If you are willing to be patient and take the time to assemble this product you will be oh so happy with the end result
November 10, 2015
This chandelier is absolutely FABULOUS! Now it did take some time, over 2 hours to assemble, but it was well worth the time and effort! I needed something to make my new purple oasis pop and boy oh boy it does that and so much more! I got a dimmer for the light switch so i could see different levels of light and it is absolutely stunning!! If you are willing to be patient and take the time to assemble this product you will be oh so happy with the end result. The price was great for this product and that's a good thing since my electrician charged me double the price to install. And that's another thing, make sure you have a qualified, electrician (someone who knows what they are doing) to hang your chandelier. This chandelier is over 50lbs fully assembled with all the beautiful crystal balls and you need to thoroughly ensure that it is mounted correctly on the ceiling. I hired someone to install just to make sure this chandelier stays in place! But all in all, this chandelier is EXQUISITE, ELEGANT, CLASSY AND FABULOUS!!!!!
HOW I ASSEMBLED >>BEAUTIFUL in my Powder Room.
August 7, 2015
Purchased over a year ago, the ''very first'' purchase for a nearly full home earthquake repair / overall remodel. This was added to my New Powder Room, and looks Great. This is lovely, sparkly, and everyone whose seen it so far, positively ''gasps'' at how pretty it is.Overall, it took me probably 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put it together. The Instructions, laughably unhelpful..This should help some of you: ((I based what I did on problems others had listed in previous reviews))Note...1 to 2 pair of small needle nose pliers will be very helpful.# 1... Be sure you first count you have all pieces, in the quantities listed on the diagram, for each length, & the number of balls.# 2 A... Inspect the balls for chips... I had no problem with my shipment, but I was relieved only ''after'' I un-bagged each of the 43 balls, rubbed them in a terry cloth wash cloth, looking for chips... Also, check the smaller pieces, of various lengths.# 2 B Also, check the tiny hole at the top of the balls. I read of some where the ''hole'' didn't go though. I used a sewing needle to check this.#3... Lay out the different lengths each in it's own group, on a large plush towel or blanket. That will keep pieces from rolling away. Use a comfortable sized table top. Begin to assemble.I did the shorter outside pieces, going all around for that length. Then work your way in, length by length, to the longer ones, saving the longer inside lengths for last.#4... Don't rush. Take a few breaks, and spread it over 2 days to avoid frustration.#5... The hardest part for me was hooking the large bottom balls to the itty bitty little rings. After many bloody pokes to my finger-tips, I learned to angle the top blade shaped ''angle'' on the top of the ball into the separation in the tiny wire ring to push it open.. Then gently slide each overlapping end of the ring into the holes of the crystal ball.Do Not Install Bulbs yet.#6... Before hanging, I first placed a triple folded blanket over my new powder room sink / marble counter top... It's heavy... 11 pounds, and I was worried about chipping, if a section broke loose and fell.#7 I tied 2 thin cotton tea towels over the entire glass section of the chandelier, leaving only the top round section of the fixture exposed.#8 My general contractor and his tall son, who held it up while his dad installed it, complained a bit that maybe I should have installed the heavy balls later, after mounting to the ceiling.... Don't do it. I can't imagine the difficulty of putting the balls on, all 43 of them, after it's mounted on the ceiling.#9 Carefully untie the wrapping, feeling for any loose weight, where something may have come loose/unattached.#10 Once installed, carefully add your light bulbs...I also had a DIMMER SWITCH installed. It's beautiful even at lower light levels.I'm also considering trying the light bulbs that have little ripples, and a slight opalescent finish.I'm thinking it might cast more of a rainbow effect..Photos below.. Note also, how the light casts almost a mottled effect to the ceilings and walls, almost looking in venetian wall paint/texture. My powder room walls are painted in a simi-gloss finish.ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE: Is that the 2 screws that hold on each of the 12 arms, are visible at the top of the fixture. Magnify the manufacturers photo displayed, to see this more carefully.
All kinds of awesome!
February 18, 2015
Yes... It is time-consuming to put it together.. But SO WORTH IT!! :) it took me two hours, but it's sparkliness has really transformed the whole room! The instructions are a joke, btw... Step one: "drill a hole on the ceiling". You can basically just look at the picture, and figure it out. I highly recommend this. :) (and another bonus... You know there isn't an Chinese child breaking their little hands to string the crystals together... Because you get to do it. See? A good price and no guilt!)
but I am so glad I did
August 26, 2014
I almost did'nt order this because I was afraid it would be to labor intensive, but I am so glad I did. It arrived in the evening so I attached the arms and the long crystal in the middle where they are hard to reach. I did not attach the large crystals until after lamp was hung because it would make the light too heavy to lift while trying to wire it to the ceiling. Then the next afternoon my husband held the light while I wired it, it attached to the ceiling plate easily. I then attached the larger heavier crystals in the middle and then attached the rest of the crystals on the arms. It did take about an hour to get them all on, but it was well worth it, the light is beautiful (hung in guest bedroom). Glad I read the other reviews so I could plan out what would work for me. My husband was delighted, he was not sure it would look good when he saw the photos. Just one more thing to add, I am a 69 year old female, so how hard could it be!
It's GORGEOUS and a LABOR OF LOVE
May 30, 2014
After reading all the reviews I prepared myself for a beautiful light and a good long project--I think I underestimated this light on both counts. It's gorgeous. Just lovely. And I absolutely adore it. Also? The length of time it took me to put together and get up? Well, for the first few hours I found myself chipper and almost in a zen like state, connecting the zillions of crystals to the fixture and each other. (Also, the instructions are comically awful. Just BAAAAD.) The next couple were lesser chipperer... And after that... It was almost as though time stopped completely-slash-I entered into some kind of vortex/space time continuum. All I can say is prepare to get down and dirty with some needle nose pliers. And perhaps a season of some sitcom you've been wanting to catch up on. You'll also need at least two people to put this sucker up. Heavy little fella. BUT. And oh there is a but! It is beautiful beyond words. Totally worth it. Absolutely. Am trying to think of another room for it so I can purchase one more. I owe it to my pliers. We're BFFs now.
Very beautiful light....
May 13, 2013
You have to put crystals together...a bit tedious but not difficult at all. This light is beautiful, just got to figure out how to hang this as it's got some weight to it. If you know what your doing, then don't hesitate to buy but may need a proffessional to hang this up since you may need reinforcements.

Gorgeous and so worth it!
June 26, 2017
I've had my eye on this chandelier for quite some time. It's modern. Not your typical candle stick chandelier. It's different than anything you would find at Lowe's or Home Depot and definitely fits my decor style of rustic glam. I knew from reading the reviews that it would have to be put together crystal by crystal instead of coming already assembled. I was prepared for the challenge because I absolutely love this design. So I eventually took the leap and ordered it.It was packaged really well for shipping and arrived in only a few days after ordering it. It came with an extra crystal leaf just in case one broke which was nice. It took me approximately 2 hours to get all the crystals pinned to all the branches which wasn't that bad. Once you put the first 2 or 3 crystals it gets easier and goes quicker because you find your groove.DO NOT SHOVE THE CRYSTALS IN THE PETALS! Take your time when bending open the base petals just enough to fit each crystal inside in order to slide the pin through. If you don't open up the petals first and instead use the crystal to open the petals up you will damage the crystals. I HIGHLY recommend using jewelry tools or pliers with no teeth to avoid damaging the metal. It will make things so much easier. Shoving the crystals in to pry open the petals will chip your delicate crystals and then you'll have small pieces of glass everywhere. Once in place and hung you won't have that problem so don't worry about glass pieces raining down on you lol. It's only when in the process of attaching the crystals.Including in your package will be one white cloth glove to use when handling the crystals. This is to avoid finger prints. I didn't use it. There's just no way of avoiding the finger prints when handling the chandelier during the hanging process which is a two-man job. Once it was hung up I took a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner and gently wiped down every single crystal. It was tedious, but you could definitely see the difference. They're shiney now instead of being dull and cloudy from the prints. After attaching the crystals to the branches you'll need to attach the branches to the base. You will need to unscrew the base and open each section in order to secure the branches. That was the biggest pain in the neck for me. It looks intimidating seeing the base separated, but don't let that overwhelm you. I'm not an electrician so when I saw the wires in the middle section of the base needed to be connected I panicked. The directions are in really small print so I just read the pictures. I decided to attached the wires myself based on the directions with the images. I put the base together and hoped for the best. Once it was hung and the power turned in I was elated. I actually got the wires right lol. The electrician who hung it up for me took the time to show me which wires get attached and how to secure them which was great. I have 3 more light fixtures to change out that are not as heavy as this chandelier so now I'm more comfident. This chandelier weighs approximately 13 lbs so definitely get two people. In the end I feel this chandelier was well worth it. It would have cost more if already assembled for sure. So the price fits the "assembly required". My ceiling is average height, not really high at all, so I had a lot of length to trim with the wire and chain. However, I didnt trim it whatsoever. I had the guy let the chain hang and ran the wire through the entire length. The reason I didn't trim it is because I plan on moving in 5 years and I don't intend on leaving tbis beauty behind. It's coming with me and I don't know how tall the ceilings will be in my next home. This chandelier is gorgeous, different, and yes I would do it all over again! Take your time and don't rush it. Be careful and gentle and do it right. You'll be so happy and proud when it's finally hung and lit. Also, I ordered the Sunlite 12 pack 40W E12 bulbs in frost from Amazon, not clear bulbs because I didnt want to see the inside of the bulbs when off. The frosted look blends in so nicely and seamlessly with the chandelier. But the clear bulbs I'm sure would look just as nice. The frosted bulbs were just my preference. This chandelier only requires 9 bulbs so the extra bulbs are great to have on hand just in case one burns out. I eventually went to Home Depot and purchased a dimmer switch. This chandelier really lights up my kitchen dinette area a bit too much for me so a dimmer solved the problem. Plus it allows for some ambiance which is pretty.Good luck and I hope my long review helps!
Looks awesome!
May 6, 2017
Great kit to build!Once you get the hang of it, each crystal only takes 20 seconds to install.Everything is gentle, no brute force, as the metal leaves and the metal pin are soft. For each crystal, use the crystal to gently pry open the 4 soft metal leaves, until the tip of the crystal touches the bottom of the socket. Then press the 4 metal leaves against the crystal, and angle the 4 metal leaves along with the crystal, until they are symmetrically bent.Once you have done this test fit and adjustment, then gently thread the soft tin pin. It should slide right through easily, as you have already lined up the holes.Only takes 20 seconds a crystal, if you square off the 4 metal leaves as above prior to pinning!
This is a beautiful chandelier once assembled
May 5, 2017
This is a beautiful chandelier once assembled. Be aware that it did take several hours to attach all of the crystals but only a few minutes to hang it. If you have the patience to work on it, the reward is worth it. It looks like a piece that should have cost 3 times as much.
Worth the effort - gorgeous
June 5, 2016
I bought this chandelier fully aware it would take a huge amount of work, as others have noted. Assembly was made easier with jewelry making tools and installation wasn't an issue because my husband is an electrical engineer. It still took a substantial amount of time, but so worth the effort, it's exactly what we wanted at a crazy affordable price. Attaching the crystals needs some creativity it you want it to look clean and fitted. Even if you had to hire a maintenance person to help, I still say this chandelier is well worth it! It provides plenty of light, we recommend using a dimmer switch.Instructions are seriously lacking, but with some handy experience, patience, and common sense you'll figure it out.
Stunning and satisfied.

I think it needed one more light but im happy and its stunning! It takes work to put together. In total it took about 3 hrs.

Good..some crystals are chipped
July 4, 2017
They are easy enough to assemble. A few of them were chipped when the arrived, I didn't worry much about it because the chips were at the top side and would not be visible on my chandelier
however my comments will be pretty similar to others on here
September 6, 2016
This chandelier is stunning.....however my comments will be pretty similar to others on here. It is a nightmare to put together. There were literally no instructions. It's really really heavy and the ceiling will need to be reinforced. The balls are too heavy for the teeny thin rings they provided and the rings were really hard to close back up and the balls would start falling off. A friend came over and brought much stronger jewelry rings and we doubled up on all the balls. I ended up not even using the 7 strands that go on the inside because it was just too heavy. Took me 3 full nights of assembly. But it's so beautiful and sparkly that I think it was worth the pain.
and it works great. Only time will tell if the metal clips ...
December 23, 2015
The pictures for this item are incorrect. It shows the strands all connected by rings. What actually came in the box was cheap metal clips. While they will adequately hold the strand, they are not solid connection points to the heavy glass balls. I couldn't get the balls to hang evenly with the clips. I reached out to the seller and he promptly wrote back, then sent me 40 rings at no extra cost. The rings allowed us to quickly put everything together (about 1 hour of assembly time total). Light is very bright with three 60W bulbs. We have this on a dimmer switch, and it works great. Only time will tell if the metal clips will give out over time. I will update this review if any of the crystal balls come crashing on our hardwood floor.
Makes a statement!
November 20, 2015
Yes, as the reviews state it takes a while to assemble. But definitely makes a statement!!Our only problem was that 1 crystal did not have a hole drilled in it. Amazingly my son had found this EXACT same crystal over a month ago while picking pumpkins! What are the odds? He had saved it and I remembered that it was in his top drawer. So we were able to use it. If we need did not have it though I'm not sure what we would have done. That is the only reason it got four stars.
Absolutely love this chandelier I bought for my bedroom
September 15, 2014
Absolutely love this chandelier I bought for my bedroom. The flush mount and smaller height of this is perfect if you have a room with 8' ceilings like I have. Puts out a enough light and makes the crystal's sparkle. Pictures do not do it justice. I received the product quickly also. Amazon advised I would receive 9/16-9/19 and I received it on 9/12. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 6 out of 43 crystal balls had very tiny knicks in them but really not an issue as by time you hang it on the ceiling there is no way to see them. It did take a little bit of time assembling all the arms onto the base but it was so worth it. One thing I did was assemble all the arms to the base and then the dropping crystals to the arms. I then installed the chandelier on the ceiling before adding the very heavy crystal balls to the end of the drops. This helped with the weight issue when installing it above your head and it only took me a short time to hang the crystal balls. I worked from the center out and was done in less than 30 min for all 43 balls.
NIGHTMARE ASSEMBLY, RIDICULOUS INSTRUCTIONS BUT FABULOUS STUNNING FIXTURE
August 18, 2014
OMG- Everything that ever one said about the nightmare assembly is true. However, I put it together myself and I'm just a tiny girl. I attached the arms to the fixture first, then the long strands of the light weight 'faux crystal'. The instructions are a joke, it's better to follow the directions of the reviewers here. AFTER the fixture was mounted on the ceiling, then i placed the 42 very heavy pieces of crystal with those very flimsy rings standing on my bathroom counter top. Because the rings are so thin, a couple of times the heavier piece of crystal would drop. One took a nice chunk out of my travertine countertop. It's a show stopper but it took about two days for my back to straighten out from opening those tiny hooks and trying to attach the heavier crystal ball. It was like threading a needle 42 times .

It is as pretty as in the pic
February 16, 2017
It is as pretty as in the pic, but it has many pieces to assemble. All pieces were included, and it arrived in the predicted time.
Unique, beautiful, sore fingers but stunning results.
November 14, 2016
I purchased this chandelier off jet for $170 with the 15% off coupon "Triple15".Took me 10-15 minutes to assemble 7 crystals on each branch. There were 18 branches so took about 3-4 hours but did it in 1-2hr blocks of time on separate days over the course of the week so didn't seem like a big deal. The most time was consumed by lining up the holes for the pin to slide through. Took about 2-hrs to assemble branches, wire, pull wire, remove chain links and attach to ceiling.I used a longer threaded nipple than what was supplied (2") I bought a 3.5" since my ceiling medallion added more thickness.**TIP 1** use needle nose pliers to straighten prongs before inserting pin through the hole in the crystal and the crystal holder. Most of the time all it takes is applying a little pressure down on the crystal while in the prongs and the pin just drops through very easily.**TIP 2** install the wire throughout the chandelier before you attach it to your ceiling junction box. But first remove chain links to desired length before threading wire and hanging.**TIP3** install branches before hanging the chandelier. And install a dimmer switch it costs $20 and is very easy to do (look it up on Youtube).Any question just comment below and also comment and tell me what you think of the final product.

If you do not have a job, kids, hobby, tv, car, computer, ipod, family or a library card, I highly suggest purchasing this chandelier. Each "leaf/crystal" is YOUR responsibility to attach to the chandelier. You are required to push a pin sized needle through three tiny holes. If you are looking for something to do for a few months and are in the market for a chandelier, this is it. 20/20 Vision and a Steady Hand is also a plus. Great decoration/pass-time for the recently retired surgeon... If this were assembled, it would easily be worth 2-3 times the current cost.

the light itself is great once it is all assembled
December 14, 2016
Wow, where to begin.....the light itself is great once it is all assembled. Regarding assembly, you had better pack a lunch. This thing requires a LOT of time to put together. Assembly instructions are almost nonexistent. It took about four hours to put together. make sure you put all the hanging crystals on before you install the light. You cannot get your fingers inside the bulb sockets to attach the small split rings to the tiny loops that hold the strands. for the same reason you had better attach them BEFORE installing the curved arms that hold the rest of the strands. I almost gave up.
Great! but poor assembly instructions
May 20, 2015
Oveall it is great product when assembled. The biggest drawback is the assmebly. It was a REAL PAIN. The instructions that came with it really SUCK. once the arms are put on, putting the beads is real time consuming and you have to make sure that you dont end up bending the metal rings while trying to join the beads together. I would have liked to have the beads come assembled as part of the assembly. It took me hours to put this together.
Like other reviewers said
April 16, 2015
Like other reviewers said, it's pretty, and that's why I bought it. It looked even better than the picture when hung from the ceiling and powered up.Reason why this is 3 but not 5 star is because of the fixture to light box connection. The supplied sheet metal bracket was a joke. It's impossible to get a good flush mount with the hardware provided. The 2 screws mount to me is not strong enough. Is it likely to fall ? probably not, but the safety factor is really low.Be prepared to come up with some field improvisation for the mounting. I am still searching in my garage to see what I can come up with.

January 14, 2015
The instruction is too simple. You need to figure it out by yourself. I spent about 2 hours to install it. The design for installation is also poor. I would think the designers did not have much experience in the installation of their products. It is beautiful after installation is done. You should know it is a bit small for a big room based on the size information.
The end product is absolute stunning - it sparkles and is a great addition to any room
July 4, 2014
I would have given this chandelier 5 stars except for these 2 reasons. 1) It arrives in a million pieces and has to be put together. Not such a big deal except there are no instructions as to how to do this ... just the words "put crystals" and a very dark drawing . 2) After attaching the curved metal bars to the frame you're supposed to attach the crystal chains to it with little wire circles. The problem with this is they (the metal circles) are not strong enough sustain the weight of the crystal balls. I ended up using 22g jewelry wire and I wired each piece to the metal frame in order to keep them secure. Otherwise they sprung open and fell off. The end product is absolute stunning - it sparkles and is a great addition to any room. Believe it or not - I put mine in my laundry room. Truly gave that room class. I would purchase it again - with lower expect ions since I thought all I'd have to do is pull it out of the box and hang it up.
What Can I say - I want to give it 5 stars for the appears, but some obstacles.
July 2, 2013
Let me start of by saying that this light is gorgeous and beautiful. Probably one of the coolest light designs that I have come across. However, I was very surprised to the draw backs which i will list out below.First, I had no idea that i would have assemble and attach each crystal ball to the key chain and lace them into the lamp. I think the assembly took me 2.5 hours. But it was doable. Maybe it is listed in the product description and i just missed it... not sure. I think this for me drops a star.Second, there are hooks in the lamp that is where you lace the string chains through for the crystal balls to hang down. some of these hooks were loose and I believe 2 of the hooks fell off (maybe during shipping)... not sure. However, since you have to open the back plate to install the lamp to the ceiling, this was not that big of a deal to screw these hooks back into place.Last, this is the part that drops it down to 3 stars. the product came in a big box that had a few layers of packing foam in it. Once i built about half of the light, 1hr, I got to the bottom layer and noticed that a lot of crystal balls had chips in them. I then realized that the bottom layer of crystal balls only had foam on top of the balls and not the bottom of the crystal balls. This is what caused about 10 of the crystal balls to have chips in them.Overall the lamp is beautiful, and if not for items 1-3, This would be a 5-star review. As the light itself is so beautiful.I did contact Amazon about this issue and they actually gave me some money back from this purchase. Amazon gets 10 stars for this. So easy to work with and that is why I continue to shop on Amazon.

June 22, 2014
I don't think I ever wrote a review before but my heat shrunk once I installed this chandelier. The chandelier is actually so small on my ceiling I felt cheated by the pictures... etc... It is a beautiful chandelier but really really small. I stood there starring at it thinking where is the rest of it???I will later post pictures so that you can see but gosh, don't get it if you are looking for a dramatic effect. I am sincerely disappointed.
This lamp requires a lot of time to assemble
September 4, 2013
At first we loved it. Crystals looked real and we felt we'd love it. However, it is lying in my house ready to be returned because as soon as we were on the last bracket (after spending 2 hrs assembling it) we realized the holes didn't align. Reached out to Amazon customer care who told us this was a third party product and can't provide us with the parts. Too bad because we spent so much time assembling it but we can't keep an item which is defective. So, we went ahead ordered another product from overstock which to our surprise was much easier to assemble, not as many big crystals as this one but looked beautiful, half the cost, and came with several spare parts. Not sure why they couldn't include the spares. This item comes with exactly counted number of parts and if you break one or lose one, you are toast. Stay away...

This light took forever to put together. A lot of the screws were in bad shape. It is extremely time consuming to assemble and very difficult. No instructions inside the box either. I wouldn't purchase this light again. I would have returned it immediately, but I didn't open it to put up until the return date had expired.
If I could put it together, I'm sure I'd love it.

I assume it will be beautiful when it's put together, but I have no idea how long that will take me. It didn't come with any real instructions and I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to attach all these crystals.
If anyone can help me that would be great. Also is it supposed to screw in easily

Chips!!
May 19, 2016
I so wanted to love this!! I was fine with piecing all the crystals on. My thumb and first finger were sure sore. I just watched tv and mindlessly pit it together. There were NO directions. The tube where all the layers get screwed together was impossible to get together. With two people holding it I finally got it together. I thought I was ready to hang. Then I noticed chipped pieces of crystal all over the floor. Every time the chandelier is moved the crystal rubs on the pin and frame to hold the crystal and it chips off small pieces of glass. I can't have small pieces of glass under my light. Ouch!! Had to return. Another similar light same brand is sold in black and it is already assembled. I'm so disappointed about the chipping.
Buy this ONLY if you want a new hobby!
December 23, 2015
The previous reviewers are accurate. Buyer be ware. It does take an excessive amount of time to assemble and a rocket scientist to install (I didn't call one) I figured I'd spare my electrician the nightmare. You have to take 60+ microscopic pins and push them through each individual Crystal and use a tool to adjust metal clamps in place to keep them from moving. It takes hours! I'm young, excellent vision, and pretty crafty but this was a nightmare. This should have been $10 max.
GARBAGE! Don't purchase from this company.

Absolute garbage. Unless you have an engineering degree, a masters in nuclear physics and happen to be a great jewelry maker don't buy this piece of garbage! Actually don't buy anything from this company because this can't be the only garbage they sell! Parts missing, crystals that don't fit, pieces broken off, useless one page instructions to put together this 'some assembly required' disaster. Very cheap, took over 12 hours to finally put together using our own wire. We're in Canada so to take it all apart and send back through the USA is a huge inconvenience.

the assembly was a joke. Literally you have to fit 160 crystals by hand into the prongs and slide a delicate pin through the prong and the crystal and then bend the pin and wrap it around the stem. It's absolutely ridiculous. And you have to figure that out with practically no instructions. And then once you spend about 4 hours putting all of the crystals on, you then need a very handy person or electrician to figure out how to assemble the lamp which is now in 5 pieces. And forget about relying on the instructions because they are written by a super teeny tiny foreign man with super teeny tiny fingers. It is beautiful as the crystals are actual crystals and not plastic, but such a huge headache! I was determined and spent 4 hours putting it together and then another 3 hours with someone else trying to assemble the lamp and hang it and finally gave up and shipped it back. At least with Amazon they took it back no questions asked. I purchased an equally beautiful crystal lamp for about $50 more and it had practically no assembly. One thing I will say after spending 7 hours with no final product ... I would've gladly spent 3 times that amount for a fully assembled chandelier. I have much appreciation now :o)
