Five Star Reviews: | 63% Perfect shoes for beginners September 9, 2017 Perfect shoes for beginners. Cute color. I never wear socks with them and they've never irritated any parts of my feet and also don't stink at all. BEST CLIMBING SHOE YET! March 29, 2017 EPIC CLIMBING SHOE!!! I love the lace up vs. Velcro and these are like a Timex watch, they take a lickin' and keep on tickin'! Great quality and I've worn them a ton outside climbing, and they still look fairly new!!! Great shoes March 3, 2016 Make sure you go and get your foot measured in the same model before buying online because rock climbing shoes vary in sizes and you really can't predict what size you will be. GREAT SHOES. I really love them! I am a beginner and they work a million times better, and feel so much more comfortable, then the shoes I was renting from the gym for the first month. I get compliments on them pretty often because they look great too. and it works really great for rock climbing July 22, 2015 The rock climbing shoes should be 1-2 size smaller than your normal shoes size. My normal feet size is 5-5.5 (US Size). I bought this shoes as 4.5, and the first several times, my feet felt hurt when I ware them, but after several times, my feet can feel used to it, and it works really great for rock climbing. Great shoes from a rookie climber January 18, 2015 These are my first climbing shoes! Whoever said climbing shoes were supposed to hurt was wrong - I usually wear a size 7 1/2 shoe, so I got the size 6 1/2 in these, and they're surprisingly comfortable! Well worth the investment! :) | 58% Love the shoes but don't choose your size based on the chart. August 17, 2017 I chose my size based on other people's reviews. Don't buy the size based on the chart. I wear a 10.5 and someone had posted a review showing the size they bought. So cool. July 13, 2017 These shoes are very cool, but mostly i have severe arthritis and was sure they would not work but they fit great and are very comphy considering. I love them and im very excited to continue my climbing lessons. These shoes seem to be a great starter shoe June 26, 2017 These shoes seem to be a great starter shoe. Not too aggressive, pretty comfortable, and not too expensive. They ended up being just slightly looser than I thought they would be, I'd recomend ordering a 1/2 size down on the EU size chart. Great shoes, pay attention to the size chart April 30, 2017 Great shoes, I can't wait to break them in. Hopefully they'll develop more grip as I wear them. I love the lace design which I have always trusted over velcro but that is just a personal choice. Great shoes! March 24, 2017 Great quality! Not very flexible so make sure you get the correct size. I bought a size 45 which ended up being a tad bit too small for me, so I returned it with no problems and got a 46 which fits perfectly! The toes have very good reinforcement and grip when climbing. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 24% Four Stars May 31, 2017 A little tight with socks but perfect without. Have yet to climb with them though. Good for learning the basics March 26, 2016 I love the color, and for the price they perform as expected. They were a little bigger than what I needed but it's hard to know what size you need without trying on for each brand before buying. It's better to buy shoes a little smaller for Rick climbing, you use your big toe so all the weight needs to adjust to your big toe, not be evened out Climb away February 4, 2016 I normally wear a size 8. Since you climb w out socks and want them snug, I bought the 7.5. I've worn them twice for indoor climbing w no issues. I only climb about an hour each time. but it's nice to be able to adjust the tightness of the ... January 27, 2016 I'm a beginner climber and these shoes have worked well for me so far (1 month in). In the future I may get velcro instead of laces, but it's nice to be able to adjust the tightness of the shoe via lace. but they should also be comfortable. Just use the free returns and get a ... January 19, 2016 Order a size larger than you'd expect. These shoes fit tight, and they are supposed to, but they should also be comfortable. Just use the free returns and get a larger size if you have an issue. Great quality though | 30% The Challenges of Sizing November 3, 2017 Good all-around climbing shoe and the price is right - a bit large so you may want to go a size down. Since it's European measurements, it makes things a little difficult. May be smart to include both euro and american measurements in the ad - I had to go to a different website to make sure I chose the right size. Climbing shoes are meant to feel nice and snug August 16, 2017 Climbing shoes are meant to feel nice and snug, but these feel as they run a bit smaller than the stated shoe size printed on them. Four Stars June 3, 2017 Decent fit and nice color, didn't have the color I wanted but it's a good product Initially felt a little small, but then stretched to ... June 2, 2017 Initially felt a little small, but then stretched to the point that they feel slightly large now. Stretch is expected from an unlined shoe such as this, and the experienced stretch was completely within the expected range. I like the laces better than velcro May 17, 2017 These shoes were a replacement to velcro version of another company that didn't work out. I like the laces much better. They feel a bit more secure even though they take a bit more time to put on and off between climbs. So far great quality and comfort. - He liked the feel and look of them December 27, 2016 Sending it back to get a smaller size as not true to sizing. He wears a 10-10.5 and he could place two fingers behind his heel inside the shoe.Getting another pair a size down so hopefully these will work,- He liked the feel and look of them. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% Good shoe but not great January 22, 2017 These shoes were ok, I ordered them in a 36M ( I usually wear street shoe size 7). I tried these out and while they worked ok the back where my heel was dug into my foot to much to the point where I could not keep them on for more than 2 min intervals. The shoe size fit well I just did not like the feel of the shoe.I ended up getting the Scarpa Women's Vapor V in a 38.5 and I could not be happier. Comfortable but poorly made. May 9, 2016 Pro: these shoes fit my feet like a glove. So comfortable, yet so snug, making climbing up walls a pleasure.Big Con: I've had three pairs of these fall apart on me, each lasting less than 6 months. The rubber wears through instantly, followed by the rand. Two of my pairs wore all the way through to my toes, and one pair also had a shoelace loop bust after one month. Resoling is usually the solution for vigilant climbers, who catch their shoes before they're too far gone....but please, resoling after 4 months? That's ridiculous. I climb 2-3x per week in the gym. I'm not particularly aggressive, though it should be noted that the wearing is always in the exact same spot on my left toe, so it could be user-specific. The La Sportiva warranty is garbage. I swore off these shoes for a while...until I tried on 4 other brands and could find no other shoes that fit. I guess I'm chained to these shoes now...just have to be very vigilant of the state of the rubber... I recommend trying these shoes on in store before purchasing them ... March 4, 2016 These are really cute shoes, but the size chart on Amazon.com is wrong. I purchased a pair of shoes in Euro size 41, which the chart says is equivalent to a U.S. size 9, but the tag in the shoe says that Euro size 41 equals U.S. size 8.5, not U.S. size 9. I recommend trying these shoes on in store before purchasing them on Amazon.com. Other than that, the shoes are fine. Three Stars December 2, 2015 A bit large which was surprising since most climbing shoes run small.Returned and ordered a smaller size. 5US street I recommend 36-36. 5 April 13, 2015 Gave it to my mother who is a 7.5 in street shoes. If you're a 6.5US street I recommend 36-36.5. I ended stopping by my local REI to get the nago in 36. Whole size too big October 5, 2014 I chose 3 stars because the shoe was too big but, I would rate it bigger if it was the right size. I used the sizing chart to get my size and it was completely off. Once I get the right size I'll post another review on them once I use them. They seemed like really good shoes. | 8% If I were to do again, 1/2 size bigger ... May 22, 2017 If I were to do again, 1/2 size bigger than normal...but I'm not a climber,,,just working on a very steep roof pitch and thought it a worthy investment. Comfortable, but wear out inexcusably quickly. May 9, 2016 I love the fit of these climbing shoes. They're snug in all the right places, not unattractive, and the leather keeps the foot smell at bay for longer than synthetic shoes. HOWEVER, I have one complaint...which may or may not be user specific. I have gone through three pairs of these shoes in the past 1.5 years. The rubber sole wears away incredibly fast, followed by the rand right after. 2 out of my 3 pairs had a hole worn all the way through the leather to my toe within 6 months. This is not okay. Granted, it always happened on my left foot, in the exact same spot, so it might be related to the way my foot is shaped. La Sportiva was no help. Their warranty is so contrived and ridiculous. I swore off these shoes because I was upset with La Sportiva, but after trying on countless other brands, I couldn't find anything that fit quite like these. My solution was to buy three pairs at once and keep a close eye on the rubber to be sure to send them in for resoling before they get too bad. Regular shoe June 11, 2015 This shoe bends a lot on the tip. The rubber it's no the stickiest. If you are learning, this is not your best option, in a few moths you will have to sell the shoe. eyelet ripped shortly after purchase. December 12, 2014 Fit was great and has plenty of grip, particularly for crag climbing, but on of the little eyelets that holds the lace ripped after less than a month of use. still usable but i expect better for the price. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% There are no reviews yet | 1% I am disappointed in these shoes August 14, 2017 I am disappointed in these shoes. I bought them 9 months ago, and they are already starting to fall apart. The rubber on the toe area has come off and the metal eyelet has also come off. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 2% Killer shoes August 29, 2016 This is my first pair of climbing shoes. I am size 7.5 or 8 and got size 39 because the shoes are supposed to be tight. The first time (and the only time) I wore the shoes without socks for 3 hours straight. The shoes were painful and tight, when I took off the shoes, I had blister at several different areas. I really didn't like the shoes, returning them. Sizing on the box read: EUR 42, USA ... October 7, 2014 Sizing on the box read: EUR 42, USA 10Sizing on the shoe read: EUR 42, USA 9Did not match! | 3% Completely Disappointing August 11, 2017 Not even sure where to start, this show was such a let down on every practical level. Sure, it LOOKS good, but that's it. If you have average feel like I do, you'll look like one of Cinderella's evil step sisters trying to squeeze into the glass slipper. No way anyone can fit into these unless they can describe their foot as "dainty". Length on them is completely fine, but the width is insanely narrow. The second, glaring, and unfortunate problem with these is the sole. Basically, the sole is hard and slick- think old crusty leather, and you are close. I'm dumbfounded that these are marketed as climbing shoes, honestly. Bound. March 7, 2017 I feel like I'm a China woman trying to bind her feet with these. If I didn't have such wide feet I think the length would be just fine. Spend a little more and get a lot more September 1, 2016 I guess you get what you pay for. I tested these after my 5.10 coyotes wore out. The rubber and denseness on these shoes made me constantly uncertain about my footing. When lead climbing, uncertain footing is not good. Now they just sit on my shelf. The quality of the shoe seems fine but they are really a climbing shoe in appearance only. I didn't use them that much nor did I treat them hard or bad but just lasting 3 months with random use isn't ... January 22, 2016 I bought those shoes las October and haven't been that much climbing since then. However now at the back of the shoe the leather / fabric broke and now there is a whole. I didn't use them that much nor did I treated them hard or bad but just lasting 3 months with random use isn't worth the money. Sorry for that. Wished it would last longer. They fell apart soon after I bought them. August 13, 2014 These fell apart on me. First one of the top eyelets pulled out. Then one of the tongues pulled out. Really poorly made really. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
