| Can't say enough good thingsMay 28, 2017 I am so impressed with this shower head, that I will probably buy another one to have as a back up in case they stop making it at such a great price.
Everything comes nicely packaged in zip lock bags and they package the water restricter separately. If you want to install it, then fine. If you don't want it, then you don't have to worry about fishing it out. The hose is very flexible and soft. There is no way it's going to kink up. The wide rain setting is awesome and covers a wide area. I also like that the head can be tilted very high for a tall person or just to get longer range for large showers like mine. After I installed I turned it on and no leaks what so ever. Usually I turn on after new install and I find I have tighten here and there to stop little leaks. so I wanted something nice (but affordable)January 19, 2017 After combing though many reviews for many different showerheads, I was worried that this one would crack upon installation. This showerhead had the fewest mentions of cracking, so I took a chance on it. This was a Christmas present for the Mum, so I wanted something nice (but affordable).
When I took the showerhead out of the box to install it for the Mum, I was surprised by its weight. It's not as heavy as a metal head, but it's not as light as one of those plastic cheapies, either. It seems like a high-quality head.
It installed very easily. With a few twists of plumber's tape and a light touch, I was able to attach everything by hand with no leaks.
The Mum really likes the showerhead because of its size. It's small enough to be comfortably held in her hand but big enough to give a rain shower feeling. Happy LingererFebruary 22, 2016 I'm not one to "linger" in the shower - although with my old shower head I spent time just to rinse off, a shower has been a "necessary drudgery" for me. I am definitely a "lingerer" now! To step into a pleasurable rainfall that thoroughly covers my body, rinsing off residual soap with no effort on my part is motivation to get out of bed in the morning, and makes me want to stay in the shower for its comfort. My building provided a "water saving" shower head that was about 2" in diameter, with the force of a midday "pee-break" - sorry to put it grossly, but that's about the only metaphor I could come up with! This is a 5" shower head with a perfect force - I prefer the harder rainfall setting. I ask myself why I waited over a year to replace the shower head I had, and although I've had some other shower heads in the past, never one such as this that makes me want to stay in the shower and feel so clean after! I recommend this product as a very satisfied "lingerer"! Epic - do not hesitate to purchase this!!!February 7, 2016 Epic! Bought to replace an old shower head with a worn-out cord. Arrived quickly in perfect condition. Was easy to put together with the enclosed teflon tape, and I am NOT normally handy. No leaks. No problems. Love it! It's a very attractive shower head, a great bargain, and has improved my shower experience tremendously! I really like the large diameter wand and fantastic, easy-to-adjust spray settings. And I love that it could be assembled without the water flow restrictor (see attached pic.) No way I was putting this in because I'm so sick of crappy weak showers - strong hot showers are such a joy! BTW, cone-shaped end of cord attaches to wand (in order to nestle easily into bracket), and hex-shaped shorter piece attaches other end of cord to side of bracket. A bargain at twice the price! BEST shower head ever!January 17, 2016 I LOVE this shower head!! There are lots of settings and options to choose from--from the lightest mist to very heavy spray. But best of all, the water comes out of this so soft--not without lots of power and plenty of pressure, but the water itself must be aerated in some way that just makes it feel soft and misty, even when on a high setting. Honestly, I never would have guessed I'd be so excited about a shower head that I'd take the time to review it, but it really is that fabulous! My husband said it was super-simple to install and has no leaks or issues so far. I love that the hose is not plastic and doesn't feel the least bit cheap. So glad I chose this item out of all the ones I found on Amazon. The tape has been on for over a week so far and the end hasn't started unpeeling in the slightest. I think it will last for a long time, and it's saved me from buying a new cord. I also liked that the tape came in a nice round plastic case, which among other things prevents the edges from getting stuff stuck to them and getting dirty. It's hard to go wrong with sealant tapeFebruary 4, 2016 Well, it's sealant tape. You can't really go wrong with it. It worked as it was intended. Bought it to wrap around the thread of a hand held shower head that needed replacing. I should have prob went with a different size tape, because this was a tad too wide, but that's not an issue since you can either have a bit of tape showing, or push the tape down.I wrapped the threading about 4-5 times, and it sealed it perfectly. Not one drop leaking, and there's plenty of tape left over for the tool box! great for stretchingAugust 12, 2015 If you're looking at this tape to use for stretching a piercing, you have found the perfect tape for a really small price. a few wraps of this a day and before you know it you're at the next size. the only bad thing about this tape is that it does not slide well in oral piercings, and its so incredibly thin it can be kind of frustrating to wrap around a piece of jewelry, but that can be a positive too because you're able to fine tune the size increase to an incredible degree. The reason for three stars is because, its mostly plastic and the piece that connects to the pipe and shower head worries me because of how light and thin it feels, due to it being plastic. The screw threads on a few things is also plastic. I did not include the water re-stricter piece, but my pressure did drop noticeably. It seems to work well. With the semi-flimsy reel it's on and the natural properties of sealant tape, I found it easy to get it tangled up, but that's the only real nit-pick. This isn't some big purchase, it's just the tape you need and it does its job. get the 1/2 inch tape insteadMarch 24, 2015 Works well. The first time I only wrapped it around the threads 3 times and there was a single drop leaking from it every 5-7 seconds. The next time I wrapped it 6 times around and got a perfect seal with not a single drop leaking. The tape can be ripped with hands. Be sure to push the tape down around the threads with your thumb before attempting to connect the shower head. Also, clean the threads on the pipe of any previous residue before applying tape for the best results.Only gripe is that I bought this because it was the recommended one. Not knowing anything about sealant tape at the time, I ordered it. When I received the item I did some reading saying 1/2 inch tape is the best size. After using it I discovered this to be true. Half inch tape would have been more than enough. The 3/4 inch tape works the same, but leaves a lot of unused white tape visible on the pipe. It does what it's intended to do alright.January 15, 2015 It's okay. It does the job. It IS very thin, so cutting each piece you'll use with a small pair of scissors is highly recommended. Having worked as a plumber for some years back in the late 1970's the tape we used was a bit thicker and never once did we cut it. it did have stretch to it, but all you had to do with that pretty much was pull it tight and yank it. Try that stunt with this gauge of tape and I think you'll find that you're going to need the more than ample supply provided. the description DOES read "Industrial," so having not worked in the trade for so long I won't attempt to call this one. It IS also on the thick side measuring side to side. For shower head installation let's say, it might be a bit much. I don't know. Improvise. It does the job won't break the bank you MIGHT find Sealant Tape at the 99 Cents Only Store, but I needed it TODAY. So... I should have tried this a long time ago!March 30, 2014 Yep… there’s a difference in tape but I had to be convinced. I thought no matter what brand or thickness I purchased it was just wrapping more around the threads would do it. I’m not a plumber but I do buy homes, live in them for 2-years, make all required repairs/improvements and then see it. Seems every house needed major plumbing work so I just purchased the cheapest 10-packs of Teflon tape I could find and kept wrapping tape until the leak stopped… or changed out the fittings. The added thickness to this tape makes for a better seal but it does not tear off easily. I’m happy with it but had to go with 4-stars because of the difficulty in tearing it off and the ragged end that is left. If you’re prone to cutting it with scissors then it’s a 5-star item. I think it is much better for metal threads because they tend to cut away the tape more when threading fittings together. | | | |

However, the head holder, the part attached to the wall mount, is not fitting right with the shower-head and if you don't push down hard enough the head falls down easily. I see other reviews with the same issue and seems there is a bigger quality problem

After my review I got an email and they sent me a replacement which was good customer service. I hope the new one lasts longer, I have seen other customer reviews where even the replacement broke. | POOR QUALITYApril 22, 2017 I purchased this item June 2016. I really loved this shower-head, however, about a month ago, water began to spray out around the plastic part of the shower-head. Now it's a downpour and the shower-head is useless. The product description says LIFETIME WARRANTY. How does one go about getting this replaced? DisappointingMarch 2, 2017 I was able to easily install this shower head myself, which was a relief as I'm not handy that way at all.
Unfortunately, within a couple of months it began to leak. Soon there were random jets of water spraying everywhere -- from the shower head itself, where the grey plastic piece came loose from its base, to the shower arm where the plastic connectors cracked (I guess). In the end I had to replace it and opted for a more basic model by a well-known brand. Great @ First...November 15, 2016 I loved this shower head....at first. It was very simple to install and worked great... However, after less than 4 weeks of use, it has nearly stopped working. It has a large stream of water rushing out the bottom of the head. Almost like the filter has broke or something. I can't seem to find one that I like. If you try to adjust it to get water from the center, then a fine chilling mist comes from the outside circle. It's hard to explain. We have good water pressure, so I thought putting the included water restrictor in the hand unit might help, but it didn't. I am seriously considering cutting my loses and buying another another brand of shower head. I like an even flow of water out of every hole and I can't seem to get that with this head. Some people might like the "rainfall" quality, but I don't. It says it has 5 settings, but I don't notice any real improvements from changing the settings. I guess maybe I'd prefer a smaller shower head, because I don't like the dead zone in the middle of this one. I wish I had spent the money on a good one. | Hard to use with small screwsOctober 13, 2016 For my uses the tape was not too helpful. In order to keep the pivot on my folding knives from coming loose I tried using some of the tape to help tighten up the threading between the screw and female pivot end. Since the tape is so wide compared to the small screws it was difficult to wrap the tape around the screw without using too much of it. I was able to use it on two different pivots successfully. If the tape wasn't as wide it might work out better for my applications. If you use this with a longer screw it should work fine. | One StarJuly 19, 2017 Head is way too large Broke after 15 monthsFebruary 12, 2017 According to Amazon, I purchased this item in November 2015. It is now February 2017, and the shower head is no longer functional. For about six months it worked perfectly. I liked the different settings. Then instead of a full spray, some of the water just dribbled out of the bottom. This wasn't too big of a deal. As time passed, the head became pretty difficult to turn, to change the settings. Then today, it completely stopped working. I think some piece must have broken inside the head, because all the water just dribbles out of the edges of the shower head.
