These are great. I had two guests shortly after I bought them. My guests were able to keep their suitcases off the floor and when they were gone the supports just fold away for storage. They were sturdy enough to hold large suitcases.

This product is great for the price. It served its purpose in our Air BNB

Pretty easy to set up. Seems sturdy enough for a large suitcase. I purchased to place in my bed and breakfast. I've had 7 guests with no issues!

It is a great addition to our guest room and much appreciated by everyone visiting. There was some assembly required but it was very easy.

Easily folds but it does take up space folded or not. Chrome is a nice finish and the straps are black. When weight is on it it is sturdy. I had trouble assembling it but you just have to get through it. Really look at the picture details.

We bought several of these to use in our vacation rentals - they were substantially less expensive than others we found,and were easy to put together. They will serve their purpose.

Arrived on time, as described, fully assembled, packaged well, and undamaged. It has quality design and manufacturing, and will serve its purpose well in our designated guest bedroom.

strong and sturdy and holds heavy luggage. Don't have to bend when unpacking. I have a bad back and this is a life saver. Also great for when I have visitors. Don't like to put luggage on my beds.

Review #110. I bought two of these racks for our guestroom and to use when I'm packing for a trip. Initially, I wanted to buy the nice wood racks, but I'm on a budget and my house is nice but it isn't fancy. These racks come already assembled. They look nice and I'm happy with my choice. I live in a coastal area, so I'm hoping they don't rust.I think they're sturdy enough for a bag up to 26 or 28 inches, but I wouldn't use just one for a super large, packed bag. Those are usually easier to manage on the floor or on two racks. Overall I'm please with my purchase and glad that my in-laws don't have to stoop to go through their luggage.

Well constructed. I believe I will get many years of use from this product. It will be helpful to our guests when they visit, as their luggage will be sitting up higher which will not require them to squat down to the floor.

We have lots of house guests that come for just a weekend and this is a great addition to the bedrooms to keep suitcases from exploding on the floor! Also helps when we pack for trips. Sturdy and a great price.

I run several airbnb's and these racks are surprisingly high end for the price! Very classy and holding up well even as my properties are near the beach and the salt air corrodes many things, even indoors. Sturdy and fits many decors.

This was a good buy. I had guests coming in, and the guest room currently has no closet. Ordered this; problem solved. This IS a bit complicated to assemble. One of the other reviews has good instructions, which I copied and used. If you lay out all the pieces and really LOOK at them, you should be OK. But the top part with the straps has to be put on the right way. Once you're done, this is a champ.

A great inexpensive solution to where shall your guest place his bags. Easily assembled, and very sturdy for design and materials.

An economical choice if you need a luggage rack. It does its job. We put it in our guest room, and maybe we should have sprung for something a little nicer looking. However, this will work!As other reviewers have said, read the directions carefully before assembling. I made sure I could identify which were the long and short legs ( done by a small discrepancy in length, and the pictures of where the press buttons are on the legs), and then assembly was quick and simple! Rack folds up easily to store I a closet or under bed!

My guests laugh when they see this, but really appreciate a place to rest their suitcase or duffle bag! Lightweight, but sturdy and strong, this rack helps welcome guests and saves their backs.

Good quality, okay price

Nice product, but NOTE: the product picture is misleading. the rack does not come with rubber tips on legs. The tips are hard plastic, which in my experience can scratch wood floor. We bought our own rubber tips.

As an AirBnB super host, my mom suggested I get one of these. I'm glad I did. It works and the price was fair. It's utilitarian, but who needs decoration inside a closet. It helps keep things off the floor.

A luggage rack can be a great convenience if you have overnight guests who do not stay long enough to warrant unpacking their suitcase.Practical, light, and (compared to a similar item I bought elsewhere)it is good quality. The slight bend to the legs make it look quite nice. I like these metal versions (as opposed to wood) because they look better in a modern setting. This one can be closed and put away in the back of a closet (much like the wooden counterpart). However, the one I had gotten earlier (at "Improvements.com") even though not as good quality, was modular (the legs snap off) so that as to occupy even less space when put away.

It is always nice when you visit someplace that you don't need to put your suitcase on the floor. This luggage rack is the second one we have purchased so that both guests have a place to place their suitcase. We had a wooden one that broke under the weight of a suitcase and we needed a replacement.The service was quick. The rack is sturdy. we will enjoy for many years. I didn't give it a 5-star because after I had purchased it, I did find it for a bit less but I don't regret the purchase!

I haven't used this yet, but I think it will be fine for occasional use .. made kind of cheaply but didn't pay much for it either.

One of the legs was bent and the end cap was broke in the package and took some effort to bend it back into place to attach to main frame. I had to super glue the cap back on the base

I purchased one of these in 2015 which I am still using. Needed another so ordered this from the same company. The new one is smaller in width where you lay the suitcase.I will keep it but it isn't as nice as the first one.

It's hard to assemble and is a bit flimsy feeling, however, it does work fine and gets the job done in my guest bedroom.

I ordered 5 and most of them went together pretty easily. One is not useable as the legs will not fit together. Not sure how sturdy they are as we are using them for smaller suitcases. Disappointing.

This is an ok suitcase holder - it looks sturdier and wider online in photos than when it arrives, It does the trick but if you have an extra large suitcase not sure I would trust it.

Quality seems to be good but these are smaller than the ones you see in hotel rooms. Therefore I have to be more careful when loading and unloading my suitcase so that it doesn't fall off the rack.

The item pictured is different than the one I received: in the picture it appears to have black plastic around the legs, but in the one I got there is no plastic: the chrome goes straight to the floor, meaning it may mark up woods. It also makes the rack look cheaper. The rack works, so I'll keep it for me and hide it in the closet - but will have to keep searching for one suitable for guests.

We have a vacation rental and bought two of these luggage racks for guests. They're super lightweight, which may be an advantage for some, and they work fine. In retrospect, I wish we'd opted for something a little sturdier.

It does what it's supposed to do. No construction needed. It came on time to accommodate my house guest's luggage. I'm happy with it so far.

Not happy with the quality. They're a bit rickety. Won't purchase again and too much trouble to return. Bummer.

The first time we used it one of the straps tore. We sent it back for a replacement. We are hoping it was just a bad one and the next one will be better. Other than that it was a very sturdy rack otherwise for the money.

Beware when you open the bags to assemble this product. There was rust powder in the bags that stained my bed linens when I tried to assemble the product on the top of my bed. And the fabric straps were stained with rust powder too. The powder seems to be inside the hollow metal frame; the frame does not look rusty. Nevertheless, I returned this item.

It was much flimsier than I expected. It arrived with one leg tip torn and broken off. I bought black cane tips to replace them.

Putting this together was much more difficult than it needed to be. The instructions are minimal and looking at the assembly, one would think it's easy enough. - Not so. The manufacturer needs to clarify the sides with some kind of marks and make clear that it is important to watch for which way the straps are hanging before putting together the legs.I am not a novice when it comes to assembling items, for the most part I do it for a living. However, this thing eventually required that I take the whole thing completely apart, straps and all, in order to get it together. The way it's designed is simple - but takes more than two hands.I guess this is the reason it is the least expensive model available.Hopefully it will be a sturdy luggage rack.

I was sold on these by ratings and price, ordered 3. I had not appreciated that they needed to be assembled, but I've assembled many things and was not put off...until I tried. The lower legs pop into the top with pressure operated buttons, which required more pressure than I could generate with my hand but managed-with excessive hassle-with a thin screwdriver. All went okay till the 4th leg, which could not fit because the upper/receiving leg portion was not correctly aligned, seemed to be bent off the required 90 degreen and could not be pushed into the needed position. I tried to take the whole thing apart to try again, but was not able to do so, as the balky buttons could not be pressed at all and the problematic leg was stuck. Needless to say, I'm returning the 2 unassembled ones and the partially assembled one-a packing headache. Yuck.

You get what you pay for is so true with this product. I purchased three of these racks and thinking that you can't screw up a simple luggage rack, oh was I wrong and should have tested the product before my trip. Arrived at my location and the first thing I received was a major cut because the poor workmanship. When trying to put the legs in the top piece they didn't fit. After much frustration and lacerated hand I examined the pieces and found that all the leg pieces had a flared end that made it to big to fit into the top. I repack the junk and brought them home, I don't know why.

This rack arrived with the leg openings out of round and required reforming to get the legs into the top rack. The chrome plating flacks off when touched. Very poor quality of manufacturing and no quality control on finshed/shipped unit.

One of the legs has no foot protection. Will contact Whitmor's customer service for part. If they don't send immediately it will be faster for me to return and buy another one prime. The stand came with no protection in box. The box was dented. Fortunately, the stand is not damaged.
