I bought this thing years ago and it is still working. After about the first 3-5 years the key started sticking and I was afraid it would stop unlocking while on my steering wheel but then I sprayed a bit of WD40 in the key hole and it has worked fine for years since. I'm surprised it has lasted as many years as it has. When mine starts to fail I will buy this same one to replace it.

this is much better that the reviews, it doesn't stink, it's not sticky, and the keys are metal. maybe they upgraded, i love it works as advertised

Bought a new Toyota Camry SE...Already had low jack but to activate costs around 700.00 dollars and still doesn't prevent it from being stolen...so i saw this newer version of the club stronger with laser cut keys...i've used the older version on my old Toyota pickup and it has worked out ok but this is the newer improved version...so i thought I'd give it a try...so easy especially for a woman that doesn't want anything complicated..just slide across the steering wheel and it locks automatically....couldn't be any easier...Go for it!!! You wont be disappointed....I went with the chrome version...Nice..

Some piece of garbage tried to steal my Suburban late at night so the Police recommended I purchase this to help protect myself. So far my Suburban is still in the driveway!

Haven't had my car stolen in the 1/2 year I've had this. Securing and unsecuring the device has become an autonomic response. Super easy. Except the one time I whacked myself with it as I tried to grab my coffee cup when I dropped it. It really hurt and I didn't succeed in saving my coffee. That was a bad day. Anyway, feels solid.

I had the Ultra Club for over 20 years until one of the keys became stripped and no longer worked. The Club 1100 LX is the current replacement. It is an outstanding deterrent and works perfectly. The greatest testament is that I replaced the Club model that I had with the current version. I highly recommend The Club.

My car was stolen twice and returned so I got the club and thought I would give this a try. It works great. It is easy to get on and off. I would not put it on if you were running errands but after you park for the day definitely. I definitely think it deters anyone from try to take the car and its very visible.

Who needs The Club when you have a super light locking device like this….really awesome and east to use

Fits around the steering wheel although it moves a bit. But, it does prevent the wheel from being turned. Nice visual deterrent against car theft. Looks and feels sturdy enough. Thinking of buying a pair for my parents' car.

I Live in deprived neighborhood Anti Thief Lock and kept my Van safe . I'm a 100% Disabled Vet and I rely on My handicapped equipped Van as my lifeline

Hefty construction and sensible design. For a universal fit bar, it fits our 2005 Dodge Ram well.

I can't really give this 5 stars, mostly because I can't say for sure if it works. It is super heavy duty, and probably just having it in my car would deter a thief. But short of having someone actually trying to steal my car I can't say with certainty.I can say that it looks very nice, the color is pretty, and it is much nicer quality than the standard Club I had previously. I've also not had the stickiness problem of my last Club.Overall, as much as I didn't want to pay $50 for it, it seems like a solid investment if you live or work in an area with a lot of crime.

Solid tool as with the others in this product line. I like the key "technology". Easy to attach and lock-up. No problem getting undone.

While a pro can steal anything they want, hopefully this will prevent an amateur from even making an attempt. It goes on and off easily.

Good lock, the steel rod could have been heavier

Bought this after an attempted break in resulted in a shattered window. Figured that this would at least deter visually from any further attempts on my trusty little car. Remember my parents having these on cars in the past, they must be working if they are still around :) Gotta love the red color!

Just received, so far it works well on my Cadillac CTS-V, high visibility and imposing to passing thieves. Easy to attach and store between passenger seat and console or on floor behind seat. Purchased as an additional visual deterrent to frustrate thieves, vehicle comes equipped with alarm and anti-theft systems. I just do not want some thief to break in only to find a six speed manual transmission they are unable to operate and leave things all busted up,

I won't if this works until someone tries to steal my SUV. Until that time, which I hope never comes, The Club should deter a thief because of the time needed to remove it or cut the steering wheel.What I know so far:(1) The unit weighs more than others listed on Amazon, and has a larger diameter than others I looked at locally.(2) The plastic coating was covered with an oily substance, and it reeked. It was easily removed using two household wipes.(3) Each of the three keys with it work.(4) The directions are well written and easy to follow.(5) No problems putting it on, or removing it from the steering wheel.(6) Registration requires that you cut out a form from the instruction sheet, complete it, and mail it with a sales receipt.Minus one star for the bad smelling oil, which is not explained in the directions. Minus a second star for no online registration. I'll update this review if I learn the reason for the smelly oil substance or see anything adverse.12/3/2014 - it can be installed to the back of the steering wheel so it's not resting on top of the air bag. This positions the lock away from you, but it's still easy to unlock and lessens the chance of damaging the center of the steering wheel.

It wasn't blue, it was chrome. that's OK but when I order something I expect to get what I ordered.

Got to have a thick grip steering wheel for this to work..Not good for classic cars with original steering wheels

This item was to light for me. It's not the same type of material that was use when I purchase one last year.

Does not secures the steering wheel properly, at least for a Jeep Wrangler not a good product.

OK, but you can not have a steering wheel cover for this to work. With a cover the device can easily rotate around the the steering wheel making it useless as a anti-theft device.

Too clumsy to operate and heavy. I've never used it once but will in case of roadtrips.

CLUB OK. like key to be coated with rubber like it used to be years ago.

It does not fit well in my Titan Nissan.

The vinyl chemicals actually reacted with my steering wheel. There are actually marks on my steering wheel because the coating came off. This is from the first time I put it on! I can't seem to remove the residue... I wrapped it with tape to prevent further reaction. Such a drag...On the bright side, my car is not stolen yet.

I've bought 2 of these clubs in the last several years when they were on sale. I still don't understand how it stops someone from driving, but for $30 it gives me a little peace of mind. I would not pay more. The first one failed after 3 years. One day the lock mechanism just broke. The second one has worked fine for about 4 years now, cross my fingers.But the warranty and their "guarantee" are a joke.Their product warranty is only 90 days, that doesn't speak highly of the quality.Their "guarantee" is: if your car is stolen with the club attached within 12 months, they will pay your insurance deductible if you have a claim. But ONLY within 12 months of purchase. After 12 months, if your car is stolen they won't cover you.So if you can get one on sale or with a rebate, it's worth it for peace of mind. But if you can buy a better one for the same price, with a better warranty and insurance guarantee, I would get a different brand.

Very dissapointed in the red color which is actually washed out orange. Also dont like that when locked and not on my steering wheel the Club continues to slide apart. None of my other clubs come Prt when locked and not on the steering wheel.

I bought this Steering Wheel Lock because after 5 years of use my older Club 1000 doesn't work anymore and I expect that the newer model have to be better than the older one because the price is around $20,- higher than my Club 1000 (my fault).I dont now what the manufacture is doing wrong, but the red coating is sticky like glue!Even after cleaning the Lock with gentle soap and glass cleaner, the coating is still sticky.Shame on me I cut the packaging in half and put it in the trash container before I checked the steering wheel lock, so I cant send it back.So I removed the sticky stuff wit a knife and use ist without the protection coating, maybe I will buy shrink tubing for the shafts of the Lock to protect my steering wheel.Don't by this product!!!

I feel more secure about my car since I bought it. However, is a little heavy to be resting on top of the wheel's air bag.

It would have been nice that the consumer is informed before purchasing this lock, that it contains cancer birth defect causing material (California Prop 65). I have a little baby and don't want to take any risk. I am very surprised and also disappointed by the manufacturer and Amazon that this is not mentioned anywhere, but I have to deal with returning this lock and order another brand!

I bought this item because thief had a key to my car. Thief came back and removed and took this device. Thankfully he was not able to take the car.

out of the box and key jams. material don't seem real steal...coated plastic from what I see, except the rubber coated shaft. wasted time.

Did not fit my older steering wheel (old Caprise Classic).

Didn't attach to the wheel properly

DO NOT BUY! The lock is only glued in to the holding. It fell out after two weeks in our case, but even if it does not a thief can easily unlock it! This steering wheel lock only provides visual security!

The lock can be picked by a BIC pen. Locking mechanism also easily broke and won't relock anymore.
