Five Star Reviews: | 75% Former ambien user June 10, 2016 I've struggled with sleep issues for several years and after trying many OTC natural products, I couldn't take it anymore. I went to the doctor and got a prescription to ambien. After years of being on it, I finally gave it up because it wasn't working very well any longer, and it's a pharmaceutical.I ventured back into natural products and came across California Products. Wow. Am I glad I did! Unlike ambien, this stuff makes me ready to fall asleep fast. I'm talking 15-30 minutes where ambien took two hours.I also track my sleep using a pebble watch. I found it to be helpful when I destroyed my sleep schedule using electronics before bed, drinking caffeinated beverages (in the morning) and having the WiFi on. Now I know better. This product works, but it also contains melatonin which like any isolated nutrient or hormone, you don't want to use too much because your body can become dependent on it. The best things I did for my sleep habits was to stop using caffeine altogether (crazy right?) and to use ethernet cables in my home instead of WiFi. If you are desperate for some rest, this product will certainly help, but it is not a long-term solution. Now I thought it was another peace of crap product. I don't really sleep unless l take ... Edit: Slightly Caffeinated Per Seller November 23, 2015 Edit: After corresponding with the seller, it's common for decaffeinated products such as this to still have small amounts of caffeine, which is why the label on the bottle says "contains caffeine". I tried walking in the evening to reduce anxiety without much success. I can't tell anyone how much I suffered due to insomnia. Same description on the front of the bottle but when you read the ingredients they are different. I thought maybe they had just changed the style of the bottle but this not the same. Sadly disappointed. this product does do a great job at promoting a very relaxing feeling before bedtime July 23, 2016 I was mildly excited about rhe product after reading various reviews and doing some research on the ingredients in the product. I am a person who has become very acclimated to sleep aids and have a difficult time staying asleep for more than 3 hours without them. Woth that being said i wanted to switch to a more natural based product. I have been using the product for a week and will continue for about another week. So far tgis product does not seem to be working to well for me as far as staying asleep. I will say that despite it not working for me personally, this product does do a great job at promoting a very relaxing feeling before bedtime.I dont plan on purchasing this again.Note: I have not received any discounts for my review. One Star Reviews: | 11% New bottle causes me Dizzyness, due to too much melatonin. April 18, 2017 My bottle says Melatonin 1mg, but I get dizzy spells from 5 mg or more and every time I take this product at half a dose from this New bottle, one capsule, not two, I have very bad dizzy spells next morning and can't work. Strangely the picture on the product now shows no Melatonin dosage, just list a an ingredient. I took this same product last year because it lists only 1 mg and never had a problem on last bottle. tossed and turned all night and feel like I spent more time awake than asleep January 14, 2017 Did not work at all for me, tossed and turned all night and feel like I spent more time awake than asleep. Would return if I could!! Complete Waste of Money September 4, 2016 I've tried a bunch of prescription and OTC sleep aid products and this is hands-down the worst. Even at two pills, it does not induce sleepiness nor does it aid in staying asleep. Here's an example: I once took two pills 1 hour before bed and unexpectedly had to wake up 3 hours later. With other sleeping pills, I would have been terribly groggy and/or incapable of completing most tasks. With these pills, there was no indication that I had taken anything. I actually forgot that I had taken them. I fully acknowledge that it may be a physiological anomaly, still I would not recommend these to anyone. Chamomile, Sleepy Time/Melatonin,Alteril, Midnite, Neuro Sleep/Unisom, Benadryl/Lunesta, Ambien, Restoril are all far better options. I don't recommend at August 30, 2016 It doesn't work at all. I took 2 pills and I couldn't go to sleep . However, i use this product a lot but i felt nothing. I don't recommend at all Does not work!! I'm so disappointed that I now have to search for a new supplement. If you have a formula that works don't change it!!! Waste of money. You're better off with coffee.
