Didn't like it at first, now a huge fan
March 30, 2017
Initially I didn't like this game at all. I was easily getting killed by the Royal army and the village hunters. I even thought of selling this game. Then I've watched few videos in the youtube before started playing again a week later. I was hooked on to it from that moment. It not just about shooting, it teaches you strategy on how to kill your enemies. There are few glitches in the graphics rendering, here and there. But I like the attention of details they've put into this game., like: Royal army soldier snoring while guarding the outpost and burning trees. Only thing I hate it when dogs/honey badgers attack, its difficult to look for them before you aim and kill them. I've completed 10/34 campaign missions so far. Yet to explore the north Kyrat. But the game is not allowing me to travel north, I need to complete more campaign missions. Overall its amazing game, wish there was a local multiplayer option.
Far Cry 4 = Pure gold.

This became hands down one of my favorite games. The scenery is gorgeous, the environment is gorgeous, the story is immersive.. It's just a stellar game. I love the fact that you can play the game time and time again because with the interactive environment, you never know what is going to pop out at you. One minute you're all alone fighting rebels in the woods, and then a tiger hears the gunshots and comes and attacks the guys you're fighting and you as well. Or, you could be hunting a rhino and suddenly rebels pass by on the road and see you and then suddenly you're in a fire fight and then the golden path shows up to help fight with you. It's just a fantastic and incredible game. You can hunt for days, you can play the story, you can play the side missions.. You can do anything you want. The little buzz copter thing was my favorite combined with the grenade launcher, it made for some easy travel missions. Or how about riding an elephant and having it attack all of your enemies? Need I say more? I hope the newest Far Cry will be as good as this one, but it's going to be very hard to beat. Kyrat is a beautiful place and full of equally beautiful animals that could help you or kill you at any turn.
Gives GTAV a Run for its Open World Money

This is honestly one of the funnest games I have played in quite some time. I have grown tired in the post-COD4:MW era of first-person shooters because I haven't found any COD game, or most FPS's related to it, worthwhile. The Battlefield series has been decent, and for me Destiny is really the only FPS over the past 7-8 years that I found truly worth the price tag (I am not a Halo fan). But Far Cry 4 combines above average FPS gameplay with a unique game environment, unpredictable open-world experiences, and a story that will keep you interested. This is something along the lines of Tomb Raider meets GTA for me, as the open-world of Kyrat, the fictional Himalayan setting of the game, is lush with environments full of enemies, diverse types of missions, and wild animals that will surprise the heck out of you when they attack. I haven't ventured into the online multiplayer much because I have been quite enamored with the story mode, but I'll provide an update once I venture into it.As for the story, it has an Uncharted feel to it: American protagonist ventures into an exotic land and fights a ton of villains. The protagonist, Ajay, is not that interesting himself but his comrade's and their enemies are very interesting characters. Also, the journey he is on is one of self-discovery, as Kyrat is the homeland of his late parents, and as their story unfolds, the game becomes more and more interesting. As with most open-world games nowadays, there is the main campaign and a plethora of side missions, all which seem to provide over 30 hours of fresh gameplay. This is the first Far Cry game I have ever played, so if fans of the series are used to the quality of gaming provided in Far Cry 4, I feel a bit foolish for missing out all this time. One of the things that I enjoy most are the variety of weapons present in the game (everything from a bow with flaming arrows to a bazooka). If you haven't explored this game yet, there's no reason not to buy it now that it is basically priced as a Greatest Hits title.
Amazing!

I'm sure this game has been reviewed to death already, lol, but since I just played it recently, I thought I'd add mine to the mix. Anyway, this game was amazing. Technically, there werent necessarily any real upgrades from Far Cry 3 as far as gameplay and such goes, although the graphics were definitely even more amazing. I'd actually say this is possibly the best looking gen 8 game yet.So, speaking of gameplay....it was as engaging and fun as ever. Really, I could run and drive around Kyrat all day every day and never be disappointed. There is a ton of stuff to do, plenty of objects to find, all of which carrying their own piece of a few different stories. The flight suit was also super cool.Troy Baker as Pagan Min was inspired. I dont know that anybody could ever top Vaas as a video game villain, but Pagan Min was right up there, and Baker played the role to perfection. There were quite a few interesting characters in the game, but Min really stole the show.As always, your moral choices tend to be more of the best of the worst type things. You wont really feel great about either story arc at times (there are basically two, much like with FC3). Neither really represents a "good guy" type scenario. Lesser of two evils kind of deal here. That said, there is a little leeway. In my playthrough, where possible, I let people live. Sometimes, that doesnt even work out well, lol.Anyway, the story was pretty engaging IMO. It wont win any prizes necessarily, but it does keep you interested and wanting more.Did I mention the elephants? Holy ##### the elephants! They are complete bad ###es, and you will defintiely want to take full advantage of your ability to ride one into an enemy outpost and wreak havoc. In fact, the first outpost I attacked, they had an elephant penned. I shot the elephant in the behind with an arrow from afar, and it basically went beserk and took care of the entire outpost for me while I watched the whole thing through my binoculars, lol.Did I mention the Rhinos? F### the rhinos. They are also bad ###es, and they dont really discriminate, lol. Everybody in the area is a potential target for their ill temper and rage. They are also incredibly resilient. You will waste a ton of bullets trying to take one down. Also, once they figure out that you are the one shooting at them, they definitely dont hesitate to let you know just how little they appreciated that treatment. At one point, I literally just fired a grenade launcher at an enemy courier when a rhino came out of nowhere and smashed the courier. Just then, a rebel truck and an enemy truck both rolled in and everything started attacking everythign. As I watched in amazement, and eagle swooped in and attacked me. After I fought off the eagle, looked over and gazed upon the smoking ruins that was several vehicles and a bunch of once living people, with a rhino sauntering off looking pleased with itself, I thought "You know, this is what Far Cry is all about right here".btw....eagles....by far the most annoying and vicious creatures in a game that also features honey badger, rhinos, elephants, and so on. They move fast, they can come from any direction, are huge and can carry off smaller prey (like goats...which you will see happen), and view everything as prey. F### those eagles, lol.I'm sure you can tell from reading all of this that there is a lot of content and a lot of randomness in this game, which really adds to the experience. This is a living and breathing game world, and it doesnt stop just because the prodigal son (you) sees fit to wander through it.I cant recommend this game enough. Buy it, play it, love it!
What a blast!
February 23, 2015
I have over 10 hours+ into this game and I really love it. I played FC3 and 2 on the PC prior to this and many of the game play elements have been carried over into this version so you start with a system you know. The game has been solid with no error screens or hiccups to speak of.My favorite things so far have been the scenery. I like to take the ripper (gyrocopter) everywhere I can and sight-see. I fly it to locations like towers so I can get in and out fast. I also like to ride the elephant with the RPG ready to take out enemy trucks, etc. My primary weapons are throwing knives and LMG with red dot for close in and the Sniper Rifle when approaching from a distance. What a great game!
Elephant riding 101
January 12, 2015
Very realistic, constantly entertaining and extremely addictive. This one has it all... story, drama, violence, gore, comedy, and... wait for it... elephant riding. The elephant. The absolute BEST vehicle in any game I have personally ever played, and when you use the elephant as a weapon while riding it, and it's a very effective and efficient weapon, your enemies will run for the hills. The graphics have every blade of grass, strand of hair, and even direction of the wind down to an amazing and entertaining science. For more in depth reviews, you can find hundreds here. I am here to inform, and maybe warn you about one thing in particular that could happen to you, or rather your character. When you befriend and ride an elephant, he has your back. He'll even wait for you to finish your business at a camp that needs liberating. I do, however, suggest you do not stand "behind" him for too long or you will be sorry. Your health will be just fine, but your shoes, pants, shirt, etc, not so much. I found out by taking a phone call while just having dismounted an elephant and standing behind it without pausing the game. BIG messy mistake. It was, however, pretty amusing explaining what had happened to the person on the phone who happens to not be a gamer. Take a few steps back or you will get into, rather covered in, his "business". I mean, that's unless you're into that kind of stuff. Also, NEVER leave the game unpaused if you must leave it temporarily or, other than having elephant dung rain on your parade, much worse can happen. Happy riding, and let's keep it clean!

Never Boring

I personally like this game better than watchdogs 2. It's a great game and you don't get very tired of it. I bought this for my brother as a gift for his birthday and he loves it. He doesn't stop playing it. He never gets bored of it.
Watch Dogs is an Amazing game! Highly Recommend it!!!

Great Game - Bought Used - Excellent Condition!
September 5, 2014
I don't normally write reviews for games, as they are very subjective. You either like them, or you do not. I bought this game for my 11-year old son, and was concerned about the rating. I have played the game with him, and definitely if you do not like bad language, then this is not a game you should be buying for your kids.

We also bought this game used -- I'm not keen on buying used games, but took a chance and was very pleased with the quality of the product. The case was in PERFECT condition as were the instructions. I could not see any scratches whatsoever on the front or back of the CD. VERY pleased with this purchase and would gladly consider buying used again.

Good game, but not for me
December 3, 2015
Haven't never played any of the Far Cry titles, I didn't know what to expect from this game. I assumed it would be a first person shooter with tons of action. I what I didn't expect was an open world action first shooter game with tons of missions and side missions. At first, I enjoyed the game, but after awhile I became overwhelmed (lazy with the side missions) that side track from the main storyline. Not to take anything away from the game, its an awesome game. I know for sure if I had the time and patience like I did when I was younger, I would love this game. If you have the time and tolerance buy this game.
More of the same, but that's not a bad thing!
November 3, 2015
If you have a played a Far Cry game before you know exactly what you are getting. If you are new to the series, it is a good FPS (first person shooter) with some RPG (role playing game) character progression thrown in. It is easy to lose track of time wandering around collecting items and playing the side mission. If you played a Far Cry before I would advise waiting until you have empty spot in your gaming schedule, but if you are new to the Far Cry world this would be a nice holiday pick up.
Not as strong as Far Cry 3, but a worthy game nonetheless.
September 1, 2015
It plays very similar to Far Cry 3, but the story is not as engrossing as it was in the previous rendition. The story follows a man who was kidnapped by the ruler of this Indian providence. There are two main story lines (You can go with the traditional male's story or go with the revolutionary female story) and the ending has two different choices as well (no spoilers here though). The gameplay is very similar to assassian's creed or dying light in the most broad sense. You must climb to the top an area to gain vision of the map around. Once you control that base you can infiltrate an enemy encampment. After taking over that you get missions in the surrounding area. There are about 20 radio towers and maybe 30 bases to conquer. There are 4 strongholds which are extremely strong bases (that apparently get weaker as you progress in the game). You can be loud and destroy bases with pure brute force or you can stealthily take out every base without being spotted. That is your choice. Personally I tried to do them about 50/50 and it turned out fun either way. However, I recommend if possible Far Cry 3 over this game due to the fact the story line is vastly better in #3 t han in this one. But this game isn't garbage either so shell out for both if possible.
This is a great game with tight controls that will provide hundreds of hours of enjoyment
June 10, 2015
Game and movie reviews are subjective. This review will really only be helpful to those interested in this genre. For those new to the Far Cry series, each game has its own original story and characters so it is not necessary to have played the previous games to enjoy it fully. It is a first person, open-world sandbox game with a main quest narrative and a ton of side quests and random encounters that you can enjoy or avoid. No story spoilers here AT ALL. I will only say that the narrative is compelling but somewhat familiar, well done but nothing truly original. Actions and decisions will affect the game environment and the story but not as much as I'd have liked. Ultimately it is an enjoyable ride story wise.As for gameplay, you can play as you wish for the majority of the game. Play stealthy or go in guns blazing or mix it up as you see fit or the situation changes. As you progress, you can build your character by unlocking skills that lend themselves to your play style. There are many unlockables, mainly in the form of weapons and their customization and accessories.Pros:- Huge world divided into 2 main regions. The first is open to you, the second will be unlocked at a certain point in the main story.- Fun co-op mode (can be glitchy though)- You can play how you want. Quest, Hunt, Outpost aquisition (tactical gaming elements), Radio Tower aquisition (platform gaming elements)- Hundreds of hours of gameplay.Cons:- Some elements can feel repetitive (if you focus on only one game element at a time)- Some decisions you are required to make feel forced, like you have a choice to make only so they can employ multiple endings.Bottomline: This is a great game with tight controls that will provide hundreds of hours of enjoyment so long as you enjoy the genre. It may even convert those who don't.
A welcome Surprise!
March 14, 2015
I have spent a lot of time of this game to experience as much as possible and I was rather pleased with what I have payed.First off this game looks amazing and runs very well, the new setting is a welcome change compared to farcry 3.The sound design is amazing with guns having lots of impact and a very well done soundtrack.there are a lot of improvements to the game like the amount of guns and signature guns you can get. and the character are modeled very well with lots of detail even on random NPS.Gameplay wise Farcry4 is essentially the same as before but with tweaks and new features like the ability to fly your own small helicopter, which makes exploring the giant world amazing and shows off the games very far view distance and the games beautiful world. you can also shoot from vehicles which is very fun and makes for a lot of cool moments.the Missions are much more open and allows for more choice when it comes to combat which is great for people who don't like being directed what to do, also thankfully the QTE fights are gone and the majority of all fights are very minimal when it comes to cut-scenes.the Drug sections of the game have been replaced mostly by entering shangri la and those are very cool and allows for some beautiful visuals and allows for outlandish designs and eventsThe story is rather interesting but your character isn't too interesting aside from his position in the games story. his voice acting is good but he doesn't get much development. but everyone else is pretty well acted, especially Pagin Min, who is an amazing antagonist.I also enjoyed the balance of power missions that allow you to take sides between the too idealistic revolution leaders, whom are very well written and give very good reasons for their ideals.great game with not many flaws and, make sure if you get the game make sure you either have a PS4,Xboxone, or good PC.
Outstanding graphics and gameplay, feels repetitive after a while.
January 31, 2015
For the most part I am highly impressed with Far Cry 4, and I'd give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. I feel like so much of the praise and criticisms of the game that I have read are valid. Graphics are amazing, combat is intense, and there is a TON of game here. Even the story is pretty fun once you play all the way through it. Where I find myself disappointed is that the game begins to feel very repetitive after a while, and the multiplayer could be more innovative. The environment is fairly static and aside from a few missions where you're in the snow, the scenery is the same for the entire map, and because it's such a huge map that leaves something to be desired. I would like to see more variety in the scenery. The gameplay itself also feels repetitive: you traverse a stretch of terrain to basically go wipe out another base, and you survive the onslaught of wild animals and random factions of enemies along the way. Your character grows stronger, develops more capabilities, and attains better weapons throughout the game, but the game itself plays pretty much the same the whole way through. There a lot of side quests that are fun, but they're also repetitive because you're essentially doing the same thing but in different spots on the map (e.g., wiping out a propaganda center, finding hidden objects, hijacking enemy freight trucks). However, I'm not trying to bash the game. It is a beautiful game and very entertaining. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because of the amount of repetition; the game needed to invent more variety for itself.

Just got this game in the mail today - So far I've only been playing for about the last 2-3 hours this late afternoon . It seems like a really cool game - Hacking into all of the cTos systems and hacking into pedestrians cellphones . I find it interesting just roaming around seeing what they're convicted of what their occupation is or their secrets 😂 Im still getting used to everything within the game but it seems alright for now . Im more of a GTA5 girl so this is kindve new for me . The driving and shooting controls are about the same I believe . However driving in this game sucks . Reminds me back to where I use to play True Crimes NYC on PS2 - the way the driving is is just the same . Of course because they're both made by UbiSoft . I hate their driving (it seems like everything just bounces off of each other like it's not quite as realistic to GTA5 driving) . This is hard to explain - I'm sorry 😂 Get the game though - It's pretty decent 👌🏾
Get this game!
December 4, 2015
This was the first game I got for my PS4, I'm actually a new gamer and bought my console 5 months ago. I think this game is great, but it could be even better, it does not have the graphics everybody was thinking it would, and there are many things what to improve. Ubisoft is doing it very well, I personally think they are one of the bests game developers.Missions: I honestly started with the secondary missions (there are many by the way), this to make my character better and better to start with the desseert, the primary missions that are very good. When Aiden Pearce has more more experience and you unlock the skills while you are getting it. It means you will have more guns, unlock cars, and can do more.Online-hacking: Probably the best thing what to do in this game, I really enjoy hacking people or chasing & shooting them when I found their character trying to do it.Vehicles, guns, etc: There are very good cars and very good guns, but it still need to improve a lot in this. I would like to get a bazooka for example. And I'm totally sure it will be a much better game if there would be airplanes, helicopters, ATV's what to use, and better motorcycles, more boats, more cars where to choose from. That's why the 4 stars instead of the 5! Simple!¡Pura vida!
Great first entry
September 21, 2015
Late to the game but that just meant I got to play it after all the bugs were patched. I know a lot of people felt the game didn't live up to the graphical promise made when it was first announced but this is still a great looking game. For a brand new IP that Ubisoft wants to compete with the likes of GTA, I think this was a great starting point. The story was good, the characters were interesting, the game world was large, varied, and interesting. The gunplay functioned well. The stealth mechanics functioned well. The side content was fun. The hacking was their niche mechanic and the big draw and worked but can use improvement, especially when driving. In my opinion the driving mechanics were the weakest gameplay aspect and took awhile to get the hang of but they were still better than the driving in games like Sleeping Dogs and Just Cause 2...driving in those games was absolutely horrible in my opinion. Even though Chicago has the L-Train, I just never saw any reason to use it to get around so that was kind of a wasted element...but then again the subway in Los Santos in GTA5 was basically worthless as well. All in all, this was a great game that I played about 40-50 hours total and completed just about everything. If they can improve on what they have built then future installments can rival GTA.
This game deserved more.
June 9, 2014
I enjoyed this game as a game. The story element, however, was worthless. Except for Maurice, whoever did that voice acting was superb. Other than that, I wish the story was a bit more captivating. I felt like this game and a few of the characters deserved a better story. Now, I play video games rarely and I am quite picky. Anyways, before I played this game, I played AC4 and Far Cry 3. Being all Ubisoft games I compared them a lot. Maybe you're not suppose to but I did.Watch Dogs was very restrictive with its gameplay. Trying to play it stealthy it definitely annoyed me. Watch dogs gives you the freedom to choose how you want to approach most of your missions. So say you want to use a Sniper rifle and pick off your enemies from a distance. Well they give you a sniper riffles but you will cause mass hysteria and police pursuits because because you don't have a silent option. They can give a 4 silent sniper riffle options to a kid in a Jungle and yet a hacker turned vigilantly can't get his hands on one.Next, high places are not accessible to you. You know, with all of the hype behind it and the hold on release, they should have given you the ability to do more. There was so much that they could have done and you can see it as you're playing. There are places in the game that's like the backcountry and there are a lot of boulders and what not. Great vantage points but you can't climb. It just got a bit aggravating. No vantage points for you. Then you have the dying. Maybe because of Assassins Creed, GTA and what not, one can get spoiled by not dying so simply. But god, Aiden Pearce is so fragile man. I felt like if he tripped on the sidewalk he would've died. One of the reasons I decided to do it stealthy was because of how easy it was for him to die. Yeah really human being would most likely die that quickly in a gunfight but does he have to be so fragile? It's funny because in the game they have bullet proof vests on tables and what not, looking all pretty and useful. But they are just decorations. Also it doesn't help that he always has to aim before he shoots. If I push the trigger button it should fire the gun, just saying. Also, shooting while driving, no go.Now the game is still a fun game. Most of the missions are pretty unique. Most of the side missions are awesome to pass the time. It can get challenging but it's a good challenging. You won't get bored. You might get aggravated but not bored. It does have replay value. But I don't think you'll pay attention to the story as much the second time around.I think a strong antagonist would have been amazing in this game. Like I said before the game deserved a better story. Also this game deserved a bit more common sense. You'll understand that within the storyline but also, the AI needed a bit more too. Not the bad guys AI, I mean the civilians. They were spoked by everything. You could fart and they would get scared. Actually, now that I think about it, the bad guys AI were the same way.Nevertheless, it's a good game. Other than all of that stuff, everything ran pretty smoothly. It looked very nice. It had some interesting concepts and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Good game
June 3, 2014
Well, it's common knowledge that the PS4 is lacking a bit in the game department. There aren't too many great games to choose from. Watch Dogs is a nice addition though.

Watch Dogs is a pretty good game. It's not amazing but it's good. I plan on playing it all the way through. I put some time into it last weekend. It's a Grand Theft Auto kind of game but still different so don't expect the same thing. This is less focused on violence but violence is still there. If you're looking for a PS4 GTA then this should hold you over until it gets made. I've also seen some nudity and sex scenes so it's definitely earned the mature rating. Very entertaining though! I definitely laughed a few times while playing.

Hacking is cool. You can control street lights and cause accidents for example. You can profile every person in the game and hack into a lot of their phones and computers. Sometimes you steel from their bank accounts and other times you get to hear their phone conversations. Some side missions are also unlocked this way. It's often entertaining when you spy on someone in their home. I haven't seen anything repeated while hacking so that's been refreshing. The hacking focused side quests are puzzle like. They require you to explore and figure out how to get from A to Z. Sometimes hacking requires you to complete a puzzle mini game to gain access to whatever you're hacking into. It's not annoying in any way and it's not done too often.

Game play is focused on hacking and stealth plays a big part in it all. However, you can often go in guns blazing if stealth isn't your thing. You use security cameras A LOT. This allows you to scout areas and unlock things you can't reach on foot. Hacking is easy to figure out. The shooting mechanics work well in my opinion. It was easy to learn. The AI is easy to fool as well (allows you to sneak up behind them). You also have the ability to slow time which makes killing and driving easier and often more fun. Slowing time is one of many perks you can choose to unlock as you level up. The perk system adds to the overall quality of this game.

Driving is arcade style, which I also enjoy because it's easier to learn. Each car drives noticeably different too. Good cars are not hard to come by so that adds to the enjoyment. You also have the ability to make any car you've used in the past appear near you using a friend in your phone. You'll have to pay to unlock most of the cars but that's been a nice option in the game. You can plow through most obstacles and this also adds to the entertainment.

The main story is ok, nothing special in my opinion. Definitely not bad though. There are a ton of side quests to complete and things to find outside of the main story missions. The digital trips put a cool spin on the game. The spider tank digital trip is a ton of fun if you like mass destruction and causing chaos. The other three have been entertaining as well. These have their own perk system too.

The city feels alive and it reacts to your choices. There is a karma system that punishes you for doing bad things (like running over pedestrians or killing cops). So far I've noticed that when my karma is bad, citizens recognize me from the news and call the police. I think good karma has rewards too but I haven't been nice enough to receive any lol. I have neutral karma at the moment and it is relatively easy to remain neutral. I went out of my way to be bad and then I noticed the consequences. Citizens will also call the police if you start shooting or running around with a gun. You can stop the phone calls by shooting that person or grabbing their phone. Bad guys can also call in reinforcements. Sometimes when you steal a car the victim calls the police too. The realism of the game has been enjoyable.

I've heard the PS3 version is crap compared to the PS4 version so keep that in mind. Load times are long at first but once the game is started, it's not bad. I haven't noticed objects randomly popping up into view or similar issues. The frame rate has been steady so far. I've only had one glitch while playing (a character during a cut scene was invisible). Graphics are cool but not consistent. Sometimes the game looks great and sometimes I think it's lacking. Overall though, I can't complain. Still, I often wonder how much is lost when a game is playable on multiple console generations...

One downside is moving on foot. It's not as streamlined as I would like. Assassin's Creed is a good example of streamlined movement. It's a hassle climbing up and down things in this game. You can't fall very far without dying either. It's realistic but takes away from the overall experience. That's really my only big complaint.

Online stuff has been a lot of fun too. It is incorporated into the actual game in multiple ways. One example occurs when you hack certain civilians. These people are waiting to be hacked and report you to the authorities. This puts a bounty on you and other players randomly come into your game and attempt to hack you. You know the area they are in but you have to search for that person before the time runs out. Otherwise the hacker gets paid and you lose online stats. Online stats also allow you to unlock items.

All in all, I'm happy I purchased the game. If you have a question, I'll respond!

An Average Game. Nothing Special
June 4, 2015
The game is gorgeous and the game is a vast improvement over the previous titles when it comes to the mechanics and visuals. The story is boring and not compelling in any way, shape, or form.Pros:-Graphics-Gameplay-Co-opCons:-Story-CharactersIt is simply an average game. Vaas from Far Cry 3 was a great antagonist, but sadly there is no one like him in this game or anyone even slightly as compelling as he was.
Unbelievably bad ending / story / badguy, great gameplay

After Vaas from FC3 hopes were high for their new bad guy who is Pagan Min. He may be the worst bad guy I've ever played a game about, ever. I don't care that he's gay (though that made it harder to fear him) but he was hardly featured at ALL, when he did show up he did nothing intimidating, and when you finally get to him at the end it's so anti-climactic it's sickening. He didn't even have one guard around him he's just in a house all by himself eating some food. really??? That's what I worked so hard for? It was a true F YOU to fans of FC3, and just screamed developer laziness. I checked the alternate endings and they were equally lame as well. The one scene that featured Pagan as the game progressed was a very weak ripoff of Inglorious Bastards where the nazi leader was speaking while people were hiding under the house. Where's the creativity? On the plus, the gameplay is superior to FC3 even though the story / ending isn't. Helicopter a nice touch, some of the new guns a nice touch. But the weaponry is so nice it took away from the challenge so I'd catch myself purposely using lesser weapons so i could actually fight, rather than just noob tubing everything that moved. Voice acting is improved especially at bases. At Durgesh prison there is some voice acting where the heavy is talking to his dog as he's patrolling that really cracked me up. talking about bench pressing his enemies. But oh man all that work for a weak ending just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'll probably play FC5 but i no longer trust these guys to not cut corners
Fun, with some annoyances. Not as good as 3 but still good.

This was a great game, but the coop s*** kind of sucked. You can only do so much with your friends, and what you help them do doesn't count towards your game, like taking outposts, side missions, ect. The graphics were amazing, and the story was fun. But the coop thing annoyed me greatly. I find it redundant to have to do things twice, once for you and once for your friend, you know to make it fair. There were were issues too, like i could only refill so much of my health when i was in someone else's game. I bullet would actually count for 2,3,4 bullets pending on the gun, which made you run out of ammo fast. Some of the sise missions were annoying too. Got old fast, and i decided they weren't worth is anymore. But the game is fun, definitely play this game, dont spend a lot though, or just rent it for the week, that should be long enough.
If I have to play another mission where I'm hallucinating or have to fight a demon, I will SCREAM!
March 18, 2015
I want to like this game, I really do. The visuals are really quite stunning and I haven't enjoyed being in a game world as much since Red Dead Redemption. With that said, much like Far Cry 3, the missions are really annoying. The storyline has improved somewhat since the last installment but I still am more inclined to just liberate outposts and perform other side missions. I really couldn't care less about either of the sides I'm supposed to be choosing in this game and it's even more disappointing that the outcomes are equally unsatisfying.I'm not really sure if the writers are dropping huge amounts of acid but they seem to have an affinity for writing it into their games. I grew tired of the gimmick after the second Act where I'm forced to escape the prison and evade a demon whilst drugged. I prefer my games to be more lucid and if I want to be on a bad acid trip, I will not rely on a game for that experience. I won't dare go back to the overhyped Shangri La unless i'm high in real life. Too bad. I really like achieving 100% in games but I don't even think I can finish this one. Also, driving mechanics are still whack. Ubisoft needs to steal a page from EA and sort that out.
and intensity of this game are great, the story and game-play
March 4, 2015
While the graphics, sound quality, and intensity of this game are great, the story and game-play, unfortunately do not live up to those high standards. For instance, there isn't a great introduction to the world of FarCry 4, there is barely a tutorial, and the controls are confusing in their default setting-- not to mention the inability to switch to a third person view when piloting, driving, etc. any sort of machinery, which makes it difficult to gauge exactly what you're doing.
Umm..
February 17, 2015
In all honesty, I've purchased this game after I had played Far Cry 3 in the PS3 system. That game was pretty good. It wasn't the best game created but it was enough to get me interested into the story, the adventure and some action within the game-play and cut-scenes. This game didn't follow suit well. I'm not gonna go in dept to keep the story discreet, but I didn't find myself into this game as much as I was before in Far Cry 3. For the longest, I felt a tad confused on who the true villain for reasons I can't explain for the sake of the story. Everyone isn't innocent and Pagan Min actually didn't have that much of a cold heart as some of the other characters. As you play this game, there are some missions where you wold have to make the decisions, such as picking between character A and character B on who can raise a country better. It's like when a woman ask someone which dress looks better while both dresses look similar. The in-game arguments is rather pointless. The game's scenery is beautiful and the animals are more realistically crafted. But since I play for a story with action and adventure, maybe even for tear-jerker moments, I was rather disappointed.

Got my money's worth and ready to move on

If I'd gotten this before Watch Dogs 2 I would never have gotten 2. The story line is way, way too long and boring and some of the driving skills are way over the top for just a casual user. After reaching a certain stage, it's really rather tiring and a waste of time.I did like learning about things in the city, although it was a little over the top and heavy in the gangster area. And locations were bogus; not at all realistic way to portray the city.
Fun, but only "meh"
January 14, 2015
Just like soooo many others, I was excited when I heard this was on the horizon as a next generation game. It looked fun, sounded cutting edge, and I thought for sure an open world hack-a-thon was going to be the best thing like, ever. Oh, how far this hyped game has fallen.Pros:-While the graphics weren't as mind blowing as they seemed in the previews, they are still pretty good.-Chicago, where the game takes place, seems vibrant enough on the surface. Changing weather, citizens going about their lives, busy traffic.-Hacking mechanic. While sorely underutilized, I still found it fun. Most of the puzzles were fairly simple, but there were two that drove me insane (in a fun way).-Jordi. Probably more memorable than Aiden. He was a good side character.-TBone and Clara. Also good side characters. I felt more for them than I did Aiden.-The music. A great soundtrack complemented missions. And the showdown at TBone's? Loved it.-The open world. Chicago felt huge. Without fast traveling to hideouts, trekking from one side to another actually took time. And you could have a bit of mischievous fun along the way.-Sometimes having the option to take people out by hacking the surroundings. This was disappointingly under played. I wanted this game to be all about hacking and stealth.Cons:-Aiden is a pretty flat character. He's always brooding and...moody. I get he has a past, but come on. No character development. I really wanted to like this Vigilante persona, a guy who had a cool trench coat and wears a mask. Alas, there wasn't much personality there to like.-Conflicting interests. Aiden is supposed to be played as this good guy Vigilante out for justice. Well, you could have fooled me. You hack citizens to steal their money, songs, eavesdrop, spy, steal cars...Hacking for essentials, like security keys, is one thing. But I found stealing a bit out of touch with what his character stood for.-Too much a shooter game. I expected to be able to get through missions by a combo of stealth and hacking. 80% of the time it ended guns blazing and I had very little choice in the matter. The only non-violent missions were hacking the ctOS locations to gain access to a certain part of the city (of course, you have a choice to be violent). What's a game about a justice seeking vigilante hacker if the objective is to shoot and kill?-Take downs vs. kill. It made very little sense, if any, to have to kill in some missions and find ways to ONLY take down in others. Random missions where you could only take down targets was very obnoxious when the game is very "shoot em' up" oriented. I liked the take down missions, it went well with the premise, but mixing it up with shooting and killing was senseless.-Cops. My god did this annoy me. They could punch, run me over, and were annoyingly accurate with tailing me. The free for all with the cops was beyond unrealistic, it was just silly. I did like taking them out using the hacking mechanic, at least. Oh, and magically escaping by boat. Which also didn't make sense.-Sketchy stealth. In restricted areas I could effectively hide and stealth around. In regular areas Aiden kept popping back up like a fricken whack-a-mole. Getting killed in the process.-My final gripe is the silly mini-games and repetive side missions. Boring as all get out after the first 3 times or so.-Just something that struck me as odd, but people on the street constantly spotted Aiden as the vigilante. Yet, his sister was clueless and so are the baddies you come across during the act where you infiltrate using someone else's identity. All in all, it wasn't a horrible game. The campaign story was all right, I just wish Aiden had more development. It would've been great to have a Robin Hood side to Aiden, rob from the rich and give to the countless hobos you come across. Graphically, it was well designed. The mechanics were 'meh' at times, yet I still had fun with the hack/stealth approach when it was available. If playing only the campaign, you save yourself a lot of repetition and disappointment. Lengthy side missions were unrewarding (so many missed opportunities here). I feel the game was worth the $25 I paid for it...had I paid more I would've felt much worse about this game.
An odd combination of satisfying and frustrating
September 7, 2014
I saw the initial reveal of this game at E3 a few years ago and, like most people, I was immediately interested and waited for its release. There's plenty of information on the Internet that goes over what happened during those 2 years between reveal and release, but overall this game does not deliver the impressions that it gave back then.I had this game pre-ordered for PS4 as a launch title. Then it was delayed and I cancelled my order; deciding instead to wait for impressions from professional reviewers and fellow gamers. Initial impressions were that it was very average and I will largely agree with that. I did not buy this game at launch and instead decided I'd wait until it went on sale or I could get a used copy. Eventually Amazon offered it for 40% off so I picked it up thinking that it had to be worth at least 30-something bucks. I finished the game and now have it up on eBay hoping to recoup some of that money. It was barely worth the money I paid. The first thing that struck me wrong about this game is the control scheme. It just feels... off. It's a "typical" 3rd person shooter so I was expecting a "default" control scheme but it wasn't what I got. It took me probably close to 3 hours to really become familiar with the controls. By the end of the game I had it figured out really well, but that's not a good thing. By extension, I never felt like the game controlled well even when I had the control system figured out well. Cars handle pretty poorly for a game that has such a strong emphasis on driving. Sure, they are all supposed to feel unique but I felt like a lot of them were excessively "loose" while everything else was incredibly "tight". Only the motorcycles really felt like fun to drive. Aiden controls pretty well, for the most part though. There were a few issues I had getting him to un-stick from cover or getting him to climb up or over an object. The gameplay in the game is chiefly divided into 3 separate categories: hacking, combat and driving. The hacking is fun and often very satisfying when it works perfectly. There's little mini-game puzzles that sometimes get thrown at you while performing hacks. They're not usually too hard but sometimes have time limits imposed on them. They're somewhat similar to the Bioshock water pipe puzzles. In combat situations the hacking can be a huge benefit to give you the upper hand. And that's when the game absolutely feels the best. I loved more than anything else the stealthy sections of the game. I loved hiding and picking enemies off one-by-one with my night-stick, overloading a nearby transformer, detonating the enemy's own grenades or simply shooting them in their stupid face with a silenced pistol. The silenced 1911 is my favorite weapon in the whole game. If this whole game was just a sneaky-hacky game I'd love it way more, but (in my opinion) everything else just isn't as good. The other weapons are rather standard (and as far as I know all real-life weapons) such as pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles and grenade launchers. The assault rifles and shotguns feel powerful and were my other go-to weapons when things got gritty. Overall I think combat is good and balanced. The driving sections of the game I felt were personally the worst parts of the game. Any time I had to chase down a subject in a car I just groaned. I usually had to do these sections lots of times because the cars handle so poorly I'd lose the target or crash my car into something ridiculous and take forever to get sorted out. Also, when chasing down target cars there are only a couple ways to incapacitate the cars and one of them involves "purchasing" the skill from the unnecessary upgrade path. The vehicles and chase sequences are easily my least liked portions of the game and they were relatively frequent.I found the story rather unexciting and uninspired. The characters were alright if not completely stereotyped. I found myself enjoying one of the supporting characters (Jordi) more than any of the others. He was well acted and had some real personality to him. Everybody else felt... bland. Aiden, even though he is supposedly fueled by vengeance, just comes off as being a gravely voiced butthurt toughguy. He's shallow and shows no character progression throughout the entire game. By the end of the game he talks about some remorse he has for his actions but never has any kind of revelations. His emotional range is either whiney baby or rage-fueled anger. It's like an on/off switch. You eventually meet a few characters that will help you seek revenge and even they feel one-note. Only Clara feels like she is a little more human than the rest. Clara, by the way seems to be largely influenced in appearance by Lisbeth from Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It's almost as if they couldn't create a hacker-type girl without seeking out a pop-culture reference to copy. The same goes for a DJ you meet later in the game that is a blatant copy of deadmau5 (I will forever pronounce it dead-mow-five).When this game was close to release all the talk on the Internet was about the "graphics downgrade" that it had been given over the years. Regardless of the truth about this it isn't very impressive graphically. Sure, it's better than the last-gen consoles could muster but it really doesn't feel like it pushes the new hardware very hard, especially when compared to other open-world games like inFamous: Secon Son (which looks incredible). The lighting is nice and is very dynamic and the weather effects look good. Particle effects and things like explosions look very good, though. The sound design is awesome, though! I played with a 5.1 surround system and it definitely utilizes it well. Explosions shook my sub and certain sections of the game had theme-appropriate music that sounded great. Gunfire and enemy voices echo well in the surround and passing cars at high speed gives a very nice front-to-rear whooshing effect. The sound design is personally better than the visual graphics. I won't say the graphics are bad, they're just not what we were expecting based on what we saw at E3 at the reveal.Overall, I think this game is decent. It's not good and it's not garbage. It's worth a play if you're interested, but don't expect too much out of it. I think I got decent fun out of it and whatever I make back from selling it will make up for all my frustrating moments. I think this game is like the new Assassin's Creed. The first AC game wasn't very good, but the sequels (more or less) got better each time. I think if we see a Watch_Dogs 2 it can improve greatly on what we see with this game. It's a very ambitious idea and one that has a lot of potential, it just isn't well realized with this game.
Felt let down on this one
August 17, 2014
I waited for a year for this game. I was so excited about it that I told people "Happy Watch Dogs Day!" on release day. Here's my short take after playing halfway through - and before anyone critiques that I didn't play it all the way through, take this into consideration - any great game should grab you at least 1/4 of the way through. You shouldn't have to wait to the end to enjoy it:Takeaways:- The hacking is fun, but did get old quickly.- The driving mechanics are absolutely terrible. It's like every car you drive is a garbage truck that goes too fast and can't negotiate corners.- The main missions ARE fun - however, the side missions are completely monotonous- The side mission (mini-games) are absolutely ridiculous. Bouncing around on giant flowers?- The graphics are good, but definitely a let down after seeing what other games can do on the PS4- The main character movements are not fluid - picture Uncharted and other 3rd person games where you feel like you are running along with the characters. This one just didn't complete.I will probably finish this one out, but I can honestly say for the first time that I was really disappointed in a game I had been looking forward to.
A mediocre attempt at something great
July 16, 2014
After its initial reveal I admit I was hyped, the thought of a modern day Assassin's Creed with next gen graphics was something that was hard to pass up. I wasn't too hung up about graphics downgrades, since it's still very early into the PS4 generation. I was concerned about all the of the ridiculous preorder editions and the real lack of compelling story in the preview trailers, but I was ready for a Next Gen open world game so I kept my preorder despite reservations. The experience so far, about 20+ hours in, has been pretty mediocre. WATCH_DOGS takes all of the things I really dislike about Assassins' Creed, such as bad parkour, tailing, meaningless collectibles and tower progression. It adds a hacking minigame and camera functionality, but it's not good enough to carry the game. What's especially silly is the fact that the game encourages you to use cameras and hacking to get to your objectives while remaining unseen, and then at the end of your mission it will throw in an alarm or a story point that causes you to fight all the guards you just circumvented. The further I get into the game, the more I rely on just shooting everything down and ignoring cameras and hacking, which is a bummer, especially since WATCH_DOGS adds virtually nothing to the already tired cover based shooting gameplay.I'm trying my best to say interested enough to finish the game, but the story isn't doing anything and all the immersion breaking features that they put into the game don't even make it a satisfying escapist experience. It doesn't have the romanticism that Assassins' Creed relies on, which is why it ultimately fails to keep me hooked.Given the success of the game sales wise, I'm sure we'll be seeing new WATCH_DOGS titles every year from now, hopefully they can improve on story and immersion, and add some real car physics and unique gameplay that isn't overpowered by gunplay. The game is a solid 3 out of 5, not so terrible that you won't want to play it, but more of a decent distraction until other PS4 games are released later this year.
It was ok. Pretty decent stealth, plot, TERRIBLE driving and cops.
June 7, 2014
I completed it, and did most of most of the rest of it. Except the online, which I tried and definitely didn't like, and it is completely optional. The plot is decent - SyFy level (which is ok for a game). The main character is kind of a turd though, and the women are all one-dimensional. Hopefully, we can get a main toon to be a woman in the next Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed, or Far Cry.I cannot stress HOW TERRIBLE THE DRIVING IS. And the cop chases are ridiculous. This is NOT A GAME WITH MUCH REPLAY VALUE. Unlike say Infamous, this one would be torture to replay from the beginning. It was very fun in parts, VERY frustrating in other parts, and bland in some as well.

Very disappointed.

I tried to like this game, but I did not find the graphics or the story appealing. I didn't care what was going on and found myself bored. That being said, maybe it's not my genre. Horizon zero dawn and destiny are my absolute favorites for graphics and playability.
Broken game
July 15, 2016
Far cry 4 had dropping frame rates, poor targetting system, and broken levels. As I played far cry if too many things appeared on screen the frame rate would drop almoat freezing the screen. When I would aim at an enemy my bullets wouldn't hit the target. I used a sniper rifle and was unablen to obtain a headshot. Futhermore, levels would just fall apart. I would activate a check point only to have the screen black out . Disappointing
Not as good as the 3rd.

update on farcry 4 so far. good graphics, but as you go on in the game it gets boring doing same thing over and over. there is more side missions than the campaign mode.after you beat the game- you will not play it no more, there is no replay value in farcry 4 at all. you will get mad at times playing farcry 4 because you go to a bell tower to another bell tower or killing animals after animals and you just get bored with it. save your money and wait for witcher 3 or batman.overall graphics are good like i said, but the gameplay is just boring, boring, boring
Not that good
February 24, 2015
I got this game thinking it was going to be a blast, but I was very sadly disappointed. I feel like I am doing the same thing over and over again, and not really getting anything out of it. For the money I just honestly don't think it's worth it. Ubisoft really has not been releasing very good games recently.

I personally did not enjoy this game because
February 11, 2017
I bought this game on a whim, and didn't follow any of the hype leading up to its release, so I bought this thing blind and without bias. I personally did not enjoy this game because:1) The main character was very bland and boring. He didn't seem to react appropriately or have any sort of emotions displayed when things happened. He was VERY stoic which kind of bored me.2) The fact he could use his smartphone to make specific manhole covers blow up out of the ground was kind of weird. There were other things he could use his phone to control that made you scratch your head like that too.3) The story itself wasn't bad, but it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be believable or outlandish. There were times when it felt more like GTA, and times when it felt more like Saints Row. It just kept dipping back and forth into each one.
I do like the ability for the entire game to be open ...
September 29, 2015
I was excited about a game with soo much. but there is a lot going on with a lot to earn. I do like the ability for the entire game to be open and you can roam where ever you want. I got lost in the game before starting the mission. Screwed around walking and exploring and I see this side mission of challenge. I had to take a care and drive (deliver) it to another site without getting caught by the police. I did like that you have to hide from the helicopters but with the horrible driving controls it was virtually impossible to escape. took me forever, like weeks. You cannot play anything else until you complete the side mission. You are locked in. So finally after that, my mood for the game was killed. Did I say, I have not started the main mission yet.
Would have been four-stars if driving was improved
May 31, 2015
Pros:- This is a decent free-roaming game. You really feel like you are on the streets of Chicago. Although you can't go in buildings unless it's required for a mission and you can't clear small obstacles unless they are programmed to be climbable.- The theme is quite unique and very original. Hacking through an imposed security grid (primarily through security cameras) is a nice change of pace from the usual shoot, smash, and grab vigilante games.- Hacking ctOS centers and taking down crime gangs was fun. Some of the side missions (like playing chess) didn't appeal to me but it's nice that they included some diverse content.Cons:- Driving is the deal-breaker on this one. Vehicles are difficult to control even with routine driving and damn near impossible with high-speed chases. And many of the episodes indeed require high-speed chases. Cars drive like there is some serious play in the wheel and steering is too sensitive on the PS4 controller with no way to adjust it (like with X-axis sensitivity). Of course, your enemies all drive perfectly. And the police cars defy all laws of physics as they catch up and surround you when you're doing 110 mph. Had the developers either omitted driving sequences from the game or made controlling the vehicles more manageable then this would be a four-star game. All they had to do was to make steering sensitivity adjustable (or make the driving by the police a little less God-like).- Cannot explicitly save and since the campaign sequence is linear, you cannot go back to a mission or skip it for later. YouTubes on this game aren't great because contributors couldn't save and go back once they had perfected a mission. They had to do some serious editing or play the game all the way through again.- You can't jump. You can climb boxes but you can't jump over many obstacles or make the 3 foot leap from a boat to the dock.- You can't shoot from you car (but the cops chasing you sure can!)- The last mission is particularly frustrating. You secure a fast car, but after a cut-scene the game takes it away from you and you have to steal whatever's available. You start at night so you can use blackout, but also after the cut-scene it's suddenly broad daylight. And I get it that my archenemy is jamming the city as I try to complete the mission, but how does he blur my vision. I'm a human with uncorrected vision and now he's got some ability to impair my eyesight from miles away with a mouse click. The developers wanted to make it difficult so instead of adding content, they just added nonsensical constraints to the gameplay. They were probably behind schedule and over-budget by that point.- Another nuisance is bystanders yelling at you for walking too close to them on the sidewalks or driving normally in their proximity. After almost a hundred crime alerts where you have saved citizens' lives they still shout profanities at you. This gets old after 40 hours into the game. Driving a car is hard enough without the hate and discontent from the peanut gallery.
I like the characters better than GTAV
May 13, 2015
I like the characters better than GTAV, but the gameplay is a little slow and disjointed. It doesn't really give you reasons to do the activities other than figuring out you need money. The hacking mechanic is cumbersome while driving and it is too easy to perform hacks you didn't want on accident in all cases. The fact that people invade your game while you are in the middle of going somewhere is also kind of annoying. Not even sure what the incentive is to catch hackers that invade. Overall it feels like there isn't a clear incentive to do many of the activities that are available and they don't do a good job of introducing you to them.
Where To Start On This Train Wreck
March 24, 2015
Watch_Dogs made a splash when it was first announced as it promised a new approach to open world gameplay in a totally interconnected world. Hack anything! Go in guns blazing! Be a shadow who moves in silence! As usual, when you see a promise for the moon be prepared for the reality. Watch_Dogs isn't the worst game I've ever played, but it didn't take long for me to be tired of it. A great story can save shoddy gameplay, and an incredibly fun gameplay system can allow a player to overlook a lacking narrative, but Watch_Dogs can't deliver either. The gameplay has some neat ideas, but it's more of a chore to play than a joy. As for the narrative, wow, it's hard to think of a more unlikable protagonist in recent memory. I actively wanted this character to get killed, and the world he inhabited wasn't much better. Tired 'hacker' tropes, some almost impressively bad morality perspectives, and a gameplay feature that is basically continuous invasions of privacy all work toward making you wonder why you're even playing.I won't rate the title a one star, because the art design is actually pretty nice and there are some good foundational gameplay mechanics that might spawn a much better sequel. Also, there is one very positive thing I will say for Watch_Dogs. It made playing Shadow Of Mordor all the better in comparison.
Clara should have been the main character
August 27, 2014
This is really not a great game. I had this game on preorder, they even had the ps4 watch dogs bundle but this game was delayed half a year for absolutely nothing. The graphics are next gen quality...but the gameplay and story lacks luster. The story dragged on and lost interest in the bland and boring main character. Clara is the main gravitational point in this game because she has the most spark and charm out of all the characters. It would do this game much better justice. She's hot, she's interesting, she's alive, and she has personality. Aiden is a MAJOR drag on this story and has a very weak personality. It was a major disappointment to me as to how the game creators disposed of Clara in the middle of the game.- The story is just plain horrible and cliched. The plot just continues to disappoint on and on as the game progresses and the ending is very very lazy. It also hints at a sequel..which i will not be buying at all.- Graphics are dumbed down compared to what was in the trailers- Filler/Baloney dialogue. Enemies blab on an on and never shut up or say anything relevant.- Hit detection is way off- Dump the radio music...seriously what is this trash?- Cannot resell weaponry for cash in the store. You're stuck with guns you'll never use again.- Police know where you are on the map even when searching for you throughout the city. Wherever you go..they will gravitate toward that area. Unlimited resources. They all shoot like mad dogs whether from helicopters or on foot.- You're supposed to be a good guy but the game pretty much requires you to hack innocent people's accounts and steal money from them. Also the vigilante bar is useless since you will need to kill many people in the missions.- Enemy A.I. is stupid as hell. Sometimes they run in circles, sometimes they run in place, they never realize bullets are flying at them. Even when being hit they just stand there for a second.- Car chases are a complete joke and modeled after every generic game there is - the targets gets in the car and dissapears at light speed..then waits for you a few blocks away until you catch up and he can start driving like michael schumacher on cocaine again.- When collecting a lot of xp at the end of missions, the game lags.- Horn sounds (although never really utilized) sound straight out of a ps2 game- Dumping a car in an alley way and stealing a new one has absolutely no effect on your wanted level. Very frustrating when you're trying to evade police. The only effective ways you can actually evade police is by train and by boat.- When you're driving at full speed through the city, you'll start seeing cars and objects spawn in front of you (ps2 quality)- Found a trick to get unlimited xp the first few hours in the game- Loading times get a bit frustrating after a while- Free roam in multiplayer is completely useless- What did he say?? I could hardly hear aiden's voice overs..make sure to turn on subtitles- The little sound bite it makes when you die gets really annoying- Secret islands or areas that are hard to get to are not interesting at all. The map is just dead besides the side missions. There's literally nothing to do and to be honest the city is depressing to be in.- The sight seeing side mission with players being the mayor of the properties was a good idea but used in a wrong way. This should have been a multiplayer battle for control of the property, not about how many times you visit the place. They really had no fun with this game.- ZERO replay valueGood- Very human like movements when navigating through the world- Pedestrian movements and behavior are interesting- When accident's happen, people get out to inspect their cars and have conversations- The poker game is a great addition- Graphics are amazing....BUT not exactly like it was advertised- Chicago looks like you're looking at the real thing from far away especially from Pawnee- The soundtrack (not the radio) is great and goes together well with the events happening in the game

Boring. I hate stealth games in which you are forced to hide because otherwise they spot you and kill you. Long live Doom!

Terrible, horrible garbage.

Worst game I have yet to play for ps4. It's like a bad GTA 4 mod. Driving is terrible, slidey cars. Hacking mechanics are not really deep in open world. Story is a godawful halfbaked mess with paper thin unrealistic characters and a nonsense revenge plot. Save your money, buy literally any other game.
Delayed release and still sucked.

Game is horrible. I cannot believe it was pushed back for months and still sucked. I sold right after a week of having it. I could not get over the ridiculous car chase. Yep could not pass it and said F it.
Decent game, expires game content code
June 26, 2015
amazon gave me a Watch_Dogs game with an expired redemption code for the bonus content... Pretty weak man. I just wanted that extra game play yo. The game was only 12 bucks though so I'm not too upset. 1 star for the expired code, 2 to 3 stars for the game itself. It is pretty boring to be honest, as it gets repetitive fast, "hack this guarded area, get access to hack this now!" Over and over basically. The code expired in October of 2014.
This wasn't made good at all

Not what I expected after all Ads in youtube. This wasn't made good at all, thanks to return policy at Amazon which the only thing that deserved a 5 starts not the game. It deserve a no star.
Nort worth the money.

As great as this sounds, it really isn't. They spent more time on the stupid storyline and cut scenes than the actual game and it plays like an even crappier GTA. Very disappointed. If this was $25 it would be worth it.
