Great Product
January 3, 2017
The product and the design is awesome. I don't know what these people are talking about. Wait 15min for the heating chamber to heat up when you first turn it on and it puts out a ton of pressure for what it is. I'm buying another one.

Excellent for cleaning Eye glasses, compared to the usual non ultrasonic cleaning with Zeiss solution, cleaning cloth etc..
September 17, 2017
Finally, an eye glass cleaning solution, which actually works!I use this for eye glass cleaning. Remember to rinse glasses with hot water, after you clean with this.I use a full rimmed plastic frame. Such frames accumulate oils at the top inner corners of the lens/frame.Even if you use a good leans cleaning solution and cloth and try to clean manually, these oils cause streaks and the oils cannot be removed easily, except with this ultrasonic cleaner!I use the 280 sec setting, to clean during shower time. 180 sec setting might also work just fine - I have not tried. The results are perfect! All the oils are being dislodged.. Take the glasses out of the unit and wash with hot water.. Then use a microfibre cloth to clean. The result is amazing, as compared to the usual non ultrasonic cleaning with Zeiss solution, cleaning cloth etc..I am very annoyed with the 5 star reviews on Amazon, for which free product was given, which are supposedly unbiased! Unbiased? Sure!I can assure you that this review is completely unbiased. I bought this unit on amazon. In fact, I noticed that this seems identical in pictures to the Isonic D3800, which is cheaper than the Magnasonic. I am assuming that they both are made by same OEM.I have ordered the isonic d3800 also, for a 2nd room.. I will reconfirm that they are identical, after I have tried it. You might want to buy that instead and save money.Another comment which also proves that my review is unbiased: I am assuming that just about any ultrasonic cleaner you buy would be as good as this Magnasonic.. Just make sure it is large enough for eye glasses. I am not even sure that you need the isonic cleaning solution.. Dish washing detergent might work just fine but I have not yet tried the dish washing detergent. I used the isonic solution.
and the water using the Blitz Gem and jewelry cleaner was so dirty. I had to change the tub twice
May 31, 2017
Hello , I am so ready to write a review on this device . I received it today May 31, 2017 . I could not wait to use it . I had so much jewelry that was tarnished . I started cleaning it , and the water using the Blitz Gem and jewelry cleaner was so dirty . I had to change the tub twice. I still have not finished. I will have to do the rest on another day .. I want to say this device is AWESOME!! If there were more stars , I'd give it more. I want to say ,if you have pieces that are very tarnished ,you'll have to clean it longer..
Very pleased with this cleaner.
April 27, 2017
Works very well. I use mine primarily to clean electronic cigarette atomizers and parts. Hot water and two drops of dye/scent free dish soap..then a rinse cycle in plain water. Of course it works fantastically for jewelry, eye glasses etc. It also works extremely well for cleaning and recycling small bottles like eliquid bottles. Removes all the residue from whatever was in the bottle as well as the odor. Once you have one you'll wonder how you did without it.
Large tank and many timer settings.
April 19, 2017
After decades of use, my ultrasonic cleaner that I used for my eyeglasses and my wife's jewelry stopped working. The Magnasonic, twice as large and which cost about one-third than that of my original, smaller unit, works just as well. It is very easy to use and I like the fact that it has many timer settings, which my old cleaner did not offer. I have already recommended this unit to friends.
GREAT Purchase!
February 27, 2017
This is a GREAT jewelry cleaner! I bought the recommended jewelry cleaner fluid and cleaned my earrings and rings first. I was shocked at how dirty the water was - I hope I wasn't spreading diseases before the cleaning! :) I have another jewelry cleaner that did a good job, but it's nothing compared to the Magnasonic cleaner. My jewelry came out looking like I had taken them to the jewelers for cleaning. I did spend a few days thinking about buying the Magnasonic, but don't waste your time - just buy it! It's the best!!!
Great
December 29, 2016
My wife wanted a jewelry cleaner for her wedding band and engagement ring so that she didn't have to go to the jeweler anymore. They're always doing a perfunctory job there, ya know what I mean? I just put a little 'non-harsh' dish soap in there with some hot water, turn on the sonicator, and brush the jewelry with a toothbrush after 30 seconds and voila!

Fountain Pens get cleaned well.
August 30, 2017
Works fine. Seems to be built well. Easy to change the time. Doesn't really need a top. I bought it for my fountain pens. It works well for them, but diamonds, jewelry, rings? Everyone should have an ultrasonic cleaner. As far as the fountain pens go, I have expensive pens, piston fill and adapter fill. The adapter type isn't too bad since you can just lay the entire nib section in the vat. But with the piston fills, I don't like the idea of the entire pen vibrating against another surface or against another pen. I placed a rock beneath the basket so the nib could go between the basket ribs so the pen could basically be leaning against the side. It's not the most elegant method but it does work. It takes a bit to find the right place so the pen won't slide in. Oh, I did at first lay an MB149 down. At the top where you twist the piston, some substance began to come off. It looked like fog coming off the pen. Still not knowing what that was, I am concerned it could be the adhesive used to keep the brass attached to the resin. That's the main reason I won't lay them down.
My Review
March 20, 2017
It cleans very well, but it is hard to pour liquid out of it. It needs a little groove to channel and direct the water like the spout of a pitcher has. I would recommend the larger model as this is a little smaller than I thought it would be. You cannot use this for vinyl records and to clean a CD, it needs to be rotated several times.
Looks good. Works well. BUT SEE WARNING...
September 26, 2016
It works. It looks good.Worked great for getting the nasty grunge out of the nose pads on my eyeglasses. We haven't used it on my wife's jewelry much because of the various recommendations out there about putting gemstones (and synthetic ones) into an ultrasonic cleaner. Don't know details. So I am pretty happy so far (a couple weeks).BUT DANGER DANGER DANGER: One of my pairs of eyeglasses has a dark blue paint coating on the metal front piece. The glasses are 3 years old and had a couple of small, but obvious paint chips from wear and tear. After use in the ultrasonic cleaner a few times, there are *many* more places where the paint is gone. Took a while for me to realize it, but now it's pretty obvious. Apparently there were a lot of very small rough spots in the paint after 3 years and the ultrasonics "cleaned them" off the glasses entirely. Which is what you want when the imperfections are dirt and grunge. But I couldn't see these imperfections and I got surprised. My unpainted metal frames had no problems.Anyway -- it's proof that the cleaner works. Really well. So watch out.I'm still glad we got the cleaner. I guess I should have read more about ultrasonic cleaners before putting those glasses in. The nose pads certainly look nice. See photo.
It does a great job of cleaning the items I've tried so far
July 22, 2016
I was skeptical about this cleaner due to the fact it only uses water and vibration to clean but I was pleasantly surprised! It does a great job of cleaning the items I've tried so far, (earrings, ring, anklet, 2 necklace chains with charms, a folding knife with a lot of detail, and a pair of glasses) but I did have to spend some time after the cleaning trying to clean up missed spots. The after cleaning didn't take much time, but not something I really expected I'd need to do after the cleaning. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to those who would like to keep up maintenance cleanings on their jewelry and other items.
Good job with what it advertised
November 2, 2015
I was a little disappointed using only water and Dawn as per instructions with items except eye glasses so I ordered iSonic CSGJ01-8oz Ultrasonic Jewelry/Eye Wear Cleaning Solution Concentrate.I tried it with the “solution concentrate” as per their instructions and am still somewhat disappointed. The unit appears to be working fine; it works great with eye glasses and it makes rings look real nice on the outside. However, it does not clean the inside of the diamonds as well as when the jeweler cleans them. I can see the dirt come off the glasses and there is definitely dirt, etc in the bottom when finished. I also tried cleaning a “night guard” that has calcium deposits on it and it did not clean them off like the one at the dentist’s office.I suppose I was just expecting more than what this unit is made to do as the Jeweler and the Dentist must have a commercial unit stronger than this one. Actually, the unit does a good job with what it advertised to do. I suspect that it is not significantly different than others Amazon has to offer in the same price range. I will keep it and use it for eye glasses, rings, and my new night guard before it has time to accumulate deposits.
Add Dish Soap & Tarnish Remover for SPARKLE
July 31, 2015
Works well, a bit of dish soap helps degrease and I added some silver cleaner to help with tarnish. Everything sparkles now! I did need to use several cycles because most of my jewelry had never been cleaned.Word of warning - necklaces with very fine chains can get tangled by the ultrasonic waves and movement if they are put in together.Overall I'm happy with this purchase and while it's not something I'll use all the time, it was affordable and works.

I have an older version of this same machine at work. I ordered a new one for home use. it looks exactly the same but does not work as well. less steam pressure and you have to step on the petal for quite a while to get to the higher pressure which means it continues throwing out steam for a considerable time after letting of the petal. It does the job...mostly.

Okay, at best
August 19, 2017
This cleaner is okay for cleaning eye wear and normal cleanup of jewelry. I use it about once a week for my daily pieces to remove lotion and soap build up. It does NOT work for pieces that are tarnished, it may remove some but not all. I have a pendant that is heavily tarnished I “cleaned” with this at least 20 times since purchasing it and it still looks the exact same. It just doesn't cut it. However, for a spit shine type cleaning this makes fast, easy work of it and easier on the hands/nails than using an old toothbrush. I wouldn't purchase it again though and only kept because I forgot to return it.

It looks like a serious cleaning machine
December 1, 2016
I'm not sure I see much of a difference over a "dip it and brush it" system available in a jar. I also think that emptying the tank is messy since I use a solution of Formula 409 and warm water (jeweler's recommendation) that I save and refresh from one cleaning to the next. It looks like a serious cleaning machine, though! I have tried to remove tarnish on silver with this but you have to follow up with a polishing cloth. I think it's best for gold/diamond pieces.
Not heavy duty.
October 17, 2016
Not terribly impressed with the results I received. And the list of items that can't be cleaned is disappointingly long. I used it mostly for my gold jewelry and some vintage items I'd inherited. Some of these had to be done three or four times on the highest setting, and still didn't appear all that clean. (They were not excessively dirty to begin with.) Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I don't think I'd buy it again.
Good but...
October 17, 2016
I used this product and most of my jewelry came out beautiful (amazing considering only water was used per their instructions). However I only gave it 3 stars since I will have to redo two of my diamond rings which did not get completely clean. The first time I did 90 seconds then repeated it for 300 seconds. Still I like not using the usual chemical cleaners. Hopefully the two rings will look better on the third try.
This does a fairly good job of cleaning jewelry
January 30, 2016
This does a fairly good job of cleaning jewelry. They have more shine. However, I bought this thinking it would do a better job cleaning my eyeglasses, that seem to have constant smudge marks, than any of the cleaning methods I have used, (including washing with Dawn Dishwashing Liquid). Once I received the Ultrasonic Polisher, however, the written instructions included clearly state that it is effective in cleaning eyeglass FRAMES, not lenses. If I had known that ahead of time, I would probably not have ordered it, as I don't wear a lot of jewelry.I would have given this 4 stars since it cleaned my daughter's diamond nicely, but the description on Amazon says that it can be used on eyeglasses, and does not point out that it is only for the frames of the glasses. Seems like that is a bit deceitful.

Not Sure About Thus Product
September 9, 2017
The jury is still out on this product. I've only had it a couple of weeks. Possibly, my jewelry is not that dirty, or it just doesn't do that good of a job. Not sure yet. Used it to clean my husbands electric razor blades and it sure got a lot of gunk out, but he's not really seeing much difference. It definitely does nothing for my silver Indian jewelry. I'll re-review it and let you know.
Did not effectively clean my watch bracelet.
April 11, 2017
I cleaned the watch bracelet but did not clean well compared to my other ultrasonic cleaner I bought many years ago. The other smaller ultrasonic cleaner I bought was for my workplace which I purchased in the 1980's. I mainly use the old unit to clean hardened grease off small mechanical gears so I purchased this Magnasonic unit for cleaning non greasy items. It takes two minutes to really clean my watch bracelet on my old unit but when I tried on this Magnasonic cleaner, I can see the grime still attached between the bracelet after three 180 second cleanings. I did not try the hardened grease attached gears on this Magnasonic unit. Returned the unit as the old cleaner is still working.
Would not recommend this product to anyone
February 9, 2017
After less than 30 uses it just stopped working. I read the reviews that this has happened to several people. Would not recommend this product to anyone.
Poor cleaning power.
October 27, 2016
Does not clean as I expected. I tried to clean up some old pre 1982 copper pennies. After 6 cycles of the longest setting, there is some small debris in the bottom of the tank but there doesn't appear to be a huge difference in the coins. I used 10 to 1 water and simple green. If you have to clean something before putting it in here I don't see the point. Would not buy again.

August 23, 2016
Very misleading product description. Amazon should call the manufacturer on the following issues.I bought this ultrasonic cleaner to replace one that Brookstone sold a few years ago (looks the same). However, the older Brookstone model came with an arch to hold your watch face above the water level to keep it from being submersed and damaged. I bought this more expensive model because it said it was for watches rather than buying the less expensive model by the same company that did not say it was for watches. There is no arch or other way to put a watch into this cleaner without fully immersing it and ruining it if it is not waterproof. And although the Amazon product description states it is also for cleaning glasses, there is a disclaimer in the product user manual stating that it is not for use with glasses that have a pre-existing scratch or crack in the glasses coating. This is followed by the statement: "Ultrasonic cleaning is only suitable for cleaning frames". I do not plan to remove my watch from the watch band every time I want to clean the watch band and I certainly do not plan to remove my lenses from my glasses frames prior to cleaning the frames.
Poor performance, does not live up to other reviews.
July 24, 2016
Not impressed with this in the least. Does a minimal job of cleaning at best. Tried advice based on other reviews and using distilled and purified water. Other reviews seem to indicate what an amazing job this should do at cleaning my glasses. It doesn't. I had to clean them by hand still after using this. Waste of money.

September 7, 2017
This is the product that finally convinced me that amazon reviews are fake and cannot be trusted. This Magnasonic doesn't clean anything. I mean not at all. Not in the slightest way does it remove any dirt, grime, grease or debris of any kind. It is a complete and total ripoff. The only thing it effectively removes is money from your wallet.
Probably defective?
July 17, 2017
I had high hopes for this ultrasonic cleaner due to the primarily positive reviews posted. However, in my case it failed to clean either lightly smudged glasses nor any jewelry/coins with obvious (greasy) staining. Tried running multiple cycles with and without dish soap but neither cleaned even remotely. Had more success lightly scrubbing with a soft toothbrush.
Doesn't clean my jewelry - even with the recommended cleaning product.
May 13, 2017
Doesn't clean hardly at all. I used the prescribed cleaner and it doesn't clean. Even after re-cleaning and re-cleaning, my jewelry still isn't clean. Cannot recommend! Was a waste of my money. Shipping was fine. Product sucks.
No visible evidence that this unit did anything
March 26, 2017
As far as I can tell, this unit did nothing. I tried it on glasses, jewelry and coins. I saw no visible difference between the before and after condition of everything I tried. I'm returning it today..
Didn't Clean...
February 4, 2017
I bought this item based off of the reviews and was excited to receive it so I can clean my Silver. However, it didn't work as everyone stated it would. I put my jewelry in the machine and actually ran it through multiple times, based off the instructions and feedback, to see if it would get better.
Stops mid cycle- wish I could return
October 24, 2016
Bought to clean up some old jewelry. I've used it less than five times and it stops mid cycle most of the time. I'd like to return it but I think I'm stuck with it.
