Lives up to the name. Best litter!
June 21, 2017
I live in a small apartment and absolutely will not tolerate "cat smell". Deodorants and perfumed cat litters smell worse because it just compounds the smell. Flushable litter and keeping a tidy box is the answer. Dumping litter from the box to the trash smells up the place. This stuff works for my household. Doesn't track too much like other litters and doesn't reek of perfumes. The product does a good job absorbing smells. No stale/musky urine smell. No fecal smells unless you happen to sneak up on her while she's doing her business, but don't you also smell when you're doing your business? It quickly dries up in the litter and stops stinking. Starts to reach it's max odor absorption qualities after a few weeks especially if you don't pour the litter deep enough or if you do a bad or infrequent job scooping and break up a lot of clumps. Speaking of clumps, they tend to stay together pretty well but make sure you scoop from underneath. I have been buying this stuff for 5+ years. Single cat and multi cat formulations are so similar I switch back and forth whatever is cheaper. Doesn't matter.
My cats love it.
April 7, 2017
I have 3 cats: 2 are Maine Coon brothers who weigh 17 pounds each, and, a recently rescued shorthaired 'tuxedo' female cat. I have not used this litter for many years, as, it is not available at retail in my area. When I saw this on Amazon, I decided to try it again, and, my cats apparently love it. I always keep 2 litter boxes filled, which I clean about 5 times a day. I rarely use the same type or brand of litter in both boxes. Any time I have introduced a new type of litter, my cats have always ignored the new litter, and, used the familiar litter. Not so this time, they actually used the World's Best first. Now, I have signed up for regular delivery.
Really Good Flushable Litter!
April 4, 2017
My Kitties and I like this litter. It seems to last longer without odor issues than other VERY EXPENSIVE litter I was buying. And we love that it is totally flushable even though it is a clumping litter, so there is no hauling bags of soiled litter out to the trash can, I can scoop into the toilet, flush, and be done with it. It does track, but not as bad as clay litter by any means. I also like that it is made from corn & it is unscented but still controls odor like a champ! Just do your regular scooping in your box and all is well. I did go out of town for a week and had a sitter for my kitties and they did not clean the box!.... It did stink then..... but I have let it go 2 days before when I was really sick and there was no odor.... My kitties were not happy with me however as they are use to me keeping their area clean, neat, and sweapt. I had to make up for it with a few extra treats :o) Not that they don't get those any way... lol
Only Litter in the House!
June 21, 2016
World's Best is the only cat litter we use! It has amazing clumpability, low dust and requires less product, since the clumping is superior. We had been using the Lavender version exclusively, since we thought it would provide more odor control, but our vet recently told us that while lavender is supposedly non-toxic to cats, she does not recommend using a scented litter. Since kitty licks his paws and cat butt, he is subjected to continuous ingestion of the lavender and it can only do more harm than good.We are just as happy with this litter as we were with lavender. The only downside is that none of the World's Best Cat Litters provide good odor control. When mixed with cat business, it gets a pretty strong vomit odor. We had used Arm and Hammer cat box sprinkles to combat the issue, but have since switched to natural charcoal that we placed under a mesh screen at bottom of litter box and it seems to be safe and effective.I had read other reviews that mention corn mites and since this is a corn product, the mites may be present and can harm kitty. Our excellent Vets, whom I feel are at the top of their Vet game and I trust tremendously, said this was hogwash. Just sharing that tidbit...!Lastly, we recently moved to a home on an individual country septic system and we recently had a pump out. I showed the worker this product and he confirmed it was safe to flush in our country septic!
Appropriately named "World's Best Cat Litter" !
August 29, 2015
So as a young child I had a cat. As an adult I've visited many places that owned cats. There really isn't anything worse than a house that smells like cat pee or the nasty clay cat litter. A well kept and beautiful house is totally ruined with nasty cat smell. So, when our family decided to get a cat it was a decision I didn't take lightly and I wanted to make sure to prevent that. I researched quite a bit before making a choice.I saw reviews on a lot of different cat litters and ultimately despite the price I decided this one was worth a shot. This cat litter is SOOOOO different from what I remember about cat litters. It is made of corn and can be flushed down the toilet which is insanely convenient. It does have a fragrance that to me smells like corn but I have had guests come and ask them what they smell and they didn't even notice it at all. So I'm unsure if there is any "real" fragrance that isn't in my head. The thing that really shocks me about the cat litter is how well it clumps!!!! It's crazy I just don't even know how it does it. It's inexplainable. I can tell you when your cat uses the box it forms a little perfect ball/cone and it separates from the rest of the litter perfectly. I have noticed one thing that I find myself wondering is some peoples problem. If you only put a tiny bit of litter in the box (which is what I was used to do from childhood) and the pee makes it all the way to the bottom of the pan it's somewhat problematic. Then when you try to get it out you gotta get it unstuck from the bottom and ultimately YOU break up the perfect clump. If you simply fill the box more the benefits are remarkable. It clumps so amazing it doesn't really leave behind any yucky when you sift it so from what I experienced so far you really don't need to empty the whole pan every couple days so you aren't wasting by over filling it. The trick is simply to have enough litter in the pan that it forms 1 clump without making it all the way to the bottom of the pan. I put about 4 inches I'd say in mine and it's perfection.FOR THE TL;DR people:PROS:1.) MOST AMAZING CLUMPING I'VE EVER SEEN.2.) FLUSHABLE3.) IF CLEANED FREQUENTLY AS IT SHOULD BE NO CAT SMELL.4.) NO DUST5.) NO OVERWHELMING SMELL FROM THE CAT LITTER ITSELF.CONS:1.) COST - In the realm of cat litters it's more expensive than most others.--- I truly can't think of any other cons.CONSENSUS - This is the greatest cat litter ever. It works, it's no hassle, it's amazing. The cost is without a doubt worth it. Cat lovers around the world have to be rejoicing when this was invented. It takes all the unpleasant tasks of owning a cat and leaves only the good.----EDIT---Added pictures to show you the awesome clumping action.
Best at flushing down the toilet
July 31, 2015
Love this litter. It clumps perfectly and goes right down the toilet. Fill up the litterbox with at least 2-3" and you don't need to change it for a month or two as long as you scoop and flush at least once a day, preferably twice a day. When it starts to smell (at about 6 weeks), I dump out the entire contents, wipe the box down with some baby wipes and Nature's Miracle, and add a new bag. One of these big bags covers two Booda boxes. So that is one bag per month for you heavier users. Way more efficient than heavier clay litter or pellets that just reek and have be replaced every few days. This is the best system I have found for my cats and I've been using this system for about 10 years with never a backup. For the bigger cats the key is to break the urine balls down into smaller parts with the scooper as you put them in the toilet bowel. Some have complained about the poop smell, I for one would rather know that my cat has used the litter box and get in there to scoop right away rather than let it sit in the box all day and then have one of my cats get some stuck on his tail. I've never used a litter that didn't have some kind of tracking or smelling issue and this one is the best in my opinion. I do agree that using a litter box freshener does help somewhat, but please make sure it is an all natural one. Hope this helps!

My cat loves this better than the premium food on which I've spent a small fortune for her to try. Fancy feast wins.

I'm lucky enough to have cats who will eat almost anything that I set down for them but they really like this food best.
Chloe's fave!
January 22, 2017
My cat will eat anything she can catch! Basically she is the Jeffrey Daumer of the fur world. But she will not touch most canned foods. Keeping this in the house saves the wildlife of the area from certain doom! Send me 10 more boxes! Also did some research on what to get for my baby who vomits every now and then. My cats can be sensitive and throw up a lot - Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving helps them keep their food down and digest it better. I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and it is really great for my babies.
My Maine Coon cats love this

This makes everybody happy
December 1, 2016
This is our regular, every day cat food for our 8 cats. There is enough variety in the flavors to please everyone. And the price here could not be beat by any of our local stores. So I save myself time and money by having this shipped to our home monthly. I also give my catsVitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving and they love it. If they're off their food, sprinkle some Vitapet Probiotic on it and stand back! Originally my vet prescribed it so I use her recommendation as a guide to value and quality of the product. It really helps my finicky, elderly cats take an interest in their food.
Appropriately fancy for high society feline.

Please note I write this reply in lieu of Mephisto, who, despite repeated efforts, cannot type.He notes that the shredded texture is a nice break from the usual pate of other foods, and adds a variety to his diet beyond flavor alone. The amount of sauce is perfect, and when added to his dry kibble makes the food a bit easier on his teeth, a situation he assures me is quite common among senior cats and does not diminish his ferocity nor refinement. He would further like to note that he appreciates the careful consideration put into the pull-top lid, for he finds the pop-crescendo-click of it's opening to be a musically appropriate overture to the meal.

Cats love it.
September 17, 2017
Our cats love this food, having started with the kitten formula and having graduated to the adult. We love that it's grain free as it's easier on our little guys' stomachs, and they seem to love the taste. The 10 pound bag is just the right size for us as it perfectly fills up the hopper in our automatic feeder. The price is right with subscribe and save as well!
Excellent food for cats!
January 21, 2017
This food is one of the best on the market for cats. It is high protein, grain free, meat based food and (because cats are carnivores) is great for cats. My two cats love this food and have been very healthy while on it .My cats used to throw up frequently on their old food but ever since switching to this food, they hardly ever throw up! We also add a probiotic to prevent vomiting flare ups Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving. It seems to help the intestinal track of my cats. The stools seem better well formed. I got it at the suggestion of my vet for blood in the stools of my cat, and this product seems to have at least diminished the amount of blood I have seen.
My two cats who were on Wellness instantly loved it!
October 23, 2016
While looking for the better solution for the litter, I stumbled upon this dry food and just gave it a try. Our two cats who have been on Wellness grain free for a long time loved it right away. I did not even need to mix them to get them familiarized.. They started digging in as soon as I filled their bowls!Being cheaper than Wellness, grain-free, no bi-products, and now that my cats like it, I think I am going to stick to this one until I find a better one!
This is great cat food
August 16, 2016
This is great cat food. I switched to this after getting those nasty little Grain Weevils in my poor Emma's old food, Even though it was stored in an air tight container, It was gross. This food is 100% grain free so I am not worried about those pesky little bugs anymore. Plus she likes it. I was worried she was not going to eat it as some cats are fickle about switching food, she eats it. So we're both happy! All paws in on this!
Quality Grain-Free Diet
August 6, 2016
Our Siamese and our Oriental Shorthair love this food and it has helped them attain and maintain ideal weight, glossy coats, and lots of energy. We discovered the benefits of grain-free cat food when we were dealing with a chronically ill Bengal rescue cat, so when we adopted these two young cats from a shelter, it was a natural choice. The Oriental, in particular, had a thin and patchy coat when we got him, and now he looks beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone in search of a better diet for their pets.
Using for ferret food & it is excellent.
June 22, 2016
I wish this food was way more affordable so I can feed it to all my dogs and my cats, but sadly I cannot afford that right now. However, this food is great. I use it for my ferrets after the lady at the ferret rescue center I adopted two of my three ferrets from recommended this food, the more crazy expensive epigen food, or the marshall's chicken selects food. Using anything else, including Zupreem, those walmart or petco ferret foods, or even the regular Marshalls food without the chicken selects on it is awful for your ferrets, so I opted for this food since it is more affordable than the epigen one. That said, I switched my ferrets from the chicken selects one from Marshall's to this one and within the week, I saw a big change not only in their energy levels but also their poop. I did some research online beforehand and compared various foods to this one, and I saw that this one was the one with the best ingredients. I also learned that the first ingredient listed, for example if it says chicken first under ingredients, that means that there is more chicken in the food than anything else. Looking around, I've seen that a lot of dog and cat food has CORN or POULTRY MIX or words like that that are NO BUENO, i.e. NOT GOOD at all for your pet. That means most of the food is full of fillers, not actual meat or chicken that your dogs/cats/and ESPECIALLY ferrets need. Ferrets are very carnivorous so I am thrilled I can give them this good quality food and not break my wallet, even though it is too pricey to feed to my cats/dogs.Back to the noticeable changes, their poop became slightly smaller and a better consistency, which means they are digesting more of their food, especially compared to how much and how often they would poop on the Marshall's ferret food diet. They also started playing and "dooking" or laughing and running more often about a month or so after I made the switch. Before they would play but they would sleep most of the time and seemed more lethargic than now. I am never going back to anything but this for my ferret food!

Fantastic product for owners, some cats will not be turned onto it.
September 5, 2017
We have been using this litter in our three cat household for over a year now. I initially tried other eco friendly options for kitty waste (although the king - potty training your kitty!, is illegal in California and was out as an option) such as pellets and shavings before landing on this. There is an odor to the product, but it goes away quickly and is not overpowering unless your face is close to it. I tend to get headaches over perfume odors and this has never bugged me. The dust is minimal with the product and a standard litter scoop has no problem sifting this from the urine/feces. We have extra deep boxes and typically give a good 6-8" of product at a time, in each of our boxes. The cat's thoughts? Two of our three love it. They eagerly await scooping time to rush into fresh litter and do some extra business. We will always buy this product for them. Our third cat, who admittedly is a menace to society, hates it. She will not have it, for any trick or attempt at introduction. She actually took to peeing on our bedroom floor and pooping in the garage rather than use the litter, even when offered it in her own private box. Now, she's back to traditional clay litter and pottying in a box like a proper cat.Our neighbor did cat sit while we were away on vacation and loves the litter as well. It tends to go further than the typical clay litter in our experience. She now buys it for her kitty and that cat agrees it is the best litter.Overall, I like the litter. I will continue buying it. I wish my seven year old girl would get on board with using it too, but alas... 2 out of 3 isn't bad odds.
Pleasantly surprised
November 3, 2016
I'm kind of amazed this stuff clumps. I have used this product for a week now. Absolutely no dust. which is the biggest reason I want to get rid of the clay. Others say there is an odd smell. I have a sensitive nose and you have to have your nose 6 inches away from the box to smell it. Not an unpleasant smell, just unusual. Lightweight and clumps as good as the clay litters. Tracks just as bad as clay litters, but easier to clean up. Another bonus for me is disposing of a bag and not a hard plastic container.UPDATE: For whatever reason, the longer the litter sits in the box, the stronger it smells. Also, your cat's feet will smell like the litter. It does stink. That is a problem for me since the cat sleeps wrapped around my head. I'm not sure I will stick with this litter.
WBCL beats Precious Clumping Litter
July 24, 2016
From a stand-alone, no-comparisons point of view, this litter is pretty decent. For a single-cat household, the bag goes a long way. Half of the bag went into the VERY large Catit Litter Box (linked) Catit Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan - Warm Gray and a refill one month later used another quarter of the original 28-lb bag.**UPDATES START**Sept 2016I took my cat to my parents' house for a month, and the house is significantly bigger than my apartment. My cat (7lbs, 1.5 yrs old) ran around a lot more, so she ate and drank more. Almost the entire bag was used within a month, with enough left for 1 more week of activity. The amount of time the litter lasts, then, depends on my cat's eating, which depends on her activity, which depends on the amount of space she has.Jan 2017Coming home from holiday break, the litter was very powdery. It stuck to many surfaces and the cat would not use it like this -- she pooped right in front of the box on the mat instead. It seemed like she had runny poop at some point in the box, and this did not clump up like it did for pee. This was the first time since I purchased (3-4 months) it that I had to fully empty the box and refill it, which is honestly not bad. ALSO for one of my repurchases, the bag was indeed broken open. I lost a few tablespoons of litter and it was a bit of a mess, but I just taped the hole closed and kept using it.**UPDATES END**It smells like corn, but not overwhelmingly so -- I can only smell it when I go to clean out the box. It hides the scent of cat urine completely, though it doesn't hide the scent of cat feces, especially when your cat doesn't bury it. HOWEVER, the hooded litterbox prevents me from smelling it until I go to clean it, so it isn't an issue. There is a significant amount of dust/powder. Dust rises when I go to scoop the litter, and there is a lot of tracking on the mat directly by the entrance of the litterbox. I use a long hallway mat as a litter mat, so floor tracking is minimal, but there is a significant amount of litter bits within ~1 ft of the box's entrance and a thick bit of dust within 2 in of the box's entrance. Slight dust tracking extends to a few feet from the box entrance, but none have made it onto my furniture since my cat likes to wipe her paws on the mat/carpet near the box. If dust tracking on furniture is very important to you and your cat doesn't tend to do the same, you may want to take this into consideration. As a first-time cat owner, I didn't have anything to compare this litter to... until I watched over my friends' two cats over the weekend. They used two smaller boxes, both filled with Precious Clumping Cat Litter (linked) Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter, 40 pound bagPrecious clumps just as well and has significantly less dust, but the odor control is hideously lacking. Even with daily litterbox cleaning, the smell of ammonia was unbearable with Precious litter. It is also much heavier than WBCL, making it harder to scoop. The clay in Precious also tends to stick to the sides of the litterbox, leaving a smear when you try to scrape it off the sides, whereas WBCL removes itself cleanly and readily. My main concern with a corn-based litter is the possibility of moths, since we've had a previous outbreak of Indian Mealmoths (which tend to lay eggs in grain, in our case, rice). However, the moths have not taken to the litter thus far, which may be either in part due to our cat's bug hunting or the chemical conditions of the litter (aka cat urine). Either way, it has not been a problem thus far, though I will update if that changes.Overall, based on the convenience of clumping litter and my negative experiences with clay-based litter, I believe I will continue to use WBCL.
No chemical smells, some poopy smells though :/
April 1, 2016
This is some great cat litter. When I look for cat litter, I have a couple of goals. In order of importance, they are:1. Is this safe for my cat?2. Does this smell like chemicals?3. Does this cover cat smells?4. Does this clump or does it cause a mess during cleanup?World's Best Cat Litter completes 3 out of the 4 excellently. #1, it is safe for my cat. Natural/organic ingredients are always a plus. No side effects on my cat (although I think he may have tried eating it the first couple times). #2, it does NOT smell like chemicals. I have tried using other litters (Fresh Step, Clump & Seal) and all I smelled was chemicals. When my cat crawls up on me, I do not like his stinky chemical paws all on everything. World's Best is not a smelly litter. And now to #3...my litter box stays in my basement. I must be honest - this is the one area that it does not pass. I do not think this litter hides smells very well. It's a trade off for me, because I know it's not harming my cat - but it does stink if you don't clean the box almost every single day. #4 - yes, it clumps well and does not cause a mess.
It is kind of the best cat litter I have found so far
February 5, 2016
Overall, this is a decent cat litter, but the price makes me cringe since its the same price as my cat food bag, only this goes a lot faster. It is kind of the best cat litter I have found so far, as far as store bought litters go.Pros- There's no overwhelming scent.- It clumps well and doesn't stick to the box when trying to scoop out. Just have to wait a little bit before scooping out urine, so the litter will absorb.Cons- It doesn't mask the odor for very long- There is a little bit of dust, but not too bad.- Gets tracked around where the litter box is. I imagine this will stop now that I have a litter mat.My cat has asthma, which is why I needed to switch from the overly dusty and scented arm & hammer to this. She would have coughing fits every day, multiple times a day. I switched to this and it progressively got better. So if you have a cat with asthma, I highly recommend giving this a try.
LOVE everything except the SMELL
March 17, 2015
I love this brand.Pros -Extremely lightweightAffordable. I can buy 2 large bags (21lbs) and they last me an entire month for a dozen cats.Clumps well so less waste of product so it lasts longerDoes NOT stick to the litter boxObviously recyclable, flushable.... and non-toxic for the cats.Cons -Really have a problem with a musty smell that comes from the litter. I have tried the scented versions or changing out the boxes more often but there is just a musty odor that is from the corn.

The only food my cat will eat.
June 24, 2017
My cat is 18 years old, she's been eating this for 14 years, I spent the first years of her life trying all the cat food available, she would eat it for a while and then turn her nose up and refuse to eat it. This is the only food that she continued to eat with no problem. The reason for 4 stars is it seems to have changed lately, the consistency is more like the shredded food and not ground up like it used to be, making it difficult for an 18 yr old cat to eat. I would change it but this is the only food she will eat even with difficulty. I tried all the other Fancy Feast Medleys and Florentine is the only one she will eat The nutrition must be good, as I said, she's 18 yrs old and has been really healthy
Great price; better than the store....my buddy loves it
January 27, 2017
Sometimes I get this one and other times I get the twenty-four or thirty-six size box; whichever has the lower price. My buddy only likes the pate (original) version......fish variety first, the turkey or chicken meats second
Cat loves it - not very natural though
February 4, 2016
My cat (Sobe) loves this food. I only feed her 1/3 of a can each morning as I let her eat dry kibble freely throughout the day. She only weighs 9 pounds. She goes nuts in the morning and wakes me up just to get her breakfast. I would prefer to feed her something that is all natural, all meat, and doesn't have added colors but she has not been a fan of those types of food. I'll keep this on hand until I find something healthier that she will eat.

Sobe would give it five stars and I wanted to give it three so we will settle with four.
Gravy's Great
September 3, 2014
Hi, I'm Milla, one of the family's cats. I've taken over the keyboard so you get this from my view. I think I meet the eligibility guidelines Amazon has because I'm almost six, which is about forty in your age, so I'm old enough to learn how to write. I have to admit, you need to consider what I say because I have a confession to make: I love food--all kinds--both mine and my human servants! They say I'm food-motivated, so maybe you need to take this review with a few treats!

I gave this four only because they don't have ham flavored; I love ham--every time they open the fridge I come running hoping for some. But, if I have to deign to eat mere cat food, I love these little cans.

Of course, as I said, they say I'm food-motivated. If they ask me if I want treats, I always come running to the kitchen. They made a dumb rule that I have to jump up into the "treat chair", and I always do--I just can't resist anything they give me, well--maybe not bananas.

My only whine about this is that it doesn't fill me up quite as much as those cans that have almost all meat. But, it is better than the weight-control dry food they usually make me eat for my real meal.

Now, if only they'd come out with that fourth variety--ham--now that would really be the cat's meow!
It was the seafood variety that I needed .
July 21, 2013
I was reluctant to buy due to the confusion in the description of the product and the higher than regular price..I like to buy CLASSIC,SEAFOOD VARIETY and after reading the reviews again and again, plus some answered questions by members..I ended getting what I asked for. They arrived in two days and well packaged..I never give a whole can to my cats ..I refrigerate, cut it up in 8 wedges and give them one in the morning and one at night, plus as a treat. It helped me to train them better since they had to turn into indoor cats after being out-indoor for three years. The level of stress was incredible and leaving them in the new house (for me)a whole nightmare...so I just offer them a little of it,on top of the dry food, and they are happy to see me going. As some people say ,yes the cats gained weight after this type of food was added to the diet. But The lifestyle change and the ingestion of fat,I believe, helps to lower the production of hairballs...I still take them out on a harness,so they can eat their grass and clean their digestive system.

Finicky cat. Sick, overweight cat. Doctor prescribed a high protein diet....wanted us to buy the very expensive prescription food found in vet offices. That was not an option for us and found this as an alternative. Cat likes it. Cat is doing well on it and has even lost weight using controlled portions!
Our cat is a spoiled feline so we like to make sure he is eating well
October 2, 2016
Our cat is a spoiled feline so we like to make sure he is eating well. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and quite the mouser, but he prefers to play with his catch and eat the cat food. I think that says a lot about this product. We will continue to buy this as long as we have our furry little friend. If this review was helpful please click that it was!
Cheap! But no zip
September 1, 2016
Cheaper than in stores ! Love Saving me some money. Only downside it doesn't zip back up after opening so I had to put in a different container so it wouldn't go hard.
Less Hairballs = Happy Cat Mom
August 3, 2015
Overall great cat food. Sure, the cats don't love it as much as the cheap $5 bags but they learn to love that their Mom is trying to feed them better. We have 5 cats and go through a bag of this a month (along with 2 cans of soft food a day). They didn't complain about this food when we made the switch to this and seem to enjoy it. Ever since starting this food I've seen a large decrease in them throwing up. We have 2 Maine coons and 1 Persian so they are furry little buggers but they hardly throw up now. I will keep feeding them this.Only negative is that I was recommended this food for soft stool in one of our cats abut unfortuntely this food didn't solve it.
Cat loves it, wallet not so much
July 28, 2014
I give it only a 4 because it makes me sad to spend $40 on cat food, but it has been good for my cat though. After doing a little research and learning how bad some foods are with corn/wheat fillers I took a look at my old food and its first ingredient was corn and it made up almost 40% of the food. It started to make sense why my cat was obese even though (quantity wise) she was not eating all that much. For the last few months I have put my overweight kitty on the catkins diet with this food. She loves it and is finally dropping weight (almost able to lick her own butt again so I don't have to keep cleaning it for her!). Only problem I have with it is the other 2 cats in the house want to eat her food more than their own.

Smells like poop, urine smell gone.
April 15, 2017
Did the formula change? I used this years ago and loved it. After using it a few days I purchased more because it clumps so much better than the tidy cat.I had two boxes next to each other. One with tidy cat and one with this. The ammonia smell from the tidy cat was so much more horrible. Problem is that I kept smelling something that smelled like a dog pooped in the house. I then realized it was this litter. The smell is just like poo and I clean the boxes every day. Mixing the two litters actually produced the best results. Ammonia and poo smell almost gone.My second bag was received damaged due to poor packing. They put another box in on top of it and that box punctured a hole, making litter fall out all over the UPS drivers truck and all over my sidewalk. Amazon refunded my money, but I'm going to try something else.
dust-covered cat
April 4, 2017
It's not dust free. I like this litter a lot except for the fact that after a couple days it'll start to break down a bit and covers my cat in corn dust all over her face, tail and feet. Sometimes she'll come in the room and half her face is covered in the litter dust and I have to then chase and wipe her face clean. She also tracks all over place with her footprints. I want to replace it because she has been having some respiratory issues and I don't think this helps her breathing. Otherwise I felt odor wise it was good without any perfumes.
the unused portion around the clump does not sift through the litter scoop easily; a lot of good litter is wasted this ...
August 22, 2015
My cats won't use it. Strangest thing ever; it is touted as one of the most attractive litters out there for cats who avoid using litter boxes. Also, when you scoop it, the unused portion around the clump does not sift through the litter scoop easily; a lot of good litter is wasted this way. Everyone talks about the smell, this is only when it is right out of the bag, haven't noticed much after that. Still trying to get them to transition to using this, have tried everything with regard to litter box setup. Still, it is successful for many cats out there and the flushability is great.
Has an odor
December 21, 2014
The good: a renewable resource, is bio-degradable and potentially compost-able, is lighter in weight that clay litters so the bags are easier to handle, and it clumps better than any clay litter I've used. The bad: the litter has an odor of its own. Depending on where your litter box is, the number of cats you have, how much they pee, humidity, and I don't know what other factors, you may or may not notice the odor. If you don't smell the litter, you'll probably be thrilled with it. Otherwise, you'll be utterly disgusted; the odor is approximately barnyard with undertones of vomit. Also: when I was switching litters, I discovered my cats prefer clay litter to this one. Not an issue unless you have a cat that is picky enough to skip using the litterbox if it is filled with an un-favorite litter.
Low Dust, but High Stink!
January 13, 2014
Just cannot justify ordering a second bag at this price, and considering its lackluster performance, I think this product is inaptly named.Sure, I had high hopes going in -- that litter box changes would suddenly become more pleasant, i.e. not having to hold my breath so long (cuz I hate breathing litter dust!!) -- but quickly found there's nothing "World's Best" about this kitty litter. In fact, our single cat proved that even a little urine starts to small real fast, and a LOT of urine (she's an older cat who drinks a lot of water) creates a problem in several ways -- the smell (ugh!), the unsightliness (either she failed to bury her puddles in this litter, or else they just 'float' more in this lightweight material?), and the frequency of changing required (2x as often as our old Costco-bought brand).Think we'll go right back to the clay-based multi-cat product we've always used and hardly ever smelled. In the future, I will NOT be lulled into trying anything with the words "World's Best" in the name, especially when it costs 4x as much!
WORLD'S BEST? NOT IF ODOR CONTROL IS A PRIORITY
January 5, 2014
World's Best Cat Litter has a lot to recommend it--which I'll get to in a moment--but if odor control is a top priority for you, then I'd suggest you look elsewhere. Fortunately for me, at least for now, odor control is not a big issue: I have a four-month old kitten who eats only dry food, so this is a best case scenario when it comes to potential litter box odor problems. And yet, I'd say that "World's Best" is barely okay at managing the minimal odor control that I need. I wouldn't want to be facing a more challenging situation, and I'll probably have to switch to another brand once my kitten is full grown. For now, however, I really appreciate that World's Best is a corn-based litter that is both flushable and biodegradable. I like its natural smell out of the bag, as well as its minimal dust and outstanding clumping abilities. For these reasons, I intend to keep using it, until my nose knows that it's time to switch brands. If you haven't used World's Best before, but are thinking about trying it, I'd suggest getting a smaill bag as a trial, especially if you think that odor might be a problem. The fact that "World's Best" now makes an "Advanced Performance Formula" of this litter (at a MUCH higher price)--in addition to various scented and multiple cat formulas--indicates to me that even they know that this original formula doesn't quite do the job.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and I hope you find it helpful in making a purchasing decision.

Cats will love it... although you wish they didn't
June 25, 2017
I have no idea why, but 2 of my cats seem to love this line of Fancy Feast better than any of the other types of Fancy Feast. Albeit, they love licking the gravy more than eating the actual food at times. I honestly wish that my cats would eat something healthier than this brand( there are alot of by-products in the ingredients), but I have tried buying every healthy alternative out there, and the cats always end up not eating it. Also, a word of caution: this food will give some cats gas. One of my cats has horrible gas from eating this food all the time, but as I said earlier, I can't find any other food that she likes to switch her completely from this brand.
Cats love it. I don't.
April 1, 2017
Cats like it but smells sooo stinky. I keep thinking there's something rotten around my kitchen then realize it's the stinky cat food. I'm sticking with poultry from now on. The shrimp flavored has the worst odor. P.U.!
This is pretty good cat food on a budget
August 25, 2016
This is pretty good cat food on a budget, actually. When my cat started having allergies I switched him off it but I think it was the litter and not this food. Still, this food is on the lower end of the food chain as far as costs so do be careful and watch your cats health.
You are paying partly for gravy.
April 3, 2014
Anyone who cooks knows that gravy is cheap and easy to make. By putting gravy in cat food it is doing nothing for your cat and saving the company money. Buy a brand/flavor that uses as much real meat products as possible. Cats didn't mind it but I can make them a batch a gravy and pour a little over a good quality canned cat food. Just doesn't make sense that this company would use such an obvious filler.

Edit- Gave it an extra star because I still use Fancy Feast but I changed to the Grilled, cats seem to love it even more and I feel like I am getting more quality product instead of filler (likely all in my head though).
My Cats Prefer the Grilled or Classic...
February 14, 2014
I thought my cats would love this since they like the "Grilled" variety... and expected this to provide more liquid, which they seem to enjoy.

At first it seemed to be acceptable.

Then I did a side-by-side taste test within each (beef to beef, chicken to chicken, etc) flavor variety... and the grilled version was preferred by my finicky geriatric cat... who sets the rules.

Lately he seems to like the heavier pate consistency... so I have started buying the 'classic' in chicken and (ugh) liver... apparently smelly liver increases appetite... see cans of a/d. Anything to get him to eat... I will buy. Even if its this mid quality brand of Fancy Feast.

Way too expensive for cat food that I can't really get any one of my cats to eat. Too healthy.

I approve. My cat hates it.
Cat became lethargic and his coat is dull
October 31, 2016
I bought this for my large, overweight cat because I thought the ingredients looked healthier than the Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight that he had been eating for several months. He's almost through the 15 lb bag and I'm switching him back to the Science Diet. He's been extremely lethargic and his coat is dull. He's not the same happy, energetic cat anymore. Maybe the Blue Buffalo doesn't have enough of the vitamins that he needs.
My cats prefer the junk food
September 9, 2015
My outside cats prefer Friskies?? I mainly bought for my 15 yo cat after I learned about the protein in cat food coming from things like leather and unmentionables which causes health deficiencies over time (~and it's over time). I introduced it by mixing it in their regular old Friskies but found they would eat all the Friskies and leave the little pieces of Wilderness outside of the bowl. lol! It was actually a real spectacle to watch. They took mouthfuls of food, emptied it beside the bowl, then sifted through it to make sure they wouldn't eat the Wilderness catfood. Who knew cats prefered corn, leather and unmentionable parts to the "healthy" stuff?? I guess, they really are like people after all. :)
My cats loved this food, however...
January 29, 2015
It is very very hard little pieces. I wanted to give my cats a better food so I picked this up and they ate it well for a few months. Then I realized one of my 12yo cats was losing weight. I knew she was missing a lot of her little teeth but she still had her back teeth and the vet said she was fine, that we didn't need to put her on soft food. Mmmk, another month goes by and she's lost more weight, down to half her original weight, actually. She had a little belly to start but really wasn't plump. I finally just started buying her soft food and she's started gaining weight again. I also went back to their old brand of food that has pieces that are a bit softer (or less dense I suppose) and easier to break apart. She eats her old food just fine again. I'm not going to bother trying the mature formulas. Everyone is happy the way things are currently.
This stuff didn't work for our cat
March 30, 2012
I have no doubt this product contains quality ingredients, and for many cats it might be a key to good health and nutrition. We were looking for a high-quality grain-free food, and our cat wasn't able to digest this well at all. She seemed to like the taste of it just fine, certainly never ate less of it than other foods, but it gave her diarrhea which persisted even when we cut the food down to a 50/50 mix with her old food. As soon as we switched her to a different food, a more conventional healthy weight loss formula, the problem went away immediately. I don't mean to imply this will happen with every cat, and I can see there are many good reviews here (which is why we tried it, despite the price being quite a bit higher than our usual cat food), but I thought I should mention our cat's strong reaction. If your cat is sometime "iffy" with new foods, you might consider purchasing a smaller quantity of this first to make sure they can digest it OK.

it seems to make them worse. Also
March 23, 2017
Can you even flush cat litter and / or cat dung? The EPA says no way! But the EPA is being gutted by Scott Pruitt so I'm just gonna flush away. This does not cover odors -- at all. In fact, it seems to make them worse. Also, the claims on the bag are crazy. The dust this litter makes is outrageously high and I highly doubt it's the world's best.
They love to get up on the coffee table while I'm ...
December 12, 2016
I've used this product for years, with full satisfaction. Not any more! The last two bags have been different. MUCH dust! I have two large, very longhaired cats, and they come out of their litter closet carrying enough dust to cover my big, near-black coffee table (and everything else). They love to get up on the coffee table while I'm asleep, so every morning my first task is to clear away the thick dust and feline footprints. This dust also accumulates wherever they sleep, especially on my couch, where it sinks through the coarse weave and releases each time they jump up on it. Yes, I vacuum. Often. It isn't enough to banish the dust. Which, by the way, is exactly the color of the litter. NONE of this used to happen with this litter, and now it's a deal-breaker. I'm off to read reviews of other cat litters--with five stars and assurances that litter will not be tracked everywhere. Boo. Hiss.
Good at clumping, but the smell is too much for us
November 6, 2016
We recently switched to this litter after years of using pellets with another cat. Our new kitty seems to like it and it does clump well, but we have decided to stop using it because of the smell - it's pretty musty smelling. It makes our cat smell like it and it's not like he lays around in it for a while or anything - not that I've seen at least :)So yeah, I wish we could keep using it, but the smell is too much for us.
GREAT if you want POWDERED cat LITTER to track everywhere
October 28, 2015
I ordered this bc I assumed it was the "worlds best cat litter (WBCL." I mean, why wouldn't it be after all the rave reviews? Prior to this I have tried tidy cats, and after that I switched to WBCL, jasmine scented (purple package). I liked that one more than this one bc it was not as powdery as this green bag of S***, i mean powder. However, even the jasmin scented WBCL (purple packaging) did not live up to the hype, bc it was also powdery (BUT LESS THAN THIS GREEN BAG) and I think it made my cat sneeze probably 6 times a day (another reason to change litter). My cat still sneezes just as much if not more w/this green WBCL, but I have agiant 28lb bag of this green WBCL to go through and I hate wasting $$.With this purchase I am VERY dissapointed. It looks like little crumbs & powder when I open the package, kind of like what you have once you get to the bottom of a box of cheerios. It clumps together, but when my cat is done in the litterbox he has all the litter residue and powder on his feet, and yes this DOES track. I can clearly see his POWDERED FOOTPRINT on my dark carpet. The Jasmine WBCL (purple bag) did not stick to his feet as much as this green bag of powder does. I will continue searching for another cat litter and will likely try the refillable buckets they sell @ petco or petsmart my friend was telling me about, and mix it with the WBC, ANYTHING TO ELIMINATE THIS POWDER!
After 2 months of use, could not wait to get rid of it.
February 3, 2015
I got this litter to replace the Petco Crystal litter that for some reason is not available anymore.I really wanted to like World's Best, but I just could not wait to get rid of it after 2 months of using it.Reasons:1) Tracking and dust: What annoyed me the most was by far the tracking and the dust. Granted my cat is a digger, has long hair and big paws, and does tend to track litter, but this was way more than any other litter I had tried before. The stuff was just everywhere. I had to sweep the floor twice a day, and had to fully clean my apartment three times as often as I usually did before. Every time he used the litter box (closed litterbox with a lid placed in a corner of the living room), he came out with dust all over his paws and face, walked to one of the rugs, and opened his paws to release tons of little corn bits all over the place. He had to clean himself so much more to get rid of the dust, and very often would walk on furniture and leave dust marks on my couches, rugs and bed.2) "Flushable": I was flushing the litter as suggested, until my toilet got horribly clogged. The plumber said there was a huge plug somewhere deep down and it took him a lot of effort to remove. He urged me not to throw anything but toilet paper in there. I stopped flushing the litter. I don't know if it was the only reason for the clog but I'm sure it contributed since I had not had this problem before.3) Smell: the smell of the actual unused litter did not bother me at all. However, after a week of use, I could smell it in the entire apartment. This litter needs daily or bidaily cleaning, which I don't mind at all and did do, but the smell would persist. I could tell that the cat was not happy with this either. He would dig for a long while before coming out of the box.4) Length of use: I had to change it much more often than litters I used in the past, especially because of the smell. I felt like I was wasting more time and money than I did before.Yes it's natural, and it reassured me that my cat was munching on corn bits instead of crystals or clay, and yes, it clumps very well and you can remove pee really easily, but that's pretty much all I liked about it. I clean the entire box every time I change the litter, so really the pee at the bottom of the box has never been a huge issue for me. What drove me nuts was the corn bits EVERYWHERE.I think it really depends on the person ultimately. I for instance hate wasting my time cleaning my apartment more often than I have to just for litter, and have a very sensitive nose so smell can be a big issue for me. However I don't mind cleaning the box entirely at every change, and don't really care for clumping properties that much. I know other cat owners may absolutely need to litter to clump for them to feel it's a good and easy litter to use.I was doing well with the crystal litter. It didn't clump, but pee was absorbed very well as long as there was enough litter in the box and that it was changed as needed (which was much less often than World's Best needed). There were some crystals tracked but seriously insignificant, and there was only some dust when I poured the crystal litter from the bag into the box. There was NO SMELL at all. I'm pretty sad that it's not available anymore.I just switched to a recycled paper litter. Tracking is virtually non-existent so that's an awesome start for me. I'll have to wait and see for the smell and absorbance.
Test a small bag before going all in
February 1, 2015
I would advise that you buy the smallest bag first and see how your cat does with it. The product has a nice smell and it's nice that it can be flushed down the toilet, is lighter, etc. but my cat doesn't use it like normal litter. She will only drop her load on it then just walks away leaving a big steamy smelly package in the open air stinking up the room. When I switched back to a normal clay litter (I used this stuff http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009X29WK) she'll dig a hole, drop the load, and then bury it which covers the smell (mostly).I made the mistake of buying the 28 pound bag so now I've got about 25 pounds of litter I'll never end up using.

Possibly Bad
September 3, 2017
While my cat eats it, he's gotten progressively less happy about it over time, and this last order I think I got a bad batch. I haven't seen anything about recalls but twice in a row now after eating a can of this he's gotten very sick to his stomach. Beware if your cat is older or has any kind of sensitive digestive issues.
The fast food of wet cat food. Avoid.
August 10, 2017
Fancy feast is only good if you want a "gordy" feline. I would steer clear of this product as it seems to have some sort of additive in it that makes you cat want to eat all day long. I fed my feline 4 cans in one day, and he was still hungry. I suppose if you have a sick cat that won't eat, for some reason, it works to get an appetite going. But, it is way overpriced for the amount you get.
Not a favorite for my cranky senior cat.
August 2, 2017
To say my 17 year old finicky cat hated this new type of food would be an understatement. Jack aka Booty only eats food with the consistency of Pate. When the vet put him on a "fancy" prescription diet for his kidneys he went on a hunger strike until I struck gold with fancy feast Poultry and Beef Classic. This was his diet until I tried to get adventurous with Grave Lovers.

Mr. Jack turned his nose up to each and every flavor preferring to go hungry rather than trying even a morsel of Poultry and Beef Lovers Gravy feast.. No worries, I gave 93 cans to friends with cats who are younger and more open minded.
Try something different
December 18, 2016
When I first bought these, my Schitzel loved them. So I bought another 12 pack. Now he turns up his nose. I'll put the food in his dish and now just won't eat it. Is there something that he knows now that I don't? I didn't just feed him this. I vary flavors and brands. The others he still eats. Now I have an unopened 12 pack.
Kitty only ate the gravy..
March 26, 2016
Got this for my kitty right after adopting her from a shelter. Well, she would only eat the gravy... Which is fine, as we are also feeding her a blue buffalo high protein dry food. But I doubt she'd get all the nutrients she needs from just the gravy.
All that being said - she loved the gravy.

Struvite Crystals

Stay away! Seems to be healthy, but it gives my cats UTI's. EDIT: Gives them struvite crystals (not UTI's)
1 cat ok, 1 cat sick
October 14, 2016
Over the course of the three weeks I fed this to my cats, one seemed fine but the other had issues. The cat that had issues stopped eating, mostly sat on a cozy chair and would not move around much. After a couple days of this, she started vomiting bile. After taking her to the vet once for a blood test (result: normal) we were told to take her home for a couple of days. Two days later we took her back for an ultrasound (showed air bubble in digestive system) and an exray (normal) the vet recommended a new food. She has since enjoyed the switch and is doing well.
Made Cats Start Throwing Up
August 1, 2016
After being on this food for a few days both of my cats started throwing up. Both of them did it several times and the vomit did not contain hairballs but barely-digested food. I figured a higher protein diet would be good for them, but apparently they need more fiber than this food can provide.
3 Cats Not Fans
November 20, 2015
In my efforts to create a healthier diet for my 3 cats, I tried this food out with them. None of my 3 cats cared for this food.I gave it two stars because of the healthy ingredients. I offered them Purina One Chicken & Turkey separately, and they actually eat that food.
High Phosphorous Levels Led to FLUTD in 2 of 4 of Our Cats
January 2, 2015
Unfortunately, after feeding our four cats Blue Buffalo's various cat foods, we discovered that it was at the root of why two of them got FLUTD, requiring emergency vet visits, medications and follow-up vet visits. We have switched to another all-natural good-quality food that's much lower in phosphorous, which was the entire problem. (Unlike what many vets want you to think, you don't need Science Diet k/d at exorbitant prices, and the problem isn't that your cat needs lower protein - for heaven's sake, they're carnivores.) Just be careful, as we didn't know until our vet found out we were feeding them Blue Buffalo, that there've been lots of similar complaints from cat owners who use this food - any of it, not just this particular type. Watch your cats for signs of urinary distress, please, as in male cats it can be especially deadly very quickly if you don't get help for them.
My Cat Was Unable to Digest This Well
May 29, 2013
Before purchasing this, I did my research and read all the glowing reviews here on Amazon about Blue Buffalo Wilderness Cat Food. I have no doubt that this is an excellent cat food, and I was excited to be feeding my cat something with quality ingredients that was grain free. But for some reason, my kitty is the rare one who this didn't work for. He has been eating this for about 6 weeks now, and while I expected that there might be a period of transition, my cat has been unable to adjust well. He eats this food happily enough, but he has been plagued with gas and soft bowels/diarrhea. I adore my sweet kitty boy, but his hygiene is not always the best, and how to say this delicately??? ...well, let's just say his tail is sometimes like paint brush, if you get my drift and he has left paintings on the pillow cases, paintings on the sofa, etc.I am reluctantly going back to his old food. :-(5/31/13: Updated to add that the diarrhea stopped immediately after switching back to his old food (Royal Canin Calorie Control -- prescribed by a veterinarian as he needs to watch his feline physique). Unfortunately, it contains grain and other ingredients that I wish weren't in there, but he doesn't have a problem with it.

I wanted this to be a great cat litter, but was shocked when I introduced it to my cat...
May 31, 2017
My husband is allergic to many litters, so I was looking for a low dust and low odor litter that would not irritate his allergies. I thought this might be the solution, being that it is a natural product. He was coming back from a business trip, so I decided to try this one out the evening before he returned (my kitten has no litter attachment issues). I had stored it in a sealed container in the garage, as I heard that it could attract mice/rats.Late in the evening, I cleaned out the litter box and emptied a bag of this new corn based litter in the box. I did notice a lot of dust, but it seemed not to be airborne but rather like cornmeal that settled to the bottom. I brought it into the house and kitty came to investigate. She smelled around the box then stepped in and proceeded to EAT THE LITTER! Well crap, I thought, what do I do now. I added a little febreeze litter that I had left over from our experimenting, thinking the smell would relate her back to the fact that it was a litter box. Nope, the just dug a nice little hole like she was going to use the potty and instead she ATE THE LITTER under the febreeze layer! So, at 8:50pm I tore down the street to the closest Petsmart, slid in the doors before they could lock them, and purchased the Precious Cat Litter (clay) that I had used before. On the up side, my kitten showed no signs of illness after eating the litter...and I was able to dump the bag out in the yard for the deer to eat happily.
No odor control, and it smells like something is rotten in it after less than 1 week of use, with 1 cat.
April 27, 2017
After using this product for 1 week, with 1 cat, 2 litter boxes, scooping both twice a day, my cat is VERY reluctant to step into either litter box now. I can't say that I blame him. I just got done scooping both boxes again, and with every clump removed, both boxes smell TERRIBLE. Not just the normal smell of cat urine and feces, but something smells rotten now, and its starting to stink up my whole apartment. I'm pretty sure my cat is reluctant to use the boxes now because of that horrible odor. So much for this "natural" garbage. I NEVER had these problems using clay litter. The rotten smell is so bad now, I'm afraid its going to make my cat, my other animals, and me sick. I paid way too much for this, still have half a bag left...but I'm throwing all of it away tomorrow. So glad I subscribed to have this awful garbage delivered...now I get to make ANOTHER trip to the grocery store. Will never buy again! Again...I have 1 cat, 2 boxes, scoop both twice a day, and I'm not even quite through the first week of using this.
World's WORST cat litter
December 1, 2016
World's WORST cat litter. I have had cats all of my life and I have never had litter that is so terrible with oder control. The box is even inside an enclosed "house" and my entire apartment reeks of pee. The only positives about it, are that it does clump decently and there is less tracking, but I vacuum everyday anyway, so I much rather have litter on the ground than my house smelling like a litter box. Such a disappointment and incorrect name for this litter.
Don't buy this litter! I love it. My cats don't use it.
August 24, 2016
UPDATE: Another week has passed and I am having serious trouble with this litter. As for myself I love it it's so easy to scoop out it's as if the litterbox was coated with Teflon however , The cats just don't seem to like it and I think it's the texture ...it's quite different. Maybe if you started your cats out with that as kittens it would work. These 7-year-old rescue cats don't like it they want the Clay and I'm going back to precious cat. In fact they disliked it so much they started doing their business in the downstairs bathroom on the floor ! Today I bought a new litter box and put A new bag of the precious litter in it. They seem to be very happy. This is all about what the cats like and moreover what the cats will use. I cannot recommend this at least not for my cats. I waited two weeks to write this review.I have been using precious cat based on the reviews here on Amazon.
Never again
May 17, 2016
The people at my house in charge of litter box maintenance tell me this is by far the worst litter I have ever bought. It covers no smells and it even forced one of our cats to start going on the carpet. Since we dumped it, that cat has started using the litter box again. Never again.
Not Odorless
March 9, 2015
The quotations below are straight from the product description and are the reasons I decided to try this litter (I normally use Fresh Step). Following the quotations are my opinions on the features the company claims. Keep in mind while reading this that I have one cat and clean the pan two (or more) times a day."outstanding odor control" - This litter smells like vomit. I can smell it when I walk through my front door. Granted, my front door is very close to the bathroom where we keep the litter pan, but I never smell the litter pan with Fresh Step. I've tried to power through this bag since I spent money on it, but I can't stand to be in the bathroom anymore. I was excited to get a scent-free odor control litter, but the moment my cat pees in it it smells like vomit."tight clumping ability" "Traps the liquid and limits...sticking to the sides of the box" - No, this is not true. I hate when litter sticks to the sides of the box. Another huge reason I wanted to try this litter. This sticks so much worse than anything I've ever tried."easy to scoop" "keeps the rest of the litter dry" - Once again, not true. When you scoop the clumps of urine, if you even slightly shake it, it starts falling apart. Then you have moist, used litter in the dry clean litter. It's very hard to scoop those chunks that fell through the scoop now that they've broken into small gross pieces.I'm very unhappy with this litter, and I cannot wait to change the pan today.

Beef flavor made cat vomit
July 24, 2017
I've ordered this brand before with no problems. Obviously, it's not the best and healthiest food, but cats seem to like it. This box, though, made me never want to buy it again. If you know how the box is set up, there's usually 8 cans of one flavor at the bottom, 8 of another flavor above that, and then the last flavor on top. I go through the cans from the top to bottom. My cat got through the poultry cans just fine. But when we made it to the beef flavor, things started spiraling. Suddenly she was puking. I almost had to bring her to the vet because she would cry so much before puking and it broke my heart. Then I realized the puking started as soon as I opened the first can of the beef flavor. These flavors never upset her stomach in the past. In fact, I thought it might be wet food in general, but I found a chicken gravy lover can, and she ate it up and keep it down just fine. And I've bought this brand many times in the past. Purina needs to check on this possible recall because it could very well be poisoned. I'm just glad I caught it in a quick manner. These cans were dated March 2019. Has anyone else experienced this before?

On the site it states manufactured in St Louis but when my son received the product, it states made in China. This is misrepresenting. I feel I should be compensated.
Thank you,

Maggots
March 8, 2016
Normally, everything is good. I order this once a month for my cats, however, this time, I am questioning whether or not I will ever order again. At first we noticed a fishy odor before we even opened the box. We emptied our trash cans and searched all over our kitchen for the source of the smell before arriving that it was coming from the amazon box. We opened the amazon box and quickly found the source, the fancy feast box. It was slightly dented. We were appalled to open it to discover the cans damaged and with maggots in it! I am so disgusted and disappointed in amazon for selling me this product! This is unacceptable.
Causes Stinky Breath and contains nitrates
January 18, 2016
Makes my cats breath very stinky. As soon as we switched back to more expensive food from Petco, his breath is good and the fur doesnt smell as he is not cleaning himself with that odor anymore. Besides, I should have checked for Nitrates and this food is full of them.

Great quality ingredients but recipe causes urinary problems in cats
December 19, 2016
Three cats in our family developed struvite crystals in their bladders after about 6 months of eating a mix of this kibble and wet canned food. We switched natures variety instinct grain free kibble and so far so good. The fact that my cats never had issues before eating Blue buffalo, and haven't had any since they stopped, says a lot. Use at your own peril

Can cause vomiting & diarrhea!!!
October 28, 2016
One of my cats gets violently ill after eating this food. She will vomit the contents of her stomach and then continue with bile afterwards and also has diarrhea. I am not sure what it is in this food that makes her that sick, but when she only eats wet food, she has no issue. This is the only food I've ever given her to make her so sick. She has lost weight and her fur coat isn't as thick as it usually is. This food is absolute trash and the rest will be going into the trash as well.
