This is the bottle opener you want!
April 17, 2017
I love this bottle opener! When my old one finally broke after years of use, I immediately purchased this one to replace it because it is such a great bottle opener! It is easy to use and does not require batteries!
Excellent tool to have
July 20, 2016
I use it all the time and its very trustworthy, smooth, especially quick and holds a grip real tight.Love the box it came in because I would throw it all around and it would get lost and probably brake if my kids got a hold of it.I've had it for over 6 months and I'm loving it.

Oh yes, I nominate this as a great tool, it goes in our RV when we travel. East to use, would be nice to have a simple set of directions. Finally learned that not only does it remove the cork easily, it also takes the cork off the screw piece.
I wish this was as affordable 10+ years ago!

"Been waiting to own one of these babies for many years. As far back as I can remember them being on infomercials. I finally was able to purchase one but, later found it was mainly constructed of hard plastic and did not last very long. This one is much sturdier and is made mostly of metal components. Takes only a few seconds to figure out how it works. If you're a little confused watch my short video. In this house we love our wine, we have been using this without an fail. My only complaint is that I didn't have this earlier.Product was supplied at a discount or free for me to use for the purpose of this review. I find if you can see it for yourself, become a more informed buyer, you can decide if this is right for you!I try to put a lot of effort into testing these items, even full priced. Reviews are important to me when making a decision about any purchase. I hope mine are helpful to you!Happy Shopping!~ ❤ Lorna ❤ ~

I have a bad right hand and it makes it so much easier to open wine bottles and now do not have to ask my wife to do it.
This is THEEEEE BEST opener I have ever tried.
August 20, 2015
It just came in the mail today. It was perfect, because today is our anniversary. My husband and I brought home a nice bottle to celebrate- I couldn't wait to try out this opener. First of all, this opener operates like butta. It is so incredibly smooth, it is no work at all. No twisting, turning, pushing down... there is absolutely no struggle at all. I was skepitcal, I watch a youtube video on it... for $38 + shipping, yeah it's not exactly cheap- however- I see why now. It is made with quality materials, it comes beautifully packaged, it is an elegant design. The craftsmenship is superb. I'm a professional wedding photographer, and I could see giving this as a gift to my clients. It's gorgeous. I'm glad I spent the extra money to research this, it was money well spent, I can definitely see this lasting a long time. Also the foil cutter that comes with it... wow! I have actually cut my thumb on that foil before, so just the cutter in itself is great! Thanks!

Loved it so much we gave one as a gift
February 29, 2016
My wife goes through about one rabbit style - quick opener a year, the worm gears just strip out, so (being an engineer) I did a ton of research on different styles and how they are made. This is BY FAR superior to any other unit. We have had one since Christmas and love it so much we just got another as a gift. One of my favorite parts is that it actually extracts the "plastic" corks that are becoming more and more common, most of the other units can't handle the plastic corks and you end up fighting with the thing to manually removed it from the opener.

The foil cutter does take a little practice because it is different than the typical unit but works well once you get the placement down.
Perfect gift for a Wine lover
February 10, 2016
After trying a variety of manual and electric wine bottle openers this is by far the easiest and most reliable opener I have found. Opening a bottle of wine and avoiding the cork residue works every time as the opener does not penetrate through the bottom of the cork and dry cork from bottles that are not stored properly have not been an issue for this opener. I also find the foil removal tool that comes with the kit a nice way to ensure clean cork access without a lot of effort, tools included with other openers have never worked properly for me and usually just tear the foil and then I have a mess to clean up. This tool gives me a piece of foil that is similar to a bottle cap in size and leaves the bottle with a clean look for display at a dinner party or other occasion.

August 26, 2015
Well designed making it easy to uncork a bottle with a moderate amount of strength which is a plus for seniors as myself especially who seem to have a tad less force than before. The handle seems quite durable which is important as one of the plastic handles on my last screwpull opener just broke trying to remove a stubborn cork.
The Best Wine Bottle Opener..
August 26, 2015
We entertain a lot...we go thru lots of wine when we have company. After using other bottle openers that have flunked out in the past I am
so happy with this opener. Easy to use, also comes with an extra bottle screw and a cutter for the wine seal. Would make an excellent
gift along with a bottle of wine (with a cork) so beautifully packaged in its own plush box. Putting this on my Christmas list for gifts to
give...
so I could enjoy my cigars
August 11, 2015
Disclaimer: I am not a wine drinker, but I was very tired of buying 3-4 battery operated corkscrews each year for my wife. What might make her quit fussing, I thought, so I could enjoy my cigars? One of my neighbors has this opener, and I knew their experience had been positive, so I took the plunge. This is a QUALITY product and the customer service was fantastic! Saturday evening, my wife used it for the first time and was wowed. I could go on and on about all the good qualities as some have, but the bottom line is that you can't go wrong. Period.

Now, back to that cigar.

I really love this wine bottle opener
November 22, 2016
I really love this wine bottle opener, my only complaint is that sometimes it gets stuck. Overall good purchase but there have been time when I had to pull out my old wine opener because the rabbit did not go through the cork properly.
Second best but still good
February 12, 2016
When my many year old Brookstone opener broke, I immediately looked to replace it. While Brookstone still sells what looks like the unit I had, the copy implied that much of the unit was now plastic rather than the original metal. I therefore opted for the Rabbit which seems made of more durable materials. While the unit operates well, it is not quite as easy as the old Brookstone one and removing the cork from the corkscrew is not as foolproof, but this kind of opener is still miles ahead of anything short of a table mounted ($100) unit...and you need to drink a lot of wine to justify the cost and the décor issues for one of those.

This opener is solid and smooth in opening wine bottles. It is heavier than other openers I have used and removing corks from the opener still presents an incovenience.
Nice heavy duty opener
November 1, 2015
This replaced a rabbit opener that failed. It is the same as the old one, so time will tell, but it is a good, heavy rabbit opener. The failure we had was due to the plastic insert that holds the corkscrew and this one is the same.

Well designed corkscrew

Vinomaster works well in extracting very tight corks. The only drawback is getting the removed cork out of the Vinomaster--a relatively minor problem. I have actually broken another rabbit style corkscrew in attempting to remove very tight corks.

Good opener - little stiff to use
February 21, 2016
We replaced our 'Rolls Royce' stainless steel Screwpull leaver opener with this one when it broke. It certainly does the job but is not as solid as the screwpulll one we had. We didn't want to spend another fortune on a lever bottle opener, so that's why we bought this one. It's a lot stiffer to use than our previous one (which was very smooth) and it also doesn't get the cork out fully when the arm has been moved to the extremes. You have to pull the cork out by pulling the opener up, off the bottle. This certainly ensures that the cork doesn't get pierced which is nice (although, our other opener also didn't pierce the cork all the way through but got the cork out with the lever action).

All in all, it works well, if with a little more effort and is certainly a good value for money. I do miss our more expensive opener's smoothness and ease of use, however, the price tag didn't warrant a second one within 5 years. This one does a good enough job. The wine tastes the same ;-)

excellent wine opener but the tool for taking off the aluminum wrap is not as good.
Very nice with one small nit pick
January 15, 2016
This is a neat looking and (mostly) easy to use opener. It works well and seems very well made. The only thing I didn't love about it is the leverage when opening a bottle is a little weird. I'm used to the lever style openers that have a handle sticking out (like the original rabbit style) and then you have a nice handle to leverage against the pull lever as you pull the cork out. With this opener you hold onto the top of the bottle and pull the lever and it makes the opening a little more of an awkward motion.

have to return it, cork is hard to remove from the opener
A good cork remover
December 30, 2015
This opener works. I had, perhaps naively, expected it to work effortlessly. It does take some effort, both pushing down and pulling up, and the bottle has to be held between the legs to keep it steady. But the opener removes the cork cleanly each time. The least attractive part of it is the relative difficulty of removing the cork from the corkscrew after the bottle is opened. But this is not a deal-breaker; the device is good value.

I ended up spilling wine all over the place because the cork didn't come out all the way. It took some getting used to and I ended up going back to my regular corkscrew.
Nice, but with reservations
February 16, 2016
My husband does like it although it takes someone holding the bottle as he pulls down to uncork...maybe it will loosen up in time.

February 10, 2016
For my use, the Vinomaster has two shortcomings. First, the lever does not lift the cork completely free of the bottle. A last pull must be made on the opener. Second, releasing the cork from the opener requires some dexterity to avoid dropping the cork on the floor. I can live with the Vinomaster, but it could be more user friendly.

Don't waste your money.
February 19, 2016
Truly disappointing. This product is a cheap knock-off of the original rabbit. I got fooled by the name "Best Rabbit..." and bought one for a friend as a gift. I was surprised when he opened it and saw what it is. At the time I thought "Maybe it will be good enough." It's not. Don't waste your money.

January 13, 2016
After having this for only three months it completely fell apart and was unusable. This compared to the actual REAL Rabbit wine bottle opener I had that lasted more than three years. Spend the extra money and get the real thing.
Too expensive for longevity
November 9, 2015
I bought this item for my boyfriend because I thought the copper was really cool and different. However, it's only been 3 months of using it and it hasn't held up at all. The top screw part thing falls out which prevents from pulling the cork out of the bottle. I can't return because passed return date. If I had to do over again I would buy name brand one from name brand company. Hope this helps make decision.Gave 2 stars because I do really like the colors.
Broke twice within two months
September 30, 2015
Horrible. It cannot stand up to daily use on tight corks in wine bottles. The first time it failed the machined rod came out of it's hole; I superglued it which seemed to work. Secondly, the collar that holds the screw guide broke right off. Again, not able to work as a wine bottle opener. This pretty much makes it useless. Absolutely not impressed with it's manufacturing.
Wobbly, cheaply made, and doesn't quite work
August 18, 2015
I had high hopes for this wine opener given the good reviews, and I really wanted to like it, but I really couldn't stand it. Contrary to most reviews here, I thought this opener is poorly made--the parts are quite wobbly, and I noticed small cracks around the screwholes after only one use. (I didn't know if they were there before I even used it.) Also, the opener wouldn't remove the cork from the opener itself (after removing the cork from the wine bottle). I'd expected that the handles would grab onto the cork, so that I could lift the handle again to remove the cork from the opener. However, the handles wouldn't close in enough to make this work. And because the coil/snake itself is loose (by design), it is actually very difficult to remove the cork from the bottle even manually.

Great while it lasted
October 2, 2016
I bought one of these on Amazon in September 2015 and liked it so much I bought a second one in November. The newer one got a decent amount of use (maybe two or three bottles opened per week). Well, last week the opener broke and it is unusable. The piece that the corkscrew goes through (and forces the corkscrew motion) broke loose and it doesn't stay in place resulting in broken corks. I had to compare it to the other one I bought to see what was wrong. I tried to contact the manufacturer (vinomaster), but there is no no website, no contact info...nothing available on a Google search. The page where you can sign up for a "lifetime" warranty doesn't work. So, it's a nice opener and it came in a lovely box, but don't expect it to last too long. Oh well. Time to look for another one.
Did not last!!!
June 19, 2016
This product worked good for about 6-7 months, then it began to deteriorate. First the screws on the foil cutter stripped out, making the cutter useless, then the main screw on the opener itself broke, making it impossible to remove corks from the bottle. This product also has crappy instruction on how to use it. I will say when I did figure out how to use it, it worked great!!! But it did not last and for the money spent it was not worth it!!!! I am back to using an old-fashioned manual screw and lever opener and a knife to cut the foil. A real disappointment!!!
I am also wondering about the veracity of some of the "unpaid" reviews.
I also must say this is the first product I have bought on Amazon that I got upset enough to review badly. I am not usually a negative poster but this ticked me off!!
Choose others at this price point.
February 12, 2016
Thought the simplier bottle grip would notbe better than my Houdini, so after the second corkscrew pin went bad after 8 years, I bought this model.
It turns out that this design does not work for grabbing the top of bottle tops of California wines.
It also 3/8ths of an inch above rom meeting the top of the cork and a lot off center so I have split corks several corks in the two months in use so far.
Not recommended.
Not as good as others
December 30, 2015
I bought this because of its nearly 5 star rating. Unfortunately I don't concur. Mine seems to bind in both directions, and I have to finesse it a bit to lift or depress the handle full-stroke. Also, it doesn't fully pull the cork from the bottle, so I actually have to hold the bottle while pulling the Vinomaster upward to remove the last quarter inch of cork.
Inadequately designed product.
July 12, 2015
Well engineered, easier to use that Rabbit, smaller and easier to store. Material seems sound and ease of use is excellent. Well packaged, with spare screw, too. I agree with all the other reviews.

6 month update: The handle snapped off, the device is useless. The pivot for the inner handle that you hold against the bottle is molded into the plastic main part, and wasn't strong enough. Did not use a lot of force on it. Better to get a brand that's all metal.

Shoddy junk, don't buy it!
November 17, 2016
A total piece of junk, very poorly made, no quality control. Except for only buying one of them and having it survive opening about 12 bottles, in my case, I had much the same experience as Daniel L. reports for this item in his review: Use it a few times and it falls apart. Yes, it seems very shiny and the all-metal construction looks durable. However, it uses tiny plastic plug covers to hide the metal screws and rivets that hold the thing together. They aren't glued or sealed in any way, and they start to come off under pressure of *correct* use (and you'll be lucky if you notice they're gone). The critical screws and rivets are also not anchored in any way (other than by these plastic plugs, apparently) so they start to come loose and then one or more of them fall out (and you're lucky to notice them, too). After that: Disaster. The corkscrew pinion assembly just separated from its housing while I was halfway through opening a bottle, resulting in about an hour of hard figuring to finally complete the opening. Still have all (most? dunno!) of the parts that fell off, and I could probably re-assemble it in some fashion, but I didn't shell out $30 for a new home repair hobby!
Avoid this like the plague
November 10, 2016
I have purchased three of these over the last several years. The plastic bushing that the corkscrew passes through wears out in a year. On the most recent failure I asked for a replacement based on the 5-year warranty. I was asked for all of the original order details (provided) and photographs (provided) and have received no response after months. The design is intended to fail, and there is no such thing as a warranty. Avoid this like the plague.
Awesome while it lasts
March 30, 2016
This is a great wine bottle opener, but it seems it's so poorly made that it doesn't work for long. I purchased one that lasted about a year with light use, and then purchased this as a replacement, and it's lasted for only 3 months of occasional use. The product listing says it has a 5 year warranty, but the seller ignored my messages about the product failing. Unfortunately, the beautiful design and packaging don't account for much when it just stops working for no apparent reason after a relatively short period of time.
Pushes cork into bottle
November 1, 2015
This was purchased as a replacement for one that broke after many years of service. This is NOT the same product. It is made of inferior materials and pushes the cork into the wine bottle instead of removing it as it should. Do not waste your money on this item.
The Best Rabbit Wine Bottle Opener fell apart and the screw ...
September 28, 2015
The Best Rabbit Wine Bottle Opener fell apart and the screw completely bent over after about 5 uses. My previous bottle opener of similar design lasted over 10 years, so it is the quality of the opener.
Do NOT buy this item.
August 20, 2015
Firstly, I would like to say that they are sleek, stylish, and the all metal handles are very pretty. Even the boxes they come in are very nice. If there was a star for presentation, it would rank about a 4. As so long as you never plan to use it, all is good. Now we purchased two of these units thinking that they would last, drawn in by the illusion of durability from the pretty metal handles. This, sadly, was not the case. Each of these units broke only after a couple of bottles in exactly the same way. I saw naysayers to negative reviews by a person posting pictures on how to properly use this device. Do not be swayed. I personally own a winery, and I know how to use this device and devices similar to this. And before that I was a manager in a manufacturing facility for almost 16 years. For both of these items to break exactly the same way is either a defect in the materials, or a defect in the design, or both. Do NOT buy this item.

Good when I works ... But Not For Very Long
October 22, 2016
I bought two of these in an 18 month period. When they work they are great. Both ceased functioning. I replaced the first one thinking maybe I just got a lemon. The second worked for about 10 months and then the cork screw pulled fully apart from the unit when the screw holding it in broke and could not be replaced. And to be clear, I don't overuse it ... maybe once a week (or a bit more if I entertain ... which is infrequent). I expect much better for something that costs this much.

There is supposed to be a lifetime warranty, but the webpage for that doesn't work. Sadly, I would say to avoid this product!
Two broke in 3 months!
July 23, 2016
The first one I had lasted 3 months, then was no longer able to remove the cork from the Vinomaster. They replaced it, but from the start the new one was broken; a screw cap supposed to be removable to change the corkscrew keeps popping off. I tried registering the unit on their web site per their instructions to request a refund, and all I get is, "OOPS,This sign up form is not working. Please contact the website administrator."

Don't waste your money.
Doesn't pull the entire cork from bottle, broke after 50 uses
July 18, 2016
Opener only pulls the cork 80% out of the bottle. You then have to tug on the opener while still attached to the cork while bracing the wine bottle to remove the last 20% of the cork from the bottle. To make matters worse, to remove the cork from the opener once removed from the the bottle takes a fair amount of effort. Lastly, the opener broke at the top (made of plastic) after about 50 uses. This is a terrible product and design, and even if not broken, does not pull the cork fully. Go with a name brand or better product. This is junk.
One was for myself and the other was a gift to my fiance since we both love drinking wine
July 13, 2016
Bought two of these bottle openers. One was for myself and the other was a gift to my fiance since we both love drinking wine. This started out as a nice gift, but both of these have broken around the same time. The lever completely jams and left the bottle opener stuck on the bottle. Thus, I had to unscrew the opener out of the cork. It was a nice idea, but the quality of the product is sub-par. Now the website is currently not working in order for me to register the product for the warranty. Thus, I wonder if I will even be able to have my item replaced at this point. Bad quality all around-- the product and their website is a huge turn off.

March 14, 2016
BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!! I found this corkscrew to be clunky to operate. The whole pull mechanism was jerky. I bought it for a Valentines gift for my boyfriend because of all the rave reviews, which means I bought it about 2 weeks before it was even going to be used. We started using it on Valentines Day. Then less 3 weeks after starting to use it, it broke! Now, I can't return it. I can't recommend it at all.

I wish I could contact the company for a return. I would think they would want to know the issue with it.

Frustrated!
