Pretty good set up.

Great for replacement of your old worn out gear. Come's with everything, for a New build or a Rebuild, minus the body and neck. That is Outstanding for what it cost, that's for sure.

For $31 I brought back my strat knock off back to life! Woohoo. It came with so much for the price. Pretty much every component gets changed (beside the body and neck of course). For the price, as others have noted, you would think the pickups don't sound good, they do. The cover itself is great quality and mine had 2 plastic covers. The rear cover is pretty cheap looking so I reused mine, but again everything else was great, especially for the price. That said, you won't be using this on your nice strat (American or Mexican made). These are really made for knock offs.

I bought this basically to get the hardware and pickguard. I didn't think the pickups or electronics would be any good, but boy was I surprised. I actually enjoy the sound of this system more than my 2001 Fender Stratocaster.

Great pickups for the money. Sound as good as GFS and the other Artec imports. I changed the cermaic magnets to alnico V and IV. Sound terrific. If you are going to do this you need to know that these pickups use a thicker magnet with longer slugs. YOu can still make it work but the slugs(not the screws) at the top of the pickup will be pushed up. Doesn't effect the sound, just the look slighty. Keep in mind these pickups are great stock and you don't have to mess with them. I bought these to play around with magnets and ended up really liking them. I bought silver baseplates and installed Alnico IV in the neck and a rough cast V in the bridge for tamer sound

I fully expected these to be garbage. I read the good reviews, ya right...11 dollar pick ups. So I got a set to check them out. This could be the best deal on humbuckers anywhere. These do sound as good as folks say. Very clean and pure or turn it up for a very vintage rock sound. Push them further and they shred just fine. Better than any set I've tried under the 200 range. These were 14000 and 10500 resistance ....pretty similar to an overwound vintage coil. Best 11 bucks my Les Paul has had in it.

I was really skeptical, but needed some cheap pickups for a project guitar that I was given, and that's worth almost nothing. So I took a (small) chance on this inexpensive pair. They are extremely high output. The hottest pickups by far of those in all the 11 electric guitars I own. I usually prefer lower output, vintage pups, and so frankly, I didn't expect to like these. I expected shrill or muddy, lifeless tone for that price. And I have to say, that the tone is fantastic. Well rounded, but cuts through. The bridge pup is sharp, but not shrill, while the neck pup is strong and bass-ful but still defined and not muddy. I just really can't believe how good they are. I have Seymore Duncan JBs in my SG and I think I prefer these. Crazy!

These inexpensive pickups ROCK! I spent some time reading the reviews, and for the most part, I was encouraged, so why not. The bridge Zebra went in the bridge position of an Epiphone ES 339 I bought used and abused. The stock pickup was dead, and this was a no brainer, and turned out to be a quick and easy swap. The Zebra fit perfectly in the stock epiphone pickup ring. No sweat. I gave it 5 out of 5. It's bright, it's loud, it's crunchy when I want it to be. Watch your grounds, do good work soldering children, and just close your eyes and think Seymour or Dimarzio for a fraction.

WTF?! I knew pickup companies had been over-blowing their prices but if anything chisels that into concrete atop the mountain it's these. I was trying a few different pickups in my newest scratch build. These are the winners. I saw the price and said why not. I didn't know they would be just as good as any Duncan or Dimarzio and I've tried many! Rich tone is pouring out of my amp. These are a no-brainer. Anyone that says otherwise couldn't tell in a blind test. The neck metered right under 8K and the bridge almost 15k. The color is definitely the standard cream and black.

This is a great package deal I built a Strat and the only other two products I needed where fretwire and strings. For the price the quality is great there is not very much background noise when plugged into my amp but it was missing the screws for the six Jack plate.

I purchased this set for an old squire body and neck I had lying around. I had to drill out for the tuners, re-drill for the screws holding them straight, and re-drill for the pick guard screw alignment. The screws that came with the spring claw were not big enough so I used a couple of 3-inch drywall screws. Various other screws weren't quite big enough but easily replaced. It took me a couple of hours but everything came together and the guitar plays great! There is some excess noise when plugged in to an amp but I can work on that with some shielding, etc. All in all I though this kit was a great deal. I got my son helping me and he learned a lot.Guitar Dads: Order this set and pick up a cheap beat up squire on Craigslist. Get onto YouTube and learn how to set up a guitar. You and your kid(s) can get this done in a half day. Great fun, quality time, and you get a great little guitar out of it.

I bought this for my son, who likes to build strats. He has a "E" series Japanese, a Mexican, and a generic body, and the pick guard didn't line up with any of them. Not a problem if you want to drill new holes in your body, but we had to shop for another pick guard. The rest of the kit was usable.

I like the product. Not all the holed lined up but I'm not too concerned about that. It came with sooooo much stuff it was worth a few new holes. They sent 4 complete sets of wiring for some type of guitar (not a strat) and some tuning pegs that wouldn't fit. It was missing the screws for the back plate but I had some left over from the old one. Aside from that I'm very satisfied so far.

Great kit for projects I was able to take otherwise useless guitar parts and assembly a good starter stratocaster style instruments

The pickups weren't labeled which was neck and which was bridge. Not bad for the price. I get a little bit of ground hum, even though my wiring is definitely grounded. Still, pretty happy with them.

Looks excellent on my black LP-ish guitar, although these are quite tune on the bright side of the spectrum

Pleasently surprised by these cheap imitations; slapped them into a cheap guitar and turned it into a screamer. Not bad for a few bucks, ha ha. If you've got a lackluster cheapie sitting around your house, stick these into it and liven it up a bit.

Good humbucker sound for less money. Professional look with all screws and frames. There might be better humbuckers out there, maybe, for 20 times more bucks.

Pickups are pretty lame, but some of the other parts got my Squier up and running again!

Everything arrived on time and in perfect shape. No missing pieces.I just needed the pickguard, and for the price, it was a pretty good deal.Unfortunately, the holes on the pickguard didn't match the holes on the body of my American Standard (Corona, California - bought in 2000).I used just 5 screw and didn't care about the others.It does the job, but it won't satisfy freaks seeking perfection. It's just a replacement, not an upgrade.

Giving this 3 stars after 2 returns and probably should give it 2. The first order was missing everything but the pickguard. Those things happen so i returned it and reordered. I tried to find a way to contact the vendor but couldn't. Their site says to just return through Amazon. The second one had everything but the pickguard screws. The pickguard holes were all drilled in the wrong locations. I have a Fender Stratocaster not a knock off or clone and it would not line up with even 2 screw holes. Some were close and others were as much as 1/2 inch (12mm) off (I'm not kidding they are misaligned by a measurable 1/2 inch).I ordered it for a third time. This time it came with the same parts, missing the pickguard screws again. The holes were closer but still do not line up two are still 1/2 inch off, I was able to get 3 screws in and will have to decide to replace it or drill new holes that will line up. For that I should give this a 2 star rating, but its cheap and i bought it knowing it was way cheaper than anything else. So I'm not surprised. The electronics work. Their not great (or properly grounded) but they work.Most of the hardware is decent and looks nice so it's worth the price if you are missing several pieces like the bridge, strap pins, jack, back plates etc. Don't be surprised if they aren't top quality. Don't expect the pickgaurd to line up either. I doubt if any of them do after 3 orders of the same thing.The tuning keys work but some feel tighter or rougher than others so I'd suspect they are not keepers either.

If you are on a budget then i recommend these pickups. Trust me they deliver. I have 4 guitars and have these installed i was skeptical at first. But to my surprise i was blown away. Buy these!!

The bridge pickup sounds alright. The neck pickup had a wire that was too short, and makes things very difficult to wire.

The bigger problem is the quality control. First I was sent two neck pickups, both of which were corroded, tilted and of general poor quality.

A month later, I recieved the correct ones, which were much better, aside from a short neck pickup wire.

Just received my set. Both had a 'B' on the back so I was concerned I got two bridge pickups. Tested the resistance and one was 13.91 and the other was 13.88. So it's safe to assume they are both bridge. The add states neck is 8, and the bridge is 15. They're cheap so I'll hold on to both for bridge pickups on future builds.

I ordered these to replace a very microphonic set of pickups in a guitar. Installed the neck pickup and everything went okay, but the bridge pickup was dead. That's when I tested it. Lesson learned, test the pickup before installing it. The neck pickup is very good though, much better than expected. For the cost ($15 at the time I purchased) it is a great deal for 1 pickup.

These will revive an old beater guitar but don't expect too much more. I installed these in a Lyon by Washburn LI15 $90 beginner guitar. They had some strong screechy harmonics on some strings and a rather flat sound compared to the stock pickups which had a stronger output and a better metal drive. After an hour of tweeking and playing they were livable. Don't buy these thinking they'll do miracles in a higher end guitar, they did nothing great for me. When I stuck my screwdriver to the magnets they felt a little bit weaker than the stock pickup magnets.. These may be an upgrade if your ax is a First Act though. I will not buy again..

I received 2 neck pickups instead of 1 bridge and 1 neck. The measured about 7.4k. Package was also missing a screw...but they were cheap, I guess.

Low output, lots of noise. I ended up not using these.

One pickup worked fine. Pretty hot output. The other one didn't; when I opened it up to look inside, I found the copper leads around one set of the magnetic poles pieces broken. Still, a half decent price for receiving one functional, if not stellar, pickup.

Ceramic. Varied quality. My set was very close as in OHM K. A little better than stock but very bright. Better for high distortion and not blues. I'll toss them in a box for something else. Didn't bring out the tone I was looking for. I'll have to try another brand. Really don't want to spend $120 on Seymour's.

I received an identical pair instead of a matched pair. Both were marked N for neck. I needed one for the bridge as well. Sent them back and got something else.

One of the pickups was defective, I checked all the internal wiring which was correct so assume it was a shorted coil. The other was fine. Not a big deal, they were so cheap that I ordered them on a whim, just this time my gamble didn't pay off but at least have one pickup I can use for a future project.

Pathetic. The first go around the package was missing most of the parts. Second go around, everything looked to be there, wrapped in bubble wrap. I didn't open it right away, but when I did I noticed that the face plate was severely scratched in several places. Scratches looked like someone took a key or other sharp instrument and scratched in intentionally..... Nice Job, Live and Learn......

The Pickup guard arrived damaged. Its tip was broken off. The back plate was stained and the cover for the neck was bubbling chrome. The rest of the order arrived fine. I am not going to bother sending the whole set back. Waste of time. All these items were obviously broken prior to shipment.

The screw holes on the pick guard and tuning keys don't line up, and the pickups sit so high that i can't even put strings on. This may have to do with the fact that I have a Mexican Strat, so maybe they fit for an American one. If you have a Mexican don't buy these parts.

Shorting out bridge pickup

These pickups are abosolute junk. Not labeled neck or bridge. I had the ohm them out to know which pickup went where. Good thing I did because one pick had a short in it. Don't waste your time with these. 100% garbage.

A seen in pictures it should have been a 2 wire set up. Mine came as 4 wire which I did not want. The wiring was not long enough to solder to the pots outside of the guitar so i really had to work them in tight which made for a sloppy job. The bridge pick up is not as hot as stated and the neck pick up I received had a short to ground in one of the coils. But they look cool! Not cool at all!

not good business practice to send non working pickups to customers
you would think that there would be some quality control involved

some of the other reviews say that they received some non working and mismatched sets
so buyer beware

It says they are 100% like the picture. They are goldish in the picture. They came in white. Make sure you want white before you order
