostat have no gripping power like I expected they would.

I always wanted one of these but have been extremely disappointed. There's hardly any pressure and the steam runs out quickly; I probably only get about 10 seconds of high-pressure steam. If I wait for it to 'reboot' and try it again, the results are worse and the steam pressure gets weaker and weaker with each attempt. I don't recommend this product

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. When she finally opened the box at the end of January, she noticed a rattling sound. When she opened the water compartment, the top was corroded and flaky, and there was water inside. It does not work. Someone used it, sent it back, and they resold it as 'new'. Now, they won't take it back because it is a few days beyond the return deadline. It is a damaged, used product that I paid over $100 for, which I apparently cannot get back.

Company doesnt care about the product. Item shoots a stream of boiling water everywhere. Doesnt actually steam anything. Avoid like the plague.

I am one of those people who always looks for the good in something even when the situation is obviously bad. Not here. I purchased this machine for my wife as a Christmas present with every expectation that there would be, as some reviews had stated, some moisture and water in the operation. When you are using steam you are using water - there is bound to be a little bit of leakage or residue created. Upon setting this machine up for the first time I carefully read the instructions even though the process was obviously simple. I placed the water in the reservoir being very careful not to overfill per the instructions. I waited for the green light to come on and pressed the button to clean my wife's rings. A puff of steam came weakly out. I waited and tried again - same result. I then looked on the counter and discovered water RUNNING along the surface. I unplugged the unit, waited for it to cool down and picked it up. Water ran out of both sides of the machine where the two primary pieces of the unit join together. I put more water in, waited the appropriate time for the water to heat and got the exact same result. I immediately packed it up and sent it back. Very disappointed! A complete waste of money and effort! I am now waiting to see how the refund process plays out. Buyer beware!!!

I purchased this item for my Mother for Christmas 2010. She did not have a chance to use it -due to illness- until late January/early February. It does NOT work. She contacted Lynns Essentials and was told to clean the jewelry FIRST before putting it into the cleaner! So, what did I pay $100 for? WHen she contacted the company, they were rude and would not accept a return as it was past the return policy date-even though the machine does not work. Even if they had just been nicer about it or tried to figure out what the problem was, I wouldn't be writing this. If you really want this item, Hammeker Schlammecker (not sure of spelling) has a similar one for same price and they are a much more reliable and courteous company to deal with.

Just opened the jewelry cleaner that came in the mail yesterday. Extremely irritated! The foil seal is on the bottle, but there is no cap, cover, lid or anything else to close the bottle once I peel the foil off! Seriously??!! What genius put this in the package is mailed it off? Just one more reason to use your brick and mortar stores I guess.

Could use some help here. I cannot get this stuff to even clear a single spoon or silver chain. I follow the directions and turned on the machine time after time. Nothing happens. Any suggestions of what I may be doing wrong?

Did not work in the ultra sonic cleaner. Bought a speed brite maching and gem sparkle cleaner instead. works alot better

So,when you buy a Jewelry cleaner, which I did, Amazon suggests that you purchase this Stemostat with it. This makes sense since a jewelry cleaning machine with steam would indicate that you can't hold the jewelry. What they don't tell you is that the jewelry cleaners come with this, so you don't need to buy it. Then, they say you can't return it! Total ripoff and very deceiving to encourage your customers to buy something they don't need. Shame on you!
