I'm quite happy with it, as it is sturdy and nice looking. It comes pre-assembled, unlike some of the cheaper and more flimsy ones. I ordered a medium oak finish and it looks very nice (matching the other oak pieces in the bedroom), and the tapestrry straps complement the finish. The straps are muted in color, the flowers (roses?) joined together by a floral garland. Folded to put away, it's a mere 3 and 1/2 inches, great for someone with limited closet space. I couldn't test the weight it holds, but my guests didn't complain. | |

Took the rack out of the box, unfolded it to set it up, and two of the legs are slightly longer than the other two. It's like a table at a restaurant that you need to put a book of matches under. So now, after spending $40, I have to fish out my wood file to even out the legs. I was thinking that for $40, I could take it out of the box and have it work correctly, but apparently I was wrong. The wood finish is rough, not smooth. It does not sit evenly on a bare wood floor but should be fine on carpeting. It arrived with one large crack on the top board and a second smaller crack. Completely unusable. The cracks could have happened because it was poorly boxed, with no padding around the rack. (The sellers filed a claim with the shipping company, as if it was the fault of the shipping company that the item was poorly packed.) But if it cracked that badly so easily, I have to wonder how long it would have stood up to heavy suitcases. Basically, sorry to say, this item is not "deluxe": it is a piece of junk. | |
