I purchased the RB2132 in tortoise shell, with G-15XLT lenses, and in size 55mm. I spent a lot of time reading about which size to buy. I am a male that weighs 172 pounds, and stands just under 5'11". I have a relatively small head (based on the hat size I buy). I ended up going with 55mm, even though my gut told me to get the smaller size. I am glad I didn't, because the 55mm looks and feels great. I don't have a big head at all, and these sunglasses look great, at this size.Otherwise, the quality is top notch, and these glasses are simple and feel rugged. The tortoise shell is dark, and can almost look black while somebody is wearing them. Sometimes the light hits the frame just right, and gives them a little more character then plain old black. I highly recommend this frame color for a man or for a woman.The lenses also seem to be of high quality. I like that they are made of glass instead of plastic, which I feel will make them more scratch resistant. I just feel like glass seems to be of higher quality then plastic.The only con I can think of, is that sometimes I can see a minor reflection of my own face while wearing the sunglasses. At first I thought it was a smudge on the glass, but then realized it was my own eye that I was seeing a reflection of. This is only sometimes and under certain light conditions, but happens often when I'm driving to my left eye, the eye closest to the sunny window. I have always worn sunglasses that kind of wrap around the shape of the face, instead of this boxy type of style. So, I can only figure that I am seeing this because the lens sits a little bit out from the face, which is allowing me to see the reflection. This negative is still outweighed by the look, feel, and quality of these glasses.I received the black Ray-Ban case with my glasses.Overall, I think these are being sold at a great price for what you are getting, and highly recommend these sunglasses.I payed FULL PRICE for this item, and am of course giving my unbiased review.

These are very solidly built glasses. They're very high quality And they look great. I buy a lot of sunglasses. And at $64, these were a real bargain. The only thing that would be nice to have purchased is lenses that adjust with the sunlight. The lenses on these glasses are dark enough that they are not useful to wear when it's bright out but not blinding sunlight. I bought the basic lenses. I believe there are some more expensive lenses you can choose to buy which can adjust to the light.

I love these. Was so thrilled to find them at this price, with free shipping. Ordered from this seller and they arrived quickly. Came in nice box with pleather? leather? case and cleaning cloth. I'm extremely disappointed that they don't seem to fit my face as well as my other Ray Bans. They nose piece and the sides of the sunglasses are too big, for me at least. I'll have to have them tightened I guess. My boyfriend tried them on and they seemed to fit him perfectly. I know they are advertised for men - but was hoping they would fit me as well.

i got the polarized version and these aren't as dark as the set of oakleys that i have which i WISH they were but im not one to complain because these are a very nice pair of sunglasses, i needed smaller ones because i have a small and narrow face. the 52's fit PERFECT, i almost got the 55 and i dont regret my decision one bit im glad i did get the 52, they aren't extremely small and the frame fits great, looks great, and the length on the arms dont hang way off the back of my ears either. Still getting used to the smaller lens compared to my oakley's that have a bigger lens.if you know or think you have a small or narrow face, get the 52's, amazon is great with RMA service, if you happen to not like them.

I just received my Ray Bans' 2132 from Amazon and I absolutely love them. I have to admit...I was skeptical at first that perhaps they were not the real deal but after careful research and comparison to another pair RB2132 that I saw in a store, I did not see any differences. The Amazon purchase is the real deal. A few things to note about the new wayfarer's- they no longer have the 7 rivets as the classic wayfarer. The new RB2132 have hinges that look different from what we know but still made of metal. In addition, the RB2132's are also missing the wire in the temples as other predecessors. (note that the classics wayfarers' still have the wire; however, the cost is well over $150 in price. I hope that this information helps.

I have long been a $5 sunglasses person. They got the job done. But lately I've wanted to be a little more stylish and to have a little more quality. Well, I took a big leap and bought new Wayfarers. Wow, what a difference. From the heft to the style to the clarity of vision, these are by far the best pair of shades I've ever owned.A note on sizing. The pair I was interested in came in only 52mm or 55mm sizes. I was concerned about both because i felt like I would be in the middle. I went with the larger size and I'm glad I did. They fit my head size perfectly. I am an average sized person so this size should be good for most people.These sunglasses don't "latch" onto your head like others so be prepared for that. You will feel that these could fly off with a sudden movement (and they might). These are not active-wear glasses. For proper use you will appreciate the loose fit. Perfect for driving, lounging, whatever. Just don't play football in them. But you wouldn't, right?

I bought a pair of these in 2014 and loved them. I accidentally stepped on them and bent the hinges, which I then bent back and they worked fine... But then I dropped them down a waterfall. I wanted the same color and size, and found that rayban had perhaps discontinued the color? Found them on amazon and bought them - they are exactly how I remember them. I have another pair in black, and I don't get nearly the number of compliments as I do with these beige ones.

These glasses are light weight and do a great job of reducing strong light without overly darkening. i.e. they keep things light. Often times I find myself wearing them into a store, my office or home, almost forgetting I'm wearing them.As for being non-polarized, it hasn't made a huge difference. I don't plan on wearing them boating our fishing anyway.

Bought a pair for my wife and daughter and they both love them. Came in nice real leather cases with the velour lining, sealed lens cloth as well. Checked them over carefully..they have the BL etched into the glass and the ray ban logo enameled on the frame...so real! Frames are really nice and classy and they not only are nice to wear according to my wife but in my opinion are really beautiful on her face. Finally they are a nice weight solid but not heavy. I give them an A+

I like this brand and I introduce this to a friend. The quality of the shades is awesome. It comes with all the accessories just like what you would expect from Sunglasses Huts or stores like that. It's been worn for one and a half year and everything's still cool.

Ive been eying these glasses for a while now and finally decided to buy them a couple weeks ago.I love them! they fit perfectly and look amazing. I was going back and forth between the 55mm and 52 mm but ultimately decided on the 52mm after reading A LOT of reviews. I am 6'0" 160 lbs and have a fairly narrow face. The width of the two different size do not vary that much but the 52 are noticeably more more squat (the measurement from the top of the lens to the bottom). My friend has the same pair accept in the 55mm size and I tried them on. Personally I do not like bigger sunglasses so I preferred the 52mm pair. I don't think you can go wrong with either pair it just comes down to preference in sunglass size, larger or smaller.Attached are images of the 55m straight on and and 52mm straight on and side viewAs far as authenticity that some reviews have been questioning... I am no professional but I closely compared them to my friend's and I could not see any difference whatsoever. The pair I received seem to be legit and for $70 you can't beat the price. In my opinion if you've been contemplating buying these I say do it you wont regret your decision. Happy shopping!

I liked a lot of things about these sunglasses: the fit, the materials and finishing, the clarity, and the style. But I had to return them because the lenses were not as dark as I wanted for everyday use in bright sun, too much light got in from the sides and back of the glasses, and there was a noticeable amount of reflected glare off of the back of the lenses. For casual use or cloudier days they would be great, but to be my one everyday pair of sunglasses they weren't the right choice for me. If I did decide to try the wayfarer shape again, I would definitely get the polarized lenses. I didn't think polarization would make that much of a difference, but I was really missing it when I tried these non-polarized ones out. The glass lenses are awesome. They really are super lightweight and thin, and are very clear with almost no distortion across the field of vision. I have a medium to large head and the 55mm size was right for me. The G-15 green tint is pleasant--it brightens up the world without making it garish, but I found I prefer a blue or gray tint for truer color. That's not to say these affect color dramatically, but it is noticeable.

Had a pair of the same glasses before purchasing these. I lost that pair while on vacation and when I bought the new glasses they did not seem to have the same coloring to them. The older version had a slight green tint, which made everything seem a little brighter. Still good glasses and I do like them very much, just not exactly the same.

Great glasses...very stylish, and at a superb price as always, from Amazon.Just keep in mind, that even the 55mm ones are a little smaller than the big wayfarers.Rayban now makes a zillion types of Wayfarer Models, and this one is a little smaller.

The product is genuine Ray Ban. The tortoise design gave it a nice vintage look, very classy. However, even the large wayfarer size is still too small for my round face, it keeps slipping and did not go well with my facial structure. Wayfarer seems to only work well with long or oval face structures.If you have a round face and can make it work, let me know!

The glasses I received were great but my niece wanted the black frames. When I or I ordered them in black (from a different vendor) and in the exact size as these, they fit too large. I don't know why there has to be so much confusion over sizing, but if you are picky, I suggest walking into a brick and mortar store. I do not mind sending things back, but paying to return an item is something to consider. when sizing might be an issue.

I love sunglasses.These ones liked me the most cause of the shape, it fits good almost on every face. It's no so aggresive like the original wayfarers but it keeps the spirit.I inspect VERY CLOSE the building quality of the sunglasses and in this model the ONLY found TWO things i didn't like1) The glasses are not tightly fixed in the sunglasses frame, cause when i wipe it gently it sound and it feels kind of loose. but it's just SLIGHTLY, enough to feel it but not for being a problem2) I noticed (with the TORTOISE color model), that the frame is a transparent material with a brown tone AND on the exterior is painted with a texturized pattern that makes the TORTOISE model. I don't like the fact thet is PAINTED and not part of the FRAME material. But again, this is not a problem, it's just the quality expectations i have with sunglasses.The TORTOISE color can be noticed just if you look close (Like talking to a person), but a view from a far distance looks like BLACK, if you want them to look brown i recommend to look for the HAVANA model that is a lighter tone.OVERALL,I love how they fit in my face, liked the building quality and the color. I recommend it.

These RB wayfarers are a matte black material (622) not the standard shiny black. It's nice too, good quality, but not what I was expecting. It's made in Italy. They looked authentic to me, my seller was direct from amazon.com.

A good pair of sunglasses with timeless style. These appear to be good quality and authentic by RB. The matte black frames look more subtle, which I've got. However, these don't protect my eyes as much as others from the wind and Sun glare especially when the glare comes from the sides. Thick frame bezel feels more obstructed and obvious in the corner of my vision. Admittedly, I like RB glasses and style. So, that contributes somewhat to the decision of my purchase. If you're a RB product fan, I don't need to recommend. Otherwise, there are other glasses out there offer the same quality, better protection for less.

I was worried that these may be fake due to some reviews. When I got them, the box they came in was a little beat up and there were black smudges on the rim of the glasses and the silver "r" and "b" of the "rayban" on one temple was coverered in what looked like black paint or glue! I did not want to exchange them since I was going away and wanted them for my trip so I took them to Sunglasses Hut and compared them to the ones there and they were identical. I was also able to use my nail and pick off the paint/glue with no trouble. I believe they are genuine and worth getting them from Amazon if you are not a perfectionist.

The RB2132 sunglasses are nice pair of sunglasses. They're sturdily built, have clear lenses, and are my favorite sunglasses I have to worry about.Fashion wise, the G-15 green lens looks fine. With these sunglasses on, everything is darker without too much color distortion. The shading is evenly spread. However, these lenses are in no way a decent replacement for polarized lenses.Dust is very easily attracted to these sunglasses. You will find yourself wiping them clean constantly with the microfiber cloth, or simply learning to live with it.Overall, the construction of the sunglasses is very sturdy. Be aware that while it is sturdy, it's by no means indestructible. If you're harsh on your sunglasses by whipping them around and tearing them off your face without regard for them, I would recommend cheaper alternatives.I gave these sunglasses 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price point and lack of polarization.

Definitely are smaller than I thought Frames would fit a toddler most definitely not unisex maybe some women would fit in them

When I first saw these I loved the look and decided to order a pair. For reference I always use Smith optics primarily the Maverick style which are quite a bit different. I receive the Ray Ban wayfarers in 55mm tortoise shell and right away they look almost comical on me. Way too big for my face. Granted this isn't then sunglasses fault but they look very wide and sit far off the face. I wish the tortoise shell came in a 52mm although I still think that might be too big. Great looking sunglasses just be careful the style fits your face. These are going back. Definitely free returns by Amazon helps.

I bought these to replace wayfarer 2140 and I ended up returning them because the lenses were much smaller. Be careful when sizing these "NEW" wayfarers because when the size indicates 54 or 55 that is the width and the same for both the New and original but there is a big difference with the height. The NEW style are maybe 33% less in height so the lens and the sunglasses look much smaller than the look I thought I was buying as "Wayfarers"

These are really nice but are very small. I have a narrow face and they were tiny. I returned them to get the 55mm.

I purchased the tortoise design and so far it looks good and legit. The only issue I had was that there were some signs that it might have been used. When folding or moving the arms, there was nearly no resistance. All of my other pairs of sunglasses including my older 2140 design had resistance. This one had very little to no resistance as if someone used this a lot (opening and closing numerous times will do this). Additionally the Ray-Ban sticker had some air pockets in it and seemed like it was recently placed or something. These 2 factors made me think I received a used one. But then again, who knows?*update* - I had it replaced with another because the button from the case came off. What I'm wondering is, what side should the "RB" logo be etched on? Because the first one was etched behind the left lens. While the replacement has the RB logo etched on the outside of the left lens. Keep in mind I'm talking about the letters "RB" not the word Ray-Ban. Also the indented Ray-Ban logo on the arms look slightly different. The font on one of the them looks slightly thicker than the other. Also on the inside of the arms, the word "Ray-Ban" appears sharper in one and a bit more blurry in the other. Took pictures but because the differences are so subtle, it's hard to tell by taking a picture.3 stars because the arm movement is actually bothering me quite a bit. Also it doesn't sit all the way flush, but I just realized that the description says that it might have this issue...

I took a chance on these and saw some of the negative reveiws but wanted to see for myself. They do appear to be quality Ray-Bans but as others had alluded to - the lenses are a little loose and create a clicking noise when moved. For the price, I'll save the 30 bucks from their main website for a little clicking noise but others may want the real deal.

I thought I was getting the smooth finish black plastic however I ended up with the black matte finish. I currently own the black matte on another pair and they are not very durable. Leaving them in a hot car causes the material to break down and become sticky. I wanted to get away from that matte finish.

They were a lot smaller (shorter) than I was expecting. Perhaps because I chose the cheapest style?

Bought these to replace an identical pair I bought 4 years ago. They seem to fit a little better (tighter) than my previous pair, but I am disappointed in the plastic seams along the edges. This must be a change that Ray Ban had made in the past few years, but it gives a much cheaper feel to the rims. Still worth buying, because I love the overall look, but I wish Ray Ban would return to its more high quality product.

I've been a longtime fan of Ray Ban, especially the Wayfarer line. These are my least favorite pair I've owned. I have 2 pair of tortoise frames, both the 55 and 52mm, both are scratched and needed to be replaced. When I got these, I noticed the frame seemed lighter and the arms still have rough edges. This just isn't the quality of frames I'm used to. Otherwise, the lenses are fantastic as usual.

Pros:-Arrived right on expected date.-Legitimate pair of Ray Bans, not fake. I went into one of the Sunglass Hut stores at the mall to get a feel of real Ray Bans and to see if I ordered the right size for my head. My order had the RB engraving on the lens, metal hinges, and it felt about the same weight as most of the pairs I tried on and inspected at the mall.-Great fit. I ordered the 55 mm and I'm happy with what I got. I am a 22 year old male, pretty average sized head, so I think most guys would be better off with the 55 mm. The 52 mm would be better off for the ladies.Cons:-All that was in the box was my sunglasses in the Ray Bans box, and a wad of brown paper crumbled up. The glasses were loosely moving around in the box. If it wasn't for the casing, my glasses would've been broken.-One of the arms, where it connects to the metal hinge, was badly filed like someone forgot to give it finishing touches with a fine-grained grinder. I had to pick out pieces of plastic shavings that were still attached.-On both arms, right where your ears would be, there were scratches. Not like a single scratch, but like small scratches someone would make to scratch out a name on a wooden desk in high school. I immediately inspected the glasses before putting them on so I'm sure those weren't made by me.-Finger prints and smudges were all over, except the lenses. Again, I held the glasses with the small rag that came with it and so I'm pretty sure I didn't make those.Overall: Legitimate Ray Bans BUT, feels like I got the glasses that were on the display rack, and not one in storage that hasn't been manhandled by everyone who stopped by at the store.

Have one RB2140 902/57 54 mm lenses polarized which look great and vintage. Thought to have one more casual everyday type of glasses and found a 2132 model 52 mm lenses with black rubber frame. My mistake I did not read reveiws as never could imagine that size matters.Delivery was on time, but item... 2 mm on each lens made a huge difference in overall look of glasses. They are small, as was mentioned here, like for kids. I dont have a big head, but they looked tight and funny.Now going through the exchange process with amazon to get 55 mm size of the same model. Cant blame the item (it was original) but would expect more guidance from seller.Lesson learned, never assume and read as much reviews as pos.

I did not like these as the sum comes in the sides. Wrap arounds are better for me.

They are really wide they don't stay up. Also i thought I was having a visual disturbance turns out to be the lens after I had family look through them they have a blurred spot in the center of the lens. Both sides. Big disappointment for the price of them you would expect some quality. Nice looking glasses tho.

These glasses have been purchased last year and to be honest, the quality is not good. They're flaky and not the high quality that i am used to with Ray Ban Glasses. Taking a closer look, they have the authenticity features ray ban glasses should have but i've had 10$ glasses that were better. I doubt they're the real deal.

Quality seemed good and look was god, but I couldn't keep them on my face. I would have loved to keep them but they were crazy wide. I don't even have a small face and I had to keep pushing them up. I had to return them unfortunately.

i would rate it one star but i realized very few product here gets only one star, so just trying to be nice...first, the most terrible thing - one of the lens is loose! when i picked up the glasses from box, i heard something but i didn't notice, when i was wearing it i heard it again. then i realized something was not right, i shook the glasses SOFTLY then i can hear the sound of lens is moving, then i touch the lens i made sure that the lens wasn't fixed well.secondly the angel of the legs is way big than reasonable, and i don't think my head is small...if there were not good packing with Ray Ban's sticker logo on the lens, i would have thought it's used product.i had to return it, and will never buy glasses from online store as you never know... even though the price does sound cheaper than Sunglass Hut or other stores you can find on the street.

They were not new, had scratches and chips on the frames. The hinges creak a lot. Come in a soft case, with nothing else. For $140 these are awful. Very disappointed in Amazon for this.

A few specifics.....these glasses are significantly lighter than other RayBans....These glasses also do not have the signature "RB" etching on the inside of the lens. The lens also appear to be plastic, not glass. I only give this two stars because of how quickly I received a refund so I could purchase a pair of RayBans at my local department store.

I didn't like these glasses. First I thought the frame was plastic but it was actually rubber. This was as described but I didn't read it to understand it. Also, if you have an long/oval face like mine the 55" will be too small for your face. Overall its difficult buying glasses online as you don't get to try them first. I also had a problem with the seller who initially would not refund my money because I returned the lenses without the cardboard box or cleaning wipe which I threw away when I received the package. Thankfully Amazon sorted this out for me. Overall it was kind of a hassell buying these, waiting for them then shipping them back for the return when they didn't fit. Hopefully you will be a much wiser purchaser by either trying these on in the stores before hand or at least knowing for sure which eye glass shape suits your face before purchasing.

This item arrived very quickly with my free Amazon Prime shipping. That was the only good part of this transaction. The package arrived badly crumbled, the internal box was also in bad shape. The sunglasses appeared so cheap that I have severe doubts that we authentic Ray-Bans. I ordered a slightly different model from another vendor and the difference was remarkable. The heft, quality and sturdiness of my second order made these look sick and strengthened my feeling that these glasses form this vendor were not authentic.

I purchased two pair of these "Ray Bans" for gifts in Dec. 2015 and loved the quAlity at first but have noticed the Ray Ban signature on the lens is coming off! I've owned several pair of Ray Bans and after many many years have never had the signature logo come off. Makes me question the authenticity of the product! Now my warranty is out so I'm stuck with them!

The first pair of these I ordered 6 months ago were perfect. I ordered an exact replacement after dropping the first pair to the bottom of a river. What came from Frames Direct were clearly knock-offs. They appear to have been a previous return, so I'm not sure frames direct is at fault. The lenses were thin cheap plastic and the "etching" scraped right off with my fingernail. Also they came in a brown case (not black as the previous pair). Finally, the Rayban logo on the side was just glued on top. They weren't even a good knockoff. Come on scam artists, take some pride in your work! Just from the heft I could tell they were not real. Return processed easily for a replacement, hopefully my next pair will be authentic.Update: 27Sep2015Second pair received. Even more fake... if that's possible. This pair also had all of the above defects, and did not have the etching in the lens. Cancelled order I'll try from a different seller (not Frames Direct).

Ordered a pair with the polarized lenses and they were great for a few weeks. Loved them. But then the tint on the lenses started to blister up around the edges, so you'd get pockets of light/silver peaking through the glasses. I sent them back and thought it was just a bad draw of luck. Got the second pair and around week 4, same deal. Sent back for a refund.They turn to a waste of $100 within a months time.

Cheap fake Ray Ban sunglasses. Been wearing this brand and model for years, and when my last pair was accidentally crushed, I bought these to replace them. They are obviously fake as soon as you see them, plastic lenses, cheap single hinges and lightweight. Beware!!

Real ones are great...these are fake. Amazon keeps refusing to post my review. Sun Goods glasses are NOT authentic. Buy the real ones...from Amazon or another reputable company

Fake!! Do not purchase! The Ray Bans I received are fake replicas and I'm returning them. I bought an identical pair of Ray Bans from an authorized dealer and when I compared them the weight and quality of the sunglasses is not the same. Don't get fooled. These replicas have all the correct markings on them, however the size of the writing is not the same as authentic Ray Bans. My brown sunglasses also came in a black leather case instead of the brown leather case. That was the first mistake I saw. The size of the warranty booklet and cloth was also smaller than the authentic pair.

THESE ARE FAKE! Not even well made fake. I went to the store and we compared them with original Ray-Ban and of course the difference was obvious. I will return them now, but don't waste your time on these. FAKE GLASSES

It was totally fake, I got it and didn't check it, till I was out of country and I gave it to my niece as her birthday gift, was the worst time in my life, the top bar and temple and the frame was mat green like a plastic nothing like a original one. wish i would have opened it before I give it to someone as a gift or I could bring it back and return the item but I already gave it as a gift in the party and I couldn't get it back.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!THESE ARE FAKES!!! I just received mine in the mail and opened the box. Didn't even have to give these the Ray-Ban test. Cheap imitation, exactly like something that you would pull off the 5 dollar shelf at a gas station. Each side of the frames of the ones I received were different sizes and slightly warped. A definite that it is not the G15 lens (cheap plastic). I am extremely discouraged that AMAZON could allow this to happen and will immediately return my purchase.

These are definitely fake ray bans... Mh original pair were lost so I purchased the exact same pair. What I received from Amazon were a poor imitation of what I owned previously. The lenses are not polarized, they are lighter in weight, and there is are 2 "seams" I can feel in the plastic of the frames. I've tried to contact Amazon at least 3 times with no response still. So now I've paid $80 for some imitation ray bans that I could have picked up for $20 elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if possible.

The box arrived within a bigger box bubbled wrapped within, but when I took out the sunglasses box it was beat up and bent---not the end of the world, but still a little worrisome. After opening the leather glasses case it was clear that this wasn't new. The case was worn with heavy creases in it and there was a scratch across the one of the lenses. To be fair to amazon this is the first time I have been burned and sold a lemon but if you are looking for a present and don't have the time to deal with returns I highly recommend you pass on buying raybans sold here as you might be getting a used pair.
