I love the look of it and glad that it arrived in one piece, looking at the not so nice reviews, that it broke when it arrived, I'm a bit worried.However, I'm not so happy with the ups and downs of the price in this product, presumably from the different dealers. Just glad that I did not pay the most expensive of it and that it came in one piece!

This looks better live. The details are awesome. Only one small problem..the plan chester had no felt bottom to slide on glass top

beautiful board but is very hard to keep clean and i do wish the planchette had some glass or stone of some sort in the eye.

It's a lovely piece but for the money I spent I expected it to be made of wood and it's plastic or resin. Still pleased with my purchase just a little disappointed lol

I really like the style and uniqueness of this Ouija board. But I was disappointed with the planchette. It was heavy and there is a lot of drag with it. I was afraid it would scratch the glass, so I attached some foam board to the bottom and added felt feet.

Cheaply made...pretty much a mat and a piece of plastic...wish it was all wood

Cheap-y made. When you move the stylus to yes, the legs fall off the board because the board is just barely big enough. My daughter is happy with it though.

the material of the board is good ,, but there is no instructions .. i tried 3 times as well and i didn't work

1 of the rubber pieces that the glass rests on was missing. The other 3 were on crooked. The paint is very shoddy. Most of the letters and numerals are only about half covered in gold. Last but not least, the planchette has nothing on the bottom of it to help it move across the glass easily. I gave it 3 stars because after I made a trip to the hardware and art supply stores, I was able to make it look as nice as it did in the photos. It is solidly made and the design elements are all as pictured. Just know that buying this product will include extra purchases as well as some arts & crafts work.An additional note: It was very poorly packaged. I am honestly suprised that it made it to me without any shipping damage.

planchette is to plastic and wiggly. the board is rough and won't allow for ease of slide of the planchette which has felt on the feet. the underside of the board is the actual slippery side and won't stay put for planchette to move. so...... it's pretty but not useful.

I honestly feel like I wasted my money on this product. I played it alone and not with others. However, it was just a waste of time.

like most boards the top answers are too close to the outside edge,. either you have to make your own nowadays or put up with it.

The original board does not have anything made of plastic. I had to make my own guide.

Its not wood. I got cheated. Its just a cheap thick (or rather thin) board... fuuuuuu..The face is sticked on the board. Easily damaged so take good care...

What an awesome looking board..............except for one thing! Although I love cats and all animals ALOT!!! having a cat in the center of this board distracts me. Every time I look at the picture I am immediately drawn to the cat. Where ever I place my gaze I can still see that cat. It takes away my focus and concentration. The design on the board is awesome by itself without the cat. The base design is truly mezmerizing and plugs me in with it's genuing mystical appearance and feel. I would buy it if it wasn't for that darned cat in the middle. It completely throws me off blocking my connection and focus and disrupts the beauty of the base design.

Me and a few friends used it and my friend is now in a mental hospital because of traumatizing events that if spoken about will result in painful head shavings.

This is not like the original. First, the planchette is very heavy. Second, the board has a rough surface, unlike the smooth board that came with the classic version. Combined, these two things make it very very difficult to move the planchette across the board. Finally, the rough surface of the board is VERY loud. So loud in fact it might just scare away any spirits wishing to talk with you. I am returning this one and purchasing an original game.

I've used this board on several occasions with different groups of people, and it has never come close to actually working. I've tried using it to communicate with alleged spirits in reputedly haunted places, and I have never received a response. This is nothing more than a piece of cardboard, along with a cheap plastic accessory: there's nothing intrinsically supernatural about it, and there are much better ways to spend $20 than wasting it on this.

When I asked the spirits if this was a good purchase they said "no". I have to go with them. Though I did like the board print and authentic feel of the pointer.

Mine like many others on here came broken. The glass was chipped and the bottom was broken. This is a beautiful piece. So deeply disappointed.

Beautiful looking item, but very cheap piece of junk. The seller clearly has issues with this item arriving in pieces, because they packaged it as carefully as possible. It was in a form-fitted styrofoam box, then inside a box the exact dimensions of the styrofoam, then inside another larger box filled with rolls of packing paper. Still arrived in hundreds of pieces. The pieces were about a millimeter thick, if this gives you an idea of how thin and fragile it is. If you're lucky enough to have it arrive in one piece, be advised that it is made from a very thin type of resin or plastic mix. The slightest jolt is going to break it. It's unfortunate such a lovely *looking* item is so cheap and junky. Especially for the price! Probably cost less than $10 to manufacture.

What a piece of low quality junk! Plastic, glass just sits on the top and doesn't sit level. The pointer does not slide over the glass. Made in China trash! Packed in lovely foam that takes a lot of time to clean up. Can't believe something this bad would sell for this kind of price. AWFUL!!!!

Don't touch it.. the paint flakes right off! Poorly made! For the money not worth it!
