Worked perfect for deep frying the turkey! Clean up was simple.

Great Fryer accessory kit and the price of the kit was 50 - 60% less than buying the replacement items individually. The quality is just as good or possibly better than my originals which disappeared after being used at a community group function, but now all is right with the universe and let the deep frying begin again in earnest.

I used this fry kit for thanksgiving, and I'm glad I did. The thermometer was dead on right out of the box and the stand was stable enough for a 16 pound bird. If I needed to purchase again, I would definitely go with this same setup.

Our turkey fryer gets lots of use and we simply wore out the rack that came with it. Then the hubs dropped the thermometer in the hot grease. This combo pack was the perfect solution. Love it.

The most dangerous part of turkey frying is lowering and raising 12-16 lbs of bird into 3-5 gallons of hot oil. This must be done slowly and deliberately. Do yourself a favor and buy the proper tools for the job. This stand worked great with a 14 lb bird, and should hold one larger than this. The additional spikes that mount into the base of the turkey stand should work well for frying multiple chickens. You could probably do 5 whole chickens at a time. The marinade injector is just a bonus item. Looks as good as any other. Thermometer worked well.

Product serves it'seems purpose, but I do wonder how long it will hold up under the weight of turkeys.

The platform is a little flimsy as some has stated. I had a 18lbs bird and the top (where you hook) barley made it out of the Turkey cavity. Instead, I used wire to wire the turkey legs together. I found it easier to catch the wire with the hook then dig around for the platform. Be careful though! When I went to pull my turkey out the wire snapped. I guess the gauge may have been to small. Good thing I had a huge pot, flame off and splashing under control.

Fairly solid and well made. very functional. Somewhat short however; with a 15-lb heritage turkey impaled on the central loop, the loop just barely emerges from the breast. A bigger bird might be difficult mount. Optional perimeter spikes mount solidly, include two washers and lock washers, as well as a nut to hold them on.

Great product! Injector clogged up easily when using a marinade, but it worked just fine with some seasoned chicken broth. Thermometer is perfect! It's very easy to read and is a perfect length. Looking forward to using the chicken attachments. I was skeptical that we'd actually be able to fit three chickens on the platform, but it appears that it'll be just fine.

This is a great budget set for turkeys and smaller game. The perforated stand is very light, and I was a little skeptical of how well it was going to hold up in the fryer. I think I have given the stand a thorough test, as I not only fried a 15lb turkey with it, I also smoked a 16lb turkey with it by using the hook and perforated stand to hang it in my smoker. It worked exceptionally well. The thermometer works pretty well and is fairly accurate. I didn't really have any problems attaching it to my 10 gallon pot. The think I liked most about the thermometer, is that it has markings for 80 degrees, which is the sweet spot for brewing beer when cooling the wort. So being able to use it not only for frying, but also in my beer brewing hobby...it definitely an added perk. I have not used the chicken skewers yet, but would like to attempt it sometime soon. I am sure this thing will be able to handle 3 chickens though. The injector was nice...but I used the tony c's creole butter, and they come with their own injectors. Nice to have an injector though if you don't have one...makes a good piece of equipment to add to any kitchen utensil arsenal. I think the only "con" is that I would like the perforated stand to be a little thicker...which is why I knocked off 1 star.

works for small turkey, like less than 13 lbs.

Wing nuts that screw the thing together were wrong size. Wouldn't tighten up. Got my own nuts and bolted it together. Otherwise ok.

Seems priced too high when you can get most of this with a 30 gallon turkey pot for forty one.

Box was smashed and it was bent. But it still worked and did the job.

I would not trust this with a bird over 15 lbs. We did a 24lb bird on T-day and it worked but it was very sketchy... ya feel me bro?

I like the set except for one problem. The thermometer arrived with the needle disconnected. The photo is attached. I should have looked before I was ready to fry, but who expects to get a new thermometer and it is broken in the box. The rest of the kit was fine and worked well for my first turkey fry. I made do with a meat thermometer and coat hanger to hold it.

the tray is very flimsey and will not suppurt any weight difference on either side, the remaining items are okay.

I did not even need to do more than open the box and remove the item to instantly see that the light duty aluminum construction of the rack would not likely support a bird of an substantial size it flexes and is flimsy. I would definitely NOT recommend you get this if you intend to use it more than once.

Plastic case that holds phone in the case is cheap and weak. Parts started breaking off after only 3 days. Can hardly hear phone conversations with case on even if open. I comfortable holding with flap hanging over hand.

Bayou classic 0835 Complete Poultry Frying RackOrdered to fry a 12 pound for Thanksgiving. Hanger is very small and requires you to be very close to pot when lowering turkey into pot. Stand is flimsy and bent the first time I tried to set the turkey on it. Thermometer and Injector are ok.I would recommend getting a more heavy duty system.

The turkey stand is made of a super soft alunium that bends very easiy. It will not hold a 5lb chicken up straight. It folds over with a 10lb turkey sitting on it. More like a turkey recliner. The ideal is good but not a QUALITY product. The injector kit is great and the thermometer is the ONLY usefull items in this kit.
