But the removable inner tray makes cleaning a snap and it is a perfect size for small outings or light grilling at home

As others have written the latch should be beefier. Also the connection for the gas controller to the grill needs to be strengthened. But the removable inner tray makes cleaning a snap and it is a perfect size for small outings or light grilling at home.
Great Little Grill

Nice compact grill! We use this on our boat with brackets mounted to the railing. Auto ignite went out but Coleman sent replacement parts. Would probably get the one without that feature next time.
Smallest Grill
October 23, 2016
This is the most compact grill ever, which makes it perfect for small spaces. Yet I was able to make brats for 10 people! At first I thought it wasn't working but the flame is so intense and blue that I just couldn't see it. I use a grill mat, which helps disperse the heat a little bit. All small grills have some difficulty with hot spots so you need to move the food around. This was exactly what I hoped. So compact and easy to transport yet does the job admirably. My only fault is the design of the latch. I would recommend getting the carrying case since the latch will not keep it closed on its own.
Good grill
September 29, 2016
Great little grill, I have cooked hot dogs, steaks, burgers, and chicken. Perfect for a family picnic, it will cook 10 hot dogs at a time, 4 burgers, or 2 steaks. I have used my about a dozen times, no problems. Clean up is easy the grill pops out, and so does the grease tray. Make sure you order the caring case for traveling. Only takes about a 1 minute to set up and about 1 to take down. Great grill.
Love, love

Love, love, love this product! I ordered it last minut for camping and it was perfect! Heats up quickly, very easy to use & clean.I also purchased the griddle attachment and the carrying case and couldn't be happier. They're all great products and I'd recommend them to anyone. This little grill can do 2 decently sized burgers at the same time so it's perfect for camping or tailgating for two people.
So Far So Good. Nice Little Grill.
April 13, 2015
I use this at home and it is the perfect size for one or two. I was wasting too much charcoal with a small grill and only one or two items. Plus this grill is up and ready at the last minute. It's nice that the lid closes while cooking and I have found that setting a water soaked piece of mesquite or hickory wood chunk on the grill and closing the lid while grilling helps with a truer charcoal taste that can get lost with gas, even though flavors are good even without. Only drawback is the lid latch for travel or carrying is terrible! It won't stay latched and can open up while carrying, spilling the grill plate to the ground. I attached a 'scrunchy' (hair rubber band) to the handle on one end and pull that onto the latch and it keeps it locked. Also, my lid handle fell off from not being tightened right at the factory so you may want to check that Otherwise no complaints. Works great for my needs. The photo shows a 6 inch NY strip steak being grilled. Could easily get a few more on there. I've had it for about a month or so now with weekly use. So far so good.

Got lucky in that Amazon had a lightening deal on this grill. I had a charcoal type in the past and wanted a new grill but gas type for use when I needed it and not having to find charcoal. I usually do grill in the fall and spring but wanted to have a grill compact for when the disasters hits. Handy, Compact and store all the parts inside the grill till when I need it.

Just got this little beauty in the mail. Assembled it in about 20 minutes. Will be cooking on it tomorrow for the he 4th of July on the boat. Not sure how people are saying the directions are not clear, I had absolutely no problem assembling it. For the price you cannot beat the heh is little portable grill. I recommend it!

Cut the hole out of my outdoor patio table, set it right in without the base, secured the camping propane tank to the table, filled it with fire glass.

Boom, cheap outdoor propane table thing. Lowes charges like $100 for those things. Screw that, this is $25. Suck it lowes .
Perfect! Very good product for the intended use and price

This grill was excellent for our small balcony, it lit up perfect and the put together was very easy, we love it... We recommend to have handy at home, used daily sometimes so the home does not smell and save electricity; very good product

January 12, 2017
Overall, I really like the design in how compact the unit is and easy to carry. I was a little disappointed when I first set the unit up. There are two screws that hold the burner plate in place ( a long one and a short one). The long bolt was not secured. I tried and tried to reattach it, but was unsuccessful. Not sure if it is a design flaw in that the bolt is too short. Or, if the bolt became unsecured/broken during shipping. Ultimately, I ended up going to the hardware store and finding another (longer) screw to use with a few extra washers to fill up the extra spacing.I was able to fire up the unit. It works great. The flame is very even and it seems to heat up quickly. It would be nice if the entire unit was fabricated out of a thicker metal. It does seem a little thin. But again, the design is cool and compact. The surface area is definitely big enough to support a camping trip or tailgating for my family of five.
Leaves beautiful grill marks
August 9, 2016
PROS: Heats up very quickly. Leaves beautiful grill marks. Surprisingly nonstick. Unexpectedly strong BBQ flavor (perhaps small size makes the vaporized drippings go more into the meat?)CONS: Needs even lower heat setting; minimum is still very hot. Thin metal construction.

Having read all the reviews I was a little hesitant to buy this. However, I am not disappointed. The insta-start works with the first push of the button. I make sure the cover is latched before picking it up. Lining the drip pan with foil and spraying the grill with Pam makes cleanup easier. It is not the sturdiest item ever made but having been warned from previous reviews I can deal with it. Cooking burgers takes a little practice because like most small grills it has hot and cold spots. I always precook chicken a bit and finish it up on the grill. Have not tried veggies yet. Overall, I think for the size and portability it is a good buy.
Excellent Grill for the price
October 27, 2015
Excellent little grill for the money. Setup was easy: just install the four little legs, attach the gas line and you're done. The push button start works like a charm. Now if it lasts that will be even better. The only issue I have and knew this before purchasing was that you aren't suppose to use pots/pans on the cook surface. It is coated with a non-stick surface and the heat and pressure from the pan will cause it to crack. I have used pots to boil water but I wouldn't do it often. Other than that I love this grill. It is small and compact enough to store in my side box on my truck and large enough to cook a great meal while I'm on the road.
Pretty Good Grill for the Money
September 22, 2015
I've used it / cleaned it a few times and figured it was time for a review. First, I have no problem with the low heat setting. While it isn't "smoker" low, it's attenuated enough to not flame up. My chicken kebabs turned out quite nicely and the wood skewers were NOT burnt to a crisp. While not heavy duty like a Weber Q, it's also much lighter and much less expensive. Although it's made from stamped sheet metal, it's stout enough and should last years with proper care. Also, it lights instantly, every time. I put foil over the drain pan and I recommend others do the same. It makes cleanup much easier. Why only 4 stars? Because Coleman has had time to fix a few of the common complaints and has not done so yet. The locking hasp really needs to be re-engineered; it's too floppy and not the least bit positive. It's a relatively minor inconvenience that can be mitigated by awareness though when you are carrying it by the handle. Also, the drain pan does have sharp edges - dull them with a wet emery cloth.

June 29, 2015
Since I live in an apartment, I was looking for a "stealth" grill that I could set up on the patio and quickly tear it down and bring it inside when I'm done using it without getting grime and grease everywhere . I love the fact that the grill plate and drip pan fits in my dishwasher. As others have said, the drip pan has sharp edges but if you're careful, you can avoid getting cut. Also the latch isn't the best so you have to make sure it's securely fastened if you plan on carrying it by the handle. The biggest design flaw is that the lid doesn't come off. It's permanently attached. It would have been nice to be able to stick it in the dishwasher along with the grill plate and drip pan. I have to awkwardly to hold the entire grill over the sink upside down with the lid open to clean it thoroughly, making sure that no water gets on the bottom part where the igniter and burner are. It's also hard to get under the spigot this way.Unfortunately this is the only game in town when it comes to grills this size with removable dishwasher washable components. Overall, I do like this grill and it serves it intended purpose.

Questionable build quality
September 14, 2017
I have an old Char-broil grill very similar to this that I've have for many years. The old one was the standard version where this the "Deluxe." Both seem to be pretty similar design though this one has a few nice benefits.

1st are the screws that keep the legs from folding under the grill. A nice feature. 2nd, and most important to me, is the push button start. Being a non smoker having a lighter laying around to light the old one was always a problem. With this one it will no longer be necessary.

The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is build quality and quality control. There is a wind blocker on the inlet venturi. It has a tab welded to it so you can hold it in place with a screw. That tab was improperly installed and the screw hole on the tab was inside the guard instead of outside. I drilled a hole in it to fix the issue, but it is a bit difficult to drill because it us stainless steel. The second, and bigger problem, is the handle for the lid. When I installed the screws even the slightest of tightening caused the threads on the plastic handle to strip out. The screws were to short to have adequate engagement. Also, the plastic isn't really strong enough. I used longer screws and one side still stripped out. Tomorrow, when I have time I am going to install thread inserts. That should fix the problem but should also be completely unnessesary.

Once those issues are felt with I expect this grill to offer years of service just as my old one did.
Works perfectly & great value.
September 10, 2017
Pretty good. It works perfectly. Food grilled on it taste amazing. Only gripe is the quality. Don't expect it to last for years. The high heat will make the paint flake. Metal is on the thinner side. Its still a great value though. I see myself using this for about 2 years. I recommend getting the standard not the deluxe one. Only different is the ignition switch.
Great Little Grill for the Price
September 8, 2017
Ok so I bought this grill to have at my house when I want to cook quickly (usually use charcoal grill). I have 2 children and when friends come over for playtime I don't have the time to spend 30 minutes creating a charcoal fire to throw on a few burgers or hotdogs. I also anticipated taking it with us camping this past summer. Our of the box my husband spent maybe 20 minutes putting it together. Not difficult but have to take your time. Mine was in good shape with no missing parts or dents. It did ship in the original box and the box was all beat up but inside it was fine. I took it camping with us 2 weeks ago and it worked out great. Used it to cook corn on the cob (in foil) and hot dogs and hamburgers. Perfect amount of space for the 5 of us - cooked corn then put on meat. I always spray my COLD grill grates with non-stick spray (Pam type) and that makes clean up so easy. Agree that you definitely need to put something under the bottom to catch grease etc. I used aluminum foil sheet as we were camping. The heat was evenly distributed as far as I could tell. The piece of metal that is over the flame and below the grate is definitely thin so not sure how long that will hold up - I sprayed that also with the non stick spray out of the box to help with clean up. After cleaning it I let it dry and spray it again to get ready for the next use. The turn on/off knob is a little wonky so I unscrewed the propane after cooking just to be safe. My igniter has worked fine so far. For what I paid for this grill through Amazon I am so happy with it. I would like to get another to take with me on trips and have one to keep at the house. Treat it with care and don't expect it to work like a grill that costs hundreds and you will be happy with it.
Nice little grill
September 7, 2017
When I first saw the box, I thought for sure I had misread how big this grill was going to be, because of how compact it was. I soon learned it's due to it coming in a thousand pieces (okay that MIGHT be an exaggeration). It was fairly straightforward to put together following the directions, however it took almost an hour. In the end I had the grill I had expected, sitting fully assembled in my living room. I bumped my review to 4 stars for 1 reason. Because screwing on the handle is one of the last steps, and for whatever reason, I can only get one screw in. The other side will screw into the handle just fine when you do it apart from the lid, but add the lid into the mix and it strips when I try. The predrilled hole must be off just a little bit. My husband says he can muscle it in so it's not a deal breaker for me, but not ideal either. The rest of the grill and all the parts seem to be quality made.

This item came very quickly. Assembling it was very easy. Following the instructions step by step made things much easier. The package of screws were each identified properly. The easy open backing was very good.

The bbq works great. It is very easy to operate. The quick start was a nice surprise that works great. The price makes it very affordable. I would recommend this for all campers who want a small bbq to take with them. There are smaller ones of course, but, you can put more food on this one.

Great Grill, Messy Cleanup
January 8, 2017
This is a great grill but the cleanup is very time consuming. It took me 12 minutes to cook 5 burgers, but 60 minutes to clean the grill and drip pan. I never was able to get the caked on residue off of the grill and the mess in the drip pan turned to lard after sitting for awhile. I also loved the stove top accessory as I cooked bacon and eggs using a frying pan ... no need to purchase the griddle if you get the stove top.The grill cooks great, gets hot enough to sear (cooked two steaks first time) and being brought up on Weber's, I loved the fact that you can close the grill and cook chicken, steaks, etc. Temperature control was very good. Grill got to 525 degrees at full on and 250 degrees at low setting with the lid down. Verified by heat gun.I thought about getting a grill mat to cover the grill, but then there would be no place for the grease to run off. I replaced this with a Blackstone Dash griddle/grill which also provides for lid down cooking and a larger cook area. BTW, the fold n go is good for 2 people, but not so good for 4. After doing some more research, I decided to go with a griddle because they are so much more versatile ... can cook eggs, bacon, pancakes, hashbrowns, toast, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, chicken, kabobs, veggies, fried rice, etc, etcl.I had very high hopes for this grill and have always liked Coleman products. Regretfully I returned it because of the messy and time consuming cleanup.

It is not easy to adjust cooking. Either it burns meat or do not cook at all.
It has "issues"
November 28, 2015
I had originally rated this five stars. Now, eight months later, I am having a different experience.Problem 1: Using mostly the dishwasher to clean, the grates have become pitted and are rusting. After reading a ton of reviews it seems to be a common problem across brands. When I replace this it will be with a unit having a stainless steel grate.Problem 2: The tub below the grate that functions as both a flavorizer and drip pan is un-coated and has a coarse finish. It is impossible to clean. The result is an “off”—smokey taste that I find increasingly unpleasant.Problem 3: The little latch pin is hard to maneuver, especially when the grill is hot. It is constantly, inadvertently, closing which means that you have to struggle a bit to open it to turn or remove food. I had to saw the thing off.The bottom line is that this little grill was great for about four months and then steadily declined. It is well priced and gets very hot for a nice sear. Your mileage may vary.
Coleman Fold N Go
September 16, 2015
Somewhat fragile especially locking lever. Difficult to put back together after using. Cleans up easily, all in all I'm happy with it for the two of us. Its' portabably meets our needs.
Best feature is its compactness
August 13, 2013
Pros: Extremely compact, good sear marks, easy to clean, InstaStart really works, can sit on any surface without burning it due to the legs.Cons: Cooks unevenly, lid hard to fit onto bottom for carrying, lock mechanism hard to engage and won't stay locked. The portability factor, which is great, only works if you have the Carry Case so that it stays closed while you are carrying it. The lid hinge is loosey-goosey and makes it hard to get the ill-fitting lid onto the bottom so that you can lock it. The lock is flimsy and doesn't hold the top and bottom together well, plus it unlocks if you even touch it or try to move the grill. It gets 3 stars for portability and the fact that it does cook well once you get used to the uneven cooking surface and adjust for the fact, for example, that burgers will cook much faster on one side than the other. Because you have to buy the Carry Case in order to really make this portable, it is way overpriced.

Prepare for long assembly and bring a lighter because ignitor button doesn't work
July 10, 2017
OK for a little grill at this price but long assembly (was not expecting and took it on weekend vaca only to discover I had to spend over an hour assembling) and the ignitor button does not work so a lighter needed to be used. Also, when carrying it the legs pop open, causing everything but the lid you are holding by the handle to crash to the ground. Once you get it put together and lit it works ok but I wouldn't buy again.
Get a Weber.
May 4, 2017
We've had a few of these and liked them. Except this one. Not sturdy. Kind of flimsy. Piezo lighter system not quite right. Returned it for a heavier Weber. Using a lighter is fine.

March 21, 2017
It's decent, it works well enough, but the construction is a little rickety. It's definitely not the most stable portable grill. However, it cooks pretty evenly and will definitely do the job for a camping trip for 2-3. I like the legs lock around the top to keep it closed, especially if you're storing it in a place where there are bears (although make sure you still store this is a bear box or away from your camp site if that's the case).
Gets the job done, but cheaply made with defects out of the box and very poor warranty support
November 2, 2015
Cheaply manufactured to last a season or two before needing replacement. As has been noted in other reviews, the lid handle is the product of a faulty manufacturing process and one side was stripped out of the box so the handle could only be attached with one screw, which soon gave up and forced me to handle the lid with oven mitts. The other handles aren't attached much more securely. Also, the finish is not porcelain like similarly-sized Weber grills, it is just high-temp paint so the finish scratches down to bare metal easily. One of the ignitor wires is about 2 inches too short to be attached where intended. The burner has a hard time lighting or staying lit in a breeze, and sometimes the flame jumps to the regulator air intake. On the bright side, it was easy to assemble, and does a decent job of cooking steaks and sausages in a reasonable length of time with the lid closed. I wish they'd spent and charged a few more dollars on this item and made it more durable. UPDATE: Filed a warranty claim with Charbroil for new lid handle and they requested proof of purchase (for a $1 lid handle???). I sent copy of POP to customer support e-mail address, they acted like it was never received, and closed my claim without sending me a replacement lid handle. Glad I saved the original packaging so I can return for a full refund and replace it with a competing product which will hopefully withstand one use without breaking.
Good for the price
January 22, 2015
Good for the price. However, the igniter doesn't work (seems to be a problem with many of these grills). I had to use a long-nosed butane lighter to light the grill. You have to assemble this thing. Not complicated, but there's a lot of screws, nuts, and bolts. Make sure you have a phillips screwdriver as all the screws have that head. Also need a pair of pliers to hold the hex nuts. The hardware (nuts and bolts, etc.) are packaged and well labeled and parallels the instruction manual well. The images on the manual (black and white) aren't necessarily clear (cheap printing job). And some images were hard to discern. The ground wire from the igniter was was way too short and I found it difficult to attach it to a fitting. Nevertheless, the igniter didn't work anyway. Once the grill got hot, it cooked well. I broiled some veggies and they got some nice grill marks. You have to turn the grill on high to get any real heat or cooking on this thing. Otherwise it just warms stuff. This is a small grill, and good for if you have a small party (like 2 or three adults), otherwise it'll take forever to cook a meal, or you'd need several propane canisters. What is lacking is anything to catch any grease. That's seems to be a design flaw. Grease will just fall to the bottom of the grill, and you'd have to clean it out, but the burner element gets in the way, so for a complete clean, you'd have to get a screwdriver and pull that element out to get to the bottom. A hassle. So far I haven't had to since I only cooked some veggies. But a greasy steak or sloppy ribs would cause a mess: the burner protector plate doesn't really catch grease but simply protects the burner.

coleman fold N go grill
July 23, 2016
This is not the best product that Coleman has ever put out. Cooks great, but when you wash and try to put together it doesn't go so good. Lock doesn't work well. You pick it up by the hand and it all falls apart. hard to get the grill part placed correctly to close up. No so great!
Disappointing
April 8, 2016
Received the item fast and well packaged. The only "quality" thing concerning this product is the COLEMAN logo on the lid. The "Instastart" does not make any kind of spark at all. Had to use a lighter. The drip pans does not fit tight either. No comment on the temperature control considering what the product is. You're really only going to get "one" temperature. Easy to assemble. While I have many COLEMAN products, this one is a disappointment.
Paint chip on lid
January 15, 2016
The fit and finish is poor. The lid had a 1/4" by 1" paint chip on the edge of the top. Other reviews have mentioned similar problems with the coating. Note that there was no damage to the packaging. This problem appears to be a manufacturing defect. Not impressed with Coleman brand quality control.
Love the idea but has some quality issues.
September 29, 2015
My grill arrived with a piece of paint chipped off on the lid. The chip was the size of a dime and the packaging did not show any signs of damage whatsoever. This was obviously a quality issue. I was bummed but realized that it's a grill and not a sports car even though it's probably more prone to rust now.I continued to put the grill together to test it out and to make sure everything works before taking it on a camping trip a week later. The only problem I had that day was it took several presses on the igniter before the grill fired up, but it finally did and I was happy.A week later at the campsite, I took the grill out and tried to fire it up. I made several attempts to light the grill using the igniter but this time it wouldn't light. After about five minutes I opted to use a matchstick instead and it worked right away. The last complaint I have about the grill is the latch that secures the lid for carrying does not lock down very well. The latch is very cheap in quality and is placed right where the handle is, making it very easy to accidently unlock the lever while carrying and popping the lid open.Other than that, the grill cooks just fine although, while I feel that it's 6000 BTU is plenty hot for grilling, it is a little underpowered if you use it as a burner with the stovetop accessory (sold separately). It works but just takes a little longer to heat up a skillet than other stovetops.
What a disappointment. After doing the minor assembly
September 5, 2015
I was looking forward to getting this item. What a disappointment. After doing the minor assembly, the paint was already chipping off of the grill and it would not lock properly. It would stay in place for a moment and then the entire grill (including the drip pan) would come up. Sending it back for a refund. As others have said, it's a great concept but seems very cheaply made.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone
June 30, 2017
It's ok. Nothing to scream about. This is cheaply made. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It has a few good things about it how the burner is bolted down. Spend the money on a better portable grill. Made in China.
Handle broke second use
May 31, 2017
The plastic side handle broke after two uses, cannot be repaired. Otherwise the grill size is roomy, great little park or beach grill. Top handle of lid gets extremely hot when the grill is in use, you'll need a mitt to handle. Not self lighting, match required.
Sucks but cheap
December 17, 2016
If you want a cheap grille for cooking once in a while this is OK. You can make a couple sausages or burgers but that's about it.
The top is a pain to use, a hinged hood would be easier. If you open it for more the couple seconds the burner gets too much air and flames up, even after you replace the top and turn down the burner. To keep it in control I have to shut off with top off and relight when back on. The heat control knob does next to nothing, turning it down doesn't reduce the flame much.
I gave it 2 stars based on it's price, that's the only positive thing about it.

September 28, 2015
first of all...the outside box that it came in was in great condition but when I opened it up you could clearly tell that the grill box had previously been cut opened and retaped which meant to me that some one had shipped it back. When I opened it the grill bottom was crushed on one corner and I had to take pliers to bend it and I still can not get it correct so that the cover will sit on it properly. The grill is bent and does not lay flush on the unit. I also had to redrill one of the holes in the handle before I could screw in on the grill. When finally all assembled...the grill did fire up and work. I had no time to return item as I was going camping with it the very next day so I'm stuck with it. I hope that someone in authority will read this and perhaps give some kind of credit on this item.
Not Impressed
August 11, 2014
I read many reviews on this product and figured it was worth a shot to purchase for the price and for the brand. It came packaged great and on time, no bad review there. On the other hand, the product itself is not a good one. Char-Broil is normally a good brand and puts out quality long lasting products, this is not one of them. I understand it was $29.99, but I think that is too high of a price tag. We assembled the grill and one of the screws for the lid handle was already stripped out before it was even put into use on the grill. We were able to get it to work and it seemed to be sturdy. The first time we used it, we took the lid off once it was warmed up and the handle broke off completely. There are 2 screws and washers to keep the handle in place and it still broke, and no, the screws were not over tightened. The paint is cheap and looks cheap, not impressed with that either. I understand it is a "camping-type" grill, but I still was not impressed with the paint job on it. It cooked our food fine but used a lot of propane. Maybe I received a "dud" but all-in-all this grill is not worth the money. Spend the extra money...

Horrible - just plain junk
October 10, 2016
This is the first Amazon purchase that I'm actually angry about. It isn't worth even $20, and is being returned. It's thin steel - very thin; cheap plastic everywhere - there's even a plastic-tie strip holding the gas line in place! The cheap plastic feet are mounted with tiny metal screws that won't bit and thread - yes, you have to mount them yourself. There's no place to carry the gas regulator inside the unit - neither is there a place to carry a gas cylinder. And, if you want to boil some coffee or tea water you need to buy an extra accessory! I'm still using my two-burner Coleman stove and lantern from the 1960's, so its very saddening to see the Colman name of this piece of junk.
The wrong piece caught on fire. :(

I used my grill last weekend, for the first time since I purchased it (unfortunately, past the return policy date). The first time I lit it, the gas regulator tube caught on fire inside the grill. Burned the plastic off the igniter assembly. I don't believe it is safe to use at this point. Very disappointed. Always had good luck with Coleman products in the past.
Unhappy!!!!

Ok I'm totally convinced now that the quality of Colman camping gear is total garbage!!! their sleeping bags are junk their ice chests don't hold up under normal use (mostly the hinges) and now this stove is basically JUNK Super flimsy metal the latch does not stay closed and it does not cook your food that worth a dam. I would return it but don't want to hassle with the shipping and I already purchased the coleman carry bag!!!! Colman used to have a decent product I had one of their 3 burner stoves I purchased in 1991 and I got 20 solid years of good use out of it... What happened.??... China!
Not up to Coleman expectations

Not easy to assemble and when you lift it by the handle the parts rattle inside the case. Very hard to keep clean.

Cheap Plastic Lid Handle
September 6, 2017
The handle is plastic and the metal screws that hold the plastic handle to the lid completely stripped out of the plastic handle during installation making the grill virtually useless unless you like burning your hands. Bought this one bc my old Char Broil (thats 5 yrs old) had the same problem. Was hoping the handle was metal this time around, but apparently Char Broil hasn't figured it out yet. Disappointed that such a small detail ruins the entire grill. Will have to bring ovens now or Jerry rig the thing just to be able to use it.
Even for the low price, not worth it.

I've had this less than a year and didn't even use it until this spring because of some backyard construction. It was fine the first two or three times we grilled but since then it is basically useless. At first, the flame would go out frequently during grilling. Now something is going on and we use about one canister of propane every time we grill and we are only doing a couple of hamburgers or steaks each time. I've had portable grills similar to this before and this one is just a lemon. I do not recommend it.
I was so excited to get this and use it ...

I was so excited to get this and use it for a tailgate. We got to the concert, opened it up, put it together and the regulator was broken. Had to search high and low for another one. Thankfully Bass Pro was in the parking lot and I was able to get a new grill. I tried looking for a replacement regulator for it but it's $15 and sold out everywhere!!!!! Not impressed at all.
It took three tries to get one that worked. ...Not after all.

It took three tries to get one that worked. first one may have been stolen from my porch, second one shot yellow fire from the vent. Had to ship the second one back. Third one is working.
Update. 6/9/16 The third one has started to do the same as the first hissing very loud and yellow fire from the vent. I just assembled and started using it and within 5 minutes the trouble started. Too late to return and so brand new it's going in the recycle bin. I'm not having a fire at my place. Don't buy this item from Amazon.
Do Not Buy!

Dangerous! The first one I bought had an issue with the regulator. When the dial was switched to the "off" unlocked position propane still flowed out. I had to actually unscrew the propane tank in order for the propane to stop. Char Broil actually sent a replacement out which worked fine for a few months. The replacement grill regulator will start up fine. After a few minutes however, propane shoots out loudly, blows out the flame, and the regulator ices over due to excess propane flow. I've tried several new tanks but it happens with each one. Char Broil needs to get these defective regulator issues fixed before somebody gets maimed or killed. I'll not be buying their products anymore. Scary!
