Five Star Reviews: | 49% Smells great, protects skin & no sting! November 6, 2015 I used this spray-on seal after my stitches came out following a hip replacement. It kept the skin supple & softened & it smelled terrific. There was no sting, no burning, no chafing. My skin seemed to drink it in. I would not use it on any area WITH redness or open areas, but my incision was closed, & the spray kept it moisturized & free from irritation. It worked great! Works well, seems to sooth. April 22, 2015 This arrived yesterday. I put it on a cut my daughter has and she told me it felt very good. She is still saying that it feels much better this morning. She had been picking at it, which is why we tried this. So far it's done the trick. This doesn't seem like it would stay very long on areas of the body that are rubbed often (fingers, hands, joints). But it's working well in this application. Will Buy Again! January 20, 2015 This thing is great!1.)Stops bleeding almost immediately and makes the cut feel better2.)Doesn't sting!3.)Actually makes the cut smaller, somehow! I believe it pulls the skin together. The cut doesn't bother you and heals quicker, with less scars. You get sort of a small brown halo on the skin surrounding it while it's healing and the thing is on.For someone who gets cut a lot, this thing is great! My only complaint is the applicator. The spray is sort of annoying and puts out too much. I have ended up using a q-tip; my husband just uses his finger to spread the spray around. I like my method better. Not really a big enough deal for me to ding it. Best liquid bandaid June 4, 2014 This works great on uneven cuts like knuckles where bandaids don't work at all. Its also flexible and waterproof and lasts the whole day. It has seriously saved me a few times. Allergy Friendly March 7, 2014 Free of Gluten, Corn, Latex, and the top eight food allergens. The only two ingredients are polyacrylate polymer and water. And it works great! Perfect Winter Relief January 14, 2014 I bought this for my husband who works in all kinds of weather. At this time of year, he gets terribly dry skin, resulting in cracks around his nails and cuticles. He used Lubriderm throughout the day and night, but it just isn't enough. This product helped to seal moisture in and heal the cracks. Great stuff! | 64% For hard to reach areas and great way to stop bleeding fast. August 15, 2017 Curad flex bandage spray is awesome. I had been using it for a minor cut that is hard to get a bandage properly to adhere and cover. It works great.A day ago I was cutting an item I slipped and cut my thumb pretty well. I was having a rough time getting it to stop bleeding. I applied the Curad flex bandage and in a few seconds it sealed and stopped the bleeding. I am very impressed and will be a returning happy customer. Waterproof and stays put on skin April 30, 2017 Good for areas that a band aid won't stay. Good for washing because of being waterproof. The absolute best for scrapes, cuts, on hairy or bendy parts :) September 9, 2016 Why can't I find this in stores anymore? If anyone knows which store sells these please comment here and tell me! This is the BEST for scrapes and cuts on hands and bendy parts. My boys scream when they see it, and I figure "Hey,it's not like it's Bactine or something, get back here?" but it coats and seals and protects their scraped up bendy parts so they can go back to playing. Also with hairy arms and legs, bandaids don't stick well, so this is a no-brainer and lasts for a day or two with a few coats. It stings a bit at first (I also use it on me, especially on fingers/hands) but the second coat doesn't hurt. It even will fill in little cuts so they will stop opening up and start healing. It's not globby and yellow like New Skin or liquid bandage. This stuff is the best and I wish I could find it locally. We go through a lot of it! Works well August 25, 2016 Works really well. Suggestion: if spraying onto hand cuts, position over a garbage can and spray. Overspray can be sticky to clean up. I had two cuts 3 days ago: one I used this stuff, the other I used Liquid Bandage. The LB cut got a little infected, had to clean it and reseal it again, the one using this (which was bigger) never caused me a moment more trouble. GREAT solution for cuts February 12, 2016 Glue me up Scottie! This stuff is the best. Cut myself while vacationing at the beach and it glued my cut very well. I was able to put on a waterproof bandage on top and swim and play hard all week without skipping a beat. Just reapplied nightly after being in and out of water all day long. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% Great alternative January 23, 2016 I marked one start down, because I wish it was thicker and dried faster like the other less natural kinds. But it does dry clear and makes a great barrier. Just be patient. effective and comfortable seal April 22, 2015 Forms a very effective and comfortable seal that helps prevent further abrasion. However, it takes a long time to dry, and is quite difficult to apply to round or convex areas (it rolls away before drying). Product works well, but the spray is way too ... March 13, 2015 Product works well, but the spray is way too much and is difficult to control. If the company could figure out another way to dispense/apply the product, I'd give it 5 stars. | 16% ... in a pinch but it will peel off fairly easily. April 13, 2017 Does the trick in a pinch but it will peel off fairly easily. Tiny can, but if it works as stated, everyone should keep it close at hand! October 4, 2016 I have not had a chance to use it, however as a former EMT, I could see a reason to have and keep with me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is TINY for the price! Once I have a chance to use it I will update the review. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 14% This works fine, but it smells like cheese March 29, 2015 This works fine, but it smells like cheese. I didn't realized that there were non-natural options as well... maybe this one is better for me and it works, but I don't really appreciate the smell. Not chemical-y, but sprays a stream instead of a mist March 23, 2015 It may just be my spray nozzle, but it comes out in a stream and then runs off that area of skin. I expected it to be more of a light mist that would need a couple layers for good coverage. As is, I still have to push the puddle of it around. I like that it's not like putting clear nail polish on a scrape, though. Definitely a plus. Love the concept. Formulation not right in practice - too runny & thin/watery. March 19, 2015 Was excited for the product - like the concept, seemed like it would work.Like one reviewer said... way too runny, takes a lot longer than 1-2 min to dry, and there doesn't appear to be anything there when dried.I sat my toddler down on the couch, put on a Dora, and proceeded to spray her scraped knee. Sprayed. Put a paper towel under leg because it ran down off both sides. Product was slightly sticky to the touch - that part's expected, as I'm hoping for a 'natural bandage'. Blew for 3min & still wet. Blew for 5+ min, and first layer appears dry. Applied a 2nd layer - still runny, still blew, took longer to dry. After all was done, didn't see a difference of skin vs. barrier. Could sort of feel it.Couple hours later, jumped in the shower, the little that was there appeared to be gone by the end of the shower. Used a regular bandage with medicine after that. Excellent concept, a little fussy to use. April 22, 2014 I love the idea of this product. And honestly it does work great, but it is very thin when sprayed on which makes it immediately want to run off where you have sprayed it. So you are left standing there trying to balance a thin layer of this very thin liquid on a wound and blowing on it like crazy to try to get it to dry faster. I know you don't need a heavy layer of this, but on the same note the product is SO thin you can't help but feel like you should really put a couple applications on if you want some decent protection. This of course could take a while with several applications and some serious balancing skills needed to prevent run off and don't forget the dry time. This of course is fairly impractical for a wiggling toddler, who doesn't want to be fussed over. Or even a couple of young boys, whose primary goal in life is to acquire scars for future bragging rights. That all being said, it is an interesting product and a good idea! And it feels good on, very thin and flexible. It has a very silicon like feel to it. I honestly don't know how long it would last though without multiple layers on. But I do think it probably offers more protection and keeping a cut or scrap clean than a traditional bandage as it seals around the cut or wound and doesn't allow anything in at all.I think it could have some interesting uses. I wonder if it wouldn't work well as an almost spray on finger cot, for anyone needing a little extra gripping power on your finger tips. Eh...it's ok. March 3, 2014 I got this because of psoriasis on my hands that cause them to crack and bleed around & underneath my finger nails. My thought was that this would help to keep them 'covered'. It sprays in a stream, not a fan-type spray so you waste a lot as it drips. It can handle 1 hand washing at best and is completely useless in a sink of dishes. Guess I'm back to gloves...sigh.This is ok if you are covering a child's scrape or scratch. It doesn't sting but you can't use an antibiotic cream underneath it either. If you want something to keep in your car to use at the park, it's ok. Just remember to clean the wound when you get home. | 12% Ill go back to the liquid vs gaseous bandage spray. August 12, 2016 Spray tends to hit a much larger area than you want. Not great June 30, 2016 I normally use a different brand of liquid bandage, that is not clear, and thought this might be an improvement. It was not, it did not seal the wound I used it on, even after several coats, and it ran down my leg before drying. This did not dry as quickly as the brand i normally buy.It may work for very minor scratches, but I personally will not buy this brand again... This stings like all get out when applied December 10, 2015 This stings like all get out when applied, but it does seem to stay in place for a long time. I give it two coats, at least, with plenty of dry time between. I won't be using this on a child, but it's okay for adults who can handle the sting without screaming. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 11% Clogged just sitting about September 8, 2016 Spray bottle clogged after 2 months in the cabinet.Expected a bit better on the spray partWould look for a pressurized can the next time Not worth it. June 29, 2016 The spray is very thin and tends to run off of the wound easily. It feels sticky instead of drying properly and creating a nice seal on the wound. I don't think this product is worth it, you are better off with a liquid or regular old bandaid. Container is smaller than I expected for the price. ... June 19, 2016 Container is smaller than I expected for the price. Also, the sprayer on it is not a go way to apply Slow to dry. December 8, 2015 I tried this because the description said it could be used on a cold sore. However, this dries so slowly, it was still tacky after almost a minute. I suppose that is ok for other external areas, but to wait for something to dry that long on your lip is a hassle. I probably accidentally licked all of it off before it dried. I'm not sure if that is because I received an almost expired product. Perhaps a fresh bottle would dry faster. | 3% Ok- not great March 9, 2017 Not like the old curad spray- didn't cover well or film over well I thought- wish i could get the old curad stuff- that worked well- I suppose it filmed over enough though if you have a cut to keep debri out- I just need something a bit stronger and more of a film- Not as thick as other spray bandage brand. I ... September 20, 2014 Not as thick as other spray bandage brand. I needed more of a protective layer for cuts on hands and fingers, this just was too thin. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 14% Terrible February 15, 2014 Washed off. stayed sticky to touch. Waste of money. I'd really wanted it to work because it's premise is promising. Used as directed, | 5% | 0% There are no reviews yet |
