Five Star Reviews: | 38% Great price! December 28, 2013 Bought these from the warehouse clearance dept. They were probably a return, so I reaped the profit of buying them for the Greenworks dethatcher even though it comes with a set of replacements! Exact replacement parts December 10, 2013 Exact replacement parts. After reading a review on the dethatcher it was recommed to buy them. So I ordered them with the Greenworks dethatcher. After receiving the dethatcher I found included in the box a bag of replacement tines. proper part number May 3, 2013 exact replacement tines for the 14", 10amp greenworks dethatcher; recommend having 2 bags on hand; original set still has adequate pulling capability | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 8% Good product. April 1, 2017 They wear rapidly, but they do a good job. I use the green works to dethach. Then I use my self propelled bagged mower with a raker blade. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 8% Caution - these are VERY small - like 1" long June 3, 2014 These are not tines that would work in a dethatcher - they are only 1-2 inches long. Not really sure what they work on.I had to send them back, and it looks like I was not the first based on packaging. GreenWorks 29272 Replacement Dethatcher Tines April 27, 2014 As stated in my review of the GreenWorks 14" Corded Dethatcher, these tines work well, however I feel that they could have been designed with heavier, harder material. It took me two sets of tines (@ $20/set) to complete my project. Fortunately GreenWorks provides a replacement set with each new unit. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 19% Tines Break Too Easily September 14, 2017 I've had my dethatcher for about 7 years now. The only issue is that these times are a small gauge and break way too easily. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but they are quite difficult to replace. If Greenworks also had available an option for tines in a stronger and heavier gauge metal, I would gladly pay the extra cost. Package of "18" only contained 15 April 16, 2017 The replacement tines are the same as the originals. They are pretty light duty, but work. My problem is the package of 18 tines only contained 15 pieces. okay July 16, 2015 dont last very long. Dethatcher is great but plan on buying these tines frequently. Tines, they are awasting March 24, 2015 The tines are definitely on the weak/light end of the spectrum, break easily and are bit of a pain to replace. A fresh set works wonders on the moss, but a tougher design is needed. Broke easily December 13, 2013 Need stronger gauge metal to do the work, estimated would need 3 sets of tines if you need to work on front and side yard twice if you have a thick grass, I used on St Augustine. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 27% small and light duty August 5, 2017 I should have read better... as others said, way, way, way smaller than I expected. Guess that is why they are so cheap. Tines fragile and break frequently April 29, 2015 Tines are fragile and break frequently even when used even on just soft grass. (I'm on my second bag of tines already this season.) The GreenWorks dethatcher is great but these tines should be made from a metal that is thicker and more durable. Poor quality, all broke on first usage. December 31, 2014 Tines that came on the dethatcher lasted a couple years and multiple uses. I replaced the tines this fall and all of them were broken the first time I used them in a 500 sq ft dog yard. Is there an alternative tine replacement out there? Tiny Tines August 27, 2014 Returned item. These are small 1.5" tines. Item does not look like picture. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
