Great buy! Everyone from 3-63 in our family LOVES this!
February 2, 2017
Our 6 year old LOVES this. It's a perfect table top size and it's a ton of fun. Actually, my husband, brothers, dad, and nephews ALL love it.. from ages 3-63! :) Great buy!
A great deal of family fun in a small package!
January 3, 2017
This quality built and nicely functional air hockey table fits perfectly across the narrow part of our standard kitchen table, giving us hours of fun for an excellent price! Yeah, it might be easier to store if the legs folded up, and sometimes a player may knock the sliding score keeping tab off the top of their goal - but these minor issues don't detract from the solid feel and tremendous fun we have playing on it. I was impressed that they bothered to provide a nice screw driver and Allen wrench to quickly assemble it with too. This product delivers an excellent bang-for-the-buck, great fun, and is highly recommended!
HUGE HIT FOR MY GRANDSON A++++
December 11, 2016
I bought this for my 3 year old grandson and my 7 year old granddaughter. They play it together all the time. I polished the top with wax and the puck slides great now. Love that it is really easy to put away when they are done. Doesn't take up too much space. I recommended buying the offered additional pucks and controller, as they are much higher quality than the pair that comes with this set. Worth getting. The pucks are bigger. I was a the best Nana ever when this gift was open. Not only that, all the kids at the party were anxious to get their turn to play this. BIG HIT
Problem quickly resolved
April 28, 2016
The game came with a problem: the fan underneath the surface was sticking and not rotating. I called Amazon and another was quickly shipped (we returned the original in the packing for the replacement) and the replacement works perfectly.
This was the best thing under the tree this year bar none. Would highly recommend.

Took my 4 y/o son to a birthday party at one of those race track places where the big kids and adults can drive a race car around a real race track. Since he was too young to operate a car, my son entertained himself (and the other little kids) at the air hockey table. We burned through a stack of quarters. The kid was hooked.Since then, every time we go someplace that has an air hockey table --you guessed it-- we play air hockey till they close the place down.So when Christmas rolled around, there was no question what to get him. The only question was, which one . There are tons of them on the market ranging in price up to thousands of dollars. Spotted this one on Amazon and gave it a shot. Well wouldn't you know it, he was delighted and surprised to find this under the tree!If you've ever seen a 4 year old play air hockey you know it is very much a contact sport. He belly flops onto the game board to make the shot. This little unit stands up to all that and more. The only problem so far is that our dog got ahold of one of the paddles and ate it. So we'll be ordering a replacement paddle but wow what a great product. This was the best thing under the tree this year bar none. Would highly recommend.
good quality

bought this as an xmas gift, and was pleased. a great buy for the money! Many PROS:-some reviews said the fan was on backwards when they got it - the fan on mine was put on correctly (just a few screws if yours was backwards, and would not take much effort to flip it).-There is sufficient air flow to keep the puck moving easily. i didn't find any dead spots.-my 3yo son keeps lying on the table (he's 35 lbs), and it has held up so far.-i like that its made of wood and not plastic (or what seems like wood to me, maybe its a composite, but still its sturdy).CONS:-the red plastic slider that you use to keep score keeps popping off, but not a huge deal to me because how hard is it to remember the score? we eventually just tossed them, since we never used this feature anyways.-the feet do not have rubber on the bottom, so if you lean on the table (which you shouldn't be doing anyways!) while you are playing on a hard surface, it slides. on the carpet, no big deal. it wouldn't be a problem if my son (like I said) wasn't leaning and laying on the table.Notes:suggest buying extra pucks and pushers if you have little kids. nothing worse than not being able to find them when you want to play! i'm sure some of them are under my couch, never to be seen again.

A good choice.

I am very happy with this table, especially for the price. Assembly was not difficult and it is level and not many dead spots. Great for kids. My five year old loves it.
Well made, lots of fun!
January 20, 2017
Decent quality, went together well, and providing fun for our family. This is a great size when a full size foosball table is too big or too high -- we can put this on a low table or on the floor. My only (small) complaint is the handles could be made of a bit softer, more rubbery material.
Great Fun!
September 2, 2016
I bought this FX40 Foosball Table for my son's room. This is a nice little table. It's very durable and was fairly easy to put together. My son and I have already had a ton of fun playing on this little table and his friends enjoy playing on it too. If you're not ready to go all out on a foosball table this little tabletop will offer up a ton of fun.
Great family game
January 5, 2016
My grandkids loved and still love playing. I sent this as a Christmas gift for my grandkids in Las Vegas so they wouldn't always be playing video games and they love it. Their dad, mom and friends have also played. This is a great way to bring the family together.

Great Game!
January 22, 2017
I bought this as a family gift for the holidays. It is really a lot of fun. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that the air supply could be a bit stronger, and the surface scuffs very easily. However, it is also easy to clean and remove the scuffs, so all in all we really enjoy this game. We had a full sized hockey table for years and years, until the boys broke it and we fixed it enough times until it finally had to go. We no longer have room for a full sized table, so this was a wonderful alternative and they can't lean on it and break it's legs! This is a great product and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who has teenagers, and for adults who just like to have fun.
Now that I have it I have to say it is really a nice table for the money
January 17, 2017
This table is exactly what it was described as. In fact after reading some of the negative reviews I was getting very worried about it before it arrived. Now that I have it I have to say it is really a nice table for the money. I bought it for my 6yr old grandson and he and I have played over 10 games over the weekend. I would not recommend for children older than 7 though since it is child size for sure. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the red tab score markers are flimsy plastic that get moved constantly when your arm touches them and they also get pulled off that way. It's such a nice little table to have such poor quality score markers on it. Not disappointed though.
I could tell it was a good size for him
January 6, 2016
We ordered this air hockey table for my 8-year-old nephew as a Christmas present this year. As soon as it was delivered, I could tell it was a good size for him...large enough to where he can't cheat and reach his arm down to the other end of the table! The table was packaged very securely and none of the parts appeared to be damaged during delivery.Assembly was very easy (for my husband at least) and took about 15 minutes. The instructions were a little unclear on whether the metal washers used to hold the legs in place are supposed to go on the outside or inside. We put them on the outside which worked perfectly. We plugged in the fan and it spun with no issues. One issue I saw with the table was that the air does not blow as hard through the table in the corners which slows down gameplay a tad bit. Other than that, the puck seemed to glide along the table pretty nicely...better than we were expecting for this price point! Another nit picky issue with this table is after a goal is scored, the puck has to fall into the "dispenser" at the right angle for you to be able to take it out easily....otherwise, your fingers have to dig around for a few seconds to pull it out. Then again, a child's fingers are smaller and may be able to grab the puck out more easily than my adult sized fingers.Overall, this is a great air hockey table at a great price!
Great for the holidays!
January 20, 2015
OK so I read other reviews. Here is my take. One of the legs came with hardware backwards. Still was able to screw on.The fan power not quite enough but for the price it was fine.Fan was installed correctly! Now for the life experience part! This little Air Hockey table was a huge hit during the holidays! Everyone played it at least once. Great for kids from 4 to 16!And honestly my 18month old had a great time with it too.The curve corners make all the difference! So great having people not zombied out in front of a video game or TV movie.Get one, get playing, get laughing, get communicating!
Big hit for small footprint
May 1, 2014
Visiting kids all love air hockey, and I purchased this to get them to interact with one another without their accursed 'smart' phones. (That's a whole other rant I won't bore you with.) I didn't want to mismanage precious gameroom space with a larger table that would only get used twice a month, so I jumped on this item at this pricepoint. Still works well, and my kids' trashtalking skills have greatly increased. I gave 4 stars due to the fact that assembly of the four legs is required, and some of the screws were absent. They were easy to replace with a quick search of the junk drawer.
Satisfied
December 20, 2012
I ordered this Air Hockey for my 6 and 7-yr-old grandsons for Christmas. The reviews were good and said it was very sturdy. It does appear to be well-built but, unfortunately, one of the braces underneath the table was constructed backwards and also detached with the nail holes broken. The other 3 braces were all nailed and glued properly. Instead of returning the game, we will just glue and clamp the brace hoping that it will hold okay. Also, there were no holes to attach the end pockets to the table so we had to drill them in ourselves. I'm hoping that it's worth it -- we'll see after the kids play with it for a while. All-in-all I was somewhat disappointed because the price was a bit higher than other models so I thought it would be of better quality.Update: After we got the Air Hockey table together correctly, it turned out to be a big hit with both of my grandsons and also the adults! The kids are still playing with it -- which I think is a great alternative to being locked into their video games and devices. It also seems to be as sturdy as described. All in all, I am now very pleased with this purchase.

Pricey but great starter table for kids!
October 14, 2017
Ordered on Wednesday night and got it Friday Morning. Gotta love prime shipping as I wanted this delivered before my son's birthday Sunday Oct 15th. I was debating between this one and the much cheaper "Best Choice Products Striker Zone Tabletop Soccer Foosball Table" for $30 less. Unfortunately, the guaranteed delivery date for the Best Choice was "after" my son's birthday so I went with this one. So I ultimately paid for expedited shipping because I feel they are exactly the same foosball table. I rated this one 4 stars because of the price as you can get a full sized table for $80 at walmart. Aside from the price, it was easy to put together (about an hour and 15 mins). Instructions were clear and all parts were present. I recommend using a regular phillips head screwdriver instead to screw the parts together faster. I already played several games today (saturday) with my sons a day before the party and they love it! The bars spin very well (for those that play with spins lol). Feels sturdy and long lasting. The only downside is the score keeper. It's VERY difficult to slide between numbers and my 5 yr old son accidentally hurt his fingers trying to move them. Not sure if some oil would help but that's the only downside of the foosball table i can think of so far. We just played it on the floor but I think it would be better if you placed it on the dining table for better positioning.UPDATE 10/21/17 - After playing well over 100 games with family and friends, the scorekeeper became a lot more loose and easier to move. So it just needs some play time to take care of that issue. Again...great board!

Great game. Poor legs...
January 8, 2017
If assembled properly, which isn't really difficult, the product is nice and solid. My family is really enjoying it. I took off 1 star because of the legs. The solid parts of this table are all pressed board. They will not hold a screw for very long. The manufacturer therefore inserted a threaded metal sleeve into the legs. However, if you play the game vigorously - ahem - then the metal sleeve itself will dislodge. I removed all the sleeves - they were basically falling out on their own - and reset them with hot glue. So far - so good...If that fails to solve to the problem I'll probably just replace them with regular pieces of real wood.
Great item
December 31, 2016
This foosball table was purchased as a gift for my 5 and 8 year old daughters and they absolutely love it. It came on time, was very easy to put together, and the quality seems to be very good. My only complaint with this item is the rubber pads that cover the four feet bend off and tear off almost immediately. Not a big deal as we can replace with stronger felt pads, so overall I highly recommend this item.
Pleasantly surprised for $80

For $80 this is a pretty good pick for a mini foosball table, works well and looks good.ProsGood graphics/attractive designSupport beams for under foosball playing fieldIncludes 2 balls that fit the unitBall return on goalie net (don't have to stick your hand in those typical tight goalie holes to retrieve the ball)ConsNot durable- I don't expect this to last a yearAssembly required- not a huge deal but only about 6 of the 20 screw holes actually lined up with the holes in the connecting boardsVery skinny, need to place on a skinny table (width-wise) or it will be difficult to play

Good starter table for the little ones.
August 2, 2017
Works well but is quite flimsy and light weight. The puck doesn't move as smoothly as it probably should on the air flow. Still a pretty good starter air hockey table for young kids.
Smaller than expected
May 9, 2017
This table is a great game. We have enjoyed it. It is a little smaller than I expected. And when it arrived it was a little damaged. I never contacted the seller, (I needed it for Christmas, and was late ordering it). The table still plays good and our kids have loved playing it.
Great use of time
March 6, 2017
Bought ours Christmas 2015. It was a hit when it worked, but it's been sitting for several months now that the fan/motor isn't working. I'm online sifting through reviews to see what others have done. Great use of time :-)

October 14, 2016
Size is perfect and kids love it! But the fan it came with was making a ton of noise and not working well. We had to buy another fan and replace it.
Excited, then disappointed
January 9, 2015
We got the table on time. Assembly was easy. The main problem is that it did not come with pushers or pucks. We put it together to make sure all the parts were included and the fan worked. Everything checks out fine. I wanted to request the pushers and pucks but it was pretty difficult to find out how to do that. I have never had a problem with Amazon before. It was a little disappointing, but I went ahead and ordered some new ones rather than spend any more time trying to request. Once we get the pushers and pucks in I might change my review.
it is what it is - good for the price
December 24, 2012
its an inexpensive air hockey table. good for young kids (under 10). its simple to set up, light enough to move, has some dead spots but its not that evident unless the puck stops on that particular spot. We only had it a few days and it serves the need but if you plan to use it a lot, forget it, go with a full size more robust table. Will report how long it lasts, it will be a race between my sons out growing it or it breaking. I would say it is what I expected so not sure if that is a 3 star or 4 star.

Note the player configuration.
June 15, 2017
I am disappointed by the player configuration, 6 rods of 3 players each. I should have looked more carefully before ordering but I expected 8 rods with a 1 2 3 5 5 3 2 1 configuration. Having said that, seems well built and son likes it. So far.

Not particularly well made, but functional.
OK for kids, not sturdy enough for adults, needs to be larger for adults, nice components except for goals which are flimsy
November 19, 2016
It's probably fine for kids but I got this on impulse for an adult party (along with an dartboard and table top air hockey) and it just wasn't big enough to really enjoy it. It appears to be well built and it looks nice however the plastic scorer and goals are rather flimsy. The metal poles that hold the players are nice, as are the players themselves and the handles. It even disassembled easily for when we moved. The main problem is that it's not heavy enough for an actual fun foosball game where people get rather excited, so we had to buy velcro and a small table to secure it to. After that, the game was pretty much OK. I just wish it was larger and sturdier. I'd be willing to pay twice the price for a sturdier game that was maybe 8" longer and a couple inches wider.

Would be really cool, but apparently ours came with defective felt on the bottom of one of the pushers. Before I realized it my kids played with it christmas morning and the rough plastic edge scratched up the whole table. So day 1 it's already completely scratched & I have go buy a new pusher. Bit of a fail. Also, the scoring mechanisms on each end are on top of the goals, and within minutes of playing we all had scratches on our arms from bumping into it. The game is fun to play, but I don't think it's very well built.

It fun but when it arrived it was missing bolts for the legs, a score keeping arrow. The leg has already fallen off due to only one bolt. The other score keeping arrow fell off while we were playing. Not very well made.
Playcraft is not well made
December 30, 2015
I will start by saying the poor review is not because of Amazon but the maker of this product. We received this from Santa and it seems His Elves goofed. The box was missing the assembly pieces. We contacted Amazon and as always, they rock- and sent us a new one. Opened the new one to find there was a hole missing on a score board to screw it in (so we drilled it), then the table puts out no air. My kids 5 and 8 don't really notice this and just pass the puck back and forth. Nonetheless, this is junk. The makers did very poor assembly. Maybe I just got the Lemon but I given this experience I would not recommend any air hockey table purchases from Playcraft, they seem like Play ("pretend", "useless") sports. Again, Amazon handled situation very well, thanks!
I'm going to keep it, but I expected better
February 25, 2013
After reading all the great reviews, I was expecting something that it is not -- that is a quality build. On the underside of the table, the corner bracings are tacked and glued-in. Two of the four braces were sheared-off. I only realized this after I spent time putting the table together. I kept thinking the wood was used in packaging. Then when I took a closer look, I realized where they belonged. Some finishing nails, clamps, wood glue, and time could have put it back together, but I just couldn't pay 80 bucks for something that came broken. So I sent it back and Amazon sent me another one. This time when I opened the box, I knew where to look. Sure enough, one brace was half way broken off. Now that both my young kids have seen both boxes and games - I just couldn't let this one go. So I got out my wood glue and a few wood screws. I can't see returning it after these modifications. Hopefully it lasts. If you buy one the assembly is very easy. The only problem is you'll want the table high enough to see the holes for the mounting screws on the catch. Also, have a drill and small drill bit ready. The catch for the goals uses wood screws and a pilot hole will help a lot.As far as use: the action on the table is perfect for K-6 kids. The airflow is medium-low and a slow puck will stall out on the rails. Also, the puck will sometimes need a little jiggle to be removed from the catch.
Defective, yet fixable
November 13, 2011
I bought this table as a Christmas gift for my young sons. Two things had me nervous, though: the price is awfully low for what this is (does cheap price mean cheap quality?) and the two-star review from REM reporting a defective unit blowing air the wrong way.Being paranoid, the box came and I tested the table out long before Christmas came and when the kids weren't home. If the air hockey table I got wasn't working, I wanted plenty of time to return it and get something else.Well, right away it was clear that the table was NOT working. But for this, I really want to thank REM. If I had just plugged this in without any prior knowledge, I might have assumed the table was just really, really weak (which for the price is a plausible possibility, yet you CAN hit the puck around successfully) or I would have returned the thing altogether. But REM said exactly what was wrong; the fan was blowing air the opposite way. This is easy to test, of course. Right away, either your puck is doing its proper little sliding "float"--the familiar thing every air hockey table ought to do when you plunk your quarters into it--but also if you put your hand underneath where the fan's motor is, if you feel a LOT of air hitting your hand, well, that's the air that is supposed to be coming up through the little holes on the table.I was bummed. But then I thought, "Why not just pop that motor off and see if I can turn the fan around?" And that's exactly what I did. This was easy: four screws, pop the fan guard off, turn the motor around to face the opposite way, put the guard on the other side, then screw those four screws back in. No problem, it was working perfectly. Five minute fix.So the defective table was totally fixable, and the problem was a pretty simple one on the manufacturer's side. At the same time, I cannot endorse any product that comes to you NEEDING to be fixed. If you're remotely handy, then maybe this is a complete non-issue, though. Two extra things: the box the table came in had clearly been returned. Someone dropped the ball (the puck?) there, then. Clearly another customer had returned this table and someone on the other end--Amazon or whoever else--didn't check it or fix anything. Maybe I even got REM's returned table, who knows? Maybe this is just one table that two customers have had to deal with, considering the other many positive reviews. Still, it's something to keep in mind before you order. And secondarily, four screws that were supposed to have holes for them did not have the holes for them on the table. I just applied a little elbow grease and screwed them in anyway. Again, this wasn't a big deal, but it does make you realize that quality control was not priority number one. Two mistakes on one table doesn't make me want to recommend the product. Now, once I did my fixes, I must say, it IS a cool table. The round edges by the goals are a great touch. It's a good size for little ones--not too big, not too small. The pucks are smaller, the paddles red and smaller, yet plenty big for adults. There's the number dial for keeping score, one at each goal, and a goal that leans the puck out for you when someone scores. I like it enough to NOT return it (heck, I put too much work into the table to give up on it now!). It is not yet "kid tested," though, so I promise to come back post-Christmas and perhaps update my review. Even so, there's a lot to like here. If this table had come the way it was supposed to run, I would have given this a five-star review. (Is two stars too low for a defective but fixable table? I don't know, but I just feel ANYTHING that comes defective can't get the "passing" three-star mark.)My bottom-line advice: If this is for you and just for fun and you're at all comfortable with basic fixing, go for it. If you're getting this, like me, for someone else, like your kids, you'd be wise to just test everything first so no one's young heart gets broken. But if you don't want the trouble, then don't let the glowing reviews fool you; there are clearly quality control issues and it may not be worth the headache. Amazon makes returns easy and the box is relatively light for what it is, but heck, I'd hate to return something so huge, just to have to mailed off to another customer, as it turns out. Consider investing in something better.

Excited my 8 year old with this as B'day surprise gift. After 2 months, I am observing that legs have become shaky and it might not last an year. Look like it expects a very gentle handling - but if so, will such foosball be fun?. Already see the kids starting to spend lesser and lesser time with this.

Shoddy Design and Quality Make it Overpriced
February 1, 2016
A very good idea, with a bit of poor implementation. It's very fun, looks sharp, and is lightweight. Easy to construct. I don't mind the three handles-makes it easier to keep track of and not go spin crazy! But, within days the legs started getting wobbly and falling off during gentle play. Couldn't believe it, until I checked the leg screws don't actually screw in well at all to the legs. I went and drilled in some additional screws and now it's holding up well, so far. It's just an embarrassing design flaw on their part.I do regret paying what I did for it - maybe half it's current asking price would be reasonable. Should've bought something higher quality, or a full standing table.

I'm so disappointed in this. I put the legs on and within minutes they broke off because my kid leaned on it a little. I tried to put the threaded pieces back in the particle board and it just broke again. Such a waste of money. Go buy the plastic one, at least you won't waste your money.
Dangerous! Power switch fell off leaving live cable exposed!

Power switch fell off after 5 months. 90-day warranty means it's now junk. Also very dangerous. Where the switch used to be, the power cable has a 1 inch gap in the connection. If a little kid tried to "troubleshoot" that himself without telling an adult first, there could easily be a very serious electrical shock.
Terrible. Box was missing parts and instructions.

Don't buy it!

My grandsons loved this. Unfortunately the motor died after they had it for 2 weeks. Very disappointing. We ended up getting our money back.
Big disappointment

The fan already stopped working and the table was not even used very often. Stopped mid game and this was a gift for my grandson.

Get Foosball elsewhere

Sport Squad FX40 Foosball TableAfter I put this game together, the men wouldn't move because the playing field was high due to it being warped. Joola is sending me a new playing field, but I had to remove the goal net, the end piece, and a side piece to remove the playing field that provided all the serial and factory numbers to Joola. Once I get the new playing field, I will essentially be putting the game back together again. I wish I hadn't purchased this product because, for the money, it's not worth the aggravation and the game isn't made all that well.
Poor Customer Service
January 10, 2015
This had all the makings of a good product. However, the assembly of the frame was rather difficult. After numerous attempts to assemble it properly, I called the manufacturer. Customer service said a number of people were having the same issue I was (i.e. the screws would stop turning and couldn't be tightened properly and couldn't be backed out). The rep took my name and address and said a new frame would be sent out on 12/24. Over two weeks later, I have yet to receive the parts as promised. I also have been unsuccessful in getting customer service to call me back to get a status update. While this product seems to have high ratings, I would not recommend it on the off chance you get one of the defective units. I currently have $80 worth of parts sitting in my basement.
Sides don't line up
December 22, 2013
Poor quality control in manufacturing. The bottom of the table is supposed to slide into grooves along the sides. Unfortunately, the grooves on the short sides sides don't line up with the grooves on the long sides of the box. So it is impossible to assemble.
