The board and glass where in wonderful condition when I recieved them. The only thing was that 2 of the foam things that go below the glass became detached durring shipping, but hot glue fixed that. I would also recommend putting little soft peices of felt under the planchette. That way it glides smoothly over the glass. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

I really like this board, the explanation on the back, I am going to remove the 8 glass green cabochons for some real stones, perhaps green jasper....

Fantastic to look at & better to use. I would recommend getting some felt pieces for the planchette so it will not scratch the glass but I had a few problems with the board when it arrives with a few of the felt pieces on the bottom missing in the seller was great to work with I would definitely recommend this product's and I would buy From the seller again

I absolutely loved how the board turned out. Looks beautiful and well designed. The only issues I had was one of the gems and one of th little stands the glass sets on came broke. However a little super glue fixed it. If needed I would buy again and very happ with the survice

The Product looks great, has that old times feel to it. It is hollow tho, So be careful because it can break easily.

A few runny glue marks and the planchet is missing the small pieces underneath to keep from scratching the glass. Other then that, i love it

It is a nice piece and just what I wanted. However they really hose you on the shipping and handling, if you can get somewhere else do so.

The bottom is a cheap kind of plastic and it does not come with any sort of protective case for storing.

I'm giving it three out of five, mainly because it bothers me that its hollow in the center, and I had been expecting wood, but that was mainly because I hadn't read the description fully. There were some areas within the board that were misshapen.

Its ok... but it says "Cold cast"... Cold cast in plastic! It is a hard plastic toy .. that is nice to the eyes .. it should only be 29.99 to 40.00 the most.. I have seen it for 60.00 after I bought this for 77.99... Dont get it unless its cost is way lower then this.. Hard plastic... And i was supprised... Well maybe not to surpprised because i turned it around and it said made in china... I am hoping it dont contain cancer forming elements in the plastic like most toys made in china... Its not worth this high price.. I will have to go get silver nail polish and go over some letters where it looks warn already... but its ok .... nice to the eye.. but should be made from diffrent material if the price is this high...

a lot cheaper then appears!!!!product had a broke green jewl/dot when it came. lacked enough pads on back to set stable. I was really disappointed with it. felt it was supposed to be much higher quality.

This item is not worth the $54.99 plus the $15.35 I paid for shipping and handling (Total 70.34). The rubber tips that were glued on to rest the glass top on and the faux emerald stones seen on the face were attached haphazardly. On the bottom there were to be four felt dots attached to keep the board from scratching a table top, two were missing. The Plachette does not move freely and will need to have felt attached to allow movement over the surface of the board. Aesthetically it's ok, but I'm sorry I cannot recommend this item.

I'm overall pleased with this purchase although I had to go out and get metallic-silver paint to repaint the letters and numbers as they otherwise would be hard to read. Having done that, it's now really an excellent board. To make the planchette move more easily on the glass, take a pledge wipe (or something similar) and clean the surface of the glass. I also added felt tips to the bottom of the planchette. It now glides easily across the glass. Had I not had to handle these minor details, I might have added an additional star or two.Caution: this is NOT a toy. I highly advise you to read up on how to use this board. Have someone specific in mind that you want to reach; don't just open up communication with any entity by asking: "Is somebody/anybody there?" There are several good books here on Amazon to get you up to speed.

This product is lovely to look at.....however it is lacking in many areas to make it work.....or should I say allow it to work. But it is pretty.

I got this item broken and the glas scratched. I was so nervous I wanted to give this item an Christmas present.

This board is not even built to work. It needs to say "DISPLAY ONLY" when selling. very misleading and now ive been burned 100$. What comes around goes around seller.

Cheaply made plastic. Mine broke / cracked within a month.

The glass for it arrived with a very large and prominent 7" scratch across the surface of it. Also, the planchet has holes on the bottom that indicate felt footing should be applied to it but was not included. Overall dissatisfied, I'd recommend that you steer clear of this one...

Quality of the board is not as good as I had hoped for, based on the photos in the ad. It was missing one of the green acrylic gems from the top of the board. It also has two felt pads on the bottom on the same side. This causes the board to tilt and is unstable. The bottom also has signs of wear, giving It the appearance of being used.
