I purchased this for two reasons. The first, I stay at the same hotel every year on vacation, but they don't have luggage racks. I live out of my suitcase instead of unpacking, so without a luggage rack, there's no where to put my suitcase in this particular hotel. As this folds flat, it's easy to throw it in the trunk when loading up the car. The second reason is that my guestroom at home also lacks anywhere for someone to open a suitcase. This provides a great option for that, as I leave it in the closet and inform them that it's available if needed. As it's all metal, it's quite sturdy, and should last a lot longer than a wooden stand, and it's very well priced.

I bought two of these ... one for my home ... and one for my daughter's. I wanted to be sure that there was one there waiting for me when I visited. I have typically put my suitcase on the floor. But I got back surgery since my last visit ... and I didn't want to bend down that much. It also served beautifully for guests I have had in my own home. They feel like they're in a hotel. Good construction ... no assembly. Perfect!

These are a distressed copper-brownish black. they are heavy and a bit different from my wooden one. great for a guest room.

This is a great size luggage rack. Smaller than others I've ordered for my B&B. Convenient to store and set-up.

Pulled it out of the box, and it looked so much nicer and classier than the photo on the web site. Should give my guests a touch of class and some extra space. I can see using it in my closet when packing for a trip. Just put it in the clost and not walk aback and forth. Am planning to buy another for second guest

I had got this for my husband because he is cabin crew and in my mind, it is something he uses all the time on the job. I thought it would be a nice thing to have so his suitcase is lifted up off the ground. Oh, boy was I right. He loves it. He likes that there is storage underneath, we put our dirty clothes hamper under it. It looks immaculate and crisp with it being wood. I also love how easily it folds. We have probably had it a good six months, and it is lasting and holding up great. I was thinking about getting another one of these for our guest room because I just believe that they look more polished than the metal ones. Would buy again.

I wanted this for my spare bedroom guests since space is limited. This could easily slide under the bed but it just as easily tucks behind the door. My spare room is small and doesn't have many surfaces for guests to conveniently access their luggage. Rather than having them just leave it on the floor or use the bed, I decided to get this as a nice alternative. It is sturdy and can support a heavy piece of luggage pretty easily. It really resembles the kind you see in hotels. I really like the quality and convenience it offers. I would definitely recommend this luggage rack to others.

I live in Arizona where scorpions are not a friendly welcome to house guests. They are rarely found inside, but just have the extra comfort just a little extra storage off the ground is comforting. Folds up nicely and looks very high quality.

Excellent product - sturdy, great size and easy to fold away. I have one in both master and guest bedrooms as they are great for putting decorative pillows and bedspreads on when ot using as a luggage rack.

I purchased this for my husband who travels often as part of his job. Because of the negative reviews I read, I was a little nervous about the condition I would find it in upon delivery. I'm please it say that the luggage rack is not scratched, cracked, or broken and the finish is exactly the color I was expecting. There are no areas where the stain was applied unevenly or the surface is rough. It shipped in a heavy box with foam padding wrapped around it and extra cardboard protecting the corners and joints.The size is perfect and the nylon straps that the suitcase rests on sewn securely, not stapled, around the frame. The bottom shelf/shoe rack is also very solid and well made. In my opinion, there is nothing flimsy about this luggage rack and the price is very reasonable.I am so glad I decided to take a chance on this product!

As a flight attendant, I've gotten used to having my suitcases laying around everywhere. I bought two of these racks and have found suitcase bliss. I have baskets under one to hold items I may not need to pack every trip, and have a third and fourth suitcase stored under the second one. The color is perfect and the construction is sturdy. I should have bought these years ago.****Update. I bought these in December 2013. These two racks are still in perfect shape and they are used every day. They've held up and have made my suitcases so much more manageable. They are worth the price and work very well.

Not top of the line but I also did not pay that kind of money for it either. But is works great for what I wanted. Some place for company to put their suitcase when they are visiting besides the floor.

These aren't a fancy luggage rack, but they are very useful and sturdy. I ordered two. One was perfect, the other had one strap that had been put on backwards. It wasn't a big deal, I unscrewed the two screws securing the webbing, turned it over and wrapped it around the bar and put them back in. No worries.

Very solid. The one downside - I finally realized why hotels usually have wooden ones - they are much less noisy! If this guy hits a wall or a hard floor, it can make quite the clamor.

There is nothing 'wood' about this product (like the description states). The frame is metal. That being said, it looks good and seems to do what it is supposed to do (pretty basic). But if you actually want wood, buy something else. The add also says 'assembly required' but it doesn't require any assembly - it comes fully assembled out of the box. Would be nice if the seller actually READ their own add.

I really have not used this yet...just preparing to have it in the guest room when my family comes for a visit. It looks sturdy and well-constructed, so I hope it holds up well.This will also be used when I pack for travel instead of putting my suitcase on the bed. I place a big plastic sheet on the bed first before putting the suitcase on it...I also wipe down my suitcase(s) or other travel bags when I get home...there's no telling what sort of bugs are there!)The rack folds up nicely so it can be stored without using too much space in the closet.Only 4 stars because when I placed my order I saw another rack that's about $10.00 less than this and looks the same...just did not want to return/reorder!

Seem well made although I have only used them a few times so far. My husband travels for work and wonders why we didn't buy these years ago to help with packing. Great for when company comes to keep suitcases off the floor and at a convenient height.

A great rack. I bought mine for about $27 slightly used. I would not buy for more than $30 as this thing will get beat up with luggage. Straps across top are not taut but are as shown in photo. Guests who stayed thought it was fine. I added felt pads to prevent it from damaging walls. It's definitely good quality and heavy. Next time, I would buy the less expensive metal ones without the footboard that have more taut straps across the top. I would imagine the weight is lighter too for storage in a closet..

This is a nice little luggage rack and I keep it in my guest room. My only disappointment is the height. It's very short which makes you bend down more than I'd like. Other than that, it's made of good quality materials.

Nice looking luggage rack and the shelf on the bottom is a real bonus. Comes already assembled, so that's great. Have only used it a few times so can't speak to its longevity or ability to hold up to lots of use. It is wood, but its fairly light wood so don't think you could bang it around like you would a metal rack. But its much better looking than the metal luggage racks.

Easy to fold up, though a bit confusing at first. I purchased it for a guest bedroom, however guest do not seem to use it. I like the shoe rack u dear earth, but they put their shoes on my carpet. (Sigh). The only worry I have with this model is getting it too close to the wall. There is a model with the handle, but it did not have the shoe rack. In hind sight I wish I had gotten that one. Works as intended and the finishing and quality are fine.

This luggage rack is for a guest room that we recently remodeled, and I really looked carefully at all the ones offered - and this one came highly rated. It showed up very, very fast but unfortunately is was poorly packaged and was broken in two places. Shattered, actually. That being said, I went back on Amazon and reordered, scheduled the pickup of the old one, and had the replacement in two days. I was impressed. The rack is pretty good quality for the price and looks great in the guest room closet. The folding bottom rack is really a smart idea since it can either hold shoes or another small carryon bag. We store the guestroom linens, pillows, etc. in plastic zip ups on both shelves and it looks pretty nice. I definitely recommend this rack.

This is a lovely luggage rack made of quality material and it is very sturdy. My only complaint is that there were two scratches in the wood even though the packaging was undamaged. One of the scratches was 3 inches long and quite deep, but it was on the bottom shoe rack so it was not that noticeable. I debated returning it but decided to cover the marks with my handy furniture marker rather than go to the trouble of returning it. Besides that, I'm happy with it.

I bought this for our guest room. It is nice to make guests feel welcome with a little extra something. I like the quality of this luggage rack. Solid and well made. It folds up and fits into the closet with no problem.

very useful and very good price

One of the straps has begun to sag after only two uses. The bags I put on there are under 50 lbs. Don't understand why this happened!??? Don't think I'll by this one again.

I bought two of these, and they are okay. You just need to know that they are made of metal, not wood as advertised.

I like this luggage rack but sometimes when you have the rack folded up the bottom try falls to the side.

This does the job I was hoping it to do. The one downside is that the bottom shelf is held by magnets when the rack is folded, it's not very strong.

I bought this for our guest bedroom. It works well and is sturdy. The carry on suitcase did not lay level on top because the top four legs of the luggage rack protrude up past the straps. If you want your luggage to lay flat and level then look for another design where the straps make a smooth top. I also was not happy with the height, it could have been a little taller.

I received the luggage rack right on time. I only gave it 3 stars because it came with a large sticker that took a full HALF HOUR to remove. I had to use goo-gone so I hope I didn't damage the surface as it took a lot of scraping. Maybe this will make the manufacturer use something easier to remove. Otherwise it looks good.

One works perfectly, one not so much - the bottom rack doesn't stay in its spring-loaded ball keepers when closed. It was sent as a gift, otherwise I would have returned the one. I could have fixed it but I wasn't there long enough. Otherwise, they are very good quality and a bargain.

The design is sturdy and the bottom rack is very useful. But I ordered this one because it is supposed to be black....it is not, rather it is a dark brown color. I had read the reviews about the color of the straps but no one mentioned that the unit is not black. Very disappointing but too much trouble to return.

I would have given the luggage rack five stars because it was perfect (looking) out of the box, lightweight and inexpensive. However, after no more than 12 uses, two of the plastic gliders shattered and came off the legs. So the rack is both wobbly and scratching the hardwood floor. I've found some replacement parts on line as I have no confidence that Winsome Trading, the manufacturer, would send replacements. The trick, though, is figuring out what size gliders to order that will the tube legs, since they are sized by inches/mm AND gauge of the tube. Overall, disappointing product.

Poor quality, specifically the black webbing. Many runs in the material. One of the two was perfect. The other got sent back.

It says espresso but it's very cherry wood. The pictures almost looked black which would have been perfect. I wish the color pictured was more accurate so I would have went with something more espresso/black that matched the rest of the furniture in my guest room.

I received my first luggage rack cracked. Since the box doesn't have any interior styrofoam or protection, if the rack is handled poorly during shipping it could easily be broken. I returned it for another rack since the quality seems good for the price. The second one I received has two bottom slats where there is no stain or top coat. I don't know if it was a rack that was used and returned or if it was an issue with manufacturing. Trying to decide if I want to deal with the hassle of having to exchange it again... On a positive note since I like to look at life with the glass half full, the rack does seem sturdy and will work well as long as you don't get two defective ones like me. =0)

Much larger than the dimensions on the listing indicate as I believe those are dimensions for luggage area, I was not even able to store it in the closet.

Way too low to the ground. I was very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend the purchase.

Firstly, the rack is a bit large. Secondly it had several scuff marks and chips. As another reviewer noted, the metal brackets looked "antiqued" and not in a good way. They were practically distorted and looked rusted. The fabric color was purplish. Also, the construction of the rack top is different from the provided in hotels. It is very easy for luggage to slide off it. Returned.

This is ok,, but not as sturdy as I had hoped. Not sure how long it will hold up. I would not buy it again.

Bought this for my husband who travels frequently. Thought it was black from the picture but when it arrived realized it was antique bronze. Really not our style. Even considered not getting it out the box but thought I should just to be sure that it was as bad in real life as pictured on the box. It was so back it went. Can't comment on any other aspect of this luggage rack.

I purchased this luggage rack exactly 6 weeks ago. I travel for work and have a medium sized bag that never weighs more than 30 lbs completely packed.One of the wood legs cracked - right above where the pin is to make the "x".I am extremely disappointed that this is out of the return period.

We purchased two of these luggage racks in January. Both were delivered damaged. One was completely unusable as one of the top bars was broken. Not worth the money.

I bought this luggage rack to use for packing and unpacking for trips and for guests to use however, one of the top horizontal supports broke in half by merely setting a medium size piece of luggage on it which caused the wood to split in half. It is nice looking but poorly made and not functional and for that, it deserves one star.Unfortunately, due to the size, it is more cost effective to throw it in the trash than to return it. What a waste.
