Amazing!
June 9, 2017
Easy to put up and take down, it only takes about a minute. My Golden just loves it and I have a bed from Brindle that I put inside it and it fits PERFECTLY! I wanted to use this crate for a month trip out of state and I left it open in my room with her bed in it and she uses it every night and is very comfortable in it. The mesh bone window things actually let in a lot of light and are easy to see out of, although it's hard to see into the crate. I wouldn't suggest this for dogs that chew through everything... but if I put a nylabone in the crate when I put my dog in it, it's perfect. I got a 36" for my English Cream Golden Retriever and she is 22" in height and about 65 lbs. She fits perfectly.
Loved it, until she didn't
January 24, 2017
I really do love this crate. It's cute and my dog went in and loved it. Until she didn't.I had never crated her since we got her at the shelter a few months ago. But I needed to as she was really hard to have in the car. She would sit on my lap while I was driving or she would climb under the seat if I blocked her. She was really scared in the car and this crate seemed to make her feel safe and happy. Then we took a road trip to visit a friend. She did great in the car - just relaxed and comfortable in her crate. So when we went out for a couple hours I thought I would crate her, just to make sure she didn't get into anything. She loved the crate so I thought it would be great. When we got home she had chewed through the sides of the crate. Making the zipper unusable. This is not a problem with the crate but if you have a chewer this may not be the crate for you! It is cute and like I said my pup loved it. Until she didn't.
Excellent carrier for our cat
January 9, 2017
We purchased this pet home as a pet carrier for my daughter's cat when transporting her to and from the vet. We had a standard, hard pet carrier in a slightly smaller size that she absolutely despised so getting her into it was very difficult and she dreaded the entire process. We bought this carrier for the fact that it was a little larger, collapsed down to a flat size and was hopefully less imposing due to its soft makeup. Prior to using it we set it up which was a breeze, literally just folding up the sides and connecting the rods, and put it out for her to explore. The cat was very interested in it and was shortly going in and out freely of her own accord. This never happened with the hard carrier. When we brought her to the vet getting her in was super easy and she seemed much more at ease than she ever did with the other carrier. Obviously this will be a very pet specific thing in regards to their comfort level with a certain product, but for us this is working great. The fact that it has soft fabric construction did have me scared as to her scratching her way through it but so far she seems very comfortable with it so there shouldn't be any issues there. We are very happy with this purchase.
Great pet home - excellent quality - your pet will love it and so will you!
July 5, 2016
Oh, I love this item! It came last week - yesterday I put it together. As soon as my Tasha saw it on the floor she went inside and went to sleep. I have added her poofy dog pad and before we went to bed last night, it was on the couch and again, Tasha was inside sleeping. I had to call her three times before she came into the bedroom and went reluctantly into her regular crate.Very well made! Extremely easy to open and close. We're moving 1,000 miles back to the Midwest at the end of July! This will be perfect for her when we stop for the night and after we get to my friend's house where we'll be staying until the movers finally deliver my furniture and belongings. This was reasonably price, is very durable (the material appears to be canvas). I'm purely delighted I got it - it's roomy (my dog is a Bhchon/Poodle and has a long body but she fits easily with room to spare in this pet home! So glad I found this item - it will last for years.
... this crate for 5 months now and I really like it! It just BARELY fits in the back ...
May 10, 2016
I've had this crate for 5 months now and I really like it! It just BARELY fits in the back of my BMW 335i (4 door). I owned two car hammocks in the past that just covers the seats but they only did a fair job with preventing the dirt and hair from getting on the seats and other parts of the car. After doing more research, I caved in and got this collapsible crate that would contain the dirt and hair a bit better and it has been awesome. Hardly any dirt/hair seeps out of the crate and onto the seats and I have a 65 lb Samoyed that I take to the park on a regular basis. It's super light weight and pretty easy to set up in the car and take down without cranking your back or neck too much. (Yes, if you have a sedan, you have to insert it in the backseat first when it's collapsed before opening it up like a tent.) I also like how there's plenty of vents for my dog. It lays flat in your trunk if you want to store it in there. It has not ripped or deteriorated yet but my dog is also very good and doesn't scratch or try and escape it. Worth the price!
IN LOVE!! But definitely only for well mannered dogs
January 29, 2016
This is a fabric wrap on a steel frame ... It is by no means a kennel. If your dog destroys things, STAY AWAY from this product. It doesn't have anything in it to support the floor like a pan or something and repeated digging could easily rip through the fabric siding, letting the dog out. That being said, I love this product! I have a Yorkie that is very kennel trained and hardly chews on anything and this just fits her perfectly! Its her little cubbly hole in our room or on the go and the fabric floor makes it easy to feel a pudded carpet undneither which makes it comfy to sleep in.If you are looking for a bulletproof, rip-proof, cujo-proof kennel, buy a metal one. But if you have a well mannered, pampered, prissy pooch, this is perfect! Recommended buy!

Perfect fit!
September 28, 2017
I have Closetmaid organizers, the one's that are 24" x 12" x 12", and they're by a window which overlooks a birdhouse, so my cats love to sit there. I had a folded up old blanket on them as a bed, but it looked sloppy, so I thought maybe a proper pet bed existed & luckily, I found these. I ordered 2 of the 22" size in mocha, which is a very light brown beige color. The actual size is 21" x 12" and it fits the top of the organizers (24" x 12") perfectly! Now my cats can lounge more comfortably and it looks a lot nicer to me. The cushion depth is perfect for cats, I can't imagine them ever getting too flattened out from use. The bottom traction dots seem ok, but I know from experience that over time and with laundering they'll probably lose their grippiness.(not sure that is a real word!) Anyway, I am not too worried about ruining the surface of the cheapo organizers and may use some adhesive velco to more firmly hold the beds in place. In the photo I took, I realize the cats can't see out the window on the shorter organizer/shelf just yet, I'm just waiting on my husband to assemble another Closetmaid organizer for me. ;)
Great buy!!!

I'm doing this review to help you pick the right size, specially for big dog owners.I was a little worried about the size I should get. I get the 48" for my 2 Weimaraners (80 pounds female and 92 pounds male). Perfect fit for their size! They love it!
First bed my dog hasn't chewed up!
October 30, 2016
My dog loves this bed. He's a 50 lb american bulldog. This is the first bed (out of many) that he hasn't torn to shreds. It's a nice color and the beddin can be easily taken off and thrown in the washer. I think I will be a larger one when this one wears out or if my dog gets any bigger. So far he doesn't mind the size at all. 😆
The purfect box.
October 9, 2016
Well worth the $$. The box is the perfect size.
Note on washing
February 19, 2016
Just here to let people know that I washed this in the washing machine on the hottest setting and then put it in the dryer on the hottest setting and it came out fine. In case anyone is wondering. It says only wash cold but washing it hot worked for me. I washed it hot because my dog got sick and vet told me to wash all her bedding on the hot setting.
Cozy Cavalier
August 9, 2014
My dog was laying on his new bed before I had fully gotten it out of the box! Instant cozy appeal to my King Charles Cavalier - he knew anything this soft had to be for him.

This was a great little travel kennel for our Brittany Spaniel
September 13, 2017
This was a great little travel kennel for our Brittany Spaniel. When not in use, it folded up and fit perfectly in between our washing machine and the wall for storage. The material was easy to clean and I love the fact that there are two openings- one on the front and one on the top. Despite it being a good sized kennel, it is remarkably light and easy to throw in the trunk of the car and go. This would have easily been 5 stars, had our dog, Roo, not found an untrimmed string on the screen of the front zip up panel. She completely ate most of the screen. I tried to patch it and fix it but it was too mangled. She is still under a year old though, and I would buy another one of these when she is older and not so prone to destroying everything.
So far, so good.
November 16, 2016
I just received this item and have been using it for 4 days. I bought it for travel purposes only, but I'm using it at home so that our puppy gets used to it before we travel. So far so good. It's lightweight, yet sturdy. Our dog seems content when she is inside of it. The only issue is that because she is still in training accidents are a little harder to deal with. If you can, you may want to purchase a tray for the bottom. I use puppy pads but she likes to mess them up. This item can be vulnerable to chewing around the mesh, but she hasn't really done that too much. The size is equivalent to a large crate, which for us is working well. So far I am pleased with this product and would recommend it.
Perfect size, very light, travels easy
October 12, 2016
I love this kennel. It is super light and travels easy. Just one issue I have is that, even though it breathes fairly well, I worry about it being warm, especially if you live in a warmer, humid climate like I do, where even with AC you only get down to 75 indoors at times. My dog tolerates it fairly well though. I wouldn't trust to leave her in it alone during the day, but she sleeps in it zipped at night. In the mornings she'll claw and chew at it sometimes when I am not getting out of bed quick enough for her, but she hasn't caused any holes or real damage. I will probably still get a solid metal one, but this is very sturdy and I'm happy I made the purchase. I bought the 36" for my standard poodle. She's a little on the petite side, so she has more than enough room to stretch out.
Updated, but still one of my best dog purchases!
September 28, 2016
I now own three of these in 24, 32 and 36 inches. They are one of my favorite dog purchases! My dogs happily sleep and hang out in these. We zip them in at night or when we leave them home alone. I really like that I can unzip the top to check on them or cover them with a blanket if it gets cold. They are much cozier, easier on the eyes, and don't feel as bulky as the plastic kennels that we used to use.I love that I can wipe down the inside, spray it out, or even take it apart and wash it in the washing machine as necessary. I have done all of these, but I think that frequent trips through the machine will break down the interior waterproof coating faster. (Since I have dogs with continence issues, I also put a rubber sheet under their bedding to help reduce the need for washing the kennel.)These fold down nicely and are wonderful for travel. We even keep a fleece bolster bed in there when we travel and it folds up fine, just not as flat as it would be without it. My dogs like to lay on top of it too, but I discourage that as I don't want to stretch out the top of the cover. That said, I have set the smallest one on top of the larger one to have a bunk bed configuration when we've been in tight quarters while traveling. Everywhere we go, people ask about our awesome kennels - I'm thinking I should start getting a percentage of the sales I've made. The only possible weakness I have found is the front zipper. We bought one and exchanged it close to the 30 day mark because the zipper didn't run smoothly, and when it didn't "break in", I was worried that it wouldn't hold long term. (Since Amazon is so awesome, that was a simple process and I had the replacement before I had even returned the original.) I try to be gentle when zipping and unzipping, and so far none of them have given me any problems, but I'm not sure that would be the case if I was just yanking the zipper (as my kids are prone to do.) Our various kennels have been in use now between two to ten months.Update: Six months later and the zippers continue to run smoothly. Still loving these kennels!Update: 10/11/17 I love these so much I bought a fourth one last spring so each dog has one upstairs and downstairs. I saved some money on the last one by buying it in “like new” condition from Amazon Warehouse, and I’ve been perfectly happy with it. My oldest crate is now almost two years old. This is our biggest one and sits right next to the couch in the family room. Since it’s close to the fireplace, I sometimes have to shoo off a dog that wants to lie hammock style on top to soak up the warmth, or tell my teenage kids not to rest their legs on top of it while watching TV. I recently realized that one of the top bars was no longer latched. It turns out that the plastic thingy that connects the two bars has cracked. It’s probably repairable with super glue, but I haven’t messed with it because it would likely break again with the excessive weight put on it, and now it just ensures that everyone stays off of it. Despite this, the crate has retained it’s shape and works just fine for us - except it can’t hold weight on top any more. Since this is not the crate we use for travel, it hasn’t affected its functionality for us at all, and we can still zip in our dog when we leave the house. Also, this summer our small dog scratched a hole thru the mesh of his crate while we were traveling. He’s been using these for a year and a half and this was the first time. I assume he was particularly stressed because he hasn’t done it again with his second carrier. Until I figure out how to repair it, he now just uses this one as his bed at home with the mesh rolled up. As a result, I am changing this from five stars to four. However, I still would choose to buy these again to replace the ones that have been damaged as they are priced so well.
I love this brand, and durable product, though I really wish it had a carrying strap
February 15, 2016
I have a smaller version of this carrier (with a strap), and I needed another/extra carrier asap, so I ordered this larger version. To my (not so great) surprise, I realized it has no carrying strap, which I very much need for transporting my animals, but that was my fault that I hadn't looked into this feature on this carrier. Yet, it did say, "Easy to carry" on the box, but after receiving it, I realized that's when it's folded down. They also repeatedly describe it as a 'retreat,' though it's the size which would work perfectly for a carrier. If I had spent more time reading reviews, questions, and zooming in on the pic, I would have noticed that it did not have a carrying strap (yep...I've kicked myself a couple times already). My mind had the vision of my other Petnation carrier which I have had for over 15 years, and it's wonderful, has held up very well, and it does have the straps, as do some larger carriers which I have, therefore, I assumed that it would, and I ordered it right away because I knew it was a great product. I really like the Petnation products, which is why I didn't return it, and I did manage to conjure up a carrier/belt type of contraption, which will work to hang it over my shoulder while I kind of hold it in place while walking. I don't understand why it didn't come with a strap, though? My other Petnation carrier has one, and it is just below the size of this one-not much smaller at all. 5 stars if it had a strap.
Nice transportable kennel.
August 13, 2015
I ordered this because I needed something more portable than a huge airline crate. Kinda disappointed on size but my 70 lb golden retriever seems to love it. If I close the top "sun roof" type thing he isn't able to sit inside of it, only lay down. If there were a next size up I would have ordered it and been a little bit more happy. The siding and the mesh is nice and durable. I haven't had any complaints this far. Super easy to set up and take down!

Nice pad for a crate
August 25, 2017
I'd say this is a good pet bed for a crate or a car seat or something... but as a primary dog bed, I don't think it's enough padding for my dog. Maybe if we had carpeted floors with padding. Just this pad on a bare floor isn't really enough but my dog is on the large side at 50 lbs. I'm going to look for something thicker and keep this as a spare.
Ella loves it! -check update
March 17, 2017
I purchased the 48 inch for my 75-ish pound lab mix. Ella immediately laid down on it and went to sleep. It's a nice size for her. It's not too firm but I like how fluffy it is and I believe it is machine washable so that's a major plus. I am very happy with the quality and I'm definitely happy about the low price. Thank you!Update- Don't wash this!! I've washed it twice and the stuffing goes to the middle and some parts are completely flat because of that. Both of my labradors still sleep on it but I wish it was more durable. Cool that it's cheap tho.
Happy little dog
March 6, 2017
I read a number of reviews that said this went flat immediately. That has not been the case for us. I have a rescue dog who seems to my limited awareness loves things that work for him over and above other dogs. After 8 years in a puppy mill, I tend to spoil Beau and in the last two years that we've been together we seem to communicate. He loves this dog bed. He clearly would prefer to be on the bed and snuggle up than anywhere else. One difference is that I bought a size up. Did that make the difference. He is a very small Bichon and I bought the 22 inch. Lots of room.I took one star because of my concerns about washability. If I am wrong, I will come back and tell you.
Comfy Before It Got Chomped!
September 8, 2016
We picked up this dog bed to go inside our travel crate. Our pup certainly liked it, but she may have liked it a little too much! While it stood up to her teeth for a good while, eventually she ripped it up. We're not really sure why, she hasn't gone after her other dog beds, maybe it reminded her of one of her toys? I can't ding it too bad for that, I would guess most beds wouldn't stand up to extended chewing. It was good while it lasted!
Bit Pricey but My Dog Does Like It
June 1, 2016
I always though dog beds were way overpriced. However, after my puppy got out of the chewing stage, I opted to get him one to put next to my bed at night. He does like it, he actually sleeps on it. I think he enjoys laying on this over the carpet. I'm not sure how much support it really gives, the material compresses pretty easily. But as long as he gets some comfort out of it, it's money well spent. It seems to hold up nicely. He's dragged it across the many of times so he can lay down in the hallway or kitchen on it. I haven't attempted to wash it. He's usually a pretty clean dog and it really doesn't have a bad smell to it. I would think it would hold up ok in a delicate cycle wash though.
Proper beds for Rocco & Jessie
January 26, 2015
Don't make the mistake I made! I have two dogs (a pink one that weighs about 25 lbs. and a blue one that weighs about 55 lbs.) who are not inside dogs, contrary to what they believe. They do come in for cold nights and we have hardwood floors that can become very chilly very quickly. For years and years I've been going to the local thrift shops and buying quilts, blankets, etc. to use as their winter beds. They're cheap and I can throw them away without feeling like I'm wasting money. Last year for Christmas I decided to buy them proper dog beds. Amazon had these beds on the black Friday sale (I don't recall the price) so I bought two. I bought the 29" x 21" for both of them thinking they would be plenty big enough, but not sure since Amazon did not put any information about what size dog each bed size is most suitable for. This size is perfect for my 25 lb. pink one (Mini Australian Shepherd) but not so much for my 55 lb. blue one (Standard Australian Shepherd). He can fit on it but is about a head too long, so now I have to order two more in a larger size. Two because I know my pink one and she will take the bigger bed every time if they're different sizes. As far as the quality, they've been sleeping on the over a month and still have plenty of oomph in them. The gray is great for hiding dirt and hairs. I will update my review as they continue to use them to share how they old up to wear, tear and washings.

Dog got out
May 24, 2017
This is a very nice crate, it's compact for travel and my dogs fit perfectly in it.(2 chihuahuas) Only problem we have had with it is if the dog scratches on the net it rips instantly and they dog can escape. I've replaced the netting with some pet proof screen we used for our doors at home and hot glue which has worked sense and they can't scratch out of it.
Great for Portability
April 24, 2017
This would be a five star review, as this has been wonderfully portable in the car and you can get it in cars that you normally would not be able to fit an equivalently sized crate, however, I took it in the house ONE time, took a shower and in 15 minutes my puppy decimated the back bone mesh 'window' base seam. She did not 'chew' it up, she got one little spot with her nail and the entire seam gave way rendering it virtually unusable as crate. It was 45 days old. Me being me, I blocked the backside and still use it in the truck, but if my puppy wasn't so good, she would escape. The fabric and mesh itself is of excellent quality and has no holes after 6 months, but the construction gave way. The zipper also has a double zipper, but is either not intended to zip both ways or mine was defective, because I could only zip in one direction. The zipper does get wrinkles in it because of the curve, but it works well. These do get a little warmer because of the lesser air flow, so be aware in warmer weather. My puppy loved the darker cave-like feel and settled right down. I actually crate trained her with this in the truck (my dog goes everywhere with me), and had no issues with her chewing or scratching or damaging the crate in any way. It's also better than a plastic floored crate because they don't slide around when driving. Riding in a car on those hard plastic bases is to a dog what an ice rink is to a human...
... this for my German shorthaired pointer and it was easy to set up
April 5, 2016
We bought this for my German shorthaired pointer and it was easy to set up, and she loved being in it inside the house. I guess it makes her feel safe. But we put it in the back of the truck and her in it for a 2 hour drive and she wasn't happy. Her nails were groomed but she managed to tear it at the seams. It's still holding up but definitely use for indoor use ONLY.
Great idea....
October 29, 2015
We have a 24" plastic dog carrier that is cracking so I bought this one for ease of travel. Unfortunately, it last 2 weeks before our dog (who is not a chewer or digger) ended up with her head through the front mesh. Boo! There are any pros to this product but unfortunately, it didn't last long.Pros:1) ample size. This 24" unit has a much roomier interior than our other plastic carrier.2) folds flat for easy transport in the car.3) mesh sides and front allow for easy viewing of pup and lots of air flow. Also was easy to teach our dog to go in and out without front mesh door rolled up (like a flap door).4) easy zip front doorCons:1) mesh can easily rip or tear. Pup made holes within the first couple days of use. Two weeks after first use, heard noises, went to check on her and her head was sticking through a hole in the front mesh door!2) if zipper is not locked, dog can escape. Our dog escaped in the first couple days. No further issues after locking with the clasp on the zipper.I really wanted this to work for us but I'm not sure if there is a good fix for the holes. My guess is it would be a constant battle of repair and holes.
Not a good choice for insistent scratchers or chewers
August 20, 2015
Our oldest daughter has this crate for her 70+ pound golden retriever and it works well. So I bought 2 for my other daughters 5 year old 20# cockapoos. When they were crated for 6 hours, the one cockapoo scratched his way out and ripped his door. Then he somehow helped his brother move the zipper and jailbreak from his crate too. Unfortuntely, the crates were only used for a week when this happened.
Not for us.
May 31, 2014
We brought home a medium-sized rescue dog, likely a Polish sheepdog but unclear, likely two years old but unclear, less than a week ago and thought this would be perfect for him. He is a very calm dog, far calmer than others I've had. I probably bought the crate too large because I felt bad about a small area (lesson learned). The first time we put him in it he was fine, and he did well for about an hour. The second time that night he scratched at the door until the zipper opened enough for him to get out. The third time he got the zipper open, tore a large hole into the fabric near the zipper, and busted up the zipper enough that it no longer zips. Perhaps it was my fault to put him into a crate too large for him, though I can't be sure, and even still I'd expect it to last through these issues since mine can't be the only dog who tries to get out. (And he had only been in the crate for about an hour each time.) It's very nice-looking with a sturdy frame and would work well for those with dogs who are already used to being crated, I think, which is why I give it three stars.

Dog loved to pull out the stuffing
September 26, 2017
It was a good mat while it lasted. I don't know if it had to do with the stuffing or just my dog. But, after a month of sleeping on this, he started chewing on it and pulling out the stuffing. For a while I would put the stuffing back in. After a couple months of that, I gave up on this one and got him a different brand. It's been 6 months with the new mat and he hasn't chewed on it yet.

September 23, 2017
Very soft material, thin bed good as a pad on the floor or in a kennel. NOT very thick or firm, so maybe not good for an older dog. Also it slides around on the wood floor. I ordered the 36" bed. Measurements turned out to be 23"x38". Unfortunately, my dog seems to think it's a toy and won't lay on it. He just balls it up and chews on it.
Ok bed, but keep your options open.
April 21, 2017
Good durable pet bed and definitely as described, but It would've been better if the would have a zipper so it could but re-stuffed after it looses shape. If the bed needs washing you have to place the entire bed in the washer as well. It is a budget friendly pet bed, but if you would like more out a bed that hopefully your dog would love....keep you options open.
Looks great, but not great for chewers
April 18, 2017
It was very soft and lovely. But my puppy annihilated it within a day. I was hoping it would last longer, but he is just a demon that only seems to love chewing his bedding. If your dog isn't a chewer, this is a really great bed. But if he is an aggressive chewer like my giant monster puppy, then I recommend getting something a little more durable, like the Kevlar or West Paw dog beds.
When I first got this it was nice and fluffy

I bought this for my elderly dog because he was having trouble getting up and down from the couch. When I first got this it was nice and fluffy. I have a German Shephard and it was the perfect size for him. I have had this for a couple months now and it has gone really flat, it's like a thick rug now. At least he doesn't have to lay on the hard wood floor. I'm a little disappointed it went flat so fast.
One Out of the Three is Flat
December 30, 2014
I've bought three of these. Two last year and one this year. All three different sizes. The first two worked out fine. My Jack Russell Terrier loves hers. She's slept on it for a year now and she sleeps on it today. As far as I know, the other bed has held up too. I got it for my Miniature Pincher but she decided she wanted to go to the bathroom on it, so before she soiled it up too badly I gave it to my mother for her dogs to use. The latest bed is the one I have a problem with. I bought it for my 50-ish pound American Staffordshire Terrier. I thought it'd be a great bed for him. He's a dog that likes a lot of comfort. And as far as he's concerned, I do think that he likes it. The problem I have with the bed is that it's going flat. I bought it on December 7th and it's now December 30th. I never would have expected a bed to flatten out so quickly. The middle of it where he lays the most barely has any cushion left (as you can see in the picture). If I didn't have an older bed underneath, I don't know that it'd be very comfortable for him.Now I'm not really sure what to think about this. My other two beds haven't gone flat. Is it because he's a bigger dog and weighs more? Maybe. The bed itself is very soft, with a medium amount of cushion. It has little grippers on the bottom, so not to slide on hardwood or tiled flooring. I liked the beds I got last year, but because of what happened with the one this year, I have to knock off a couple of stars. It doesn't seem like the bed holds up very long for a big dog that sleeps on it daily.

Absolutely not for puppies
July 19, 2017
Really loved the portability, the light weight, and the look. Assembled and disassembled easily. That's where the "good" ends. I want to give this at least three stars but we only got three uses out of it. Maybe if it made it to four uses I could have gone there...We had this for three nights. The second day the puppy was in there for about two hours when she managed to separate the zippers and went on a mini terror spree. Picked up some D-ring clips and secured the zippers... problem solved!Well, not really. The third day she clawed her way through the screen and went about her reign of terror. Now we have a crate that needs to be thrown away after only three uses. I can't recommend this for puppies. Maybe it's ok for older dogs. I won't be buying another one.
my yorkie loved it.
June 8, 2017
I had one of these carriers for 6 years until my yorkie finally threw a fit and chewed up the zipper (it's incredibly durable! it survived 6 years of intense use, camping, and travel; my yorkie loved it...idk what made her finally chew on it but that's not the point). The new one has two 'male' sides of velcro so I can't roll up the door :(. AWFUL QUALITY CONTROL. I'm worried if I request a replacement I'll just get another defect item. I'm so disappointed because I have a trip coming up and I guess I'll have to hand sew on some velcro to be able to use this. Boo hiss.
OK but fabric failed in 10 months would not buy again
October 23, 2016
Bought the 32" for our 38 pound female border collie. The crate is bigger than she needs except the next smallest size is too low for her to enter without having to crouch. Easy to set up and take down and the dog likes the "moon roof". My only complaint is after about 10 months of use the whole bottom side has ripped from front to back. The Dog did not do this and still respects the crate without trying to escape although the rip is now large enough that she could easily tear it the rest of the way to get out. The problem is the material for the floor is of low quality and quickly failed. Now shopping for a new crate and notice other brands have a door on the side as well as the end perhaps enabling a larger dog to enter a smaller crate and more flexible when using a car.
Mesh is NOT resilient
April 18, 2015
I actually didn't learn my lesson and bought this bed twice. I love the look. I love that it is collapsible. I love that you can unzip the front and the top. I love the canvas. I love the straps and handle. I hate the mesh. The first one was torn apart by 2 foster puppies that were in it for about 20 minutes on a drive home. They were not monsters and didn't tear up anything else during my few weeks with them, but they managed to take the front mesh flap off this thing. I tried to repair it, but eventually gave up. I bought it again for my 8 year old 5lb poodle as a travel carrier when he stays the night with friends when I'm out of town. He can unzip the front flap from the inside making it completely useless as a crate. The zipper has wide teeth and is plastic so it is easy to unzip. They know this so there is a clip there to hold the zipper, but then he ended up getting through the mesh in a day as well. It is a bummer because I really wanted this one to work.
Price is right..you get what you pay for
June 23, 2014
I've had other kennels like this and was surprised to see one at this price point. I use these in a small airplane so that dogs can ride comfortable and they stay "in place". Our new rescue dog had other ideas and busted out of it within an hour. I started looking at it carefully as compared to my other one and it because obvious, the zippers are lighter weight as is the fabric. This may work fine for a calm dog, but our dog is half lab and half cattle dog, she is powerful and this was an easy jailbreak for her.
Tears easily

I recently adopted a new dog from a shelter - a 2 year old 50 lb wire haired Terrier mix. He is sooo cute and well behaved too. The shelter crate trained him (in a steel crate)for over a year. He seemed happy to call this new comfortable fabric crate his own. I know, I'm anthropomorphizing but it is very stylish a cozy looking. I only crated him for a few hours a day. However, I was worried he would be able to break out - especially when my slightly crazy cat pranced in front of him while he was on the inside. Sure enough, after a month he had enough and he slowly worked his teeth through the fabric near the zipper. He smartly tore a lateral hole through the bottom part of the zipper where it meets the fabric. Freeeeedom! He escaped and almost caught my surprised but ninja like cat. It was something right out of King Kong. It is now unusable as a crate. Its serves as a inside the home dog house. It would only seem logical for the manufacturer to use material that is somewhat tear resistant, no? After all this crate is made to hold dogs (descendants of wolves) who possess fangs and sharp claws. Since I have had this crate for a couple of months I can no longer return it. I guess I should of bought a ugly steel crate.

Great bed when it comes in, however it is not durable at all. After my dog started using it started to loose its fluff and shape. Also the tag is not pet friendly. My dog kept going after the tag on the bed. I would suggest it completely sown on. After I tried to hand wash it when my dog had an accident on it, it completely lost its fluff. Needless to say I was not happy with this purchase.

A winner! Arrived. Put in favorite sleeping place. Chihuahua climbed on.Instantly went to sleep. He loves soft things, hope it holds up with his nails. He's a nester. Perfect size for 12 lb dog. He's "chunky" .UPDATE;MY CONCERNS ABOUT NAILS SHREDDING WERE CORRECT. I HAVE BITS OF COVER LITTERING FLOOR. IT'S BECOMING A DAILY CLEAN UP.DO NOT RECOMMEND. LOOKING FOR NEW BED.
Not much of a bed.
May 25, 2017
This bed is SO thin. For $35 I expected it to have a little cush to it but my dog on the large size bed is not much better than laying on a blanket. The material seems super thin, but is very soft.
My bully gave it a thumbs down
April 22, 2017
The price was great but I wouldnt purchase again. It is only one sided, meaning you cant flip it over, and in two days it was completely flat and my English Bulldog went back to the rug for more cushion. I ended up buying mats for underneath because it went thin and flat so fast. Love the material, too bad its so poorly made.
Cheap purchase
March 3, 2017
look at the photo - is the dog's weight putting the bed and dog down onto the floor?! Well the one I received is so badly made (true you get what you paid for) that the towel I had used for the dog had more cushioning!I did not return it because of the added 'work' to do so.Live and learn - not all photos are true either.
Why does this suck so much and cost so much?
January 13, 2017
I don't know if I just got a fluke product or what, but the one I received looks nothing like the one people are posting in pictures! It basically has no volume or padding to it. I can't believe they're charging $50 for this. You can go to Costco and get a nice sturdy dog bed that is way more substantial for literally half the cost.If I hadn't spent so much on it I would've just thrown it out, but I didn't want to have thrown that money out for nothing so I put this in my car for my dogs to lay on. It offers such little support that more often than not they don't even bother laying on it.

June 24, 2017
I really wanted to like this product but it only took <2 hours for my dog to tear through the front mesh. He's never been an aggressive scratcher, so I was very disappointed to have the petsitter come by the first day and have the brand new crate already broken. Very disappointed with this purchase.
Easy to escape!
June 10, 2017
I have two Boxers and a French Bulldog that are all crate trained and do very well in their crate. The mesh on the front of these is just not very tough as all three of them easily ripped it. The Bulldog was first and then the boxers followed. I would not recommend these to anyone with a dog that may push on the netting. On a positive note - these are nice looking, light weight, and super easy to setup. If the manufacturer can make them a bit stronger in the front door area they could be great.
Not built like they used to be
March 23, 2017
Second crate we have had. The first we ended up selling when our dog preferred not to use it any longer. After six years, it was still in like new condition, other than a few stray hairs. Recently, we purchased another for a 2 year old rescue that was crate trained. No more a chewer than the last, just soft toys, I thought this would be a perfect crate with the soft sides. I hate the clang of the metal sides on the wire crates.Unfortunately, the new crates are not as well built as earlier models, no doubt in order to squeeze a few more pennies from each unit. The new ones have lighter weight jacket zippers, and the front netting is stretched way tighter. FIrst time in, the dog managed to collapse the spring-loaded top braces, but we were able to duct tape it to prevent that issue. Then my slightly anxious Corgi took a single nip at the zipper, and the entire bottom of the screen tore open, the zipper ripped in two, and the crate is no longer useable. There is no warranty; apparently it was user-caused damage (I admit, the dog nipped at it, but the crate should stand up to things that dogs do). The replacement cover is $28 + S&H. I've used it twice. No way I would invest more money in a flawed product.
Not recommended for a puppy that is teething
January 6, 2017
Not recommended for a puppy that is teething. He chewed himself out of it & totally destroyed this product in 1 day. Ended up having to replace with a metal cage, that I have now had for 6 weeks as long as their is a double latch on it, he has not been able to chew out of this one as of yet. Wish I had known this before I bought it. I thought it would be easier to transport him to the vet's in this as I don't want him chewing up my car seats.
Update!
October 27, 2015
I have bought three of these. I like that they are fabric and are easily stored and transported, but I wish the screen was a bit sturdier. My smaller dog shredded hers within a day and the larger dog has 'scratched' a hole in it after a few days. UPDATE: there are two zippers and the dog has managed to scratch both of them off. Fortunately I was able to put them back on. Please put a better quality netting/screen on this crate.
Nigh Impossible to Assemble!
January 23, 2014
The GoodIt is very lightweight, easy to clean, and sturdy. I think It's a little deep for our pug, but it should work out ok.The BadThe zippers catch frequently, as though the canvas is pulled too tight, and my 1 yr old daughter won't stop playing with it, lolThe UGLYNow i did get it put together, but dear god! I never want to have to take it apart for fear of not getting up again. Let me clarify this by first stating that I am a 30 year old male, with good upper body strength (I'm 6'2" 240# & a massage therapist - I work intensely with my hands). That said, I could BARELY get the two support bars, that hold the structure erect, together. There is no way I could see the average person assembling this thing with anything resembling ease.I would have just knocked off one star for this, but it was so incredibly frustrating that I took two off for this and the zippers.UPDATE: The mesh is terribly weak. My dog (<18# pug) got excited to get out and barely nicked the mesh, I watched it tear from side to side and it tore halfway across in another spot about an inch higher. There is also a decent sized hole in the back upper corner. Simply put, they need better material to hold this together. Can I put 0 stars?

Cheap...
October 15, 2017
Very cheaply made! I know it's only a $20 bed but it should last longer then 10 minutes. The dog tried to pull off the tag and the whole bed rips! It is soft but too cheap. I can't see it withstanding a wash...
the stuffing smelled like cat pee
May 5, 2017
eh this lasted for about 2 minutes in my dogs kennel. hes never destroyed anything before so i checked it out, the stuffing smelled like cat pee. i wouldn't recommend getting this honestly. im not sure if it was a fluke but i was a little disappointed
PIECE OF JUNK!!
April 28, 2017
Bought this bed roughly two months ago, and I just tried to wash it for the first time. I used gentle cycle. Nevertheless, when I pulled it out of the washing machine, I immediately noticed split seams in several spots. So the bed is now useless. VERY POOR QUALITY product. Do not make the mistake I made in buying this piece of junk!!

This Bed Went Flat After ONE Month!
April 26, 2017
I purchased this bed for my 60 lb senior dog last month and it has gone completely flat! The picture makes the bed look very thick and cushioned when in reality it isn't. We bought him this new bed so he wouldn't sleep on our new couch but we started noticing black hair everywhere. Therefore, the bed was completely useless. I can't blame the dog since he's old and needs something soft to sleep on. I could tell he was in pain from sleeping on the thin bed so I finally threw it away. I went to store and spent $15 more for a 5'' thick foam bed.If you have a young dog that just needs any bed, I'm sure this would work fine on carpet.
