36" Perfect for rapidly growing Lab pup!
September 20, 2017
I have a 15 week old Lab, about 20 lbs at the moment. This 36" kennel is perfect. It is much larger than she needs right now but it has a divider so it can grow with her. I sure didn't want to buy several kennels to accommodate her rapid growth!I also have a 36" travel crate (the plastic kind for on airplane), and this Amazon kennel provides a lot more room since it's square, not rounded. It is very sturdy and the doors double lock. The locks are easy to use but require you flip it up and then slide, so it would be pretty hard for a dog to jiggle it open. If you have an exceptionally gifted escape artist you can reinforce the gates with a caribiner or two. There is a handle you can attach to the top but at the 36" size I can't imagine trying to carry this by the handle with a dog inside.I also have a smaller kennel in the same style from the Midwest company which was nearly twice the price of Amazon's, and Amazon's is as good or better.
So far so good
June 8, 2017
The crate is very easy to setup, takes less than 2 minutes. The sides of it came a little bent, but I'm thinking that's because of a soft packing and bad handling. In all, my 51lbs Golden fits in perfectly. She has enough room to move, to stand, to sit, and to lay down widely. I bought the 42in long crate and she's 38in long when laying flat, from curved tail to front paws. She was not a fan of the plastic tray as it's a little flimsy, making her scared of noises it made when walking on it. However, that is easily fixed with putting some cushion (bed, mat, etc) on top of it. I made sure to give her the whole day to get accostumed to it and placed her toys inside so she knew it was hers from the get-go. At night, she barked a few times (trying to get some attention), but went on sleeping peacefully in it for the rest of the night.Very pleased with this product. AmazonBasics again giving me what I want at a fraction of he cost.
All 3 Fit!!!
September 27, 2016
I have a Pomeranian, Maltese and a Shih Tzu. I ordered the 30" double door crate. I was so surprised on how spacious it was. All 3 of the little ones fit in there just fine. They love their new room :). Very happy with this purchase!
36" for a 60 lb 10 month old Labrador
September 20, 2016
WHAT SIZE FOR WHAT SIZE DOG?? If you're like me, and wondering which size to get for your little guy, read here. I was scrolling up and down reading reviews because I didn't know which size to get. I would see pictures of Labradors in the kennel but no one would say which size they got. FOR THOSE WITH LABS OR DOGS SIMILAR IN SIZE TO LABS: I got a 36" and he is a little cramped and has to bend when he stands and sits but we got this kennel for night time. This is is upstairs kennel that he only sleeps in. It is perfect for that. He has room to lay out and relax. The only thing is I wish it was a little taller for him, but like I said we got this for sleeping. If you want the kennel for long periods, like when you're at work, I would recommend the next size up. We didn't need that big of one so we went with the 36". Took me under 5 minutes to remove from the box and put together. Instructions are not needed. My dog was excited to get inside becfore I even finished putting it together! And if anyone is curious on the Mizzou bottom and has a dog that likes to chew up pads, I just wrapped a blanket around the bottom tray! It works perfectly! I really hope this helps out those not know what size to get because I had a hard time but I am VERY satisfied with my choice! Please let me know if I helped you out.
Amazing deal!
June 8, 2016
Wow, these same size kennels sell for over $100 at the big box pet stores. I was kind of expecting the quality to be terrible because it was so cheap, but it's almost the same quality as the more expensive kennels I have.

It's built quite well, my second dog dragged his bed on top of this crate so he can bunk with his brother and look out the window.

Great cage! No sharp edges! (People mentioned, I don't have)
February 14, 2017
Nice cage! Don't know what else it needs! Works well, has a divider, two doors, I like the flip up lock thing over the other locking mechanisms I found on other crates. If they were to add a liner of some sort or a topper to limit light on one or two sides that would be cool :)
Room for two!!
January 17, 2017
My siberian husky can stretch himself there. He even enjoy been in the cage. My son too...😂😂😂. When Max does not want to sleep, my son, he is 5"8, keep him company. Can you believe that!!
Huge Crate
October 1, 2016
I bought this for a destructive standard dachshund (32 lbs) who likes to eat furniture when you leave her alone. This is big enough to allow her room to move and stand up. Sturdy construction and I love the two door options. It is big enough to fit 2 teenagers and an adult male, though they can figure out how to undo the latch and escape. Not so much for the dog. Highly recommend.
Very large crate, easy to set up, and is sturdy
March 12, 2016
Very large crate, easy to set up, and is sturdy. I bought these for my great pyrenees (1 year old) and Alaskan malamute (4 years old), who we where going to start crate training. I add a picture so you can see how they fit. My Alaskan Malamute is about 150 lbs so as you can see this is a large create and he has plenty of room.Simply unfold the crate and lock the bars in place. This has been a great crate for them and I would buy it again.
Great for road trip with cat.
June 28, 2015
I purchased this cage to take our 8 lb., 2 y-o cat on a 8-hour road trip. The size was perfect to fit into the back door of the sedan we rented. (I have another cage that's a few inches taller and wider, but I couldn't get that one in through the back seat door of our personal car.) I was so happy to find this one at a reasonably low price. I took the partition piece and created a second level on the side with the smaller door (added a box with cushioning for her to lay on). This allowed me to put her litter on the opposite end since she needs the entire height to use her litter. Under the "second" level I placed her food and water on opposite sides (secured both using twist ties). The space wasn't the biggest because in order to get to the second level she had to step inside her litter, but the cage provided everything she needed for her first road trip, and more importantly our precious Evie was secure for the trip.Side note: if using for the same purpose, I encourage you to purchase a few weeks before your road trip and let your pet get used to the cage. I fed Evie in it every day and kept the doors open. I'd play with her by tossing her toys inside, and gradually got her used to me closing the doors while she was inside and making a game of opening them. By the time we were ready for our road trip she wasn't freaked out about being locked inside the cage. She was a little nervous (even though I'd been feeding her Composure treats starting a week before our trip as her vet recommended), but I think her nervousness was more from being outside her normal home environment. During our stay in our daughter's home, I kept the cage door open at all times and would find Evie inside every so often (even though her food and litter were outside the cage). The return trip home was much more calming for her.
It was easy to assemble
June 26, 2015
This kennel was fabulously packaged. It is so much larger than my other kennel and is made just as well as the name brand ones that I've purchased in the past. I did not see a "Handle" on the top of it, but it doesn't need one.It was easy to assemble, popped right open. Nothing bent, nothing broken, just came right up when I popped it open. Divider was inside of the kennel. Not using it however. The metal wire appears sturdy and the doors shut easily. The side door is awesome and offers an alternative exit for my pup. It is HUGE and works great with my bloodhound who stands above knee height and weighs almost a hundred pounds. This kennel would be good for German Shepherds, Large labs, rottweilers, smaller dog with pups, two small dogs, bloodhounds, pointers. I would not recommend it for an adult great dane, as the dog would have to duck to get in. A larger, custom kennel would be better for a dog of that stature. I also would not use this for a grown male mastiff, as I feel it may be too small for that size dog.I hope to enjoys years of comfort for my pooch, he and I could fit in this kennel comfortably together.I ordered the XXL crate and it shipped in two days hassle free via UPS.

Ideal size for our Golden Retriever
September 7, 2017
This crate is ideal for our needs. We use it for our male golden retriever and it is plenty big enough for him to turn and get comfortable. The construction is solid and it opened and set up easily. There is a divider with it that allows you to create a smaller area to start your puppy out in. The tray is quality material and slides out easily for cleaning. We don't have a problem with our dog trying to escape, however I think this crate is ideal for a well trained/ behaved dog. It may not hold up to an aggressive escape artist, but then what would?*There is a handle included which snaps on and off to make moving it easier, but I would recommend two people only due to the size, not the weight.

June 30, 2017
Item is as described. My dog loves it, set it up and showed it to her and she walked right in. I bought the 36 size crate for my 55lb dog. She fits, she can turn around and she can stretch out. Perfect for her but only because she is not one to try to escape a crate. If your dog were to attempt to break out of this crate I believe they could do so. Just keep that in mind, you get what you pay for, it's cheap and works with an animal who doesn't have crate anxiety.
Good crate for the price.
June 29, 2017
This thing is what it is. A sturdy dog crate that is perfect for home use. It's a lot bigger than I anticipated for our puppy. The divider makes it work, even though it's probably bigger than she'll need when full grown. Our 50 lb Aussie mix fits in it with room to spare.you really can't beat the price and it dies exactly what we need in regard to potty training or puppy. Would recommend and purchase again. The only reason this is a 4 star re it is that their is a sizable gap under the divider where her toys and chews slide under making retrieval difficult.
Nice quality overall.
April 28, 2017
The kennel is nice quality and arrived quickly. For the price I paid, I expected the construction to be more lightweight, so it's better than anticipated. My only complaint is that the snap on handle for carrying isn't well designed in that it slides back and forth on the bars, rather than fitting snugly between the support bars on the top-- which would keep the kennel from shifting if you're carrying it and the animal moves inside. I don't use the kennel for carrying often, though.
This cage is good quality for my purpose
January 31, 2017
I had to buy a cage to keep my cat in for a couple months after he fractured his spine. This cage is good quality for my purpose. It is big enough to fit the litter box , cat bed , and food bowl comfortably (24x36). The 2 doors made it convenient to change the food and water, and the pan at the bottom pulls out for cleaning. I saw some reviews saying the bars are weak, but my 55 pound kid sat on top of it a couple times and it held up fine.
Great Crate! Plan to Keep for a Long Time!
July 19, 2016
I'm not going to say that my dog loves the crate, and I didn't love the crate at first either, because it's so big. It takes up a lot of space in my room, but it keeps him comfortable and safe at night and when I can't watch him so that makes me happy. He always knows to just go on into his crate when it's bedtime, and after a few minutes of being in his crate, he's fast asleep on his orthopedic crate mat. He's only three and a half months old, but he's a really smart dog. He's already figured out how to get out of the baby gates, but I can tell that he won't be able to figure out how to get out of his crate any time soon,So far he hasn't been able to chew through the metal bars, and it doesn't look like he'll ever be able to chew through them, but I'm leaving one star off until I can verify that that either won't happen or that he'll give up on chewing on the bars before it does happen. The only problem that I have with the crate is the fact that when I put the divider in, it forced the side door of the crate closed, so I could only put my dog in through the front and since he wasn't 'close' enough to me he cried all night, so I had to take it out and I haven't used it again since. However, he hasn't peed in his crate once. He finally sleeps all night and doesn't wake me up, and it has really helped me with potty training. He's a White German Shepherd Dog so I'm confident that they crate will be large enough to fit him when he's 60-70 pounds in another three months or so.Now, if I could just get this crate to teach him to stop chewing on wires.(Also, don't leave wires near the crate. I had an unplugged computer cable a few inches from his crate and he pulled it in an chewed it in half).

It is very easy to build
July 4, 2017
Well, I did plenty of research before I purchased this cage.. and I did read all the low scores and was unsure if I should proceed or not.Since I was not planning on using it for a dog I decided to just buy it and give it a try...The Cage came in, and I convert it for use for my Chinchilla ... I will rate the product before my conversion. It is very easy to build, basically one, two, three go. The floor is plastic not too thick ... during my conversion process I went in a few times and sat in there, I could feel the under cage kinda hurt my knees and when I turned backwards it was somewhat uncomfortable for my back so I can only imagine what a large dog might feel. Yes, I said I went in, this cage is big enough for me to have gone in.I do have a Pittbull and we wrestle, I let him bite me and I can say even with his play bite on me I am sure he would do a nice number to the cage if he had an opportunity at it. So not sure about big breeds like pits or anything bigger than 15lbs in this cage... I think it's more about giving small breeds room to move around in there and not become agitated with their enclosure. In any event I knew I bought this not for dog and so am extremely happy with my purchase it's a great home for my Chin... The front door (one of the very main reasons I chose this cage) is now the main door to the cage. Plenty of room to jump in there and kinda run around if you plan on using it for a Chin or Rabbit the bottom is great since it slides out for cleaning ..DO NOT use AS IS for Small Critters as they might either escape or get their head stuck between each link of the cage (Since its not intended for small critters) As I mentioned I knew what I was buying and was ready to make changes to the cage to support my Chin permanently living in here.
Perfect for my little dogs
March 15, 2017
Love the crate idea. It has helped me to get a good nights sleep. I have 3 Chihuahua's and they used to roam around my bed room at night. They had accidents on my carpet. This crate has solved all my problems. I put 3 big quilts in it and they climb in every evening and make themselves cozy. I shut the door and they are good for 4 hours till I take them out. Then right back into their little nest. It is heaven. Just wish it was a bit sturdier. A big dog might just tear it to pieces.
Crate + zip ties = perfection
October 9, 2016
Having pretty good use of this sucker so far. I took off a star because it does not seem very sturdy. I reinforced a number of the seems with zip ties, and that helped immensely. I was also pretty sure my clever pup would be able to push out of the front door (I zip tied the side door shut), so I have added clips to the top and bottom to keep him from pushing through. It's been working well, and I really like the removable tray for easier clean up. If you aren't going to be folding this sucker up consistently, I suggest adding some zip ties to your order and using those too. Better safe than destroyed home!
Delivery was prompt (within the week) and both arrived in good condition with some damage to the box
July 3, 2016
Purchased this product for my two mixed breed dogs. They are each 85 pounds and fairly tall so I opted for the 42" XXL model. I got two of them.Delivery was prompt (within the week) and both arrived in good condition with some damage to the box. They are very lightweight and easy to assemble, which I wanted since we will be traveling with them. They are pretty spacious and accommodated my dogs' height well. For those who may be wondering, I added a rubber stall mat under the wire cage bottoms. It cuts down on noise and prevents damage to your floors. ;) I also stained a sheet of thin plyboard and put it on top for added storage space. My one complaint is that the crates do seem a bit flimsy. If your dog is not crate trained I imagine that a few hard pulls/pushes could pop the front panel out of place if the pet really wanted out. Some strategically placed zip ties could probably alleviate this issue off you cannot afford a sturdier model.
verify measurements
May 25, 2016
the measurements given were 20 x 13 x 16. Well, evidently that was the size of the BOX (which I didn't think to measure before discarding) because the crate itself is 17 x 11 3/4 x 14, smaller than the one we had. I had wanted a slightly larger one because we just adopted a 9 week old chihuahua mix & aren't entirely sure how big he'll get. If need be we'll just have to get another crate; time will tell. Other than the size issue the crate gets 5 stars for ease of assembly; none really, just unfold & lock into place. It's nice & sturdy. Also there is a 2nd door on the side of the crate which wasn't mentioned but may prove useful once we load both crates into the car. It certainly doesn't hurt anything. The only reason this crate didn't get 5 stars was the misleading measurements.
one can be made very easily for half the cost of buying one
March 8, 2016
Our cat Mr. Biggles W. Fiddleworth enjoys his crate. Every night he has a set bedtime and he goes to bed. He is 26" long, 12" is tail length. He weighs 9lbs and is 9 month old. I placed a standard-size small dog bed inside the 20" crate, fit perfectly. I place a fuzzy blanket over the crate to cover and encourage quiet time. 20" crate covers are hard to come buy, but I wasn't interested and still am not in need of one. Although, one can be made very easily for half the cost of buying one. This may be an issue for some who want their animals crate to match their home decor and blend seamlessly. The door swivels shuts, the latch pushes in and rolls down into place. If you have a pet that can maneuver this type of latch, a simple clip should alleviate the problem. This is a crate, not a travel cage and therefore it is not the type of sturdiness one would look for in a traveling cage. It meets my needs and the needs of the cats, which are the basic essentials: a safe place to crate my cat at night, when I am gone, and cleaning the house. My cat feels secure and comfortable.. So I am VERY happy with my product.

Good product for a big dog
October 8, 2017
I got it for a tiny dog. I wanted him to have plenty space when I have to leave him for long hours. I should have spent a few dollars more to get the double door kind.I can't reach my little dog unless I crawl inside myself, if he refuses to come out. It takes up a lot of space the way I have to place in my living room, which also would have helped if I had the double door kind ( to place it flat against the wall instead of sticking out). It seems well-made, but I regret my choice for these reasons.
BUYER BEWARE- Updated review- Safety issue!
September 4, 2017
Updating review because I bought a second cage through warehouse deals. It said it was in like new condition. Received it and was happy until a day later. A crossbar was missing and it was clearly a manufacturing defect. My dog managed to put his head through and Yelped until I could get him free. Luckily I was home or he possibly could have choked himself or became injured. Defective items need to be reworked or indicated. I'm returning it immediately but if you have one of these cages make sure you don't have any awkward gaps or crossbars missingThis review was for my first cage: Love it! Absolutely no complaints. I'll admit I was a little hesitant at first due to the price but boy was I pleasantly surprised. It is nice and strong and easy to put up or take down. I use it for a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and the one I bought was slightly large but the divider helped a ton. I'm buying a second one so I wont have to keep moving it back and forth between my bf's house.
Great cage but one major drawback or it would get a 5-star from me.
August 3, 2017
I love this crate, I really do. But unfortunately it has a major flaw, it has very sharp edges. The welding on most of the bars (towards the door and front where we frequent) have very sharp edges. My cousin tried to poke his head in to play with our puppy and it cut open his back (yes, he was bleeding). I've gotten 3-5 painful scratches that almost drew blood if I were a bit less careful. Even my puppy let out a loud YELP a few times playing near the entrance of the crate. I'll still use it and learn to work around it because it's still a great crate. I love how roomy it is and how sturdy it feels. Just it shame I can't 100% like it.
It's okay
July 20, 2017
Having two latches on each door is a bit of a pain. Not just because you have to "open" the door twice, but also when dog is fumbling around inside and bumps the side, there's a lot more rattling due to the 4 latches. Annoying when you have a puppy that likes to punch the air while sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe I'm nit picking. I've bought a few of these types of crates on Amazon from different sellers--they all seem about the same quality as far as sturdiness (which is to say it's sturdy enough), and about identical setup. Can't go too wrong with these. I'd just go with fewer doors and fewer latches.
Check size carefully
July 4, 2017
This is smaller than other crates the same length I have purchased. Check the dimensions carefully. It is narrower and shorter. Also has a bend in the slide that locks the crate. I guess it's a safety but it makes opening two slides very awkward - I prefer just a plain closure. It is also heavier than others.

February 11, 2017
Cage is a described. It is slightly cheaper but the paint is not as smooth as the others I have gotten from other companies. My dog doesn't chew on bars or scratch at them so I kept it, but the slightly higher price is probably worth it to get one from the pet store if that is a concern for you.

NOT STURDY - don't purchase if you need to CONTAIN your pet
September 21, 2017
NOT STURDY - my <40 lb basset hound demolished it and escaped several times (with the sliders still in place) and peed all over my house. Basically, he bent the side back, pushed the bottom part of the door out, and slipped through. He is lazy and has no ambition in general, so I never anticipated he would do this, or that a metal crate would allow it. It always felt flimsy compared to the other brand I've purchased but I was still stunned. I have to get rid of it as it is useless for the purpose purchased -- to keep him corralled when I cannot have him running free.It would be fine as a "den" for your skittish pet to escape to if that's all you need, but it will not contain a remotely intelligent animal.
Not as good as I hoped.
December 22, 2016
I purchased this crate for a new puppy. (Blue healer/ Australian Shepherd) It works great so far but it's a little less sturdy than I would like. I'm afraid when the pup gets bigger he will be able to push it open. The latches are also very simple and my 1year old granddaughter is constantly opening it.

October 19, 2016
It is a not as sturdy as we expected so have had to 'zip tie' the sides. But for the price it works well for our older dog as she just sleeps in it when we travel. I don't know how sturdy it would be for a bigger more active dog? It did come on schedule.
GREAT SIZE, FLIMSY PRODUCT, RECEIVED BENT.
September 15, 2016
The size of this crate is amazing. It is not very sturdy though and we received both cages bent up. None of the doors on either cage work very well due the cages being bent up.
Not For Use Without Being Crate Trained
July 17, 2016
It's definitely NOT for use when your dog isn't crate trained. I bought this to put in our camper. Our 4 month old Boxer loves it and he's already crate trained so it will work out OK. If you have a dog that isn't crate trained, I wouldn't recommend this one. It's pretty lightweight and would bend very easy.
This was very easy to setup and works well for the dog
November 2, 2015
This was very easy to setup and works well for the dog. The issue with this is the front latch is rather difficult to lock. It seems like it just doesn't line up quite right and must be repositioned each time I go to lock the cage. The easy setup though makes this great if there is an accident as it comes apart easily to clean.

Good quality... except for the divider
September 3, 2017
Crate seems very sturdy and of good quality so far...however, only giving two stars because the divider (which is what sold me as i have a 5 month shepherd mix who will inevitable grow big) does NOT fit properly with the crate. It leaves a big gap for my pup to paw and/or bite at to move it and knock down, which defies the point of the divider. Got rid of the box it shipped in or else i would have returned it already.

May 14, 2017
I received this crate and several areas of metal were bent out of shape. I had to pry everything back into alignment to avoid my dog injuring himself. This crate is also about an inch shorter than expected, which isn't a huge deal but in comparison to the standard medium crate size, that is something to consider. The design of the crate tray that comes with this crate also makes the bottom area smaller by a couple of inches.
Crate came very warped
April 12, 2017
The one we received came damaged. Some of it was from shipping, and some from manufacturing. The whole thing is warped in such a way that made it incredibly difficult to unfold, set up, and even open or close the doors. Individual wires in the crate are bent, and the doors are warped.Overall I'm very disappointed. The 36" we ordered did not have these problems!

March 26, 2017
we use the side door due to the layout of where we keep the crate and the bottom edge is super sharp. None of the spot welds are ground down and have cut my arm and I am worried about the dog.
My dog was able to easily break all the wires and get out
August 15, 2016
My dog was able to easily break all the wires and get out. I have had 2 or 3 of these now. This time we got smart and added in some thick plastic panels zip tied to the door and sides and we reinforce the locks when we leave and its fine.
It's not just inexpensive - it's cheap!!
January 29, 2016
I was excited for this crate to arrive - it had super reviews and a fraction of the cost of "name brand". Once it finally arrived (back ordered) there was a little bit of an issue to put it together. The "owner's manual" is laughable; in fact, I still can't quite figure out where/how the handle should attach for carrying the folded cage. Cage does not fit together snugly and the gap at the top of the side door would be a problem for any dog who might attempt to escape (luckily ours will not). It is unclear what to do with certain latches (not used except when folded is my guess but . . . The plastic pan at the bottom is thin and the entire crate wobbles slightly, despite being on a level concrete floor.First time something from Amazon has truly let me down!

Puppy Jailbreak!
September 22, 2017
It lasted a good two days for my puppy. He's about 85 lbs, 8 months old, and a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. The amount of space in it was great for him, but he decided this wasn't for him! While I was out, he decided it was time for a jailbreak. It looks like he somehow managed to unlock the bottom lock, and then he squeezed through the gate, bending the metal along the way. Either way, it didn't hold up to his strength and stubbornness. Along are some photos of him proud of his work and of the cage itself.
This is not for a dog that is not willing to stay in it
September 19, 2017
This is not for a dog that is not willing to stay in it. My 75 pound dog was free within ten minutes. She merely pushed against it until the sides were pried apart. A few of the sides are held together by clasps of sorts. Push hard enough and the metal will flex and the clasps will release. I had to zip tie these sides on at least three places each. I even needed to zip tie the door shut because I doubt it would have held. This was rather inexpensive and I should have done more research. I need something much more substantial for my dog to crate train her.
Works but could be built better
August 19, 2017
We have had this cage for about 6 months and haven't been too happy with how it's held up. Some of the hooks to keep the crate together have bent and the cage seems a little flimsier then some of the others I have seen. In addition, the divider leaves enough of a gap that our puppy was able to slip under to the other side. Some of the black coating has come off to and shown some rust underneath. It is still functional, just not holding up as well as I would have thought.
Not sturdy enough to be a large dog crate
July 31, 2017
You would think that a crate was designed for large dogs would be sturdier. I was surprised at the thinness of the wire on the cage. The first night my 60 pound three-legged German Shepherd bent the door, which unhooked the lock and escaped the crate. I'm afraid to try and bend it back for fear that I will snap something. I gave it one more star than I would have only because the crate was easy to assemble. I will be asking the vendor for a refund and if I don't get one i'll have my husband fix it and then donate it to a local shelter. I don't think it is a good cage for a large dog, even though I don't consider 60 pounds large, but it would be fine for several little dogs who like to be together.

It was a lot smaller than imagined. And sure, the setting up should sound enjoyable, after all, no tools required, but it was actually kind of hard. I couldn't see where the front of the cage was, where it began, and how to set it up. Not to mention the fact that it is incredibly squeaky, even a small shift in my dogs postition would make it squeak.
Item arrived on time and easy to set up

Item arrived on time and easy to set up, however the plastic base arrived smashed to pieces. And the metal is pretty flimsy and very bendable. I purchased as a place to crate my cat while trying to break a bad marking habit. It's good for what I need, spit for a bed. A hanging bed, water/food a cat box and walking space. It would be enough for a large breed dog, husky lab etc. But they would easily be able to bend the metal and escape if they chose to.

Poor quality

Not a good kennel. Poorly put together. My German Shepherd keeps escaping.
Poorly made and was bend when we received it...

Just received this product today in the mail and the box it came in was completely crushed and ripped open. Someone tried to tape it back together. When we took it out of the box to set it up, the whole side was bent and we couldn't close the side door. We had to bend it back into place so that our dog could sleep in it tonight. It's not very well made either, the metal is very flimsy and bends way too easily. I wouldn't buy it again!!

Put my 18 month beagle in the cage. 30 min later he had broken the cage and had to be thrown out. First and last time we he will be in a cage.
Okay for occasional use but very CHEAP feel

I ordered 2 for my dogs for rare use. They arrived quickly, however both were damaged to the point of not being able to assemble them without me having to bend the crate to correct the damage from shipping. If you are planning on very rare use for a dog that isn't to motivated to escape the crate I would say buy it. For frequent use I would recommend spending more and getting a better product.
Cheaply made :(

We set this up easily in our living room but then once we got our puppy, we realized it would be better for it to be in the laundry area. So I folded it back up and set it back up there, easily- but when I did, I noticed one of the metal pieces had come apart, at the door. So this is totally cheaply made and wouldn't work for a big puppy - she would just bust out?!!!
Comparable crate

Dont waste your money. This is my second try of this crate. Both times, the tray broke. the tray is flimsy. Crate is a good crate but unless you want to always buy new trays. ......

Poor Quality and Damaged upon delivery.
October 5, 2017
I ordered this product through a warehouse deal, where it was noted that it was just the packaging that was damaged, but that it would come in the original box and was undamaged. However, this arrived in a series of black garbage bags instead. Opening it, the product was damaged - metal parts of the cage were broken, the plastic flooring was cracked and had a hole in it. After deciding not to go through the hassle of complaining and returning something that probably would take forever to figure out, I kept it and place my dog in the cage. After the dog (terrier mix) was in the cage for 4-6 hours for a consecutive 5 days, he was able to flip the cage and crawl out the bottom after completely destroying the plastic flooring (literally ripped it in half). If a small dog can do this to a big cage, imaging what a husky or legitimately large dog could do to this. The metal is thin and cheaply made. The plastic is thin and cheaply made. I recommend that people DO NOT purchase this cage for the quality is poor and your dog will easily escape.
Very flimsy

I bought this crate for my 6 month old weimaranaer who weighs 45 lbs. Crates are intended to hold the dogs inside. He has now broken out of both doors. How you ask? He literally broke the bar and bent the door while we were gone dropping kids off at school. There is no way this thing can hold the a full size dog like it is supposed to. Plus the danger it poses on the animal itself. Very unhappy.
Not for strong or bouncy dog. They will ruin it.
September 26, 2017
If you want strong crate for dog that may jump against sides, this is not for you. Cheap wire crate. Good for cats or puppies but not safe and sound product for a dog that will push on it. Compared side by side with four different crates, this one is of poor strength and durability. It does have "double" locking but that's it's only pro.
Not long-lasting durability as advertised
September 25, 2017
Ordered this for my 9 month old puppy, who was chewing everything while we were out and about. Not for long periods for a most 4-5 hrs in the crate every so often, not an everyday occurrence. I got this fairly quickly, but for something advertised as " long-lasting durability and security" this is not the case at all. In the not even one month we had this crate the 9 month old puppy first pulled the side door inside of the crate as well as bent most of the bars around the side door. Then when we turned the crate to use the front door she within a few hours pulled that door in to the crate and bent the wires around the door. She has also managed to pop a few of the wires from their welds. So the long lasting durability is not a proper claim. To have spent this money and the product not even last a month much less long lasting is a vast disappointment.
Don’t let your dog sleep with her collar.
